Snakes on a Plane 2006 by AverageMansReviews

Snakes on a Plane 2006 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: now until today I had never seen this film and in a nutshell I have to ask how did this film get given the green light to go ahead into production.

Fundamental elements: there are place jumps, there are cultural elements and the background music is really easy to pick up on and it does nothing for me whatsoever.

Snakes perspective: now at some points in this title the audience gets to see things from the snake’s perspective, this element is okay.

Action sequences: there are weapons being used, training and other bits and pieces.

Performances: now if you want three reasons to watch this project here they are:  Samuel L. Jackson, Samuel L. Jackson and Samuel L. Jackson, I know this is just one point but in fairness this is such a good point I was thinking I would use it three times. How can I put this; he just makes things happen [I am not talking about the script,] he gives this film a sense of direction or his stage presence, gives this film life, his dialogue exchanges to anyone or with anyone gives this title a sense of realism.

This film receives: 4/10, I am going to say this; now if this film didn't have Samuel L. Jackson as Neville Flynn/the lead role, this film would be receiving less marks, but with him in this title and as the lead role he takes this poor film and at least tries to make something of it.

WarGames: The Dead Code 2008 by AverageMansReviews

WarGames: The Dead Code 2008 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film does have good elements, but then again it does have some issues as well.

Fundamental elements: there are time jumps, place jumps, words on screen including numbers as well. The background music is noticeable and a consistent theme and there are cultural elements

Computers elements/Technical elements: I would feel comfortable suggesting these elements are the strongest positives to this title, because they always seem to keep this project going and more importantly interesting and they keep this film watchable.

Weapons being used: there are weapons being used in this project.

Performances: they are all okay.

This film receives: 5/10, now taking everything into consideration this marking just about feels right, I mean the background music is annoying every time it is in effect, but the computers and technical elements are indeed worthwhile watching.

Inconceivable 2017 by AverageMansReviews

Inconceivable 2017 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is terrible at no stage did I find it interesting or something I could easily watch in fact this project is torture.

Fundamental elements: there are time jumps including place jump or jumps I cannot remember, there are background music elements and mental imagery. I really don't know what to say about this film, it really doesn't give me too much to work with here, it is just really, really slow in everything it does from beginning to end.

Performances: they are poor.

This film receives: 1/10, I wasn't joking when I said this film doesn't give me too much to work with, don't get me wrong there are other elements I could bring up, like this film never gets out of first gear and there are some weapons being used and so on, but I don't discuss every element of every project I review so I will leave it there.

Lethal Weapon 4 1998 by AverageMansReviews

Lethal Weapon 4 1998 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film title is the weakest out of the four films [starring Mel Gibson as Martin Riggs and Danny Glover as Roger Murtaugh.] Now don't get me wrong this film is consistently interesting, but this is not one of those film titles that I can watch to often, there needs to be a certain amount of time before I may sit down and watch it again.

Fundamental elements: there is a time jump, place jumps words on screen,  there are cultural elements including subtitles which if you look close but not too close, I think there are some occasions where the subtitles are not being used when another character is speaking another language I could be wrong. But when the subtitles are on screen there are of decent size and white, but after some time I was struggling to read them, maybe they were too quick on and off screen I don't know, moving on there is this background music used in this title it is just there really and nothing more.

Comedy level: this element is consistently being used in different ways, be it in the dialogue exchanges or these scenes; talking about mobile telephones or the dentist scenes [where we have some characters trying to get some information out of another character,] these elements are funny.

Action sequences: these scenes or sequences are reliably entertaining with plenty of weapons being used, combat elements or chasing or something else.

Performances: they are all okay, you know what I mean, there isn't anything wrong with them, such as maturing the returning characters or using their character developments or chemistry to make this film feel like a Lethal Weapon film and the newcomers are reliable as well.

This film receives: 6/10, now as I was previously saying using their character developments or chemistry to make this film feel like a Lethal Weapon film what I meant by this is this; the first three films of this franchise feel like a Lethal Weapon film or films but this one now and again feels like it is having to work hard to be a Lethal Weapon film

Jungle 2017 by AverageMansReviews

Jungle 2017 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: generally speaking this title is a little bit of a slow burner.

Fundamental elements:  there are voice-over elements [from our lead character.] Now I did get a bit lost as it relates to the time jumps or place jumps or subtitles or any text on screen, because it is yellow and tiny, it was and is very easy for someone like me with my reading difficulties to find it hard work or at the very least difficult to pick up on and on a side note I think now and again the text clashes with the scene it is a part of because I kept losing it on screen or missing it [the only reason I know it was there is because someone pointed it out to me.] There are cultural elements, mental imagery [sometimes dreams] and this is just a small list of things you should see in this project.

Performance: Daniel Radcliffe as Yossi Ghinsberg, when this performer is on his own, this film feels much better as Radcliffe can and does control the scenes around him with a strong stage presence which I have to say Redcliffe looks comfortable and more than able to spend heavy amounts of this project on his own putting in this very high quality performance.

This film receives: 6/10, even though I have just been highlighting the biggest positive to this title, my figure is based on an overview perspective and the more I think about it, the more I am comfortable with this figure because the elements such as the small yellow text of any description is just so off-putting

Zack and Miri Make a Porno 2008 by AverageMansReviews

Zack and Miri Make a Porno 2008 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: I don't know what to say about this film really, because it doesn't give me much to work with here.

Fundamental elements: this film does move consistently, but then again I was very aware of the time whilst watching this project, there are background music bits and pieces which did nothing for me in the slightest including there is a time jump and place jump of three months [words on screen to this effect roughly.]

Comedy level: well generally speaking it is a mixed bag really, from the perspective of as soon as you begin to watch this project, you will understand that the comedy level is somewhat low which if managed correctly can be okay or have its moments in this title. But there are many moments where the comedy level just is painful to watch, because how can I put this; it just goes down to a level where this film doesn't need to go down to and on a side note the Star Wars elements are funny.

Performances: Elizabeth Banks as Miri and Seth Rogen as Zack have very good chemistry working off one another, their dialogue exchanges are to a high standard.

This film receives: 4/10, in a nutshell between Banks and Rogen they are the driving force behind this title, but based on my viewing experience this number just about feels right, because yes I can see the good elements but if I had to choice to watch this film again would I, the response would be probably not.

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 75: Cliff Hanger by AverageMansReviews

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 75: Cliff Hanger by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed, but I have a lot said about this episode

5 things about this episode

V.E.N.O.M. demonstration: at the beginning of this episode there are these voice-over elements by Miles Mayhem [the leader of V.E.N.O.M.] over these scenes or sequences showing what some of his members of his group can do with their weapon systems/vehicles.

Character developments: now as far as I am concerned, they have left it too late [way, way too late for these kind of things,] such as the back story or some of it between Miles Mayhem and Matt Tracker [the leader of M.A.S.K.] and I just have to point out when was it common knowledge that these two characters are in control of these two groups individually, because most people seem to know it.

Racing/Action sequences: these elements are good

Ending message: in a nutshell it is this; when leaving your dog in your car leave a small gap in the window for the temperature to stay cool , because if not your dog will get hot and wouldn't be able to breathe

This episode receives: 54% approval, now if there were more episodes to come I would say it would have plenty to work with here, but as this is the final episode from my unbiased perspective they kind of rushed everything, let me put it this way I could easily justify just another two episodes using the formula of part 1 and 2 and call it "The Final Battle" and as this is the final episode I just wanted to say there are new weapon systems/vehicles which have either wheels or  caterpillar-tracks on them  or something else, by the way if I have missed something out about these newest weapon systems or in some cases weapons systems/vehicles I think it would be a good time just to point out I never discuss everything in any project, but you will see the newest weapon systems or weapon systems/vehicles in the later episodes.

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 74: The Battle for Baja by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good

5 things about this episode

Racing elements/Action sequences: these elements are good

Character developments: now at the beginning of this episode and at different stages there are elements to suggest that if these two characters were not on two different sides, they may have in another world got along [okay when you come to watch this episode if these two characters were on the same side anyway, there connection to one another would have been hit or miss as it relates to them getting along. The reason why I am discussing this in such depth is to make this point; why do this kind of groundwork for future episodes when there is only one episode left.

Underground elements: these elements are good as well

Ending message: in a nutshell it is this; if you smell gas firstly open a window, secondly call the Gas Company and finally and most importantly don't light a match. This is another occasion where I should just say this; disclaimer if anything goes wrong in any of these situations, I will not be held responsible I am just simply talking about these ending messages and nothing more.

This episode receives: 60% approval, this episode is comfortably interesting throughout.

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 73: High Noon  by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good

5 things about this episode

Racing elements/Action sequences: these elements are good

No-show list: the M.A.S.K. computer and this is just a little list.

Underground elements: at least these elements are something different and not only that they are good as well.

Ending message: in a nutshell this ending message is this: wear a helmet [in this example Scott is sitting on T-Bob,] the first thing I should point out is this; this message is very important for health and safety reasons. But the second thing I want to say is this; I could be wrong, in fairness I cannot remember all of these episodes, just to cover my own back if he has done it is only for very rare occasions [but I am at least 85% sure] I think Scott has never worn a helmet whilst sitting on T-Bob before this ending message and in the opening credits to this TV program Scott is on T-Bob at some point and he still isn't wearing a helmet.

This episode receives: 70% approval, now let's be fair this episode does have many interesting to good elements to work with and it does stick to its plan and after many previous episodes which were mixed I am just happy to have one episode that has some kind of push behind it going forward from beginning to end.

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 72: For One Shining Moment by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed

5 things about this episode

Motorsports/Action sequences: the first thing I want to say is this; yes the racing sequences or the Demolition Derby [in the interest of fairness, because I haven't seen the next episodes if they wanted to put on another Derby, that would be interesting, but just one more, because I think they have only done one Demolition Derby at this point anyway] or anything other are good elements, but the second thing I want to say is this; they are getting a bit tiresome now, but the action sequences are still good.

Split-screens: these are small elements to this episode but they are good.

No-show list: Scott, T-Bob, the M.A.S.K. computer and this is just a little list.

Ending message: in a nutshell, in an earthquake situation go and stand in a door frame or underneath a table. Now this does feel like one of those situations where I should use one of these; disclaimer if you are ever in one of these situations, I will not be held responsible for anything that goes wrong [if it does] I am just simply talking about this ending message and nothing more [and this goes for any ending message that appears in any TV program I review.]

This episode receives: 52% approval, as I have already said in one way or another in this review there are some good elements, but these episodes need some form of freshening up even if it is just to get us over the finishing line [the end of this TV series.]

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 71: Challenge of the Masters by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed

4 things about this episode

Racing elements/Action sequences: these elements are good and I think I may have pointed out in one previous review, that I wasn't too sure if Alex Sector had a new weapon system [Tollbooth thing, I would like to say vehicle with that as well.] Because it must be able to if it is in this episode.

No-show list: Scott, T-Bob, the M.A.S.K. computer and this is just a little list.

Ending message: in this case I will have to make a small adaption to this ending message [but it will make sense,] in a nutshell it is this; in case of real emergencies call 911 [in the US] or 999 [in the UK,] it feels like one of those occasions where I should say this; this is a disclaimer if anyone should use these two numbers, I will not be held responsible for any actions, I am just simply pointing out this ending message.

This episode receives: 53% approval, I don't know what to say really, because I have either said it before as it relates to the recent previous episodes, but it is either this TV program has nothing left to give us as it relates to completely different storylines, the M.A.S.K. computer back and many other things so yes we will get over the finishing line [meaning the end of this TV program] but very, very slowly [on a side note I have decided to just do four things about this episode, because I haven't done a different number of things for some time, the different numbers being 3 or 4 or 5 things.]

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 70: Race Against Time by AverageMansReviews

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 70: Race Against Time by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed

5 things about this episode

Racing elements/Action sequences: these elements are good.

Masks off: well I don't know what to say really, because in this episode characters of M.A.S.K. and V.E.N.O.M. [apparently this stands for Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem] I have looked on some websites for this full name, but my point is this; I think most of these characters used in this episode now know what they look like underneath their masks which if you have been reading these reviews of this TV series, this kind of thing really irritates me. Because what is the point of wearing these masks if you are going to take them off in front of your adversary or anybody or have your son say something to the effect of "Dad" or anything else you can think of, I mean it just makes no sense and it just really, really, really irritates me and whilst I am on the subject of masks I think Miles Mayhem [the leader of V.E.N.O.M] has three different kinds, I could be wrong but what I can remember he has three of them and I have forgotten how many Matt Tracker has [ the leader of M.A.S.K.] but then again what is the point of having them, if you are going to show your face off anyway, okay I will stop making this point now.

No-show list: Scott, T-Bob, the M.A.S.K. computer and this is just a small list

Ending message: I think there are two ending messages here, the first one is where a M.A.S.K. character says something to the effect of I cannot tell a lie and then tells the truth to another  M.A.S.K. character [there three  M.A.S.K. characters in this situation,] then moving on two of the three  M.A.S.K. characters from the previous scene are talking about this; if you plug too many things into the socket, you may overload the system and one of these two characters says this little rhyme of if it overload it may explode.

This episode receives: 48% approval, now don't get me wrong there are some good elements in this episode, but the whole masks off thing, well it just didn't sit too well with me.

M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 8] Episode 69: The Battle of the Giants by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed

5 things about this episode

M.A.S.K. character: now in this episode we have this M.A.S.K. character talking to himself while on his weapon system/vehicle [and just for the record it wasn't a inner-monologue kind of thing or voice-over elements, because his voice sounded like it was coming directly from underneath his mask.]

Racing elements/Action sequences: these elements are good.

No-show list: Matt or Scott Trakker, T-Bob, the M.A.S.K. computer and this is just a small list.

Ending message: in a nutshell; never hide anywhere you cannot get out of such as a fridge or freezer

This episode receives:  50% approval, yes this episode does have some good elements but these episodes are becoming a little bit tiresome now.
