Review Time: I don't know what to say about this film really,
because it doesn't give me much to work with here.
Fundamental elements: this film does move consistently, but
then again I was very aware of the time whilst watching this project, there are
background music bits and pieces which did nothing for me in the slightest
including there is a time jump and place jump of three months [words on screen
to this effect roughly.]
Comedy level: well generally speaking it is a mixed bag really,
from the perspective of as soon as you begin to watch this project, you will
understand that the comedy level is somewhat low which if managed correctly can
be okay or have its moments in this title. But there are many moments where the
comedy level just is painful to watch, because how can I put this; it just goes
down to a level where this film doesn't need to go down to and on a side note
the Star Wars elements are funny.
Performances: Elizabeth Banks as Miri and Seth Rogen as Zack
have very good chemistry working off one another, their dialogue exchanges are
to a high standard.
This film receives: 4/10, in a nutshell between Banks and
Rogen they are the driving force behind this title, but based on my viewing
experience this number just about feels right, because yes I can see the good
elements but if I had to choice to watch this film again would I, the response
would be probably not.
