Just a heads up/Disclaimer: I am not here to discredit anyone.

There has been no ink on paper; my point being until there is ink, there is nothing to worry about: so even though I acknowledge there is a lot of moving parts between AEW, WBD [Warner Bros. Discovery] and WWE. I mean it has come to my attention today that WBD is also separately dealing with the NBA rights which on some research is set to expire after 2024/2025 season.

So for those people that are revelling in the potential misfortune of AEW and I have seen a lot of you on social media, which I said in my connecting content I wouldn't give you the time of day, which is very true but they may [AEW] sticking around after all as WBD may or may not have the resources to purchase the rights to the WWE as they are looking for $400 million, after all and if they did, it may just mean AEW would be getting moved, which is not ideal, but hey hey; or they could just stick with AEW this and give them an improved deal when is the right time to do so.

I have to confess; I find the social media landscape as it relates to wrestling to be incredibly toxic, I should very quickly state for the majority they are at minimum reasonable, like I have seen this old chestnut of I don't want to see AEW fail or die, because without speaking for anyone; I should imagine even though you may or may not like AEW; they have greatly improved the WWE product, because you know and I know the WWE needs someone to keep them on the straight and narrow, I don't like saying competition, but it is quite clearly obvious that when the WWE was the only game in town, they became lazy; so, so lazy.

So as I also said in previous connecting content; it just sounds like business as usual, because if you have been around wrestling long enough, you would know that these occasions come up every few years of TV and rights negotiations and that is where we are right now. So even though it is news, depending on what source you go to, I prefer going to wrestling sources that use not direct language unless the situation in question becomes fact. So if a wrestling sources said possible hard times or difficult times ahead for AEW. For the fact that they said to possible I would say that what they general outlook which could be possible. But if someone says AEW is in danger or something to that effect, that is not true at this stage as in here and now, as you can tell or should be able to tell I am not a fan of f false news or/and click bait. I mean if anyone either is a content creator or thinking of becoming a content creator please use appropriate wording. You can absolutely have an different opinion to myself on any content you create but and this is a general can we stop mixing up fact with possibility or vice versa or anything like this. So to finish off this content I will adapt this expression my potential demise [AEW] was greatly exaggerated. [If it should happen you put a lot of opinion in your content, then pointed out as such as I do or use the word speculation likewise as I do; so I am not getting on anyone's case, it is just as this topic has shown; there is news here, but it isn't as far along as some people are saying.]

Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol 1987 by AverageMansReviews

Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol 1987 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/bodily functions/animal waste/breaking/vehicles crashing/burning/medical

Commandant Eric Lassard [George Gaynes:] he is still very much going senile but nonetheless he has been working on this program it is called "Citizens on Patrol" or in short C.O.P.: the idea is getting volunteers of the neighbourhood to be trained to be like a police officer; to hopefully have an understanding and to potentially work besides a police officer to hopefully build a cohesive neighbourhood and by doing so bringing crime down. Now whilst this program is being put in place in his own Police Academy; he is going to attend a Police Seminar in London. Commandant Lassard entrusts the success of the programme between his most loyal and faithful Officers led by Sargeant Carey Mahoney. But however the acting Captain Thaddeus Harris [G.W. Bailey:] strongly does not like this program, in fact need to the beginning of this instalment he complains to is superior Commissioner Henry Hurst [George R. Robertson:] throughout this entire franchise he acts how he should act for someone in his position so he fits in very nicely with his limited appearances, because in one way or another we have these bubbly, wacky and foiler characters you need at least one normal character throughout this franchise and he is it. But I digress; I am paraphrasing here; Commissioner Hurst tells at this point Captain Harris that until the general consensus changes on this program we all get on board with it. Luckily acting Commandant/Captain Harris has still got his loyal dimwit Lieutenant. Carl Proctor [Lance Kinsey:] which he has now gone from serving Commandant Mauser to Captain Harris and a limited appearances from Sargeant Chad Copeland [Scott Thompson.]

Now let's bring in some more new names; Mrs. Lois Feldman [Billie Bird:] she lives at this retirement home, she is a volunteer into the C.O.P. Program; she has a very similar mind set to Sargeant Eugene Tackleberry [David Graf] but with two differences; the first being there is about roughly 35 years between them and she gives zero dumplings, which makes her more fun. Kyle Rumford [David Spade:] is in the C.O.P. Program, well basically it was either this or some prison time and thanks to Sgt. Carey Mahoney he and his friend Arnie Lewis [Brian Backer] are in this program instead; which if you remember right back at the beginning of this franchise he was looking at a similar option. Claire Mattson [Sharon Stone:] she is a news reporter; reporting on the C.O.P. Program and finally we have a cameo from Tony Hawk as himself; now I didn't know this; until the person watch some of these films pointed it out in the ending credits sequence where you can see a younger version of him when they do this sequence with all these skateboarders.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 88 minutes film is good as always up to this point anyway [maybe just to cover my back in the future instalments, I haven't seen these films for a very long time.] You know they have a storyline to tell and just get on with it in a lively positive and manner.

Action/Art/Comedy; briefly let's begin; instructor/Officer Zed McGlunk [Bobcat Goldthwait] is screaming underwater in a swimming pool at the Police Academy basically come back here as Lewis was getting bored of demonstration and decided to go on the exercise bike but it had came off its stand and went flying off into the swimming pool; so Officer McGlunk looks at Lewis on this bike cycling; this is highly creative art and then he just slides in to the swimming pool and rescues Lewis, but however and sadly Mickey Mouse doesn't survive is ordeal. Later on; Sargeant Tackleberry goes into resolve this bank robbery by himself as Mrs. Fieldman is told to wait outside on a quick side note; in identical motorcycle please officers uniforms, which she does. But Sgt. Tackleberry gets taken as a hostage and from out of nowhere Mrs. Fieldman on this police motorcycle crashes through this bank's window so that Sargeant Tackleberry can take charge of this situation with her saying "Book em' Tack" and yes in the closing section of this sequel we have this really a lengthy comical and imaginative action sequences; briefly sometimes taking place on the ship [made for sailing on water but for this sequence is docked] or some other characters are chasing down this hot air balloon or/and a biplane in other biplane and yes we also have acting Commandant/Captain Harris and Lieutenant Proctor get involved, but their involvement quickly turns into they need rescuing as Lieutenant Proctor very clumsily shoots their hot air blown with shot gun and finally Sargeant Tackleberry jumps from a biplane onto a hot air blown; but don't worry your leaves the biplane in the capable hands of Officer Carl Sweetchuck and Officer McGlunk I am sure nothing can or will go wrong.

Character developments and performances; as the norm the character developments either of the newcomers or the newest returning or the returning characters/performances; feel welcoming and fluently does gel with at this point is long serving cast members; things are just getting better and better, because with more characters are establishing themselves; it just reinforces cameraderie of the characters and the cast of performers themselves.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; I think what helps with keeping these films entertaining is the fact that their storylines are noticeably slightly different like this one was focused on this program. This film also has an extra sequence at the end of it to tell you the cast names, this film also has two awards to its name and unfortunately no they are not the positive Image Awards (NAACP) Image Award Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture Michael Winslow [as Sergeant Larvell "Motormouth" Jones] and Razzie Awards 1988 Worst Original Song Brian Wilson Gary Usher For the song "Let's Go to Heaven in My Car".

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: AEW in Danger? 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up/Disclaimer: I am not here to discredit anybody, but I will also be defending somebody. But however I am here to slow down the speculation and just for the record I wasn't meant to do this content today I was meant to do other wrestling content instead but this seems more important.

I have listened to Nick Husman and another content creator: comments on this matter and he doesn't say anything about AEW being in direct danger or possible danger. I am not misquoting him or cherry picking what I want to hear; but generally speaking and looking from an overview prospective with paraphrasing here in summary is everything is up in the air between everyone that may or may not be concerned between possibly WWE or AEW or WBD or/and TNT/TBS. If you're wondering why I say listen it is because I am dyslexic, but I am smart enough to put it into a document so that I can use my computer program to hear it for myself.

But I digress; I can now confirm after listening to another source but there was a meeting on Monday 11/12/2023 between higher-ups of  TKO’s Marc Shapiro, the WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque a.k.a. Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan met with higher up WBD Executive/WBD Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer Bruce Campbell for a long time, it has also been said that Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel has been having positive discussions with other partners, this has all come around because of CM Punk that potential opportunity has come around.

Which as things stand could leave AEW without a home as WBD owns TBS and TNT; as they currently have the rights to show AEW content such as Dynamite, Rampage and Collision [I know they need this TV program especially for Punk;  which can I just say is and was a completely stupid idea, in the first place and I have never hidden my dislike for Punk, but in this case my thinking is it could have been anybody and I would have still said this was a stupid idea,] based on 3 reasons; 1 didn't anyone learn from the W CW and Hulk Hogan era and 2 this would give any wrestler generally speaking the idea of being untouchable and 3 what happens if the individual in question gets fired or leaves? Briefly because I don't want to give these individuals the time of day on a quick side note; anyone revelling in AEW's potential difficulties in the future are just very sad individuals.Because it is thanks to AEW that my interest in wrestling is still alive and well, you see I was just about to give it up when the WWE was doing that three way storyline involving Reigns, Ambrose  and Rollins; you know the real life aspect of it being cancer. You know you get to that point where I think I am just found my limit, but then I was hearing the workings of AEW and then AEW became real, yes I now watch some of the WWE/NXT content especially now someone [Mr. McMahon] at minimum either very little control or left I don't know this situation at this time As of this content being first created, I should really go and look into that. But that isn't my point here; AEW pulled me back in and I stayed, so as I have made reference to this it must be at minimum double figures by now AEW is good for the wrestling business, it keeps the WWE on their feet and focused. As JR Jim Ross made reference to some time ago and I am paraphrasing here but the sentiment is the same, if you don't like AEW  or the WWE you mustn't like wrestling then? I am not backtracking on anything I have ever said about the WWE, but there was always one constant and that was Mr. McMahon, so we get along much better now.

I am not being naive here, but I don't see there being a problem obviously yes absolutely I can see there being a massive potential problem. I am just talking about from the perspective of this just sounds like the usual potential TV negotiations; I mean it does happen from time to time and if I was AEW I would be concerned that you had all of these high-profile individuals in one place at the headquarters of Warner Bros. Discovery.

But after yesterday's content of Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: AEW estimated $34 million loss in 2023 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2023/12/reactionary-to-wrestling-news-of-aew.html I am not against AEW, but having said that I am not against the idea of maybe it is time to do some restructuring which I do briefly discuss in this linked content on any level; but to just finish off I don't see AEW in danger as things stand, but they have grown and sometimes in growing/changing sometimes it is painful.

Police Academy 3: Back in Training 1986 by AverageMansReviews

Police Academy 3: Back in Training 1986 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/burning/electrocution/references to racial and sexism

There can only be one Police Academy: as you may remember from the first review of this franchise I did make reference to; two Police Academy/Police Stations and now here, but they ran very differently, the first is very nurturing and hands on whilst the other is very militarised and very sterile; Commandant Eric Lassard [George Gaynes:] a highly experienced Commandant which yes I have just remembered he has a goldfish and yes he may be still a kind but increasingly senile individual is still the top guy at this Police Academy, but if he would like to keep this Academy up and running he is going to have a challenge on his hands; as this rival Police Academy and its top guy Commandant Ernie Mauser [Art Metrano:] yes this was the foiler in the previous film title and his right hand dimwit Sargeant Carl Proctor [Lance Kinsey,] but they will call upon some double agents in Sargeant Kyle Blankes [Brant Van Hoffman/Brant von Hoffman] and Sargeant Chad Copeland [Scott Thomson:] that if you have been watching these films in chronological order; you would know that they would love to stick it to now Sargeant Carey Mahoney [Steve Guttenberg] and his unit of comrades; which Commandant Lessard will call upon them again for their assistance as it simultaneously dawns upon him, Sargeant Larvell Jones [Michael Winslow] and Lieutenant Debbie Callahan [Leslie Easterbrook] all get the same idea. I will mention some other characters/performers I haven't mentioned yet in these instalments; so we have husband-and-wife Sargeant Douglas Fackler [Bruce Mahler:] an unknowing individual that is very clumsy and consequently dangerous to people around him. Violet Fackler/Cadet Violet Fackler [Debralee Scott:] once again if you have been watching these films in chronological order you would know; that from the first film she was dead against her husband joining the police force, but this time it is her husband's ride on the bonnet as she fully intends to join the police force and speaking of chronological order we have another two coming back for more Cadet Zed McGlunk and Cadet Carl Sweetchuck [Bobcat Goldthwait:] he used to be the leader of The Scullions in fact he used to intimidate and rob from Carl Sweetchuck [Tim Kazurinsky:] back when he had his own self titled store, but Zed has turned over a new leaf and Sweetchuck is probably set up of being pushed around, so hopefully joining the police force will give him some self-confidence.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 83 minutes film is good; as its predecessors it has a instalment to tell and as you can tell it has a reliably good story outlay to tell; basically of competition between two Police Academy's when one is more than enough.

Action/Comedy/Art; as I have already given you one example; I will give you a couple more; Sargeant Larvell Jones as his Bruce Lee inspired impersonation wants to take down these criminals in this location; as they are robbing these many high society people at this event on this lavish sailing vessel including taking the Governor Neilson [Ed Neilson:] in a nutshell; he announced at the beginning of the film that one of these academies will be closing; as a hostage. But Sargeant  Jones will receive assistance from one of their latest cadets; Cadet Tomoko Nogata [Brian Tochi:] a very nice Asian Cadet; that was transferred from Comdt. Mauser's Academy to Commandant Lassard Academy; he was originally a part of an international exchange program from Tachikawa Highway Patrol to study American methods on policing. But in this action sequence; Sargent and Cadet most definitely put foot to posterior as they quickly dispatch of these criminals and then doing this chilled out walk out of this location and briefly a little later we have this mass chasing sequence on water as this criminal has taken the Governor hostage and making a run for it in a speedboat with a selection of Commandant Lassard's personnel in hot pursuit on jet skis; including Sargeant Jones impersonating a submarine with a periscope as well. In fairness and balance I should point out Commandant Mauser and Lieutenant Proctor are trying to be in hot pursuit as well, but they are in a canoe with these paddles. The entirety of this big action ending sequence looks excellent and like good fun as well.

Character developments and performances; as the norm the character developments either of the newcomers or the newest returning or the returning characters/performances; feel welcoming and fluently does gel with at this point is long serving cast members.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; This film also has won an award to its name; 1 Winner Golden Screen, Germany 1986 Golden Screen [just the record and to cover my back it is the same award from the previous film title, but as it is here I have put it here as well.]

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: AEW estimated $34 million loss in 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: AEW estimated $34 million loss in 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: I am not a business expert or have any business education, but I do know little bits and pieces and disclaimer this is heavily speculated and opinion based.

Where to start really: well let's just talk about the elephant in the room straight away CM Punk $3 million a year contract, I am not pinning it on him, but however when you are paying this kind of money and all you get is some wrestling followed by in one way or another negative press which may or may not encourage people to stay away from your promotion.

Frustration with booking decisions [yes Tony Kahn doesn't have to listen, for an example the booking of the women's division] which consequently may lead onto the next problem.

The attendances going through a low [I have seen pictures doing their rounds on social media.]

Questionable infrastructure? For me this is a big one, because I know generally speaking businesses can run on a financial loss especially in the first lot of years. So I would say a small financial loss is okay as long as you had the infrastructure and if you don't know what this means; it basically means in a general sense you may spend money at the beginning on your infrastructure to make your money back and more later on down the line. So as it relates to AEW okay in 2023 you are running at a loss, but for an example do you have the infrastructure to recoup that kind of money and make more? Which I has to be completely honest this from an outsider perspective irritates me so, so much. Because I know the answer and/or they could have done this instead of doing this or that.

So why did you start AEW Heels? On one hand you are aware the you preach inclusivity and on the other hand then you come out with this idea/concept which excludes men/potentially others; so by definition this is hypocrisy but I digress and for $49/roughly £39 a year subscription and then you come up with the idea/concept/another actual thing of videogames AEW Fight Forever 2023 [just to cover my back I don't care who paid for what.] Because as far as I'm concerned there is only one thing that TK should have been doing and that is making his own version of the WWE Network okay maybe not spending the money just yet but you know planning so hypothetically speaking we could have said $34 million loss, but at least they now have the input structure such as a network of AEW/ROH content online [yes you didn't think I was just talking about having AEW content did you?] Yes which you could also include AEW Heels in this as well and put a 8 pounds a month either dollars or pounds on that [if I had this option yes I would pay it for this content] and without irritating your business partners you could say it is look you will still get first viewing we are just creating a library so our fan base can pick and choose when they watch and what they watch.

Use talent you already have; I mean this is pretty much self-explanatory, there is no point obviously if TK thinks this could be a game changer then bring the talent in. But I mean if you know, you know that if you don't know one of the reasons why you don't see sometimes and I mean big-name talents on screen is because they either turn down creative plans or don't want to lose so Kahn has got himself into an unfortunate situation where when these individuals contracts run out don't re-sign them, because they aren't worth the money if they aren't actually going to work for you; you may as well build up a fresh individual which without being disrespectful is on less money and if this individual did ask for an improved deal is still wouldn't be breaking the bank compared to the big-name that isn't willing to play the game actually they may as well go back and play with the game that they are used to playing and just on a quick side note; I am very much in favour of the fines thing; where if the talent voice their displeasure on social media they get fined, I have always found that kind of thing to be unprofessional regardless of most situations, I mean don't get me wrong in special circumstances I may allow it in one message on social media like; a wrestler putting out a message/tweet hypothetically saying I'm fine, I took a hit, I wasn't sure about this spot and I spoke about it with the person I was wrestling with tonight, but they convinced me it would be okay. I mean in this hypothetical message/tweet it is okay to be angry and it is more than okay to tell people you are fine, even though you have slightly bent the rules of being unprofessional or/and for an example if you get criticism for wrestling properly you have every right if you so wish to defend yourself online, just watch what you say.

I did say; give AEW 10 years to see what they really look like or something to that effect, I am not panicking about this promotion, actually I would prefer them to go slightly a little bit backwards to reinvest in their AEW established and build up new young talent, was when AEW was truly jumping as in noisy neighbours for the WWE but it has to be said 2023 has been one hell of a learning curve for AEW, as I have already referenced with any business starting up it can be financially hard so let's hope that things can pick up in 2024.

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment 1985 by AverageMansReviews

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment 1985 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/burning/animal waste/animal cruelty/breaking/vehicles crash/references to racial and sexuality

The 16th Precinct needs younger reinforcements: in a nutshell; Captain Pete Lassard [Howard Hesseman:] he calls upon his brother Commandant Lassard Eric Lassard [George Gaynes:] he is the top guy at the Police Academy, he is the older brother which for most of the time he is mentally sound, but there are some occasions where his mind gets things wrong so he comes off as senile; he helps out his younger brother by sending him some familiar faces such as Officer Laverne Hooks [Marion Ramsey:] she happens to be the shortest at this point and quietest of the recently graduated from the Police Academy [from the previous film] and often receives mocking from senior officers for quietness, but don't let her shortness or/and quietness fool you; when it is time she is like a panther; ready to make herself heard or ready for action. Their job is to take down this heinous group known as The Scullions led by Zed McGlunk [Bob Goldthwait/Bobcat Goldthwait:] this group leader comes off as a slight loony, but this is speculation at one point could have been a nice guy, but maybe got fed up with people not giving him the time of day because of his very distinctive voice [just to cover my back I know in a later film he makes reference to his voice. I was just thinking I would as I have already said to cover my back, so it isn't so much as speculation/opinion mixed with knowledge of this franchise.] On top of that we have a new foiler in Lieutenant Ernie Mauser [Art Metrano:] he is also a Watch Commander for this precinct and not forgetting he is a suck up and will do anything to get ahead in his career, so if Captain Pete Lassard fails to clear up his precinct within a certain amount of t time Lieutenant Mauser will receive a promotion and take over this precinct, Lieutenant Mauser also has a sidekick/a position of a servant Sargeant Carl Proctor [Lance Kinsey:] he is a dimwit and if between them they are successful; he will take over as Watch Commander

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 87 minutes film is good; you know as you can probably guess because this film is only 87 minutes long, it doesn't have time to mess around so the storyline and progression of that storyline is nice and simple yet effective; we have an instalment of this franchise to tell so let's just get on with it; that approach to things.

Action/Comedy; briefly; we have this robbery going down at Sweetchuck's Store Robbery and basically we have too many good willed Police Officers descending on this location and there is not any communication so these selection of characters lay waste and contents of the shop [Sweetchuck's; owned by Carl Sweetchuck [Tim Kazurinsky:] a short individual that comes across as very straightlaced and has no backbone  running into thousands upon thousands

later on; my favourite action sequence; briefly Officer Larvell Jones coming across these two individuals intimidating his greengrocer; so he performs this running jump over this grid fence; he debuts in your character which can be signified by this Asian bandanna and this incredibly old martial arts sound effect made by him; as he swiftly moves into this Bruce Lee inspired martial artist including and this is an incredibly old movie reference as well. Now I am not being racist in the slightest it was just the way things were back then; so way back when you saw Asian films; the English dubbing really, and when I say it really wasn't in sync I am just being nice in some cases. So this impersonation has incorporated that element of Asian films as Officer Larvell Jones takes down these two criminals with his greengrocer is worrying about some of his groceries getting squashed by these criminals.

Character developments and performances; the newcomers as it relates to their character types and performances to slot in perfectly and for the returning characters and performances they have been well progressed; but as like its predecessor the chemistry is faultless in this cast.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; on reflection again I have decided to award my top marks, because the person I watched this sequel with as well as its predecessor ask me basically what was wrong with it for you to give it a lesser and in hindsight I couldn't find anything of major substance to pick it apart. As I have already made reference to it is only 87 minutes long, it moves things are mostly and brings in some new characters so what else would I want really? I mean you still have the upbeat/wacky comedy content so I went with top marks. This film also has won an award to its name; 1 Winner Golden Screen, Germany 1986 Golden Screen

Police Academy 1984 by AverageMansReviews

Police Academy 1984 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/burning/animal cruelty/references to racial and sexuality

Police Academy or County Lock up?: In summary; these are the two choices which lay before Carey Mahoney/Cadet Carey Mahoney/Officer Carey Mahoney [Steve Guttenberg:] he can't stop getting into minor trouble on a consistent basis; he agrees to go to the Metropolitan Police Academy which is also connected to the Police Station for this district [this is not the only Police Academy/Polices Station for this district but that is for a later film title;]but I digress; under one condition that he can take someone with him. Monsignor Larvell Jones/Doctor Monsignor Larvell Jones MD./Cadet Monsignor Larvell Jones/Officer Monsignor Larvell Jones [Michael Winslow:] he and Mahoney and just recently met in this police station and likewise he has been brought in for causing mischief, but in his case he has a very unique talent/skill you can make a sound effects with his voice which he gladly shows Mahoney after Mahoney asks what are you in for? So Jones shows him by making very realistic gun shooting effects and consequently terrifies everyone.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 96 minutes film; it has been neatly and tidily put together; as this film follows a very simple yet effective origin storyline approach and within that; we have the old school approach of skit or sketch scene set-up and varieties. But I have to be slightly selective on the ones I can discuss and so that I can namedrop some more characters in the/performers names Moses Hightower/Cadet Moses Hightower/Officer Moses Hightower [Bubba Smith:] as his name would suggest he is incredibly tall and strong so as it relates to another comedy/action example where it comes to the climbing wall in this obstacle course instead of climbing it, he just casually pushes it over and walks on over it as Lieutenant Thaddeus Harris [G. W. Bailey:] is startled by the obstacle wall falling down just in front of him and what he has just seen. In a nutshell he is a instructor of Squad-D in his words it stands for "Dirtbags" and finally he is the foiler to the success of basically getting average people to be police officers and alongside him is Sergeant Debbie Callahan [Leslie Easterbrook:] like I have just said she is also an instructor, she is a stern individual that is highly trained and putting this really nicely she has a well-developed figure.

Security Guard Eugene Tackleberry/Cadet Eugene Tackleberry/Officer Eugene Tackleberry [David Graf:] he is a very militarised individual by the way of his appearance; he turns up to the Police Academy in one of those militarise Jeeps including combat clothing [ design,] the way he talks and not forgetting his little [when I say little I mean big obsession] of guns and the weaponry anything military to be honest. I will take you through his second gun sequence basic description; you have this gun and you have someone following you to keep score of what targets you hit correctly like a pop-up criminal or wrongly a pop-up innocent individual and you have to shoot the right ones when they pop-up. But of what the viewers see and hear Cadet Tackleberry completely goes Rambo by going off the course and behind these prop shooting it then putting it through and shooting some more and not forgetting to do the classic action hero thing of jumping/tumbling over this car bonnet and continuing to act like a action hero madman.

Character developments and performances; they are faultless character types of what they are meant to be, including fluent and likewise faultless performances of those character types; this is very much a cast performance; which regardless of who comes in and out of this franchise; they all seem to just gel. Without getting too political there is an element of sadness to this film and it isn't this film's fault or this entire franchise. This film was made in 1984 and when this content was first created it is now the back end of 2023. The element of sadness is the fact; whomever and I mean this by character or performer as long as you are a good person; these bunch of misfits will accept you regardless of; Caucasian, African American, very tall, very short or very large chest or a militarise gun happy individual or any other characteristics we have coming in this sequels. Yet in reality you say anything slightly wrong or it doesn't match up with the general consensus or this person isn't good-looking or someone that is different for an example in a wheelchair is generally speaking of voided like the plague. But back onto something a little bit more positive; for those that have seen this franchise front to back I should just point out I can't mention them at the moment, because they have not been brought into the franchise.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; yes full disclosure on reflection I have decided to award the full marks based on; it fulfils the origin outline, it is entertaining and it is most definitely one of those films that you have to see once in your lifetime and it does have an extra sequence throughout the closing credits. This film has some awards accredited to its name; 1 Winner Golden Screen, Germany 1985 Golden Screen and 1 Nominee Jupiter Award 1985 Best International Film Hugh Wilson
