Review Time: this is episode is good.

Character developments: I was thinking I would begin this review somewhere slightly differently, now in this episode we meet another new Decepticon collective collectively known as the Combaticons.

So I was wondering if I should just tell you the basics of the three collectives we have had introduced recently. So to begin we have the Stunticons, leader Motormaster and their collective transformation has the name of Menasor.

Moving on to the Aerialbots, commander/leader Silverbolt and their collective transformation has the name of Superion and finally we have the collective collectively known as the Combaticons  leader Onslaught and collectively their transformation has the name of Bruticus.

Now I could be wrong so I'm just going to say this is just speculation, but also mixed in with observation, it looks like back then they had a new merchandise line coming out based on all these new characters. I just want to say this again this is just speculation because I don't know.

Storyline/Comedy level: it is something solid and okay. There is a small element of comedy when Megatron slips over on some oil [a lot of oil.]

Action sequences: they are very good and they are the consistent positive to this episode.

This episode receives: 6/10, after everything is said and done this mark is the right conclusion. On a quick side note I should just point out [I can't remember if I have said this or not up to this point but either way] with these collective Transformers if they have a collective transformation and if one is missing from this collective they can still transform into their collective transformation, but consequently because one character is missing a part of their collective transformation will be missing also. The reason why I use word such as "collective" or "collectively" is because these characters that have been put in a collective or a part of a collective, individually brings something to the collective unit in one way or another.

Review Time: this is another episode which is lots of fun

Storyline: it is a continuation from the previous storyline.

Origin storyline/Action sequences: we have another new collective but this time for the Autobots being born in this episode collectively known as [the Aerialbots.] The action sequences are manic with great imagination as we have many characters on screen all over the place.

Character developments: there are four things I want to point out; depending on your interpretation/if you have young children or children there is an element of death in one way, but still living in another way. This will make much better sense when or if you choose to watch this episode, but I was just thinking I would give you a heads up to give you time to think of a way of how to explain this to your children and there is more there is another character that almost dies.

Now generally speaking at some points in this episode there is some friction between the Aerialbots and the Autobots and yes there is chemistry between these two collectives in this episode as well and on top of that we even have Megatron being disgruntled with Soundwave in this small scene.

This episode receives: 10/10, this is another episode which has lots to offer in an enthusiastic manner.

Review Time: this episode is lots of fun

Storyline: in short in one way or another we go from Earth to Cybertron, and back again

Artistic visions/Comedy level: now on both counts this element [you get to see twice in this episode covers both of these points,] but don't worry there are other examples for you to see and experience. When this Decepticon [Rumble] steals this racing car, by taking the driver out of his seat and Rumble just sitting on top of it and driving it away, this shows imagination and an origin of natural comedy because this character is way too big to sit in this racing car properly.

Origin storyline/Action sequences: a new collective of Decepticons is born collectively known as [the Stunticons,] they bring a unique wave of destruction to the table as they like to use themselves in transformed mode of a vehicle of some description, by using themselves to crash through buildings or land on something or anything other you can think of; as long as they use themselves in any way they are cool with that.

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode has a lot to offer, but on a quick side note and I will not be taking any marks off for this; just based on observation I find it strange that these human characters cannot tell the difference between the Autobots and the Decepticons, I mean the insignias are an obvious giveaway.

Review Time: this is another mixed episode

Storyline: the Autobots storyline for the majority of this episode is boring it gets better in the closing stages, but the only thing that keeps this episode going from beginning to end is the Decepticons in whatever they are doing or saying in this episode, how editing is done and this reel of film.

Character developments: the Decepticons are a colossal asset throughout this episode be it Megatron being angry with his Decepticons [here are three examples; Megatron being verbally or physical with Starscream and verbally with Rumble.] There is also an Autobot acting out of character as well [Hoist] this is good as well.

Action sequences: briefly there are rescue and stunts sequences and a couple of recurring human characters get dropped into something down below from somewhere high up [this is good,] but if I had to pick out some things for you to watch out for; Megatron and Starscream just watch out for these points and on a quick side note without giving too much away Soundwave has two scenes of action as well either destroying or locating, between these points these would be the best in this episode.

This episode receives: 5/10, now let's just say this; if the Decepticons were not in this episode; this episode would have really, really struggled. I don't know what to say here, because on one hand it strongly highlights that the Decepticons are either individually or in different numbers or as a whole are really interesting and engaging characters. But on the other hand I could see this episode as a waste of the time slot as it relates to the episode. I think if push came to shove I could justify keeping this episode just based on what the Decepticons bring to the table in this episode.

Review Time: this episode is mixed

Storyline: well it is hard work, straightforward and whilst I have taken two minutes to think about it this female character is not a girl, but a fully grown woman instead so this title would be wrong.

Character developments/Comedy level: the character developments are generally speaking a mixed bag, there is friction/chemistry between this Autobot [Powerglide] and this female character depending where you are in this episode is depending what you get. Moving on to the comedy level, this female character successfully angers Megatron with her just being herself.

 Teletraan I: I am getting a little bit confused by this, because how can this computer be in two places at the same time, I did bring this up in a previous episode The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 2, Part 2, Volume 5, Disc 2] Episode 52: Auto-Bop, I will leave a link down below but in this episode it looks to be in a different surroundings as well unless this is just a different computer [but it looks similar or there is always a possibility I am not meant to notice these things.] I am not going to go back and change what I have said in episode 52, because that was based on then and based on now.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: on both counts these elements are good such as air to ground or air to air or having this Decepticon [Ramjet] pick up this merry-go-round and throw it at this Autobot [Powerglide] and it hit him shows imagination.

This episode receives: 4/10, now don't get me wrong this episode has some good elements to it, but having said that I do feel that this is a waste of an episode time slot and this is not one of my favorite episodes by a big distance, in short they should have come up with a much better episode [when you come to watch this episode watch out for the ending scene, it is extremely cheesy.]

Review Time: this episode is excellent.

Storyline/Back story: in short on both counts these two elements are good.

Character developments: now on one hand these character developments are played out for everyone to see [boyfriends and girlfriends Autobots that kind of thing,] which I don't mind there is chemistry between these characters and there is friction between two Decepticons [Starscream and Rumble as well,] but on the other hand I prefer the subtle character developments, which I am not going to tell you about. But I will tell you how to find them instead [in the dialogue exchanges at some points in this episode.]

Action sequences/Artistic visions: these two elements gel together so it would make better sense for me to talk about them together. So these action sequences range from a skirmish, rescue or an out and out action sequence and here are two pointers for the artistic visions  Optimus Prime being situated hanging high up over this acid below [in a large iron circular container] and how he falls as well. The second is a warning if you have a medical history of problems with flashing effects, you will have a problem watching this episode because there is an element of colourful/fleshing effects which is highly noticeable, I feel like I should just dictate a disclaimer, just pointing out that this is a friendly heads up and nothing more.

This episode receives: 9/10, now there is nothing wrong with the beginning of this episode, in fact things just begin after the opening credits. But it does feel like the more you watch of this episode the better and better things get from an all round perspective to the point where they should have really considered making this storyline into a two-parter episode, maybe using a storyline on where the male Autobots are stranded on Cybertron and they cannot get back to Earth, I know this sounds a bit cheesy but it would work.

Review Time: this episode is good

Night time/Break-dancing/Music Artists: this episode takes place at night which is good variety and the Break-dancing elements are good as well, moving on there are two very, very well-known music artists that get mentioned in this episode [so pay attention for this.]

Teletraan I: this is something else for you to look out for, I find it strange that this computer is situated here and not where it should be at the Headquarters of the Autobots [where their spaceship crash landed inside and outside this old volcano] and whilst I'm on the subject this computer is not well protected, I have come to this conclusion based on this Autobot [Blaster] just walks out this side door without locking it, so someone like Bill Gates could just walk in and he would have a field day with this technology.

Action sequences: they are all good in their own ways but briefly we get Blaster vs. Soundwave in a one-on-one situation, these elements could have done with being a bit longer, but they show imagination and what kind of battle these two characters could have, basically they could fill the second main event of a WrestleMania card [and obviously just in case you're wondering yes it would have to be Optimus Prime vs. Megatron for the main event of their interpretation of WrestleMania.]

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode does have many enjoyable things around each corner.

Review Time: this episode is excellent.

Storyline: in short there are obvious, straight to the point and ever presents of hunting in this episode.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: now on both counts the action sequences and the artistic visions have a lot of imagination behind them, for one brief example these traps that are designed to capture these Autobots, but also captured a Decepticon, I should just point out without giving too much away this trap was not for this Decepticon [Blitzwing,] whilst another Decepticon [Astrotrain] gets dragged away by an invention, but I'm not going to talk about that because I have already given a little bit away.

Character developments: this episode shows very clearly why Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots as other characters may rush into a situation he is weighing up the situation or situations in front of him before he does anything else, there is fire in his belly to keep going mixed in with a little bit of "You really don't want to mess with this Autobot, because he is more than capable of handling himself when the time comes to put foot to posterior."

This episode receives: 8/10, this is one of those episodes that does get better the more you watch of it and as I have already said it does have a lot of imagination behind in one way or another.

Storyline/American football: individual these two elements are good

Artistic visions: there are these three Decepticons [Astrotrain, Blitzwing and Starscream,] sculpting to be more precise blasting with their weapons into this rock face, Astrotrain and Blitzwing do a self sculpture of themselves whilst Starscream sculpts Megatron, this little sequence is imaginative and the same can be said for the maze in this episode as well.

Character developments/Action sequences: well there are a lot in one way or another there is chemistry or friction [it depends where you are in this episode is depending what you get,] but in short the Decepticons self implode and there is this beautifully managed dialogue exchange between Optimus Prime and Megatron with Starscream in this scene as well, moving on to the action sequences here are two brief examples of them; a rescue sequence of Spike Witwicky and the Decepticons rumble sequence.

This episode receives: 10/10, there are many things happening, imagination and a small number of comedy elements in this episode. This will not change this mark but I just have to ask this rhetorical question/point this out before I finish how did Blitzwing get to this score and he was always going to win anyway simply because he was playing on his own.
