In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Bad Blood 2024 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Bad Blood 2024 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up/Speculation: I have just looked over this card and to somewhat speed this up, I think all The Judgement Day members are going to win here to set up a either Mixed Elimination Survivor Series Tag Match which I would prefer over the second option of splitting it down into their genders. Because they are obviously going to leave WarGames for The Bloodline side of things and on a quick side note you will pick up a theme of using this Premium Live Event of very much being used as a stepping stone towards WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 [yes I am aware of the event known as WWE Crown Jewel: Saturday 02/11/ 2024 before WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024: Saturday 30/11/2024.]

The Terror Twins': Rhea Ripley vs. The Judgement Day's: Champ Liv Morgan; Singles match for the WWE Women's World Championship; Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a Shark Cage: my pick is Liv Morgan. If I had to guess Mysterio Carlito and his apple are going to get involved with his shtick of spitting the apple in Ripley's face.

The Terror Twins': Damian Priest vs. The Judgement Day's: One Half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor; Singles Match: my pick is Finn Bálor. With the obvious assist from the Other Half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions JD McDonagh with a chair shot when Priest's head is possibly heading through the ropes.

Bayley vs. Champ Queen Nia Jax; Singles Match for the WWE Women's Championship: my pick is Queen Nia Jax. I don't know how much stock in the WWE has been putting into Queen Jax. But isn't it time that they gave their a royal subject/tag team partner, which gets involved in this match, consequently setting up a tag team match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024; where if Bayley wins she gets another opportunity, but if he doesn't win she can't challenge for the championship as long as Queen Jax is still champion and if the WWE hierarchy/creative team wanted to give Bayley another opportunity, the royal subject can take the loss.

The Bloodline's: Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu [with WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa;] vs. the Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns; Tag Team Match: my pick is Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns. I fully expect for Paul Heyman to make a return to TV, but he won't be coming along; maybe with either a tag team or two singles competitors, to balance up the numbers here and build towards WarGames or I have just realised it could be just one guy with Heyman Hikuleo; which is more than likely the case, because if you haven't seen this guy and no I am not an expert on him, he did show up in AEW in 2022: he is a slimmer version of Kane which conveniently made his debut WWF in Your House: Badd Blood 05/10/1997 and this event is taking place precisely 27 years later 05/10/2024, so if they don't give Hikuleo this kind of debut I would consider this to be a massive missed opportunity, I mean if they were to put on this match in the main event slot just so that they can do this debut I don't think no one would complain.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre; Hell In A Cell Match: my pick is Drew McIntyre. I should just point out I have put this match here based on it is on the advertising for this event. McIntyre should win here, to finish this off unless they have something else lined up to celebrate the anniversary of Kane as in the style of his debut, so he won't be there and is talking about his debut style, I mean you could have The Wyatt Sicks make an impact which I am sure yet again no one would complain

Average Extra of: Marvel is Coming Soon Incoming Announcement  by AverageMansReviews

Incoming Announcement:

Starting Tuesday 01/10/2024 until hopefully Saturday 01/02/2025: will be non-stop Marvel [the only content that will be exempt from this would be wrestling predictions] and yes the only reason I will extend this date is if I need to finish putting something out, so I won't leave something unfinished

I should also point out that there may/probably will be occasions where this content won't sync as smoothly as my usual standard, because when I got this idea for this content I was already looking at/creating other content but still based on Marvel in some way or another, Including the fact I have used UK age certificates so I have just gone for the close was one, so in some cases I would have dropped it down based on we don't have that certificate are; starting with Daredevil 2015 Season 1

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/terrorism/shooting/stabbing/impaling/cutting/drugs/child abuse/animal cruelty/vehicle crash/burning/drugs/kamikaze/medical/references to Russia or/and the Soviet Union and cancer.

There is no need for Pepper, when you have Salt: basically; gets Agent Evelyn Salt/another name [Younger: Cassidy Hinkle/Older: Angelina Jolie:] she is a CIA Agent that gets accused of being a Russian spy, so heodore "Ted" Winter/another character [Liev Schreiber:] he is a working party of Agent Salt that alongside someone he now has to take her down, with Darryl Peabody [Chiwetel Ejiofor:] he is a ONCIX Agent that would like to get bottom of this situation.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 100 minutes film is straightforward as it knows what it wants to do and sticks to the plan, so everything is fundamentally sound and good.

Action, art and a bit of comedy; Agent Salt/another character is running/escaping from the people that are chasing her from falling/dropping/jumping from one moving vehicle another or/and later on we have her being detained in a backseat of a NYPD cruiser; but she is controlling the driver with a taser gun; so every time he gets taser he moves which makes the cruiser move; in essence what we have here is; a real-life remote control car; these tin sequences are high octane action, that have been smoothly yet frantically put together with a smidgen of comedy as it relates to the taser gun being used.

Character developments and performances; they are of mystery, so they are solidly good for at least a one-time showing, especially if you haven't seen this film yet or you have any can't remember it. These three fully grown performers are all good and are the driving force behind this project; without these performers this film would have really struggled.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; it is solidly entertaining for what it is especially if you like a one or all three of these performers. This film also has awards accredited to its name such as 4 Winners that include Rembrandt Awards 2011 Rembrandt Award Best International Actress (Beste Buitenlandse Actrice)Angelina Jolie and Taurus World Stunt Awards 2011 Taurus Award Best Overall Stunt by a Stunt Woman Janene Carleton Angelina Jolie evades federal offices by jumping through traffic. When the truck makes a hard brake, she rolls off the truck. All of the vehicles were moving at speed. 16 Nominees which includes Academy Awards, USA Oscar Best Achievement in Sound Mixing Jeffrey J. Haboush William Sarokin Scott Millan Greg P. Average Extra of: Joker: Folie à Deux 2024 & Let's Talk About Its Growing Concerns by AverageMansReviews

Average Extra of: Joker: Folie à Deux 2024 & Let's Talk About Its Growing Concerns by AverageMansReviews

Heavy Warning: there will be using adult censored language, but probably more than I usually do.

Real Talking Time:

"Why so serious?": I find it absolutely hilarious that regardless of where you sit on this subject matter the vast majority of you are just being fudgin' idiots, honestly just fudgin' idiots; Because I have been around content creating for many years. So obviously I have learned many things, such as for those people that are releasing/discussing the projections of this sequel financially as it relates to pre-sale tickets, yes absolutely I would take these figures on board if they aren't great, then they aren't great. But because I am a logical individual, I can also put a little discrepancy in this; by saying people could and possibly are still very much interested in Deadpool & Wolverine 2024 which there are three very interesting facts to consider; 1; this film as of this content being first created has made over $1.3 billion at the box office [I have seen it four times and it is still showing in cinemas; incidentally both of these projects have the same budget of $200 million, but I digress;] this comic book target audience and after smashing success of this sequel could now be just a little bit burned out and before you come out with " But they come from two different comic book companies." Yes this is very true also a very stupid comment to make, because more often than not yes there are some people may or may not prefer one company over the other, but broadly speaking you are hitting the same/similar target audience and as I have just said they could be burnt out.

2; the word of mouth over for the past 10 days has been at best mixed and worst highly sceptical as soon as it is discovered that it was going to be a musical of some description [I will talk about this more later on in this content,] so people may be just waiting to see what the word of mouth is after something have seen this film for themselves before other people pay money for a ticket. 3; the sequel factor as in was there enough interest in even considering bringing this sequel to life? For me saying yes [but before I have the keyboard warriors after me,] I would highlight a big concern over a potential niche audience; so either go big or go home or don't bother. Because this sequel has every possibility just to get crushed by the success of Deadpool & Wolverine 2024 and this would be a fair comparison from the perspective of okay both comic book companies regardless of who owns what rights, have been going through a rough patch but Marvel Studios comes out with Deadpool & Wolverine 2024 yet DC comes out with Joker: Folie à Deux 2024, so essentially what I'm saying is okay Deadpool & Wolverine 2024 have basically said okay that is what we have so we lay the gauntlet down you Joker: Folie à Deux 2024; bring whatever you have to the big screen yes it can be absolutely different, but make it stand out and go with a bang instead of a water pistol which the more I am looking into this sequel Joker is more than likely what we are looking at.

Trailer; I have seen one short trailer in a cinema, but today researching this content I decided to look for a longer trailer and I found one which roughly goes on for 170 seconds, so that is that will be the one I will now be discussing.

But even before we talk about the trailer; we need to talk about the colossal elephant in the room and the first very big, gigantic problem even Galactus himself would say "Even I Galactus the eater of worlds am struggling to swallow that." One minute this sequel is meant to be a musical and the next minute it isn't a musical. So what they fudge is it then? For the people that are wondering why I am annoyed by this; it is frankly 101 of how to market your film before its release, which is priceless free advertising from the perspective of word of mouth, so even from the very beginning it doesn't look good forget about the trailer for a second, if the people that have worked on this film don't know what genre or genres to put it into then how in the hell are you going to get people engaged in this sequel? I should point out one key factor I have looked on some websites and yes guess what word they have used as it relates to the categories of genres; yes absolutely it says "Musical" amongst other genres, so if it looks like a musical and vaguely sounds like a musical then guess what it is; it is a fudgin' musical.

But let's move on shall we then don't worry they aren't getting off that easy; regardless of short or long trailer; they both look like dark Theatre productions which also feeds into the idea that this is going to be some kind of musical. I should point out with some clarity until I was told or it was indicated I didn't know it was going to be a musical and I will explain why; because yes it looks like a musical, but and this is another big problem at best they vaguely sing, I have said vaguely sing, because it is a mixture between singing and/or talking and just talking. I mean the more I spend even researching this content or/and doing this content; the more I think this is just going to be a fudgin' mess.

I mean, I was even on board for them to do a musical to put over basically the Joker, Harley Quinn and eventually; their connection; in a highly artistic, complex and intellectual manner; to bring an alternative perspective on this really layered relationship. I think in hindsight well definitely in hindsight I potentially may have gave them too much credit for thinking outside of the box, yes I have my ticket to see this sequel, so my opinion may or may not change, but if it isn't either something complex or graphic then I am going to be fuming and finally in someone else's content they made reference to something to the effect of people I am paraphrasing here not being settled on Lady Gaga which I found something in the trailer I really didn't like and now I can't stop hearing it/because it isn't there, if you know Harley Quinn she has a very distinctive New York on a little bit of research just to make sure it is a Brooklyn accent, which I knew this already; but we just have Lady Gaga as talking or singing in a normal voice for her; Additionally: I have just seen a clip of this film on The Graham Norton Show on Friday 13/09/2024 and she is literally just talking without no hint of a Brooklyn accent so I am not already best pleased, I mean it took me some time to remember, but the only time that Quinn didn't have a Brooklyn accent is in Birds of Prey 2002 TV series which went on for 13 Episodes [which as you can see by my tags I have watched every episode, so if you want to get a flavour of that TV program go and have a look.]

So I guess the final question is the big one; do I see this sequel making money? Before I did my research, I would have been saying yes with a comfortable profit of $200 million to $300 million on top of that budget of $200 million so altogether may be about $500 million. But back in reality; after what I have heard [which are factors/variables] and viewing a longer trailer; I think this sequel at best from its entire run at the cinema. How can I put this nicely? At best they can hope and pray for their budget back, which I should just say for the record I don't want this to be the case. But as I have clearly shown in this content alone; for me there are just too many red flags already, so in theory let's just go with the argument of this project gets the green light to go ahead; what should have been a relatively big money film based on the Joker, Quinn and Arkham Asylum is more than likely going to be a titanic level of experience for everyone involved.

Heavy Warning: I will be discussing mental health and using some adult censored wording

Real Talking Time:

Usually like 9.5/10 I am not this guy; but this is one of those occasions where I will make an exception: I hate to say it, but I told you essentially this would happen. Where it has only been roughly 24 hours and I think the general consensus is for Schofield to fudge off again. Yes I have been looking at comments, new posts of old news of how he got in to this position in the first place, so like it indicated in the related content if Schofield wanted to put his family, his friends or/and anyone connected to him including the young man through this saga again I would sarcastically like to say well done mission achieved, don't get it Schofield no one feels sorry for you as it was you that had the power, the position and all the cards in these situations around you; no one feels sorry for you and yes I will be watching this three episodes special; because unfortunately it falls right in my jurisdiction of content creation.

But based on the commercial; as I have already referenced in the relating content, I believe he is going to play the victim, which I can tell you right here and right now, it isn't going to work with me, in fact the more I see online and think about this whole situation and its outcome, I just can't see any positives to come out of it; but we will have to wait and see; but if I was Schofield and Channel 5 I would prepare myself for the feedback you are probably not expecting, well I say that but minus you I think most of us can see a negative reception happening here.

Heavy Warning: I will be discussing mental health and using some very minor adult wording

Real Talking Time:

Schofield you are a complete penis: and believe it or not to begin with I don't mean it in a derogatory manner, I mean it in the sense of; you must be a complete penis if you have mentally recovered enough after 16 months in exile [rightly so by the way,] to then come back and re-open yourself and your family to public worldwide criticism and to provide a little bit more evidence that to begin with I don't mean it in a derogatory manner to begin with; everyone knows if you have a proper/real life mental illness be it depression or genuine other mental illness, people don't tend to put themselves directly back in the firing line, okay they may go back to their old profession, but learn something from how they got mentally ill to begin with such as maybe doing less hours [this is crucial to remember for later on in this content.] But back to here and now; I feel, scratch that I know you are making a massive mistake coming back to TV in this manner, I mean if you had to come back I would have tried YouTube, but then again if I was Phillip Schofield I wouldn't have done what he has done and that is leave a of destruction behind him, in essence if I am in a good place? I would have done everything in my power to stay away and find anything else to do.

Well that is the niceties out of the way with; I also have to talk about Channel 5 for giving Schofield this platform and opportunity, I do hope they do realise that they are putting their head in the noose as well as Schofield, if any and I do mean any backlash which there will be plenty of it heading their way. I believe that Channel 5 are exploiting/being essentially vultures to this situation, picking apart this caucus to find any meaty/media substance left.

Schofield and Channel 5 have literally set up this situation/program to epically fail, I mean the concept of this program is; at best argumentative and at worst a complete dumpster fire waiting just to be lit; if you haven't seen the commercial for it; as the title would suggest it is just Schofield on his own on an island with a camera; where he is free to say whatever he likes without being challenged and yes I have seen the commercial which goes on for about 30 seconds or less.

Where he does bring up "I know what I did was unwise, but is it enough to completely destroy someone?" So from the very beginning he is asking for forgiveness and playing the victim. Which I can easily answer that question for you Schofield; you were the one in complete control of every situation around you; you knew you were gay, yet you still got married to a woman. You didn't think about anyone but yourself, you have met this person when they were at school, even though many years later you exploited your situation to basically have your cake and eat it by this time this young man was of legal age and he was very much in love with you, I mean let's be completely honest here mixed with opinion/speculation; it would probably still be happening if you didn't get caught.

So you talk about destroying somebody; how about that young man that will now watched this absolutely turd show having to basically relive it as it resurfaces in the news cycles? How about your family that likewise will have to relive it and read about it and see it in the newspapers, having to deal with people probably asking questions and so on and so forth; but as long as you get your side of the story out that is all what matters is in it? I hope the money that you are getting paid from Channel 5 is going to be worth it, well they may as well just pay it directly to your counsellor, because you’re just going to run the risk of potentially putting yourself back in counselling anyway. I mean I would really love to use a very bad word about now but I can't because I started many years ago creating content in one way or another and I said no bad language, yes I can use censored or/and softer wording but as of this content being created it would be unwise for me to use the word, even a censored wording but as I have already shown I can use the word turd, so I will stick with that. You are nothing but a selfish turd I mean if you really, really wanted to get your side of the story out, I would have stayed away from TV and written a book about it.

This is just a terrible idea for Phillip Schofield and Channel 5; the British public have already started talking about this as I have seen the comments underneath commercial and in summary they have a similar outlook on my own with the added inclusion of basically so are they going to do Huw Edwards next? [If you don't know what he has done I will leave a link at the top of this content.] This is not going to end well for Schofield, Channel 5 or anyone else surrounding this situation, this is one of those rare occasions where I hope someone is going to lose their job for bringing forward this idea and I know it is never good for some to lose their job, but in this case I will make an exception.

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/transformation/birth/decay/drugs/disfigurement/self harm/vehicle crash/bodily functions/animal cruelty/medical.I will make references to this again at some point or/and points, but when this film starts to go to a dark place it doesn't look back; it very much just keeps going and going.

What would you do for another another life?; For a timeshare of just 7 days: basically; we meet Elisabeth Sparkle [Demi Moore:] that works for this TV network on her own aerobics TV show called I believe Sparkle with Elizabeth, but just to cover my back I could be slightly wrong about this TV program name. But she is turning 50 years old and has shelf life is coming to an end [ I am not the one saying that by the way; it is just being indicated;] when she was much younger used to get job opportunities leading to Academy Awards which she won, but not so much these days. She even goes to talk to her network boss Harvey [Dennis Quaid:] he is a network boss which comes across as a fat cat, arrogant posterior [fantastic usage of the close-up cameras shots to put this across that he is arrogant and a posterior as to also illustrate he needs to take up the hole camera shot and/or later on he is also a pig as well,] but has already told someone on the phone that Elisabeth needs to be replaced with somebody younger. Elizabeth has already overheard this, because she was somewhere where she needed to be, but shouldn't have been. Elizabeth gets given the choice to try "The Substance" which she takes and creates Sue; Sue [Margaret Qualley:] is another version of Elizabeth Sparkle but just younger.

Generally speaking: let's begin at the beginning; script; without giving too much away, it is of the outlay of social commentary, as any woman knows when they reach a certain age, they feel from its broad perspective invisible and this title explores what that could entail. I should quickly highlight broadly speaking I treat every woman the same be used 16 or 80 or whatever and I find it very sad that we treat women from 16 to whatever age different and just for the record under UK law 16 -year-old are allowed to legally have sex. This title makes its point very clear as the younger body Sue gets treated much more differently than the older Elisabeth Sparkle, as men are very interested in giving her job opportunities or dating or other, but in context of this content; Demi Moore at the age of 61 is still gorgeous and I would prefer dating her, no disrespect intended to Margaret Qualley. But I digress I know Elizabeth gets interest or job opportunities, but they are few and far between, but I do like how they make it gush back on the society that in essence created the pressure, which created them so they in a way spit, okay graphically spit/gush back at the society that created them [if this made very little sense; if or when you go to see this film; this will make perfect sense eventually.]

Framework, pacing and art; this in itself is one of those that just needed to be always moving at a consistent pace for a film which is 141 minutes long; the art can be easily seen and felt; as for the vast majority of this film it can be summed up as a new era of filmmaking, vibrant but I do feel compelled to just highlight again when this film goes off into a dark place right towards the end of the film, it goes off into a dark place.

Character developments, performances and comedy; another component of social commentary is if you are not a good person and/or shallow as you get older but true vision of you through one way or another will show through, regardless of how much you try to run away from it. Elizabeth and Sue at some point don't like one another, so they deliberately infuriate each other . The performance of Moore, Qualley and Quaid for basically being in this case the perfect posterior; this is one of those situations where this is a good thing; deserve to receive plenty of at minimum positive nominees; excellent performances be it individually or/and together.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; I have decided to award this project another mark based on the performance, I know it gets a bit graphic towards the very latest stages of this film which I don't mind as I said multiple times to the person I watch some of this content with; okay you have made your point; let's just say it nails its point home, so if you have the stomach for it go and see this film at the cinema. This film already has some awards accredited to its name such as 3 Winners that includes Cannes Film Festival 2024 Best Screenplay Coralie Fargeat and 3 Nominees which includes from the same award summary/event Palme d'Or

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/terrorism/vehicle crashing/impaling/torture/burning/medical

Don't waste the rubber of your tires to purchase this film: briefly; Matt Turner [Liam Neeson:] he works for Nanite Capital has a financier in Germany, with his family. But he is very wrapped up in his own world. On this day he takes his children to school Zach Turner [Jack Champion:] he is the eldest son, who wanted to bunk off school to see his girlfriend. Emily Turner [Lilly Aspell:] she is the youngest daughter. Mat receives a mysterious phone call that informs him; if he doesn't do everything he is told, there is a bomb underneath his seat.

Generally speaking: the script is essentially something straightforward, but it's execution is goddam horrible, from the framework and pacing which this film is just 90 minutes long, which I find to be surprising. Based on it feels so much longer like if somebody told me it was comfortably over 120 minutes long I would have no problem believing that. On top of that we have these slanted camera shots now and again, which is meant to generate drama as they are close-up. Off the top of my head how this camera shot was perfectly used was in Mission Impossible 1996; you see here they were designed to be used as espionage as if the camera shots represented us carefully being observers. But back to this film it is a half posterior attempt as I have already referenced to generate some form of emotions and drama, which as you can probably guess by now it epically failed.

Action; I know it has its limitations based on we are in vehicles [that is putting the Fast & Furious franchise to one side,] but at least make them consistently solidly good. I mean the only sequence which I can say it stood out was the final action sequence; but I can't tell you much about that, because that would be giving too much of the film away.

Character developments and performances; as I have previously stated in this content that camera shots did nothing positive to the characters, in fact it had the opposite effect whenever it was used. But even when it wasn't being used, these characters where and are very generic character types. Yet again the only one that really tried and succeed to make their character more rounded and likeable was Lilly Aspell as Emily Turner.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; yes there may be some positives, but there just isn't enough to tip the scales, don't get me wrong if there are any Liam Neeson fans out there? Take a look at this film, but I would really scaled-back your expectations, we have one extra sound effect over the ending credits such as news reports of what actually happened to conclude the film. This film also has 1 award accredited to its name; 1 Nominee Golden Trailer Awards 2024 Golden Fleece Golden Fleece.

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/suicide/vehicle crash/burning/man on women violence/miscarriage/torture/electrocution/medical/references to racism and sexual assault.

Set in 2002: briefly; after this retired NFL football player is found dead; this Doctor: Dr. Bennet Omalu [Will Smith:] he is a forensic pathologis, amongst other avenues, who works in the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in the coroner's office, he does the autopsy and wondered why a healthy 50-year-old should die; this is their story.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 123 minutes film is good; it uses a very straightforward outlay as it has a story to tell and gets on with it.

Character developments and performances; on both counts they are all good, but the performance of Smith as Dr. Omalu has to be given high praise indeed, as Smith gives this subject matter though upmost respect and who he is embodying, I don't know this Doctor in the slightest. I knew there was a guy that was a guy investigating essentially concussions in football which for me is a no-brainer; really you have these giant man colliding together yes in protective gear but still colliding together and you don't expect to have some kind of physical or mental [including brain injuries in consistent cases, I am fully aware it happens in other sports or simulated combat sport such as wrestling; but I digress] and then later on we have a supporting role from  Dr. Julian Bailes [Alec Baldwin:] he is/was a long-term doctor for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he puts his history and reputation on the line to support Dr. Omalu; this performance from Baldwin is excellent as he offers so much, because he knows this world of the NFL, agrees with Dr. Omalu so we have this balancing out chemistry between these two characters/performers.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; let me put things this way if you are a fan of Smith and/or Alec Baldwin or a fan of the NFL take a look at this film. But let's be brutally honest yet incredibly fair I like the NFL, but this film does not and I repeat does not show the NFL in the greater light. This film also has Awards accredited to its name such as 4 Winners that includes Hollywood Film Awards 2015 Hollywood Film Award Actor of the Year Will Smith and Palm Springs International Film Festival 2016 Directors to Watch Peter Landesman. 16 Nominees BET Awards 2016 BET Award Best Movie and Black Reel Awards 2016 Black Reel Outstanding Supporting Actress, Motion Picture Gugu Mbatha-Raw [as Prema Mutiso:] she is taken in by Dr. Omalu so she can find her feet in the United States of America.

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/suicide/drowning/references to homosexuality, racism and sexual assault

The Devil of the Chronicle: basically; we meet Jimmy Erskine [Ian McKellen:] he is the Chief of Drama at the tabloid known as The Daily Chronicle; where he critiques Theatre productions in London; his opinion/words carry a lot of weight and he is all so a practising homosexual which in 1937 is illegal. So after being caught practising his sexuality, he is terminated from his position at The Daily Chronicle by David Brooke [Mark Strong:] he has taken over from his father running the tabloid and looking to push out the old guard of the tabloid. So Erskine decides to take what he has learned from the world of theatre and use it in the real world; he knows of this leading lady Nina Land [Gemma Arterlton:] this state performer has been unmercifully criticised by Erskine for a decade, she agrees to walk with him, because in return his glowing words will open doors for her.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 101 minutes film is good; to begin with it is solidly good, after it finds its swing it does get quicker.

Art; the wardrobe, set designs and so on and so forth are smartly executed to bring this period in time to live.

Character developments and performances; the character developments are good versions of what they are meant to be, but now for a little bit more substance into this content. It is all down to this cast; to give this period drama life; throughout there is good chemistry; spearheaded by McKellen [when this film was first released he was roughly 84 years old, but now 85 years old as of this content:] with his performance he clearly shows that even at his advanced stage of life, he can still pull out these masterful performance as Erskine; he is the puppet master; if he wants something from you is; you are his puppet and real life is his stage.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; if you are a fan of McKellen you must see this film preferably in the cinema. I am just extremely disappointed that when this content was first created there is no signs of accredited awards which as I have just illustrated is extremely disappointing. On a quick side note: I hope Sir Ian McKellen is back to full strength nowadays, because he was in the theatre production of Player Kings earlier this year as John Falstaff, in fact I had tickets to see him perform, but however days before this performance he accidentally fell off stage whilst performing [don't worry he is still with us and made a speedy recovery] but he was advised to take some time off and just for the record yes I still went to the show and yes if you are into Shakespeare this too is  worth a watch as it is based on Henry IV Part I and Part II.

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/torture/hanging/drugs/suffocation/dismemberment/burning/man on woman violence/references to capital punishment, German dictator and sexism.

13 months later: basically; there is this copycat committing these murders and Inspector Mary Jane "M.J." Monahan [Holly Hunter:] she is in charge of this case with her partner Inspector Reuben Goetz [Dermot Mulroney:] that believes in shoot to kill/death. They go to Dr. Helen Hudson [Sigourney Weaver:] a doctor in criminal psychologist that 13 months previous went through an horrific situation, consequently is now agoraphobic, but agrees to help them.

Generally speaking: the script and character developments; well to be brutally honest but ultimately fair it doesn't help that this film goes on for 123 minutes and roughly around the 48th minute mark we are spoonfed the identity of the criminal, I mean what the hell, the framework and pacing isn't the most quickest either I mean it is progressive and not forgetting the whiff of very clear sexism towards Inspector Monahan for being in predominately a male oriented position and I know, I know this was the 1990's for you, which I lived through once. But even by its standards it was a little bit much, I am glad that the more we get through this film it fades away more and more until it isn't there.

Action; there are guns and medical procedures

Character developments and performances; the characters developments are for most parts good, but yet again let's be brutally honest the success of this film completely relies on Weaver and/or Hunter on both counts individually they are highly intelligent knowing their fields, but one being ultimately changed by completely understandable experience and the other believing in disarming and excellent at her job; but to give they want to solve this case; they make an excellent team and if I haven't made this crystal clear already allow me to say this was 100% clarity they are the driving force behind this project.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; it is a solidly good film; that if you are into this kind of thing; is worth a watch especially if you are a fan of individually or together Weaver and/or Hunter; there is this extra ongoing scene in the first ending credits. This film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 2 Winners; Cognac Festival du Film Policier 1996 Special Mention Sigourney Weaver Holly Hunter For their acting performance and from the same award sound only/event Audience Award Jon Amiel. 1Nominee Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 1996 Saturn Award Best Music Christopher Young.

Johnny English Strikes Again 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Johnny English Strikes Again 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/choking/medical/references to Russia and sexism

MI7 is under a cyber attack: briefly; they have to bring somebody that wasn't on their system Agent Johnny English/other name [Rowan Atkinson:] an veteran but retired MI7 agent which is now turned into an apparently geography teacher; I say apparently because he looks to be training the agents of tomorrow, we also have Agent Angus Bough/other name [Ben Miller;] he is an MI7 agent teaming up with Agent English again after so many years part [in a film franchise sense;] these two agents will solve the case.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 89 minutes film is not problematic; it is straightforward and just get on with it.

Comedy, action, art, character developments and performances; well let's talk about the positives first; the virtual reality yet reality sequence of events is highly engaging from beginning to end; basically Agent English goes into virtual reality; but does not activate the safeguard so whatever he does in  virtual reality has some level of consequences in reality for a little example using these long bread rolls as lethal weapons or this long dance sequence when Agent English has taken something or much later on he climbs up using this like this Iron Man type of equipment. The  virtual reality and dancing sequence showed all round good artistic visions.

But now we come to the negatives; for some strange reason and I regard this to be 100% stupidity. Now we know Agent English is old, but do we really have to make it obvious and I mean painfully obvious; it could range from him wanting to use out of date equipment such as a gun or a vehicle which is not environmentally friendly or having females able to be spies or/and captains and I don't have a nut allergy, but when he talks to this individual and cuts him off about the paperwork; I am not being woken or/and a snowflake here, but considering people have died from nut allergies; it is one of those brief seconds where you go and suck in air through your teeth; to go basically not cool. I mean we get it you are old you don't have to be tone deaf as well, I know we have Agent Bough justifying some of Agent English's things in what he says; but yet again it just compounds the painful elements of this sequel and the performances are what they are; meaning if this is what they wanted; well done you hit the jackpot.

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; full disclosure originally I gave it is something a little bit higher, but on reflection this sequel as you can tell from this content it is comfortably worse than its predecessor as it deliberately and knowingly really goes after the fish out of water; Agent English is old thing. Well that is the end of this franchise or is it? Well I have seen little bits and pieces suggesting that they may be working on another instalment to be released at some point in the future and won't that be fun? Not! This film also has an award accredited to it 1 Winner British Film Designers Guild Awards 2018 BFDG Award Best Production Design International Studio Feature – Contemporary Simon Bowles (Production Designer) Ben Collins (Supervising Art Director) Liz Griffiths (Set Decorator)

The Gladiator 1986 by AverageMansReviews

 The Gladiator 1986 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/medical/shooting/reference to drugs

This film is so from the 1980's: briefly; Rick Benton/The Gladiator [Ken Wahl:] he is an excellent mechanic, but after he wakes up after a coma in hospital after a vehicle collision; he wakes up to find out that his brother is dead and slowly but surely decides to take care of business, he also meets Susan Neville [Nancy Allen:] she has problems with her vehicle and she is a radio presenter of the show called "Hot Spot."

Generally speaking: the script; briefly it has its own problem, but I will discuss that more later on but still briefly, the framework and pacing of this 94 minutes film is as I have already indicated very much from the 1980's style of filmmaking which includes but not limited to background music which is clearly there are specially when we have the bad character present on-screen and something like The A-Team [1983-1987] style of alterations sequence; but I should also point out I am talking about the basic equivalent far from the legendary standard of The A-Team and to be brutally honest I was struggling to keep awake whilst watching this film.

Action and art; we have the action coming from the seats of these vehicles and of course; their adaptions and weapon systems; these are the positive aspects of this title; you know they look a bit old; but the imagination is still there

Character developments and performances; they are on both counts; reliable versions of what they are meant to be with solid performances to bring them to life.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; as I have already referenced it has a good concept behind it and yes I know it is a generic one of a vigilante seeking revenge. But the execution; now I would usually sugarcoat this a little bit by saying a word poor, but what with this film having a really without giving too much away a really unsatisfying conclusion, I am going to say this film is garbage; I know it is a TV film meaning a film made for TV, but there is no excuse for the conclusion style/type of this film; so if you want to watch this film just to see how bad is, then go ahead, but just keep my mark in mind as it is a true reflection of this film.

Average Extra of: Huw Edwards gets handed a six-month suspended prison sentence for handling under age material in 2024 by AverageMansReviews

Average Extra of: Huw Edwards gets handed a six-month suspended prison sentence for handling under age material in 2024 by AverageMansReviews

Heavy Warning: I should begin by saying that I don't particularly want to produce this content not to protect Huw Edwards; Hell No not in the slightest, but just based on I will be saying things that are incredibly uncomfortable, even though I will be toning it down a bit, this is just because I have to be mindful of the ages that may or may not be viewing my  content and in this case, I shouldn't really have to give warning about the potential of my language changing now and again, but here we go; there will be censored adult language references and I am not defending sexual deviants; this will make much better sense when you read the following content when this comes into effect I wanted to state that I am talking in theory which yes yet again may or may not result in practicality/eventuality

Real Talking Time:

Well this is just fudgin' wrong: with the evidence of material stacked against Edwards as in I'm going to say material of under age harmful activities, how can he just be given a six-month suspended sentence; just for the record I am very much aware that it is one rule for one and another set of rules for another. But I mean How? As in How did he get away with it? When it has been indicated at minimum there was more than enough evidence. This is a genuine question of how? How can it be justified?

Look we have people serving years in prison for what they have been putting on social media which at most they should be serving in my opinion six months, before people get on my case I have experienced and seen unpleasantness being spread on social media, but then again if we are going to put people in prison for this, shouldn't we be sending our politicians in prison as well for spreading misinformation, instigating situations such as hateful and frankly abusing their position. My point clearly is; compared to what Edwards has done these people shouldn't be seeing inside a prison cell any time soon.

I hope that the justice system is fully aware that they have now made a rod for their own back, because if I was a defence lawyer; defending sexual criminals I would be using this gross mis-justice as an excellent example of a template of how to get my client not to see inside a prison cell.

I mean I have experienced in hearing or seeing men that have done nothing wrong going through the degrading process of the justice system; just because another individual wanted to destroy them and yet they let Edwards out on a six-month suspended sentence.

Come on, give me a break and for those that are going to bring up his mental health I will say okay then, if it is his mental health; he should be given the choice of prison or sectioned for the next 5-10 years [I should point out before I get some form of backlash, if we could get him to serve 7 years, that would have been something not forgetting the overcrowding in prisons, based on how things are currently, don't misunderstand me I would have loved to give him 17 years without parole,] which would have taken him up to 80 years old. He can get the help he seemingly needs in that time. This entire case is what is wrong with the world today, because yes I have mental health issues and have done for years, but I have never, ever sought out under age material, I have said quite a few things wrong for one or multiple reasons including dealing with unsavoury characters online.

Here is a funny [obviously I am being sarcastic] aspects of this outcome; Edwards basically gets his life back, with his BBC pension [which on a little bit of research is £300,000 a year] and yet they still want people to pay the TV licence; there are multiple problems with this picture here I think.

I feel I should leave this content on this question; where is the justice for the victims and their families?

Heavy warning/Heavy disclaimer: I will be using adapted adult language at one point or another and I cannot stress this enough, I will be saying things that will be offensive to some including and unapologetically mocking. I will also be talking about in theory so I don't condone this outcome, but I will be discussing the escalation aspect and I want to go on record by saying that at some point in this content I will be strictly talking theoretical and in no way shape or form to I mean it to be carried out.

Well we are here again: the problem is based on what I have seen of the election build-up, Donald Trump just didn't or hasn't learned from the first assassination attempt on his life, I mean does everyone remember after the first attempt, he was humble for a little while and over time that has just slowly but surely vanished, he has just gone back to who he has always been a divide and conquer individual with his supporters; supporting him regardless of what he says and does. I mean I'm not as I have already illustrated condoning this situation, but then again there is an expression "If you don't learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it." I mean he hasn't toned down his language or/and just stuck to the facts of potentially running United States of America better then the current regime.

Before we even bring up that; that is now twice God has saved him, this is in a nutshell a stupid point to make, because if you open the door, you could have somebody like me saying well if that is the case surely it would be Satan keeping him alive to do his bidding on earth; that is why it is never a good idea to bring religious intervention into a logical discussion.

In theory there is nothing wrong with this situation; Trump used his First Amendment rights to express himself and consequently this individual used is Second Amendment rights to respond. Obviously back in reality there is a problem Trump is at best divisive and at worst toxic and when it is appropriate I have always indicated that the US Constitution is Second Amendment right to bear arms; is an outdated practice to put it politely, but then again this country that tells women if they can or cannot have an abortion which are five men and four women as of this content being first created which on a quick side note; what the fudge has this choice got to do with men anyway? Meaning we have perhaps a very little say into this topic anyway as it relates to a relationship situation basis, but not and I repeat not on a country basis, we talk about equality for women generally speaking and then this country happily shoot themselves in the foot and let's be honest they are very good at shooting themselves anyway.

My last point is a massive one; I will give some wisdom here; don't shoot Donald Trump, he isn't worth it and no I don't like the man, I don't respect the man, but however there is one thing I do want and that is not to see him turned into a martyr I mean at best he has probably a decade left of life, so he hasn't got long left, so let the sands of time have him, because that is a race no one wins; at the moment his place in history is just a bull manure salesman, why would you want him to be given the title of martyr? Because that way we would probably never forget him as he would probably also be in the modern history books of US Presidents which instead of being a footnote which he deserves, he would be given the title that would ensure his ego for eternity.
