Review Time

After this tragic mishap: basically; Dog Man/other characters [voiced by Peter Hastings:] he is a hybrid of his namesake, he protects and serves the people of Ohkay City; we get to witness and experience what happens for a short time in this location.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 89 minutes film is let's be honest very much like the art, comedy and action all very much quick paced, lively and ever so slightly off the wall; it is absolutely harmless, but it is very suitable for me to say; it is off the wall, what with appealing vibrant and captivating  art, with the comedy using the free-flowing nature to the comical such as for the older generations our lead character briefly playing some music to the old folks and one old folk for an office chair and much later on another character adapting John McClane's [Bruce Willis] quote Yippee-ki-yay mother lover: all I can suggest is their intention it gets used but as I have already indicated this sentiment and the speed pattern will be there but they have obviously this adapted it to fit in with this film and finally roughly around or just before the final quarter we have these robots doing battle basically like the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the sense of robots and collateral damage.

Character developments and voice performances; on both counts; they follow or/and become their characters such as voice performances, so at this moment in time theoretically and completely guessing here with a little bit of facts just looking this up; there are 10 main books and 4 spin-off, so 14 in total they could maybe make a sequel or/and safely a trilogy in film form; so as it relates back to this film; it is very much the foundation level of character work and simultaneously voice performance in print, but if they want to make any more films they will have to bring back this cast as they very much make these characters their very own

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; as I have already referenced in one way or another, this film is just harmless enthusiastic madness, as this project is built for yes young families, but it does have that universal appeal to all. There are extra little bits and pieces roughly around the closing credits, the only downside to this film is as of when this content was first created; this film doesn't have any awards accredited to its name being Winners or/and Nominations.

This film is all kinds of stupid: briefly; we meet Nathan Caine/other name [Jack Quaid:] he is an assistant manager at San Diego Trust Credit Union, he has the unique talent of feeling no pain to a certain extent we can still dying, but when his bank gets robbed he rides off to save the woman that he loves.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 110 minutes film is very much a mixed bag of basically something slow, finds its stride and let them like every aspect of this film collapses into a mess.

Character developments, action, comedy and art; when this film has warmed up all three of these components simultaneously come alive; well as this project very much wants under the premise of our lead character and take a pounding and for most parts keep on ticking, so for some examples he puts his hand in a deep fat fry trying to get a gun or much later on he unknowingly takes Replica Flail/Mace: to the back from the ceiling, I like to a certain extent some of these set-ups as they are set up with a certain level of originality. But now I have given some praise, I also now have to point out that/continued by saying suddenly this goes from being a positive to negative as the first thing that will hit you is the originality is replaced by the feeling of they are trying to hard now, which very quickly becomes tedious, monotonous and disinteresting.

Character developments and performances; well as I have already made reference to the character developments; giving away a crucial and important character development when you have roughly another 60 minutes to go; is very much and this is the nicest way I could think of to say it; it is very much shooting yourself in the foot really, actually on reflection this is when/where I began to slowly lose interest in this title and shortly after it became rapid after that, I can't tell you how stupid this particular turn of events is; it is just so lazy and annoying, consequently the character developments and performances became generic and consequently the performances felt a mixture between and going through the motions, but if that is what they were going for? Then they are sold versions of that.

This film receives: 3/10, this film is poor; well I would say that somewhere heading into the final quarter until it's conclusion everything just rolled downhill rapidly as it relates to its all-round quality, but then again this happened Critics Choice Super Awards 2025 CCA Super Award Best Actor in an Action Movie Jack Quaid

There will be some censored adult language references in this content; yes it is very rare I do this as it relates to rating content, but in this case; by doing this I am trying to make the content shorter in theory, because man we have a lot to get through and on top of that at some point I am not in the slightest being actively racist, but I am allowed to be observational.

15 years later Prince Adam returns to Eternos: briefly; Prince Adam/Adam Glenn/He-Man [Younger: Artie Wilkinson-Hunt/older: Nicholas Galitzine:] he/him returns to Eternos with the Sword of Power after this heavy chunk of exposition character developments on basically finding the sword; he gets assisted to go back to his native planet by  Teela [Younger: Eire Farrell/Older: Camila Mendes:] she is now Captain of the Royal Guards of Eternia and is the adopted daughter of Duncan/Man-At-Arm [Idris Elba:] he once was a proud heroic warrior/mechanic inventor and science, but nowadays is a drunk. Prince Adam gets to see first-hand what devastation Keldor/Skeletor [Jared Leto:] he is a incredibly powerful warlock which has ruled this planet will a fist of a tyrant and villainess anger as he searches for this sword.

Generally speaking: I'm not going to lie we honestly have so much to cover; it is ridiculous so let's start with the storyline/script; it feels like it has been written by a 16-year-old boy either drinking too much alcohol or smoking too much marijuana or quite possibly both at the same time that has also recently found masturbation on whatever level that the film has positive there is so much negativity to quickly bring down as you will see throughout this content after a while you just come up with one question of; basically what the hell were they thinking? The framework and pacing of this roughly 140 minutes film is good, because we have so much to get through and it really does help when the music has been done by Brian May [Queen; guitarist: as the person I watch some others contend with pointed that out to me.]

Art, action and comedy; look art as it relates to landscapes and scenery such as Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain and other locational places or costume designs minus He-Man, Cringer/Battle Cat [Younger voiced by: Fletcher Glenn/Older: Tom Wilton:] he is Prince Adam's best friend and He-Man's right-hand ally against the forces of evil; fully grown Cringer doesn't exactly move the most fluently or when Prince Adam first touches him: or anything to do with Skeletor is a big fat no from me; but other than that they are absolutely fantastic.

The action is for me very hit or miss; the conflict sequences are very hit minus the juvenile commonly references as it relates to fist or/and head or pretty much any reference to the use; I mean once is fine, but as it relates to fist it really does get boring after a while, also do we have to remind the viewers how dumb stupid He-Man is because not only as an action, comedy but also character developments this is pretty much all horse manure really and no surprise I will be bringing up this again soon; but for now I digress; the very hard-hitting indicated by stop sequence like knockout punches by He-Man on Skeletor are very cheap and tacky and uninspiring and the best bit of comedy; in this film by some distance is when we have Cringer doing the job of the MGM Leo the Lion and Cringer does have other comical bits and pieces.

Character developments, performances and voice performances; well I am going to give you one more warning to start off with; this is where in this content is going to get really uncomfortable actually I have just realised from here on in this content is probably actually I lie with 100% certainty going to trigger most of you out there in Internet land.

So let's begin with the elephant in the room; this film is woke, I don't care what anyone has to say it is woke, but conveniently yet again not using equality strange.... That isn't it? The female characters are how you expect them to be with well rounded versions of what they are meant to be with yet again conveniently got their business altogether and giving it boss babe energy.

Meanwhile we have key male characters that are flawed or very poor versions of what they are meant to be and the uncomfortable truth again by definition culturally appropriated [I hasten to add; I don't have a problem with this, but the fact is; this film made it a problem, because as I have just indicated the female characters are as you expect them to be, so consequently it sticks out like a sore thumb; so yet again consequently by their own actions I am not actually being racist or racial, I am being observational, again consequently I am not being racial or racist.]

Prince Adam/Adam Glenn/He-Man; as I referenced earlier man he is so dumb it hurts, including but not limited to Prince Adam and He-Man not being seen as separate characters, but then again the writer torpedoed that concept as soon as Prince Adam went through his metamorphosis into He-Man in front of a good selection of characters and then repeatedly have characters referred to him as Adam and the cherry on top of this manure cake just to nail it home how dumb he is; they made reference to why does he have to go and change in secret when we all know he is He-Man and the answer is; to just let him do his thing; so basically they have completely undermine and buried He-Man even before the ending credits.

But then again deep down we already know that the damage had been done way before then anyway, with his virtual signalling horse manure and at no point does Prince Adam/He-Man grew into the ideals of what He-Man should be even with his HR training from his time on earth, in fact when it comes down to which this version shows he is no better than Skeletor; so in essence this may look something like He-Man but in no way shape or form is it he; that is why I made reference to in the art bit minus He-Man; because in theory yes he may have the costume on, but he doesn't wear it or become it; in fact he may as well be a little boy with way too much power and responsibility; but doesn't know how to deal with either responsibly.

Keldor/Skeletor; well as I was already deeply concerned about this interpretation as I made individual content on it; to be brutally honest yet fair this interpretation is by am far the worst interpretation I have ever seen and yes I have even seen The New Adventures of He-Man 1990-1991; 1 Season; 65 Episodes, but I digress; every time he opens his mouth, he just reminds me this is not Skeletor in the way he speaks, unnecessarily trying to be funny, don't get me wrong Skeletor is/can be funny, but and this is a massive but which they completely missed, was his comedic timing it was always spot on an authentically natural, but this interpretation feel so contrived, uninspiring and nauseating; he just isn't nowhere near the standard of Skeletor it is that simple and this entire image needs to go as well whilst we're on the subject.

James Purefoy as King Randor, the ruler of the Eternian kingdom of Eternos alongside his Queen; Queen Marlena [Charlotte Riley:] she is an ex-astronaut from Earth that rules alongside her husband and is the mother of Prince Adam and another: but this interpretation of King Randor sucks lemons; he would be disappointed in Prince Adam yes, but never like this and on top of that what they decided to do with him in this movie is also insufferably dumb.

Duncan/Man-At-Arm; I don't mind Duncan being drunk or let's put it more kinder a recovering alcoholic; they obviously went with the concept of making him a high-ranking long-term soldier, that took it incredibly hard when things went side with and by taking this route; they wanted to give him more of a authentic real edge would makes him more three-dimensional other than just being this virtuous intelligent character; we get knocked down we get back up again; moving on, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man; another heroic warrior for the forces of good and known for very powerful head-butts  and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops; one of Skeletor's minions while known for having a turning optical vision system depending on the task is depending what optical vision system he will use, this interpretation is a Bounty Hunter/Sniper based on those skills I have mentioned, but broadly speaking he can also be a scientist type of character as well.

Before I continue I'm going to make this crystal clear; yes I have gone on record saying that unless it is a cultural character or a character such as gender required such as Batman then pretty much it is open to interpretation, but then again I don't think I have ever been in a position where such as this; where it clearly sticks out that these female characters have been perfectly designed in every way shape or form yet the male characters by comparison are problematic, I have just remembered the thing that comes close is the entirety of Marvel's/Netflix's Iron Fist [2017-2018:2 Seasons; 23 Episodes.] But as it relates to this film I feel really sorry for these three characters in particular, because it does feel like they have been hanging out to dry, because this film isn't that good and then on top you have this; I mean I have already seen one person make a reference to black appropriation and Zhang is Asian-British so I'm guessing here sooner or later people are going to have a problem with that as well.

I don't have a problem with this as I keep referring to, but it would be stupid of me not to point out or discuss this thing that sticks out like a sore thumb and just for the record these three put in good performances; we could have done with more Tri-Klops in this movie, but that's by the by.

So the performances and voice performances; on the whole range from let's be completely honest here, minus the character developments I really have problems with which conveniently equal to some absolute steaming pile of horse manure performances, the character developments, performances and a voice performances of those that; really took what was given to them and ran with it and strangely enough made these characters/interpretations and versions their very own; put in very good performances.

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; I would have given something slightly higher if in short Prince Adam/Adam Glenn/He-Man and/or Keldor/Skeletor weren't complete and utter dog's diarrhoea; I will make a bold statement right here and right now both performers should have never been given these roles, I mean the person I go to watch some of this content with, by comparison really wouldn’t have minded Patrick Stewart as the voice of Skeletor, I mean if they were going to go this way I say why not at least Stewart would have given this role some depth and very much needed class and sophistication, I also need to point out this person minus Skeletor was actually a good movie. But one thing is for certain they are going to absolutely transparently clear... they are without question going to clean up at the Razzie Award when they roll around and other negative award events/ceremonies and there are some colourful ending credits, with two extra scenes to watch out for and I have just realised I have failed at my attempts to keep this content short or at minimum less; so if you have read the entire content; well done, thank you it is really appreciated.

Sent on a quest: briefly; Prince Adam/other characters [voiced by: John Erwin] and Cringer/other characters [voiced by: Alan Oppenheimer:] get sent on this quest to this world known as Etheria, to find this righteous protector and deliver to them; this Sword of Protection [which is very similar to Prince Adam/He-Man's Power Sword or to keep both sets of fans happy and Sword of Grayskull,] but for physically one difference it has a jewel just above the crossbar; this Sword will take our two adventurers to this individual in question. But as always if they get into any trouble they can always call upon He-Man and Battle Cat, which is a good thing because they will come face-to-face with Force Captain Adora/other names/other characters [voiced by: Melendy Britt:] she is Force Captain of The Horde and they answer to Hordak/other character [voiced by: George DiCenzo:] he is their leader on Etheria and he is a cyborg with the ability to shape shift/transform into different things such as a rocket.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script, character developments, framework and pacing and other aspects of this 87 minutes film; it is throughout well explored and explained; there was no waste of time in this movie every moment mean something little or a large it doesn't matter things just keep on rolling on.

Art, action, comedy character developments and voice performances; now of course as this project is based on 1980's cartoons standard the visual representation is faultless as every location has been given its sense of importance; such as obviously Castle Grayskull looks majestic or later on Snake Mountain looks it is horrifying best or/and from time to time throughout our adventure He-Man being captured and chained or something else; basically what I am trying to put over is; every location looks busy with a highly detailed bits and pieces or things going on and yes likewise the action sequences are phenomenally entertaining and exciting and yes for those people that haven't seen this movie and are from my generation slightly younger or older; we do have He-Man's infamous punch routine: where for those people they don't know; it looks like he is punching through the TV screen, but he is punching something in the scene; it really does give a all-round immersive experience, as it relates to the action everyone looks fantastic as everyone involved in gets a little something in so towards the later stages of the project, we have this massive conflict sequence; it goes out all guns blazing and for the comedy we have this comical moment where broadly speaking this familiar character can't believe that there is now female He-Man and it is the worst day of his life [for those really sensitive people out there; in no way shape or form is this deemed as any form of sexism, on the contrary; it just highlights equality as in there are now two of them and regardless of gender, you thought one was bad, there is now two of them] I am just on reflection realise why this character saying this in his own way, he puts over and gives her the rub to stand on her own 2 feet.

As throughout this content the character developments as it relates to the storyline/script or the comedy or character developments are all encompassing to create really a layered characters with fantastic back stories and it goes without saying but I still need to say it; these voice performances are of things of legacy performances, they are all of once-in-a-lifetime never to be repeated again, I am not disrespecting anyone that has ever worked on another connecting interpretation universe of characters, I was simply saying for here and now in the 1980's this array of talent is perfection and shouldn't be tempted to be repeated, but just enjoy it for what they should be and that is the standard bearers of these characters and their versions of these characters.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it really does cover everything that you want or/and expect from this integral film it will between He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and/or She-Ra: Princess of Power and their two worlds and everything else in the middle. They really don't make projects like this anymore and I feel sorry for the future generations, not to learn that in one way or another we can balance each other out, so obviously I am going to say that everyone needs to see this film once at minimum in your lifetime for sure.

Dimension Earth-616 "With great power comes great responsibility": basically; Peter Parker/other character [Tobey Maguire:] is a student at high school; by the name of Midtown High School; he is very intelligent he is into science and all of that kind of thing. But when he gets bitten by a spider which has been scientifically experimented on, his life gets turned upside down. At first he takes up professional wrestling taking on Bonesaw McGraw [Randy Savage:] he is the main promotion champion of the NYWL; yes Savage is that legendary wrestler which is sadly no longer with us; with Bruce Campbell as the Ring Announcer. Because Parker/other character doesn't get paid he allows this criminal to run free, he finds out that Ben Parker/Uncle Ben [Cliff Robertson:] that is one half of Peter's parents that have brought him out. This son/grandson and dad/grandad had one last very difficult conversation before this incident; Robinson is certainly also no longer with us; where Uncle Ben has been killed and now Peter/other character is now seeking revenge. RIP Randy Mario Poffo/Randy Savage/"Macho Man" Randy Savage 1952-2011 and RIP Cliff Robertson 1923-2011: yes you may have both gone but you have played a small part in a much bigger universe of Marvel/Marvel Cinematic Universe; so you will never be forgotten.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 121 minutes film is good; I mean and I don't mean this disrespectful, but this script is very much the old and reliable origin story of Peter Parker/other character, like I have just said I don't mean this disrespectfully it is just at the same time there is no point going around and around the bush when just being honest about it is what is called for.

Character developments and performances; carrying on with this sentiment; the character versions reflect who they are meant to be at that time, but luckily enough as they say timing is everything; we were lucky to have Maguire, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson: basic description; Peter's next door neighbour, they go to the same school and love interest, James Franco as Harry Osborn: basic description; Peter's best friend, they go to the same school and son to Norman Osborn. With some older names; Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn/other character: basic description; he is a intelligent scientist/founder of Oscorp and the father of Harry Osborn. Dafoe is an integral part to this film as those of a younger age range are still finding their way in life is characters and growing into their character versions, you need somebody that is the driving force behind this title as you will see he manipulates chaos/brings chaos whenever he wants, Rosemary Harris as May Parker/Aunt May: basic description; is a loving wife to Ben Parker and loving auntie/mother to Peter Parker; she tries to be there for Peter with warmth, understanding and wisdom to create a nurturing environment. J. K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson: basic description; he runs the newspaper The Daily Bugle; he has a complicated relationship with this new protector on one hand he loves that he can sell lots of newspapers off this individual's name, yet on the other hand he thinks this individual is a menace and should be stopped. Simmons puts in a fantastically strong and legendary performance as this character, in fact everyone should know by now that he has made this character his very own to the point where they brought him back to put him officially in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the same can be said for Norman Osborn/Dafoe. So having all of these key roles covered by youth and/or experience amongst the entire cast of other characters/performers; makes a flawless cast would have been assembled.

Comedy, action and art; Peter has been misfiring of webbing which sticks to this food tray and consequently gets him originally into a spot of bother or now and again we have references to two DC characters; the first is Shazam! [I was thinking I would make reference to this one, because when it happens those that are into comic books and Marvel or/and DC will get the reference, but those that are not won't get the reference; as Peter tries to call on his webbing for the first time like Billy Batson called on Shazam! by saying Shazam,] whilst the other DC reference is basic common knowledge which yes I am aware that some still might not know, but when you hear it you will know it.

The action; really does a splendid job of Peter/other character dealing with street criminals, rescuing and really well and truly put the emphasis on Norman Osborne/other character and is evilness, which as they say you can only be as great as your opponents; which means here; because they made this character look strong and fully capable of setting out what he wanted to achieve; it makes Peter Parker/other character for his first time out dealing with a big fish in their own final confrontation is spotless and consequently established the new protector and visually it still looks great even though as it relates to its technical side of things it is showing its age a bit well as of this content it has been over two decades so they are holding up the test of time to a very good standard and for the costumes and accessories they haven't aged.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; this is one of those films that you need to see once in your lifetime, based on its this is what things were like just before the big explosion of the MCU in 2008; that they could still come out with high-quality films of this nature with staying faithful to the source material. There is some spiderwebs drawn around the ending credits and this should be no surprise, but this film has many awards accredited to its name such as; 17 Winners that includes BMI Film & TV Awards 2003 BMI Film Music Award Danny Elfman and MTV Movie + TV Awards 2003 MTV Movie Award Best Kiss Tobey Maguire Kirsten Dunst. 65 Nominees which includes Academy Awards, USA 2003 Oscars Best Sound Kevin O'Connell Greg P. Russell Ed Novick and Best Visual Effects John Dykstra Scott Stokdy kAnthony LaMolinara John Frazier

Review Time

Warning/just a heads up: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/drugs/suicide/cutting/stubbing/suffocating/torture/regeneration/breaking/hit and run/run over/drowning/dismemberment/disfigurement/feeding/transformation/feeding/animal cruelty/medical. I will be using one censored adult reference and I have to be honest I will be finding it difficult to control my mouth; but I will make up secondary content for this later on.

This reboot is Crow manure: briefly/roughly; Eric Draven/The Crow [Younger: as Eric Unknown performer/Older:Bill Skarsgård:] he is a mentally troubled individual that is in this rehab facility, he meets Shelley Webster [FKA Twigs:] she finds herself in some deep trouble and yet finds herself in this rehab facility with Eric; apparently they fall in love [later on in this content I will explain my wording of "apparently;"] they escape this facility and they die because of what Shelley has as evident, but Draven gets to come back and several score.

Generally speaking: well we know usually I break things down and talk about them, but in this case let's just say everything is wrong upon wrong, so yes this film goes on for roughly 111 minutes; it tries to an appalling standard to be dark and foreboding and I would say everything with the crows [please remember the plural here] and the same can be said for the underwater sequences as it relates to the art and action. But however that is now aware the positives stop. It will make much better sense if I bring up the action and art again later on, because everything about this reboot is heavily crippled [yes I am entitled to use this wording based on I am a lifetime disabled individual;] but I digress. This film is heavily crippled by the disastrous character versions and/or the performances of Draven and/or Webster; now allow me to give you a little life lesson for the younger generation; this is not love what this couple show; it is co-dependency/enableism and just having sex; so when this couple individually or together indicate just a willingness to keep things as they are because there is a good chance that no one will have them away they are; it feels very hollow and jarring based on the reasons I have just provided. So once you recognise this/means character dynamics it makes the entire film pointless even when there is a position swap deal put in place; you're still like why? There is nothing worth saving of this relationship, in fact it makes them look even smaller as if it's the only way I can win this game I will do it which is really immature in itself; individually or together these two are just not nice people and here is a nice heads up; we only get to see Draven as this version The Crow in its entirety for maybe the final 25 minutes.

Now back onto the action and art; I would have really liked let's just call it the massacre towards the closing stages of this project; but for one massive problem; there is this performance happening on stage whilst Draven/The Crow is taking care of business which really takes away from this chaotic action as on both counts but separately they aren't comedy, but together boy howdy you can't take this matter seriously with this performance happening as well; I know what they were trying to do, but it really was an epic fail. I mean in sequences of this nature to you know match the massacre with something elegant, all they had to do was put on just a classical instrumental performance.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; I mean based on the trailer I had seen going around in cinemas [if you want to know more read the linked content] with the person I watch some of the content with; I knew/we know it was going to be garbage, but basically I said this to the person; even I didn't expect how bad it was going to be and yes there are some good bits, but they get overshadowed by the overwhelming negatives and I hope never be another instalment of this franchise is specially with the performance of connected to this title.

You can't see me, no John Cena but we can hear you as the voice of Rocksteady: basically; 15 years later after this ooze goes down into the sewers it has changed the lives of a rat named Splinter [voiced by Jackie Chan:] a loving and incredibly protective parent/sensei to his four Turtle sons; Leonardo/other names [voiced by Nicolas Cantu:] a budding the leader to his three other brothers, Rafael [voiced by Brady Noon:] is the strongest and bravest, but is already starting to show signs of being the lone wolf out of his brothers, Donatello [voiced by Micah Abbey:] is the tech/science Turtle, but he doesn't have much belief in himself and his ability/skills and a finally we have Michelangelo/other name [voiced by Shamon Brown Jr.:] is the comical and warmhearted one out of four. They eventually make a friend by the name of April O'Neil/other name [voiced by Ayo Edebiri:] a student of Eastman High School [apologies if I have missspelt this location incorrectly, I just went with how it sounds;] but I digress she is a intelligent, determined and budding news reporter, that teams up with our four turtle to solve these strange goings-on.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 99 minutes film, well this is one of those computer animated film title that is fluently connected to the framework, pacing and the art.

I think because of both animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018 and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023, some people are beginning to wake up and realise if we don't come out with something individual and captivating we may as well pack our bags and head home. Partially and obviously it would be useful for this project to have a profit margin by the end of it, but currently it needs to do a lot of work to achieve that, but it is more important to stand out as its own artistic universe; Which it does that with great ease and comfort, as we have the outlay of basically a graphic novel, with a dark grungy undertone and presentation, but also being bright and vibrant. Because of this it gives the action sequences are licensed to be full of chaos and to incorporate the character developments and comedy of our four Turtle brothers, be it when they are being teenagers just performing chore going shopping for Splinter or/and trying to do a stupid stunt and recording it or/and trying to do the right thing, but they are very green [no I am not making reference to their appearance,] but this crime-fighting thing.

I really do hope that, they do come out with this sequel and a spin-off TV series [as I'm aware of things as of now Saturday 05/08/2023 they have both in development.] Because they have lots to work with here; maturing their characters; such as let's hope O'Neil physical reaction to being on camera or I hope they fill out Splinter's back story a bit, I don't mind a different interpretation and if they are going with it different interpretation I can understand why they aren't doing it just yet in this film. Because this film is the basic [I don't mean any disrespect,] but and this is just speculation on my part if they wanted or had the idea to do it trilogy if everything goes well. This film fulfils the beginning of in theory this trilogy.

The voice performances; they are all good with likewise good chemistry between this cast of voices, likewise as their characters need to grow, these voice performances to begin with show good potential and I would like/hope that in their contracts; they are coming back to do at minimum the sequel, so that they can grow and mould their versions of their characters.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; on reflection I couldn't give anything less. Because it clearly wants to create its own world interpretations, so I am willing to see what the sequel brings [I should just cover my back and say if we get one And this doesn't include the TV program as well, I say this so I am covered for any eventuality.] After the first lot of credit there is one extra sequence of events and yes this film also currently has 1 Winning Award to its name; Heartland Film 2023 Truly Moving Picture Truly Moving Picture Award Jeff Rowe (director) Kyler Spears (director)

There isn't much to say here: in a nutshell; a person walks into Ray's Occult Books his name is Nadeem Razmaadi/other name [Kumail Nanjiani:] he is a buyer and seller of many different things, in this case he wants to sell his recently deceased grandma's items in this box to Dr. Ray  Stantz [Dan Ackroyd:] a retired Ghostbuster, that owns and runs this book store, now including a presenting this Internet possibly YouTube channel [which this is where I have to apologise I have forgotten its name, I apologise for any inconvenience] with Podcast [Logan Kim:] he is into the supernatural things and he is an intern of Dr. Stantz; but let's get back to what we were talking about; this financial transaction takes place and that is when all of the major troubles begin.

Generally speaking: the script, the framework and the pacing are problematic to say at the very least as on the ground scheme of things there isn't much happening, there is a little bit here and a little bit there but as this film goes on for 115 minutes long you may as well fast-forward until maybe 45 minutes to the end, I will say this once more, just make sure I put it across that there are little bits here and little bits there happening now and again, but other than that not much.

Art, action and comedy; in no particular order [just in case they get the order slightly wrong] Phoebe Spengler [Mckenna Grace:] the youngest Ghostbuster that has unfortunately been benched for a very young age; thanks to Mayor Walter Peck [William Atherton:] as some of you will remember he tried to shut down the Ghostbusters in the 1980s but was not successful; she is plays chess with a new friend Melody [Emily Alyn Lind:] a young ghost of a similar age which had an unfortunate ending, later on the back story of this character as it relates to storytelling/visual telling where they use these small moving part within the art brings through its life and much later on when this film actually becomes a Ghostbusters film; the viewing audience has so much to see and experience, even with daring to be a little bit more dark in tone and as a theme of brief comedy we get to see Slimer being Slimer.

Character developments, performances and voice performances; the character developments; well there isn't much to talk about other than the paint by numbers approach and even this is wafer thin [other then finally Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz; as a quick reminder she was originally receptionist at the Ghostbusters headquarters; makes it into the Ghostbusters overalls which is about time to and it is well-deserved,] but I slightly digress; consequently the performances reflect these character developments and these voice performances do a solid job as well.

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; as I have already indicated it takes forever to get going and to look and feel like a Ghostbusters film consistently, but when it does this portion of the film is good, now full disclosure I have no idea what is coming down the line for this franchise so this is completely based on speculation/opinion. But after stating all of this I hope they don't end this part of the franchise on this film, because to be honest that would be a sad way for this franchise to go out, I would make the next project of this crossover thing going on the final instalment and get all of the Ghostbusters together, yes when I say all I mean including Ghostbusters 2016 and try and get Rick Moranis involved, don't get me wrong I can handle things coming to an end if it is that time coming, I just don't want this particular franchise which is always try to have an element of wholesomeness to it; to go out like this and very finally there is one ending credits scene after the first lot of credits.

Welcome to Summerville: we meet the Spengler family as they are going through a really difficult time at the moment; the intelligent and brightest member of this family would be Phoebe Spengler [Mckenna Grace:] she is a girl which is in double figures of age; whilst she is in this location, she finds out a lot more about her family and consequently herself; I just hope that nothing strange happens whilst this family is here, but who am I kidding they have the last name of Spengler so of course something will come out of somewhere. Whilst we are here we also meet this seismologist by the name of  Gary Grooberson [Paul Rudd:] which is also a disinterested Summer School Teacher, I say he is disinterested he has no interest in teaching anything, he is here for the paycheque, he is much more interested in the seismic activity of Summerville.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 124 minutes film is to begin with incredibly slow, but however it does feel like there is more to come from it: in fact I can confirm there is more to come from this film, so just bear with it as slowly but surely it shows more and more life is in a get up and go; enthusiastic nature.

Action, comedy and art; we have some of our young Ghostbusters chasing down Muncher across Summerville in a very familiar yet iconic vehicle known as either  Ecto-1 or the Ectomobile with a Proton Pack being used accidentally causing so much collateral damage in the process. Obviously I have to bring up Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man/Miniature Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men as regardless of their size they can still bring chaos and mischief.

Character developments, performances and boys performances; the character developments are excellent on all aspects; as one example Mini Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man/Mini Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men have been given a pinch of something like the retro videogame franchise Lemming; but with a twist of more intelligence and more violent towards one another; including but not limited to melting one another. The performances of his cast as it relates to the original generation and passing the torch onto the newest generation; is simple and smooth; as without giving too much away it is implied that these are the new generation, but when you least expect it the original will back them up, so there is excellent chemistry from the newest generation, the original generation and integrating between the generations, but a special mention has to go out to Mckenna Grace as Phoebe Spengler; she has been put in a leading position for a linchpin between the original and newest generation and for someone that at this point in history was roughly 14 years old; she flourishes as this character and in this position so I give her high praise indeed, because her role is why in my opinion this film is such a great success and the voice performances are good as well

This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; as I have already indicated it is slow to begin with, but it does feel like there is more to come; it does what it is designed to do and fit in nicely alongside the 1980's instalments of this franchise [Ghostbusters 1984 and Ghostbusters II 1989] and there are two ending credits scenes one at each section. This film also has some awards accredited to it; 1 Winner; Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2022 Saturn Award Best Performance by a Younger Actor/Actress Finn Wolfhard as Trevor Spengler: a teenager; which a grandson of PhD. Egon Spengler [archive footage; RIP Harold Ramis; 1944-2014,]The Ghost Farmer - Egon Spengler [Bob Gunton] and  Ghost Egon Spengler [Ivan Reitman; which if you don't know he is synonymous with this franchise as in one way or another he has been a part of this film franchise and its five films, but his roles may be slightly different from time to time, but sadly and likewise RIP Ivan Reitman 1946-2022, but he leaves the franchise in his son Jason very capable and trusted hands as Jason  Reitman hands; as they are both apart of the writing trio including Gil Kenan, but Jason is also a director for this instalment;]  Egon's daughter/Trevor's mother; Callie Spengler [Carrie Coon:] she is resentful at her father for up and leaving her and his business partners, but she doesn't know why and she is struggling to bring up her two children. 21 Nominees; that includes from the same award ceremony/event Best Fantasy Film, Best Supporting Actress Carrie Coon and Best Special Effects Sheena Duggal Alessandro Ongaro. Las Vegas Film Critics Society Awards 2021 Sierra Award Best Visual Effects and likewise from the same award ceremony/event Youth in Film - Female Mckenna Grace. But sadly all of these accredited awards are not positive Alliance of Women Film Journalists 2022 EDA Special Mention Award Sequel or Remake That Shouldn't Have Been Made.

5 years later; Who you gonna to call? He-Man!: Basically; Dana Barrett [Sigourney Weaver:] she is now working as a painter restoration at the  Manhattan Museum of Art in New York City more on that later, has now had a baby, his name is Oscar [Will Deutschendorf/William T. Deutschendorf &  Hank Deutschendorf/Henry J. Deutschendorf II,] after his mother experiences strange goings-on again, she needs the help of the Ghostbusters, it hasn't gone at all well for the Ghostbusters, but like the Phoenix the Ghostbusters will rise again as there is strange things happening and don't worry Janine Melnitz [Annie Potts:] she is the receptionist to the Ghostbusters, she is a strong woman that works hard, doesn't take any rubbish and knows what she wants as you will clearly get either the feeling or/and see it.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 108 minutes film is good as it uses lots of things happening, from time to time noticeably loud background music and a good old-fashioned style of a montage [yes indeed I pretty much cope and pasted this paragraph from its predecessor, but minus updating a little bit; to make this point of why change something that clearly worked the first time around and this will not be the only time I make some kind of comparison between the original and this sequel; I will say this one more time so I don't have to say it again unless of updating or/and progressing  things, why change something that was successful the first time around.]

Comedy, action and art; [this sequence is in two parts as in we have the first part and then go away to something else and then come back] Dr. Egon Spengler [Harold Ramis,] Dr. Stantz [Dan Ackroyd] and Dr. Peter Venkman [Bill Murray;] all wearing some level of protective gear to do some potentially messy investigation, but also it could be used as a disguise posing as people providing public maintenance/services; which will come in very handy as not once but twice, they will get interrupted by actual public service personnel, but our three Ghostbusters or nothing but resourcefuly as they try to play the role of the stereotype of public maintenance/servers individuals; as the second time around without giving too much away Dr. Stantz has been lowered down into this hole they had made with this apparatus so you can be lowered down to investigate and if need be take a sample; which he does take a sample of what he finds, he tells the other two to basically pull him up, but because they have their hands full with keeping this charade going; something begins to rise out of this predominantly pink slime and tries to grab Dr. Stantz; but luckily enough of the other two Ghostbusters hear him and begin to pull him out, but unfortunately Dr. Stantz doesn't exactly leave this location as he finds it actually be accidentally makes the entire current situation worse. Obviously I'm going to highlight the high level of imagination and creativity, yet again because of its high detail and vision yes they have aged a little bit, but you can still appreciate their concept, approach and execution of this sequence including every other sequence this film has to offer; including the usage of a very old lady; so likewise like its predecessor it will always look and feel as it will always meant to be even after I am long gone.

Character developments and performances; on both counts yet again they are flawless as I made reference to earlier it has been 5 years since we have seen these characters and things have moved on or/and developed; be it Dr. Spengler clearly showing some level of comedic understanding in his own fashion as to indicate that these characters have spent a lot of time together and other individuals characteristics have rubbed off on to him a little or as you can see Barrett has moved on to a different stage of her life and performances have fluent chemistry to them, so it doesn't matter if they are a returning character or a newcomer in Dr. Janosz Poha/Ghost nanny [Peter MacNicol:] he is an art restoration expert at the Manhattan Museum of Art in New York City, he is also Barrett's boss for now as she would like to get back to the orchestra now and son is older, he also comes over as slimy without the use of gunge towards her

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment, it is just new strange goings-on, yes we have a smaller extra sequence over the ending credits and other bits and pieces. This film also has awards accredited to it; 2 Winners BMI Film & TV Awards 1990 BMI Film Music Award BMI Film Music Award Randy Edelman and from the same award ceremony/event Most Performed Song from a Film L.A. On just experiencing their first paranormal encounter at  New York Public Library and also just being kicked of Columbia University: first we have; PhD. Ray Stantz [Created/Writer of this film & Ghostbusters II 1989; Dan Ackroyd:] he is a doctor in parapsychology and metallurgy, he is no more enthusiastic one about these kind of things and is the bank roll; to begin their new venture as Ghostbusters, PhD. Egon Spengler [Created/Writer of this film & Ghostbusters II 1989; Harold Ramis:] he is a doctor in parapsychology; PhD. Spengler the highly logical one that is not a people person; he is the equivalent of Mr. Spock in this franchise cost of characters, then we on to Dr. Peter Venkman/posing as another character [Bill Murray:] he is a doctor in both psychology and parapsychology, he is the one that is the businessman, comical and let's just class it as a slight confidence swagger/he doesn't like authority figures. Later on we also have  Winston Zeddemore [Ernie Hudson:] he need the job and he gets hired/welcomed to the team; he is the one that brings commonsense to the table and because of that he becomes a very valid member of the group. Eventually this newly found group will have a big squishy marshmallow problem on their hands amongst other things.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 105 minutes film is good as it uses lots of things happening, from time to time noticeably loud background music and a good old-fashioned style of a montage.

Art, action and comedy; the art is very clear to see and the attention to detail as to be highly commended, as yes you don't have all of that computer technology of today's standards [when this content was first dictated 2024,] but as I have already referenced if you put in this level of imagination, detail and so on and so forth; you get an authentic presentation around these characters and surrounding landscapes, they may look a bit worn but they still look excellent as of here and now they are roughly 40 years old and they will still look excellent long after I am no longer here; for a rough example, because I don't want to give too much away [yes I know people almost 4 decades to watch this film, but I still like to be cautious;] when we have this marshmallow climbing or attempting to climb up this apartment building and is met by our four Ghostbusters firing their proton packs at this character; the viewers get this masterful image of looking down/over at this sequence of events and not forgetting the comical outcome as well.

Character developments and performances; on both counts they are flawless as every character has a rich personality even Louis Tully/another character [Uncredited Writer for this film; Rick Moranis:] he is an accountant and a tax attorney, to put this politely he is a nerd, in some aspects he means well, but he is such a nerd and on top of that you get as viewers this cast of performers that regardless of size of the role they all contribute something of a high quality as in this is just a piece of life in New York City. Because I haven't really touched on other than a little bit here and a little bit there of the comedy; Dr Venkman is trying to deal with this situation as normally as he can as it relates to Dana Barrett/other character [Sigourney Weaver:] she is a violinist in the orchestra and after witnessing strange goings-on she goes to the Ghostbusters and becomes their first-ever climbed. But back in this scene; Dr. Venkman/posing as another character tries to talk to Barrett, but you can tell things aren't going that well for one tiny example she begins to levitate.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it is one of those films that you need to see once in a lifetime, there is ongoing sequence for out some of the ending credits. This film also has awards accredited to its name such as 8 Winners that includes BAFTA Awards 1985; Best Original Song Ray Parker Jr. For the song "Ghostbusters.” 9 Nominees that includes from the same award ceremony/event Best Special Visual Effects Richard Edlund
