Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE In Your House #1 14/05/1995: Match 6/Part 6/Conclusion by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Match/Stipulation: "Psycho" Sid [with "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase] vs. the WWF/WWE Champion "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel for the WWF/WWE Championship.

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: Dok Hendrix & Vince McMahon: 8/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 6/10

Match Total: 45/60 - this match is good; during and after.

Comments: this is one of those matches where it uses a tick sheet formula where it achieves its goals; I know this is the Spoiler Alarm Version, but I still don't like giving everything away, basically it is up to my discretion what I tell you about the match in question at that time; so without a shadow of a doubt sometimes there may be more information or sometimes hardly any information.

But as it relates to this specific match it is just a good solid match that has everything that you come to expect with these characters/performers involved and more; with the Crowd Participation being very much behind this match.

Basic Result: "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel retains his WWF/WWE Champion

This Pay-Per-View receives: 6/10, generally speaking this is good; just now taking a look at the Match Totals, to remind myself a little I will put it like this; on average when this Pay-Per-View is good it is comfortably good but when it isn't; it is okay; the “Hitman” and Lawler narrative for this Pay-Per-View is good as well

The highest ranking match on this Card based on attributes that we see would be: Hakushi [with Shinja] vs. Bret “The Hitman" Hart: Singles Match with 56/60

The lowest ranking match on this Card based on attributes that we see would be: Men on a Mission; Mabel [with Mo] vs. Adam Bomb: King of the Ring Qualifying Match with 26/60

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE In Your House #1 14/05/1995: Match 5/Part 5 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Match/Stipulation: Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. “The Hitman" Hart: Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 6/10

On Commentary: Dok Hendrix & Vince McMahon: 4/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 6/10

Recommend Watch: 6/10

Match Total: 36/60 - this match is good; before, during and after.

Comments: if you know anything about this feud; you know that this is just the antics of this feud, but is it just me or is Dok Hendrix commentary just getting worse? You know when the performer of any position just goes from Heel heat to just go away heat; for me please Dok Hendrix go away, but being fair and balanced if and I do stress if someone backstage is giving him this material in his headset if they are wearing them? Please just give him better material to say and stop hanging him out to dry on the other hand I have to give credit to Vince McMahon trying to keep things going and keeping it sensible.

Based on who picks up the W. here; I didn't think this individual had it in them to pull it off; good wrestling here [I don't know the name of this move and I have been trying to find it/research it online,] so here is a quick description this individual grabs hold of his opponents legs and flips over on top of the shoulders face up whilst holding his opponents legs for the three count. The "Hitman" injury was Kayfabe.

Basic Result: Jerry "The King" Lawler

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE In Your House #1 14/05/1995: Match 4/Part 4 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm! & Warning potentially upsetting ahead!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE In Your House #1 14/05/1995: Match 4/Part 4 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm! & Warning potentially upsetting ahead!

Match/Stipulation: The Smoking Gunns [Bart Gunn & Billy Gunn -  Kayfabe Brothers] vs. the WWF/WWE Tag Team Champions "The King of Hearts" Owen Hart  & Yokozuna [with Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji:] for the WWF/WWE Tag Team Championships.

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 6/10

Match Storyline: 4/10

Crowd Participation: 6/10

On Commentary: Dok Hendrix & Vince McMahon: 5/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 6/10

Recommend Watch: 5/10

Match Total: 32/60 - this match is mixed; it is a solid match, it just doesn't want to long

Comments: there is good chemistry between these two teams and including the managers involvement as well. This would be the first match I have seen of Owen Hart in a long time and even before I watch this match and through this match all I kept thinking about was The Blue Blazer [another alternative persona of Owen Hart] and that tragic event [because I was young some time ago now I was thinking it was a storyline/Kayfabe, but it wasn't.] I had forgotten the Pay-Per-View and year [after some research WWF/WWE Over The Edge 1999.] I was conflicted about watching this match should I miss it out? Should I just get through it [before I receive backlash let's keep in mind I don't mean this disrespectfully or I don't mean anything disrespectfully as it relates to this situation.]

So I have just come up with from now on just enjoying his matches I am sure I will be fine when I have made a decision 99.9% of the time I stick to it, discussing his wrestling, discussing his death if or when I come to this Pay-Per-View. Just to cover my back in the future if I should watch this Pay-Per-View I may not be fine and it may be uncomfortable viewing. I think his dying will clearly never leave me, yes I may have forgotten some details but the event is clearly still with me and I should imagine I am far from the only one that has a similar thinking process and outlook; I just couldn't let this match go without discussing what I have discussed.

But back on to this match the reason why it could have been short is because "The King of Hearts" was on double duty that night; before I continue I am sure this information is correct but at the same time I just want to cover my back by saying I don't trust this source; it was a Dark Match against The British Bulldog a King of the Ring Qualifying Match which ended up in a Draw.

I know Dok Hendrix is meant to be the Heel and Vince McMahon is meant to be the Face Commentator, but as this Pay-Per-View has progressed Vince McMahon has stayed at an excellent level Dok Hendrix on the other hand is nose-diving, consequently it feels like there is no chemistry between these two and it is staged which I know it is, but the general idea is to make it look and sound as if it isn’t.

Basic Result: "The King of Hearts" Owen Hart & Yokozuna [with Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji] retain their WWF/WWE Tag Team Championships.

Match/Stipulation: Men on a Mission; Mabel [with Mo] vs. Adam Bomb: King of the Ring Qualifying Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 5/10

Match Storyline: 1/10

Crowd Participation: 6/10

On Commentary: Dok Hendrix & Vince McMahon: 5/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 4/10

Recommend Watch: 5/10

Match Total: 26/60 - this match is mixed; it is okay for what it is

Comments: I don't know what I am meant to say here; because there are some good spots from both competitors, but this match is incredibly short; it basically uses the model of match similar to Braun Strowman vs. the Universal Champion Goldberg at WrestleMania 36/2020, not all the signature/finishing moves, but  time length and hard hitting yes and whilst I'm on the subject; now it is very true I have never been inside a wrestling ring so this just comes from many years of watching this simulated combat. But when Adam Bomb uses the ring ropes to go out or in to the ring; is it me or are these top ring rope a little bit more springy than what it should be? Because when Bomb uses them there seems to be some real give in them; but then again Bomb is not a small man by any stretch [I have watched this match again; I think it is because both competitors are not small men, the Ring seems to be struggling with that fact everywhere; maybe it should have been reinforced or something; let's just say it is easy to spot once you notice it.]

Basic Result: Men on a Mission; Mabel [with Mo] Qualifies for the King of the Ring Tournament

Match/Stipulation: "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon vs. the Intercontinental Champion "Double J"  Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie: 2-on-1 Handicap Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 9/10

On Commentary: Dok Hendrix & Vince McMahon: 8/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 45/60 - this match is good; this match and its aftermath is as my attributes would suggest comfortably good all the way around.

Comments: even though this match isn't as good as the previous one; it is still able to keep the momentum of this Pay-Per-View going.

Basic Result: "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon picks up the W. here

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 10/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 10/10

Recommend Watch: 10/10

Match Total: 56/60 - this match is lots of fun; this match is in its entirety/altogether is of very high quality.

Comments: I was thinking as my country [UK] is facing tougher restrictions currently through this global pandemic I was thinking I would be a comedian and watch this Pay-Per-View [In Your House being the joke.]

But moving on yes for my younger readers/viewers Mr. McMahon used to be on Commentary and he used to be excellent at it and based on research if there are any Dark Matches or Kick-Off Matches in short if I don't see them, I don't include them. But back to this match there is only one downside here and it kind of has, but hasn't got anything to do with this match [this will make sense momentarily.] But I feel sorry for the next match or matches after this; because as my attributes would suggest they will have to go some distance to equal this match or better it, so everyone involved in this situation has pretty much said to the locker room "Okay boys that is the standard, equal that or better that if you can?" And as a viewer I would like to say good luck there, yes I can remember an excellent percentage of wrestling knowledge, but not every small detail [as we progress throughout this Pay-Per-View you will understand why this match was on first.] I have to say I found it odd  why is there fireworks after the match? As this is the first much on this Pay-Per-View Card, I mean it's not like there is a Championship on the line or drop when this match comes to its conclusion and “The Hitman" seems to picks up an injury here; getting out of the ring; let’s see if it comes into play sometime in the future.

Basic Result: Bret “The Hitman" Hart
