Marvel Iron Fist [Season 2,] Episode 23: A Duel of Iron by AverageMansReviews

5 things about this episode

Warning: this TV program is only suitable for 18-year-olds and up; there is flashing effects/colourful effects/other effects/robotics/mental health/shooting/drugs/medical.

Well what do you want me to say really?: Action, Art, Comedy and Storyline; 2-on-1 of Rand & Wing vs. Davos/Shifu/Iron Fist; is excellent fun especially the repercussions of the punch collide as simultaneously from an art perspective they did this justice. Much later on we have Knight and Wing basically combining their last names to make reference to a DC character.

Do I have to make reference to the storyline? Because to be brutally honest it is pure arrogance from Marvel? Basically in this episode they essentially build up for the third season, but the problem with this is and this is where the pure arrogance comes into play is where they must have not seen this coming where on some research Netflix decided to not pull its punch and cancel this program; it is I feel comfortable using the understanding of unclear to why and I mean a concrete reason, I mean without disrespecting other content creators there is no official 100% reason. But I think we can all surmise that Iron Fist out of the Marvel/Netflix Universe is without question the weakest TV program that they have to offer.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; as I have just indicated we will never see what the third season of this interpretation was meant to be based on it was cancelled. So obviously I think with taking this into consideration, this mark is a fair representation of this episode. But as this is the final episode of this TV series/interpretation regardless of if they bring or not everyone back, because if you don't know I think the general consensus based on current information is that Marvel as in Marvel; MCU want to bring back The Defenders: Murdoch/Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist/in some capacity. But if I ever make this crystal clear at this point allow me to do so; the only problem with this would be Iron Fist; that needs a major re-development to the point where you may as well or they may as well just get a bulldozer and just start again; I mean let's be fair if they can rescue the positives then do that but if they can't or just knock it all down and start again. This TV program also has some awards accredited to it 2 Nominees which include Golden Trailer Awards 2019 Golden Trailer Best Original Score (TV Spot/Trailer/Teaser for a Series)

5 things about this episode

Warning: this TV program is only suitable for 18-year-olds and up; there is flashing effects/colourful effects/other effects/robotics/mental health/burning/squashing/stabbing/impaling/drugs

We are just running out of time: Storyline, Character [Character developments:] Action and Art; a lot of things are going down at the Bayard Community Center; such as Rand vs. Davos/Shifu/Iron Fist; with the objective to incapacitate Davos/Shifu/Iron Fist; so that the Iron Fist can be taken off him and put in the hand of someone much more worthy; so this action sequence; it is high-quality action with swift yet smooth camerawork to keep up the sequence of events.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; as I have already stated in some way, we are literally running out of time for all of this movement in one where another and if you think I'm being unfair and unreasonable, this seems like an time to make this point after this episode; we have just one episode left of this TV series and that is it; just to cover my back; I should just say of this current direction, which covers mean for anything or if anything in the future.

5 things about this episode

Warning: this TV program is only suitable for 18-year-olds and up; there is flashing effects/colourful effects/other effects/robotics/mental health/reference to suicide.

It is almost time: Storyline, Action, Character [Character developments] and Art; we have Wing and Rand training and likewise Davos/Iron Fist which has taken for some time now the name of Shifu; as he is training his disciples; so we have this smooth back and forth; simultaneous timelines  between these two locations.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; obviously I can't say too much, but at the same time I need to make my point is well; this is one of those episodes where it clearly does its job to build things up nicely into the future episodes.

5 things about this episode

Warning: this TV program is only suitable for 18-year-olds and up; there is flashing effects/colourful effects/other effects/robotics/mental health/drugs/transformation/breaking/medical

intro: Art and Action; I mean don't get me wrong it is good with the artistry and training action; but it is the weakest out of the Marvel/Netflix Universe by some distance, scratch that a long distance; like the distance between the Earth and the Sun which is 93,000,000 miles away.

Rand on the recovery trail: Character [Character developments] and Storyline; after Rand goes through a medical procedure to fix the damage part of his body, so for a little while he is out of commission.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; I mean again after everything is said and done and taking into consideration, this episode finds itself in this bracket of my marking system, but to give a little bit more substance here so that everything isn't just the same, it very much feels like we are just doing what we have today to get to the end of this second season and they end of this interpretation of Iron Fist.

3-on-2: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Action and Art; we have Knight and Wing are trying to find these individuals known as "The Crane Sisters": between them they are responsible for performing the ritual of the transfer of the Iron Fist from Rand to Davos, but as you would expect things very much go on how you would expect them to go. This action sequence and its presentation from an artistic perspective is a high-quality enthusiastic action sequence which is hard-hitting and makes excellent usage of the landscape in this sequence of events.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; I mean again after everything is said and done and taking into consideration, this episode finds itself in this bracket of my marking system.

Davos/Iron Fist: Action, Character [Character developments] and Storyline; after trying his first or seemingly first Iron Fist as Davos is now the new Iron Fist he sets down to his new task of cleaning up the streets.

This episode receives: 9/10, this episode is excellent; in one way or another it has lots of entertaining things going on.

Wing needs help at some point: Character [Character developments] and Storyline; well if it a good bit of luck that someone shows up from the Netflix/Marvel Universe before this missing person's case is even established.

Facing someone new, but familiar: Art and Action; this action sequence takes place in location of a train station, where Rand/Iron Fist gets thrown inside, a little bit or combat and then thrown outside of this stationery train; on both counts it is a good action sequence of events.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; to be honest I get it; we are already beginning to run out of episodes, so this episode is a consequence of in my opinion time restrictions/running out and the effect of time running out is already showing its effect on every aspect of this second season.

Dinner gathering: Character [Character developments] and Storyline; this dinner gathering was planned by Ward Meachum and Rand to build bridges and find out what was happening with Joy Meachum and Davos, but it doesn't exactly go according to plan.

Wing goes investigating to then be caught: Action and Art; Wing enters this location quietly to do some investigation, but she gets caught, so they investigate for something; where this something is in a highly imaginative place if he didn't know anything about this individual, so excellent design and creativity.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; taking everything into consideration this mark is a true representation of this episode in its entirety.

We witness segments of how the latest Iron Fist candidate was chosen on K'un-L'un to take on the final challenge: Art, Storyline, Character [Character developments] and Action; obviously what hits you first is the all-round visual representation; as it is truly majestic yet whatever takes place here is going to be of the utmost importance; which is case and point out we have Rand vs. Davos; the winner is either the last man alive or get the other to yield; the winner will get the honour to take on the final challenge to become the new Iron Fist.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; this is another case of after everything is said and done, this episode finds itself in this bracket of my marking system.

Yin yang welcomes us to Season 2: Art, Storyline, Action and Character [Character developments;] the first thing we see is this symbol a good bit of art for what it is, we meet Rand/Iron Fist as he is trying to stop this robbery by putting foot posterior; which is a great way to begin this second season with excellent enthusiasm these criminals that are members of the Golden Tigers.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; after taking everything into consideration, this mark is a fair assessment of the opening to this second season.
