Warning: there will be some censored adult language references in one way or another.

Asuka deserved much better treatment that is for damn sure: Right to start off I know she is deemed partly retired at the moment or as of this content being first created and you may be wondering why produce this content now? It is because instead of giving Asuka her moment at Mania 42/2026; which she really deserves, because for me she deserves to be recognised in the same level of Bull Nakano or/and the Great Muta [full disclosure: I have only ever watched bits and pieces of these two individual wrestlers, but based on that and their individual reputations everyone around the world that is in a wrestling knows that whenever they were on the card, they were going to bring it and bring the house down.]

So instead of going with this match Iyo Sky vs. Asuka; Singles Match at Mania where Asuka could have a real sendoff and let's face it this match deserved to be on Mania this year without question, they decided to go with Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar [with Paul Heyman;] Singles Match: retirement angle, which no one either saw coming or and this is the most important thing brought into, because it has always been indicated that Lesnar will be retiring at WWE SummerSlam 2026; but as things are back in reality; just for him to return on Monday 18/05/2026 Raw to continue this feud with Femi until WWE SummerSlam 2026 [Saturday and Sunday at 01 and 02/08/2026:] talk about having a good idea and walking it dry... but then again this is precisely what the WWE do especially nowadays, they have a good idea once in a while and they destroy it by too much exposure or some other means like god-awful manure storytelling.

Now just for the record I am not saying Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar [with Paul Heyman;] Singles Match: doesn't deserve to be at Mania, because it clearly does, I am obviously clearly criticising the kayfabe retirement angle, when we could have given a proper one to someone that deserves it in Asuka; I do feel everyone involved got robbed of this genuine moment, which it has just hit me; if this is the way of the WWE nowadays to create moments, on reflection they really, really fudged up here, I am not saying exploit this moment obviously, but you would think they greatly prefer an authentic genuine moment over a engineered moment... right? ... Well if they had to brain cells to rub together, because they didn't take two minutes to think about it and quite clearly opted for the option that they took.

Whatever Asuka does next good luck; yes she may indeed come back to the WWE, I'm making reference to the end of her full-time in ring career for the WWE, but hopefully see you around soon.

Average Extra of: Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Entrant Was So Bad by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there will be some censored adult language references and will contain political or/and religious references

What the hell was this manure?!: I mean if you haven't heard it, you should take the time to listen to this entry into this year's competition "Look Mum No Computer" sung by Eins, Zwei, Dre: but I should also give you some friendly advice that it will be roughly no more than 4 minutes of your life that you won't to get back.

I mean this was absolute immature hollocks; I mean I know, I know we are probably never going to win the Eurovision Song Contest ever again due to our image on the global stage amongst other things, but could we make this manure respectable I mean Sam Ryder did exceptionally well with his entry in 2022 with "Space Man" where he finished second, just 4 years later we end up bottom with 1 point. If you don't want to take this contest too seriously anymore because of previously already discussed factors then can we please make this respectably amusing; how about a song dedicated to the Full English Breakfast; that would be quintessentially British/United Kingdom, I am not being angry or sore about for the vast majority of the time ending up at the wrong end of this contest, I am simply just talking about the difference between amusingly bad and embarrassingly bad or I mean if you really, really want to have some fun and stick it to a certain element of the UK; they could always get different artists from different backgrounds for examples Jewish or/and Muslim and others and individually give them a line or maybe a little bit more [I am just trying to fit everyone in and yes I did borrow this concept off So Solid Crew; with their anthem of “21 Seconds” released in 2001; where  each member had 21 seconds to contribute to this song hence the title] but I digress in this song in question and they could tell us what being British means to them. I hasten to add if anyone is reading this section in particular allow me to clarify; I am suggesting that if you are born here or maybe made your home here as you have been here long enough; you are British, regardless of religious or ethnic or anything other, so my intention is not to exploit your differences but to highlight that you are British, with the cherry on top of the cake being you get to subliminally raise the middle finger to those that have made it abundantly clear and before I continue this is not me saying it just for the record even know it is in my content; that you are not welcome here, even though the vast majority of us are fully aware without generations of immigrants the United Kingdom would be so screwed of the country on multiple levels; actually I really like this idea, so maybe one year it will come to fruition.

Review Time

The adventure begins: briefly; it is decided that The One Ring that is also named Ring of Power/Master-ring/other names has to be taken to Mount Doom and dropped inside. But Sauron and his forces are the ones mainly looking for the Ring, because with it he can control these other Rings consequently control the world, so it is up to Frodo Baggins [Elijah Wood:] he is a young hobbit from the Shire, that unfortunately inherits this Ring and consequently burden, Samwise Gamgee/Sam [Sean Astin:] he is also a hobbit from the Shire, that overhears this adventure brewing and makes a promise to essentially protect Mr Frodo. Gandalf the Grey [Ian McKellen:] he is a Istari wizard that is the magical member of the fellowship, yes this is who Sam promises, but we have more from the Shire, we have Peregrin/Pippin Took [Billy Boyd:] he is a hobbit and Frodo's cousin and Meriadoc Brandybuck/Merry [Dominic Monaghan:] he is a hobbit and a distant cousin of Frodo; these two now and again bring some comical relief sometimes at the most unwanted of times.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script simultaneous character developments; the storyline/script and character development instantaneously transport its audience from our world into Middle-Earth with this voice-over storyteller exposition character developments from Galadriel [Cate Blanchett:] she is an elf co-leader of Lothlórien alongside her husband Lord Celeborn [Marton Csokas:] he is an elf and I am going to be honest we see him I'm going to say extremely limited like once in this small sequence, but I'm going to cover my back by sticking with extremely limited just in case I have missed something. But I digress; she tells of how things came to be and consequently off the back of this; it sets off this film hitting the ground running; with its framework and pacing being 171 minutes; being upbeat as every minute is meticulously given time to breathe with will fluently excellent as it has to cover a multitude of gear changes for an example; something like peaceful and playful to dramatic and action packed or anything else at a drop of a hat or vice versa.

Art, comedy and action; now it is clear to see that yet again the immaculate attention to detail is with us throughout; be it set designs or the natural locations on our journey or costumes and accessories or the mystical characters or anything else really; they did a phenomenal flawless job of bringing this world to life throughout this trilogy; which in hindsight feeds back into the framework and pacing as we could have multiple characters in this film and in this trilogy at different points different locations and because everything just works smoothly either simultaneously or off one another it doesn't interrupt the flow of the film; we the audience just to get to enjoy these visual locations among many other aspects, components and elements and if you're wondering if the sound of time have taken effect? No if anything they are just getting better with age as they come across as more authentic and no disrespect to those that worked on any level of the artistic side of things; as the landscape of making films change with more up-to-date technology; if they are originally put in on making the film in question as these were they can easily stand the test of time and you get this kind of really excellent balance of ageing technology with authenticity which brings another layer to the artistic outlay on any level of its usage.

So for one example of the comedy would be when we have these two mischievous hobbits in Merry and Pippin or vice versa as they are messing around with these fireworks and for the action obviously I was going to make reference to this one-on-one mystical action sequence for an example; the Grey vs. Saruman the White [Christopher Lee:] he is a wizard The fallen head of the Istari Order and does the bidding of Sauron: we have this epic, but relatively short in its entirety, but still no less important once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and privilege to witness the Grey/McKellen vs. the White/Lee: go one-on-one in this wizards battle: you just have to see it to believe that it actually happened, but in all seriousness; epic one-on-one battle sequence.

Character developments, performances, motion capture and voice performance; at this precise moment they are all fresh clay on a potter’s wheel; yes they may and indeed cover the foundations levels of the character developments; but they also are ready to be moulded by the journey that lays before them over this film and the next two instalments; as throughout this film they all begin to experience things which person moulds them, such as Frodo/Wood is quite quickly understanding the mammoth responsibility which he is carrying as this Ring feeds on the goodness of its holder and replaces it with its own willing to dominate its holder; very much like a worm feasting on a fresh apple not yet picked, the performances reflect these characteristics perfectly as these characters/performances simultaneously grow into one another; in short these characters are these performers and these performers become his characters; they make them their very own, for the motion caption and voice performances likewise they mimic the cast as it relates to outstanding and spot on levels of perfection [as a reference to we get flawless exposition that really does set things up perfectly in one way or another.]

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it just does so much, so much so it does the ground work for basically the next two instalments to work with/off, so obviously if you haven't seen this film yet? I'm really talking to the younger generations or at some point in the future the generations that weren't even born when this first hit our big screens; you definitely need to watch this film once in your lifetime that is sure, because if you don't you will miss out on an era of cinema history and an epic adventure; to be shared with the age-appropriate to begin with family experience. This film has quite a few awards to its name such as 126 Winners which include but not limited to Academy Awards, USA 2002 Oscars Best Cinematography Andrew Lesnie and Best Makeup Peter Owen Richard Taylor [altogether it has 4 winning Oscars to its name] and this film also has 127 Nominees to its name would also include but not limited to; remaining at this award ceremony/event Best Picture Peter Jackson Barrie M. Osborne Fran Walsh and Best Music, Original Song Enya Nicky Ryan Roma Ryan For the song "May It Be" [altogether this film has 9 Nominees to its name.]

Average Extra of: Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano: International Embarrassment for Netflix on Saturday 16/05/2026 by AverageMansReviews

Average Extra of: Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano: International Embarrassment for Netflix on Saturday 16/05/2026 by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there will be some censored adult language references

Well this was a unfunny joke wasn't it really?: But having said that, I do find it slightly funny that for the rest of eternity this will go down in history as the first time-ever that Netflix has tried to put on a UFC/MMA event/card and this was their main event, talk about leaving egg on Netflix's face, I myself do not watch this sport including this match theoretically speaking/meaning I essentially watched it online; social media platforms, but even I find it amazing that yet again Ronda Rousey is still able to shoot off her mouth about the UFC/MMA on various topics throughout her press conferences and yes I have seen that she has apparently apologised in some way or another.

But I think we all know where I am heading with this content/point don't worry?...

So you criticise the UFC for broadly speaking being in a terrible shape, so instead of getting back in the octagon and putting on a decent exhibition match and showing what the UFC should be; you and Gina Carano decide to do essentially what I Hollywood Hulk Hogan and the W CW World Heavyweight Kevin Nash did back in the day [WCW Monday Night Nitro: 04/01/1999:] where Hogan uses this now nicknamed the Fingerpoke of Death: where Nash dramatically falls on his back on the mat and Hogan covers him 1... 2... 3 to become the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion and then Nash quickly gets up to celebrate with Hogan: on a quick side note I didn't know until today that this incident had a catchy nickname.

But I digress I am not saying or indicating or implying or anything that this UFC match was scripted, on the contrary all I am saying is; this wrestling match back in the day was scripted, so what is the excuse for the UFC?

I mean shooting off your mouth, then treating this match as if there was a championship on the line and the outcome would consequently really change your life is one thing or I could be really harsh and say what is the point of putting on a good match when both competitors are about to make either just over $1 million or just over $2 million respectively, now I am not saying go out there and harm one another, but there has to be a medium between that and clearly performing daylight robbery with this match lasting no more than 18 seconds.

So I feel sorry and mightily urinated off for anyone that paid their hard earned money to go and see this match live in attendance and I have to say to finish off this content, I find it ever so slightly amusing that Rousey criticises the UFC and then pulls this absolute manure, she is at absolute hypocrite and just to clarify I have no love for TKO or WWE or UFC or specifically CEO Dana White; I am just putting out this content, to highlight that this historic or what should have been historic, turned out to be nothing more than a cash grab by everyone involved with ultimately yet again it is the average person/people paying the price.

Review Time

The fight for Earthrealm continues: briefly; before that; our story begins many moons ago on Edenia; where they were in a very similar situation to Earth losing 9 Mortal Kombat tournaments; Shao Kahn [Martyn Ford:] he is the ruler of Outworld and on defeating Edenia's last champion: Desmond Chiam as King Jerrod; Kahn claims dominion over Edenia and everyone in it; including but not limited to Princess Kitana [Younger: Sophia Xu/Older: Adeline Rudolph:] the daughter of King Jerrod and now adopted daughter of Kahn. But don't worry Earthrealm has the mighty power of Johnny Cage [Younger: Indy Urban: Son/Older: Karl Urban: Father] in his younger days he had lots of potential to become one of the best martial artists in the world, but nowadays he is a washed-up action hero, that has a very good relationship with his bartender [Ed Boon: he is one of the co-creators alongside John Tobias of Mortal Kombat:] so Earthrealm is completely screwed then?

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 116 minutes film moves with purpose and understanding that it knows what and where we are heading with enthusiasm throughout its entirety.

Art and action; now either individually or/and simultaneously it is fantastic; you can see or/and feel though high-quality of the artistic visions; set designs; for an example stage fatalities, resurrections, costumes and accessories and other things. Now before I continue I would like to state the obvious; that everyone is entitled to their opinion, I will give that two seconds to sink in... ... I can now carry on, with that being said I did hear some grumbling about the special effects broadly speaking looking let's just go with negative and are now seeing this film, can I just ask what the hell are you talking about?... Because if I know what I think you are talking about at worst you are being a dick or for the interest of being balanced any other body part you would like to put here instead of a dick, but I digress; or at best you are being extremely picky. Whatever the case may be, you haven't clearly noticed a certain trend of modern cinema and TV to a certain extent; meaning by and large the massive budgets for the vast majority of projects just isn't there anymore on a consistent basis, you still may get now and again large budgets but nothing compared to before the global pandemic and yes we may still get millions spent on TV programs, but if they don't perform on whatever platform they are on these days; they will quickly get cut even though by its fan base it was positive.

So let's look at one of the clearest possible example of everyone's discontent on a hypothetical scare of, because I don't know, but if I had to guess; this would be one; Portal stage within Outworld; where we have a Resurrections vs. Liu Kang [Ludi Lin:] he is one of Earthrealm's greatest warriors and protectors: I don't have any problems with this sequence of events it is highly engaging and spectacular, I have just realised I have just summed up every sequence in this sequel: but I digress; this one-on-one action sequence is awash with colour be it the stage itself or/and the attacks or anything else, and because of this by other people's prospective or opinions this may not be up to the highest standard.

But because I have been around films and TV shows for a very long time now I can tell you what they did and it is very simple; they can either make a sequence like this where everything is free-flowing in keeping up with the sequence of events and keeping within their budget of $80 million [which they have almost achieved this budget at the box office] or make something stick out; either the background or the performers performing including their special attacks or anything else really, so everything feels like a separate entity in this sequence and without a shadow of doubt balloon the budget to an astronomical budget, virtually guaranteeing a loss of money and potentially a loss of any further sequels/projects: so like I said everyone is entitled to their opinion, but all I am saying is; you may want to look at the bigger picture before shooting your mouth off, because as far as I'm concerned everything that has been shown in this film; landscapes or action sequence or others; they have all been designed with one main purpose to begin with and that is to give us a more immersive experience and they passed that with sometimes incredibly brutally graphic flawless victory.

Action, comedy and character developments; Cage has got himself stuck in this one-on-one battle now he has to just somehow get himself out of this situation; which he has no other choice but to act his way out, which yes absolutely this is lots of fun and consequently he makes a new ally; so I just have one little question which is a big thing and it is absolutely 110% a missed golden opportunity to perform Friendship and for those people that don't know; these are a series of fatalities; one for each character to show kindness/leniency and in this case Cage's is a signed autograph of himself; so all they had to do was have him hand this over and say hold onto this until I return or something to that effect.

Character developments and performances; simply put the newcomers perfectly slot in with returning cast; so we actually have a spot on blend between the newcomers of characters/performers and returning experienced characters/performers and not forgetting we also have individual growth as well, so everything is beautifully set up for the third instalment.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it clearly has so much to offer from beginning to end including for a little while individual ending credits changes, so obviously it must be seen at your local cinema or/and this is for later on after its cinema run, you must find the bigger screen you can get your hands on and watch it to really experience the full splendour and drawing of this movie.

As of this content being first created I am absolutely devastated that this sequel does not have one single accredited award to its name, sadly this film was in loving memory to somebody, but I can't find the name. But I am going to dedicate this content to the one and only; Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa 1950-2025; in every project I have seen him in, he always had this and deniable ability to just stand out head and shoulders and go head-to-head with his opposite; he has two legendary videogame live-action performances accredited to his name Mortal Kombat 1995 as Shang Tsung Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2017/08/mortal-kombat-1995-by-averagemansreviews.html and Tekken 2009 as Heihachi Mishima link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2017/12/tekken-200910-by-averagemansreviews_7.html: RIP Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa: you may be gone but your journey throughout cinema will keep you alive for eternity.

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: John Cena Major Announcement at WWE Backlash 2026 by AverageMansReviews

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: John Cena Major Announcement at WWE Backlash 2026 by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there will be some censored adult language references in one way or another.

Pure and simple what the hell is this absolute manure?!: Is this really where the WWE are heading? Because I know AEW in one way or another put on a lot of tournaments: for an example Continental Classic or even TNA Bound for Glory Series, but at least they make sense. John Cena indicated something to the effect of ground changing or something like that and what a surprise via Cena the WWE yet again has failed to deliver.

I mean I had to watch this or many clips sometime ago to get this concept in my head; it is because I got it, but I don't get it, so what you're basically telling me is we have this tournament possibly for men and women on one night and regardless if they win or lose they could still become champion of the first-ever inaugural John Cena Classic; based on the WWE Universe's votes, which essentially is basically a populist vote really.

I mean Wow this is the dumbest idea I have ever heard from the WWE and I have been around wrestling since 1988, this whole concept is a complete waste of time, because the WWE are just going to go with who they want when the dust has settled and making extra money on the side of their fans pointless engagement, I knew or if you don't know there is one big insult that you never use in wrestling circles; because it is a massive insult; even slightly bigger than words fake, but in this situation it makes justifiable perfect sense to use it; this looks and smells of a carny trick; whatever money you pay to play the game; the game and the outcome is going to be rigged.

Yes I am fully aware that the WWE have already tried events with fan interaction with Taboo Tuesday and/or Cyber Sunday and they were of what I remember broadly speaking is extremely messy in their presentation and more importantly the complete waste of time, so we have already been down this road with the WWE I don't know what they expect to be different this?

I mean any promotion minus the WWE can run a tournament and because it has been given a level of seriousness in its construction and dealing with things such as for an example someone has to pull out due to injury or something to that effect; in a nutshell consequently their fan base or/and viewers take it seriously and regard it something generally look forward to if it comes back in the future, I mean for many decades the WWF/WWE took the WWE men's or women's 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Teams at WWE Survivor Series so seriously around Thanksgiving that this for many years became a tradition: so this shows that the WWF/WWE could do it if they put their mind to it and effort, now we have WWE Survivor Series WarGames that only mainly effects the main event picture on the men's side of things and on the women's is basically get everyone or something to that effect, so they are well and truly taken the shine off his once glorious stipulation.

So in conclusion I think this John Cena Classic is a steaming pile of garbage as a concept and not only that this event is going to be a steaming pile of donkey manure.

I told you to leave us alone: basically; Jason Bourne/other names [Matt Damon:] has come out of hiding, after the Treadstone program framed him for something he didn't do. Pamela Landy [Joan Allen:] she is the Deputy Director of the CIA that broadly speaking is interested in this entire situation with Bourne, the Treadstone program and this current situation

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 108 minutes film is lively as it really has an identity to it

Action and art; in the beginning stages or somewhere around here; we have this underwater sequence of events; this is artistically excellently structured to put across what it puts across and for the other actions they are manic but also we do get something subtle Bourne/Damon likes to spy on people using his sight on his gun and telephone them to have a conversation, so it isn't all fast paced action, more action and more action.

Character developments and performances; we get to see and experience the growth of Bourne/Damon as without giving too much away; things have just got personal and remember all they had to do was leave him alone; so obviously we get more of a in-depth version of Bourne, I am not disrespecting the previous version not in the slightest. But all I am saying is quite clearly; evolution of this character is what we get in this sequel as Damon is allowed to implement more of what his action persona is going to be not only in this sequel but in other instalments of this franchise as well; surrounded by a very solid cast of characters and performers, that understand Bourne is a possibly massive threat, that in a nutshell they don't know what he is doing and if he makes mistakes, simply put; he doesn't make mistakes, so he clearly wants to be where he is but why?

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; it just keeps things progressing at a good pace as it relates to this film franchise. This film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 5 Winners that includes but not limited to Empire Awards, UK 2005 Empire Award Best Film and Best Actor Matt Damon. 22 Nominees that also includes but not limited to from the same award ceremony/event Best British Director Paul Greengrass and Scene of the Year The Moscow car chase sequence.

Review Time

Way before Mrs. Doubtfire and others we had Dorothy Michaels: briefly; we meet Michael Dorsey/Dorothy Michaels/other characters [Dustin Hoffman:] he is an performer that wants to work in any way possible, he even put on acting workshops and goes for any audition he can get including but not limited to theatre productions, but even his agent has to time, he has been blacklisted from Hollywood due to the fact broadly speaking he is difficult to work with; so he vows to get work and not only that, also finance and star in his friend's Theatre production. Jeff Slater [Bill Murray:] he is the romantic playwright, roommate of Dorsay/Michaels; he is very good at keeping secrets and will help him out from time to time. A little time later and with a little bit of luck Michaels finds herself on this highly successful soap opera called "Southwest General" it is a medical-based soap opera.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script is best suited to be seen there is a drama project over a comedy and don't get me wrong it does have some comedy throughout from time to time, but drama is at its heart. The framework and pacing of this 116 minutes is good; but this film comes from the times when they use an obvious a noticeable presence of background music to create emotions and/or/both pacing; I know this is fundamental filmmaking and it will always be used in the filmmaking, but for back then I am just pointing out the usage and volume of it and from beginning to end this film is a little bit dry in its presentation; but then again there is an argument that this was how things were back in the 1980's, so I don't want to be seen as someone picking on something that represent a particular time in history, so I'm not picking on it, I'm just pointing it out really.

Character developments, performances and comedy; the character developments are least good and well grounded versions of what they were going for as in everyday people living their lives whatever that may be and from out of nowhere this woman Michaels goes on to affect everyone she comes in contact with in some way or another; this is very much a cast performance regardless of the size of the role everyone makes contribute something so there is absolutely in this wonderfully genuine authentic chemistry between this cast; yes I did just saying this is very much a cast performance which yes this is true... absolutely true, but putting this to one side for a minute; Hoffman makes this role/roles look and feel fluently effortless as they are parts of the same person, just different amounts on mostly everything, for the younger generations the comedy can be dry, yet again this may or may not have something to do with its time in history as in decade of release or/and good-natured with this one example of Michael explaining everything to his agent; basically a sum up of his current situation up to this point in the movie and throughout his agent has questions.

This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; after everything is said and done I have decided to award additional marked, based on everything I have discussed in this content, for a little while there is an ongoing sequence underneath the closing credits and man it does have awards to its name such as 26 Winners which includes but not limited to Academy Awards, USA 1983 Oscars Best Actress in a Supporting Role Jessica Lange as Julie Nichols/other character: she is a main cast character not only in this film but also the soap opera. 31 Nominees which also includes but not limited to from the same award ceremony/event Best Actor in a Leading Role Dustin Hoffman [altogether this film has 9 Oscar Nominees to its name.]

Average Extra of: Premiership Problem: West Ham vs. Arsenal Match Robbery: 10/05/2026: Part 5 by AverageMansReviews

Related content: Average Extra of: Premiership Problem: West Ham vs. Arsenal Match Robbery: 10/05/2026: Part 4 [which will also contain all the other parts up to this point as well: Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2026/05/average-extra-of-premiership-problem_36.html

I have just realised: by looking at other people's content, what I have been hearing for the last almost 4 days has been mostly a hot steaming pile of garbage; this entire situation should have been relatively easy to clean up or clear up; originally I was under the impression that jocelyn for position as West Ham sent over the ball from their corner and then what happened with Arsenal's goalkeeper David Raya: was Phase 1 ; I come to realise it wasn't and yes I am now fully aware of the fouls from the Arsenal players on the West Ham players, I was aware of this beforehand, but I now have a clearer picture of the order of this incident/scenario.

The real Phase 1: is a foul on West Ham's Pablo by Leandro Trossard, so for all intents and purposes until this foul is cleared up it is almost irrelevant if Pablo has fouled the Arsenal goalkeeper. Where it is Trossard that begins this whole sequence of events by facing away from the football and has no intention of actually playing football: it is his intentional interference that causes the first foul, which then causes Pablo to foul/interfere with Raya and then you have Declan Rice fouling a West Ham player: I will say this one more time I know there broadly speaking more going on in this situation then I have put here.

But in my defence; I have put everything that we need to focus on in this scenario in the right political order and this is so important for the next section of this content and you will understand why I have simplified it.

So as another content creator pointed out; why in the VAR check discussion did they made reference to questionable tactics/behaviour by Trossard, but spend more time focusing on the foul on the Arsenal goalkeeper? And the follow-up question is and this is crucial; why didn't they not show the right order of events and just go to the foul on the goalkeeper consequently the referee Chris Kavanagh could be blasé about the Arsenal players because he doesn't actually see the full picture and in the right order; so how is he meant to make an informed decision, without seeing how things really went in the right order? Which based on this perspective, now makes him look as if he was hanged out to dry by his colleagues, don't get me wrong there is enough blame to go around here, but let's just say if I was him I would be taking off these colleagues from my Christmas card list that is for 100% certainty; which is now opening VAR to negligence really, because if we were to spend what two seconds thinking about it; the referendum question is meant to make a decision based on all and I will say that again ALL the information available to him or her or person at that time, but when he doesn't have all the information given to him which you should have then I feel quite comfortable suggesting it is negligence.

Because what they should have been discussing is firstly is it a penalty? Or do we allow the goal? And based on this conversation we say yes or no and then we move on to the following phases of play such as the foul on the Arsenal goalkeeper, discussion yes or no and move on.

As I said when I first started covering the story; they have made a right pig's ear of this entire situation, the more I find out about it, the more I just don't like how things are going down; when you have this level of incompetence over who could potentially win the premiership and who could be relegated; especially when you could be champions in Arsenal have been doing similar tactics on scoring goals may be double figures of attempts of using this method and far often than not getting away with it this entire season.

So hopefully there is an ongoing enquiry into how they are going to proceed for the rest of the season and what ruling has to be made, because regardless if Arsenal are champions or not throughout the rest of time, I will not see this Arsenal team for this season as champions, because like I said they deserve a massive asterix against this; as this is possibly the worst premiership season in premiership history ever and incidentally just for the record again my football team is not even in the premiership, but I do like my football and I will be saying this again/calling for it again VAR without question and 110% certainty needs to go before the beginning of next season, because a will tell you one last thing VAR is a detriment to football, because it has stolen enjoyment from the game and this is coming from somebody that some time ago his team was in league one, going through those dark days was so much more enjoyable than having VAR.

I have seen him use in one way or another the world corruption how this whole entire situation has played out, with this ruling not being in effect for roughly somewhere between 18 months to 2 years, Arsenal scoring so many goals using this method and now a similar situation happening up in Scotland with Motherwell vs./and Celtic where in a nutshell Celtic won due to an award of a penalty 3-2 on Wednesday 13/05/2026: when it wasn't: VAR needs to go for sure: it is failing at its purpose, so why are we allowing it to be used in our world of football; when I hope people are starting to realise that, before VAR there was some kind of weird comfort in it just being down to human error to why a decision was made, but nowadays it is down somewhere between corruption and/laziness in either way VAR can be thrown in the nearest landfill site.

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effect/colourful effects/transformation/robotics/shooting/cutting/stabbing/torture/melting/burning

The son has come to release the father: briefly;  Bowser Jr. [voiced by: Benny Safdie:] he is Bowser's son and the Prince of the Koopas, as you will see he is highly skilled in his own right, but for now he has come to the Mushroom Kingdom; but there are two pesky plumbers standing in his way; Mario and  Luigi [voiced by: Chris Pratt and Charlie Day:] they are twin brothers that are plumbers, but at this point in time they are guardians of the Mushroom Kingdom

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 99 minutes film is straightforward in every sense of the word and it moves along at a good pace with some exposition in the character developments on more than one occasion with in one case this anime style exposition in their character developments; which is excellently done and lots of fun as well

Art, action and comedy; predominantly the art is very quick to see as in one way or another there is a lot happening; but before we dive into that they need to get something off my chest Yoshi [voiced by: Donald Glover:] he is a dinosaur type creature; that has a massive tongue like Gene Simmons [lead vocalist for the rock band KISS:] but if Yoshi chooses to swallow he can turn things into eggs and/or depending on what  Koopa Troopas shell colour; he holds in his mouth for a short amount of time; it can give him a special skill; like if my memory is correct if he ingests a red shell it gives him one round of a fire shot on firing. But back to this film; there is one sequence I really didn't like in this sequel and it comes to us into part; Yoshi walking into this sequence/with the camera behind him and then a moment or two later flipping the sequence where he is running towards the camera. I know what they were trying to do and that was to give a more immersive experience, but it just came off really clunky and tacky.

But other than that we have a lot to work with the planets aspects are fantastic, they have all been given their own personal touches; such as  Princess Peach and Toad [voiced by: Anya Taylor-Joy and Keegan-Michael Key:] she is the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom and he is a right hand Mushroom; they are on a mission to rescue somebody: but they are currently in this casino backdrop; where relatively early on we have this smart and elegant dimensional shift done by one step of Princess Peach: now this is how you do a more immersive experience dimensional shift where our two are faced with taking on some Ninji or later on an action sequence using elements of the first generation Nintendo being fused with modern animation or feather/cape from Super Mario World 1990 from the Super Nintendo and watch out for this information robot; he is unintentionally annoying but it comical genius.

Character developments and voice performances; broadly speaking first of all; the character developments are by and large solidly good; but I am sorry that character developments of Bowser, the King of the Koopas and ruler of the Dark Lands [voiced by Jack Black;] is currently being held prisoner in a little castle in the Mushroom Kingdom; but I digress; his character developments are atrocious and moronic; as we have Bowser at one point making reference to the fact he is never been there for his kid, much later on he says to Mario basically we had our time and now I am back. So in essence the script writers have flushed what could have been an excellent character development arc for this sequel down the nearest waste pipe/portal; I know for the people that have seen this sequel it is a very small part of the film; but they did the first part when he made reference to the fact he has never been there for his kid, so all they had to do was finish it off with Bowser saying; you know what Mario, I have never chosen Jr. until now, so if that means I'm back... so be it I am back baby.

I mean it would have been an excellent character arc, it would have given Bowser character growth using the outlay of coming-of-age which in turn would have given Mario a wrinkle of growth as he can respect to that level  Bowser's choice, but like I said they pretty much flushed this avenue down the nearest waste pipe/portal, so as it relates to Bowser we are pretty much back to the start of his character growth journey. The voice performances; returning voices are more settled into their familiar roles as you would come to expect with this sequel, the new cast members; slot in fluently well and can't wait to see what they have installed for them next, but I cannot stress this enough I would say on seeing this film twice now Bowser is in danger of getting left behind as it relates to his character developments, which by the third film could end up sticking out like a sore thumb.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; as you can see it does have some problems in one way or another including I decided to take a mark off as the thing with Bowser it just irritated me so much, but then again it does tick every box on what a Super Mario Bro's animated film should be, but as I have previously stated it does have that outlay old linchpin approach to another project and if you don't know what this expression means in a nutshell; it many do the groundwork for a future project with introducing or moving characters around or essentially getting everything ready for another project in the future, so I mean I have heard some people say essentially there is much happening, there is but without giving too much away they are hopefully just getting ready for a future project and yes there are two closing credit scenes; the first after the first bunch of ending credits which are artistically excellent and the second is right at the end of the closing credits

This just gets so much worse for the Premier league and  PGMOL: I have now seen the footage and I am disgusted by it; they spent the vast majority of the time analysing why the goal should be disallow for West Ham United, but when it came to questionable behaviour on West Ham players by Arsenal players; at best and I am being very generous here they got about 30 seconds or less of consideration with the referee: Chris Kavanagh saying “I don’t think there’s much in that at all, I’m happy with that.”

So my first question is why did it take so long? Because there was nothing and I repeat nothing out of the ordinary based on this season's refereeing decisions? Second question why are you now using a ruling which hasn't been used for roughly 2 years? Third question; why hasn't any of the Arsenal corners been under this level of scrutiny and I mean 5 minutes; I hope they are very much aware they are setting a very dangerous standard, meaning every goal matters right? Every game matters right? Every job in football matters right? I mean 3 points is the difference between winning and losing or some manager losing their job or some stadium staff losing their job because the football club, can't afford to keep them right? Fourth question; I hope there is an ongoing investigation to why Kavanagh very quickly waved away any possible penalty for West Ham? Fifth question it has been alleged that Kavanagh was said to be confused by what he was seeing, so if this is/was remotely the case, why give him this crucial decision to make? Sixth and suspicious question; why was Kavanagh given the duty to referee this match? When it has been alleged that he is an Arsenal fan [now I know other content creators have shown evidence which I am also about to use; tweet from 2009 from his platform saying and I quote "I love how arsenal play"]

So forgive me I am a little brain damage actually I have a lot of brain damage... So did anyone else want to question if this was even appropriate for him to referee this match and because I am trying to keep this content professional, I am not going to even take the low road, all I am going to say is he should have never been down to referee this match regardless of what happened.

So based on current information; we have two choices; 1. Replay match or 2. Scrap VAR: because it was created apparently to clear up confusion and not add to it; it clearly doesn't do anything apart from take away the fun, it clearly divides fans more and more to the point where we are just angry; that Arsenal have been doing this kind of thing all season long and yet when another club does it against them, then we enforce the rule and as I have been dictating this content you have other football fans pointing out the other fouls that Kavanagh dismissed and calling it corruption which I strongly agree with.

Because you can speak to any football fan minus Arsenal at the moment and we are asking for one, just one thing... consistency which is another thing which VAR has failed spectacularly to provide; so to finish off this content; to resolve this issue I am calling for VAR to be scrapped from the start of next season, because now I have seen behind the curtain I don't like what I see and as I have already referenced it has failed spectacularly, I'm not kidding you to appease everyone I am strongly saying VAR needs to go, and very finely this is a call to all football fans stop saying it was the right decision, because if we were playing in another season, where we were all playing by the same laws I would say yes; keeping in mind I just said if we were playing by the same rules including being physical with one another.

Believe it or not I am desperately trying to bring this content to close, but I have just found out this:

"The Premier League's Key Match Incidents panel found referee errors denied penalties to opponents in Arsenal's 1-0 victories against Everton, Chelsea, and Brighton this season, potentially worth six points in the tight title race where Arsenal lead Manchester City by five points. Yet league data reveals Chelsea, Bournemouth, and Newcastle benefited from more net errors in their favor. Arsenal supporters counter with memories of harsh red cards last season, while the Gunners stay unbeaten in 10 after their latest 1-0 win at West Ham, keeping every decision under intense scrutiny as the race continues."

I need without that even though this is in my content I didn't dictate this and I do take responsibility for it; I'm just saying this is where we currently are at the moment.

This entire situation is making a Premier league look a complete joke: to the point where I'm getting so fed up with it, because minus the Arsenal fans obviously, because what I have seen every since this incident is there a complete lack of maturity and deliberately winding other fans up [which I have already received some myself, but I have chosen to ignore it now,] where it is now getting to the point of spilling over, so if you receive anything like death threats eventually you only have themselves to blame... I hasten to add incredibly quickly if this does become reality I do not condone this behaviour either.

But the main focus of this content is the following; I have just seen a clip of Sky Sports football pundit Jamie Carragher [on Monday Night Football: 11/05/2026; qualified this situation as essentially "pushing the boundaries."

So my thinking is; when you have to qualify things using this style of language is usually implies; try not to get caught in a situation verbally, so hypothetically if this was a court of law; I would be hounding him on this usage of language, because it is slight acknowledgement that this isn't clean and tidy in the rules of the game, so by definition by his own acknowledgement if it isn't in the rules of the game, it is qualified as breaking the rules; better known as cheating.

But to justify his opinion, he shows some of the footage that apparently in his eyes are not the same, then he goes on to show footage from three years ago in a Leicester match with Arsenal or vice versa that was the same, yet again if this was in the court of law, I would be hounding him for his usage of this method, based on it smells of desperation.

My point being if you have to qualify; if you have to qualify your perspective/opinion with not completely certain language, with footage from other matches then this is deemed as clutching at straws and if he is working so hard to justify it; it yet again highlights that this goal shouldn’t have been overturned; if it takes this amount of effort and resources to do so then the goal should have stood.

But my point throughout this ongoing situation is if they are going to disallow this goal, I want as a football fan all of the other goals the Arsenal have scored from corners this season checked, and checked again each goal taking five minutes each, because okay as I keep saying we have moved on from this goal or disallowed goal, if that is in the rules of the game so be it, but like I said if you have to qualify things using the language of  "pushing the boundaries" then that is a cheap and may I just say a nasty get out clause.

I am now at the point of; you know what would solve this problem?: Play the match again, I have already had someone laugh at me for suggesting this, but what else can we do? Everyone knew going in to this match of the stakes were involved and the referee unit absolutely choked, where you have for all fans and pundits and everyone else sharing their opinion; broadly speaking okay if there was a disallowed goal how about this? How about this? How about this? Okay we accept it was a foul, how about when Arsenal did this? How about this one? How about that one?

So yes my idea is completely crazy and unheard-of, but you tell me how we are going to get over this unprecedented situation? Where of course Arsenal and anyone connected to them just don't care, well if that is what you want to be remembered for good for you... But for me personally this has been a complete shambles and Arsenal have brought the game into disrepute this entire season, so when you have people like Piers Morgan saying all calling this squad the greatest in football history; he is clearly poking fun surely? He can't be serious... Because The Invincibles squad [2003-2004: which is the last time they won the premiership title with dignity, respect and justified winners of the premiership:] would run rings around this modern squad; because this modern squad can't function without Bukayo Saka or/and Declan Rice as The Invincibles were fortunate to have a squad of players that would fit in and in some cases just go out there and work for the result and actually play football instead of choosing to hit the ground.

Mark Halsey [ex-premiership referee] I am paraphrasing he brings up the entire point of this discussion and there is the level of inconsistency; for me this is why we are continuing to have this hot topic debate, which at the end of the day puts one club closer to winning the premiership title and the other closer to relegation and what if West Ham get relegated by one point? For the rest of eternity this almost Arsenal championship winning season will be clouded in controversy.

The premiership and Arsenal are individually or together making a rod for their own back for next season and I keep warning people okay you may go on to win the premiership this year; how about next year? How about three years from now? Meaning football fans don't forget and every Arsenal corner will be heavily scrutinised from now on until the end of time and finally I really do agree with Paul Scholes: when he makes reference to; this could be the worst team to ever win the premiership title.
