Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 3: Silence My Companion, My Death Destination by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 3: Silence My Companion, My Death Destination by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Arcade/Video game/Computers/Chessboard: now all these elements are very good, for the younger generations [when this goes out] an arcade is where you go to socialize, possibly eat and drink something and play video games or similar kinds of games [like for an example 2P machines.] The videogame element I am talking about is where one character is playing this videogame and the audience can see what is happening with her again [I think there is another small scene which uses the videogame elements, but I could be wrong.]

Moving on the computer or computers elements are where we have James Rhodes and other characters using these computers to help out Tony Stark/Iron Man and because I really do like the next element I will be discussing, I will not be discussing it too heavily because I don't want to give everything away, but the Mandarin's chessboard shows great imagination [it is something when or if you choose to watch this episode, you won't be able to miss it.]

Character developments: now hopefully we will only be seeing this character once [quick description of this character a female possibly teenager,] her character developments as it relates to her personality and dialogue are simply put just annoying.

This episode receives: 7/10, yes this episode does have many positive elements to it including some I haven't mentioned, but this one character as I have already said is just annoying or if you don't find her annoying to begin with you will be annoyed at the end of this episode, now on a side note yes I did replay this episode, because I went back and focused on the previous episode and I did replay some elements of this episode as well, but as usual if it doesn't bring anything to the review in question I will not mention this again unless I really have to or choose to.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 2: Data In, Chaos Out by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 2: Data In, Chaos Out by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent.

TV/Communication elements: I really do like these TV elements, because they assist with this episode hitting the ground running from beginning to end and these elements look to be a great source of information for its characters and viewers, the communication elements have great value as well for one example in this episode Tony Stark talks to the President of the United States of America on this massive screen/monitor.

Storyline/Names: this storyline is interesting and very well put together. yes I did replay some elements of this episode, in fact I went back and watched it again, because when I was watching the next episode I wasn't satisfied with the quality of this review the way it was and in a nutshell I did get some elements wrong the first time around [which I thought I did or at the very least missed a bit out which I did, so in this episode James Rhodes, gets called James or Jim or Jimbo I think [I could be wrong] it didn't irritate me, this is just an observation or hearing point.

This episode receives: 8/10, as I have already said this episode is excellent but there are potentially some characters that may become annoying, the more I watch of this TV program. But then again based on these two episodes there is just so many things happening that the good to excellent and beyond elements will hopefully cover up the shortcomings of this TV program and on a quick side note this episode still gets an 8/10, it doesn't matter how many times I watch it.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 1: And the Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 1: And the Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent.

Fundamental elements: this episode does have a time jump with words on screen and place jumps, now this episode and I think this is going to be a consistent element, so I may as well just get it out of the way with, I could be wrong but I am sure or 90% sure that this TV program uses background music like this most of the time [you will have to watch it to find out what I mean,] but if you don't I will just say this; it isn't annoying, it assists with the scene or sequence it is a part of in a nutshell all I am trying to say is; it is noticeable and if you don't like it or any of it to begin with, you're going to struggle with it throughout this TV series. But for me I can see its purpose and as I have already said it assists with the scene or sequence that it is a part of.

3-D elements/Action sequences: now I don't want to talk about these elements for too long, simply because I don't want to give everything away and yes these 3-D elements may look a little bit vintage by today's standards but they are still very good and show great imagination, moving on to the action sequences they are lots of fun and give this episode great value

This episode receives: 9/10, this episode hits the ground running and doesn't look back it is an excellent start to this TV program, just based on this episode I think I am going to have the same problem as I did with Wolverine and the X-Men 08 -- 09, where these episodes have great value to them, where it is going to be difficult to decide what mark to give these individual episodes, like for an example I am struggling with an 8 or 9 for this episode, I think I am going to go with a 9, briefly this episode shows the audience what this TV program has to offer, I originally went for an 8 but I changed my mind, on a side note I should just take a couple of minutes to explain Disc A,1 now the DVD it says Disc A, but when you play the UK DVD [I don't know if it is different for different regions,] but it says Disc 1 when you come to watch the DVD.

Wolverine and the X-Men 08 -- 09 [Volume 4] Episode 26: Foresight: Part 3 by AverageMansReviews

Wolverine and the X-Men 08 -- 09 [Volume 4] Episode 26: Foresight: Part 3 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Fundamental elements/Storyline: there are place jumps and time jumps. This storyline well to be honest in theory they did just about cover everything minus one detail of what I can remember and this episode feels rushed. Yes I did say in theory and of what I can remember, because the final section to this episode is just mind blowing to see what is coming up next and then to realize we will never ever see it, even if they didn't show us this section, I was still going to criticize it because this is why I was concerned about them running out of time and episodes, if my memory is correct this character only shows up twice in this season [I could be wrong] but let me put it this way I would have preferred to see this storyline develop over 26 episodes, over the storyline that this season covers that is for sure [I know that sounds crazy considering I have only seen a small piece of it, but it looks great and looks like a lot of fun to.]

Action sequences/Character developments: there are many upon many action sequences happening in different places and different times which give this episode some great value, but moving on it has to be said I didn't think too much to this one character either [this vision of him or her] in big capital letters I am not fussed that this version is voiced by a woman, I am just talking about the visual look of this character and it does nothing for me whatsoever, all I am going to say is this; give me the version from the X-Men 1992 -- 1997 TV program any day of the week, but in the interest of fairness and balance, this character has some good action elements.

This episode receives: 7/10, now the thing is I am somewhat stuck here, because for most parts this episode has many good elements [yes Scott is still being annoying,] but generally speaking we have non-stop action and other things happening as well, but then again we have the points I have made in this review, so taking everything into consideration a 7 out of 10 is a mark I am comfortable with, but disappointed at the same time.

The Mummy 1999 by AverageMansReviews

The Mummy 1999 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this project is mixed

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, word or words and numbers on screen, time jumps and place jumps. There are cultural elements with or without subtitles, it should be pointed out I don't think I like this text that the subtitles are in, meaning yes I am aware that I have dyslexic tendencies, but there are moments where I really did struggle to read this text, this may be because of the scene or scenes it is a part of, sometimes the text shows up better, but even then I wasn't too keen on the text. Now where I think there is some dialogue exchanges where an interpreter is being used I can't remember this element to well so I could be wrong, so it could be no interpreters or interpreter or interpreters, because I can remember there being interpreters of what these characters discover or find, but moving on there is background music being used, generally speaking it is okay and it does its job.

The reason why I am not being too harsh on myself for not clearly remembering elements of this project, well simply put this title does have some either boring elements or really boring and tedious elements to it, I am really trying not to give too much away but this film needs the character Imhotep [when he comes back into the project,] for this title to be interesting and show some signs of knowing what it is meant to be doing in the first place, after this character has come back this film moves consistently well and it does become interesting, slightly amusing and entertaining.

Comedy level: this in itself ranges from irritating to okay to good or just around this word, like for an example I can't stand the library sequence, in a nutshell it is where all these bookcases or something to that effect fall over like dominos, it just feels like this whole sequence was designed for a cheap giggle, of what I can remember the other comedy elements of any style in this project, don't feel so easily set up, I just don't like being told when or if I should find something funny or not and yes I did find some elements funny or well-placed, but this isn't one of those moments.

Action sequences: there are plenty of weapons being used and other elements. Now the elements I liked these characters that get released by one of our main characters, these characters that come out of the ground  [these characters may or may not be connected to the characters that had been released by this main character] and these other characters carrying what seems to be a spear and a shield.

Performances: they are all okay.

This film receives: 4/10, I was going to give this film a 5 out of 10 but as I cannot remember too much about this title and I only watched it last night, that should tell you roughly all you need to know really, but don't get me wrong there are some good looking occasions like for one example I like how these mirrors are used to bring some kind of light into this place, but generally speaking and being fair this project is mixed and just before I finish yes I did like these action sequences or characters which I have spoken about in this review, but whilst dictating this review I had to stop and re-watch these elements again to make sure I got everything right the first time around in this review, which I didn't.

Wolverine and the X-Men 08 -- 09 [Volume 4] Episode 25: Foresight: Part 2 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent

Fundamental elements/Storyline: there are place jumps and time jumps. This storyline like the previous episode has lots going on, but without giving too much away I still think we are going to run out of time to fit everything in.

Artistic visions: yes once again we get to see Logan's sniffing/hunting abilities being shown in this episode and this time there was this kind of white smoky effect around them, don't get me wrong I still like the idea of Logan's abilities being shown, but why use two different effects for the same thing it is just confusing.

Action sequences: Eric reprogramming these Sentinels and many other elements.

This episode receives: 8/10, as an individual episode it is lots and lots of fun, but as we only have one more episode to go, the next episode has so much work to do.

Wolverine and the X-Men 08 -- 09 [Volume 4] Episode 24: Foresight: Part 1 by AverageMansReviews

Wolverine and the X-Men 08 -- 09 [Volume 4] Episode 24: Foresight: Part 1 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent

Fundamental elements/Storyline: there are place jumps and time jumps. This storyline looks like it is going to be massive and yes I haven't seen the next episode or episodes, but based on the facts in front of me mixed in with my feelings, I just have this feeling that we are going to run out of episodes or at least struggle to fit everything in [I could be wrong, but in fairness to myself I am dealing with here and now.]

Artistic visions: I really did like this element which I am now about to discuss, but I am now a little bit confused because in Episode 17: Code of Conduct, they used a similar element where Logan was seeing these previous events in this kind of this white smoky effect [and just for the record I did like this a lot as well.] But this is where I am a little bit confused in this episode these images are faint and no white smoky effects are being used, but the audience gets the impression that Logan is sniffing these events out. So does that mean he was sniffing out the previous events in Episode 17: Code of Conduct or was he been shown them because if I had to take a guess he was being shown in episode 17 and smelling them out in this episode or he could be smelling them out in episode 17 and I didn't pick up on it or I could be wrong on everything I have pointed out in this paragraph, besides the fact that these elements look amazing in these two individual episodes [yes I am aware that Logan may have done other sniffing or shown other hunting abilities in other episodes,] but these two examples are similar yet completely different and as everyone should know by now I don't discuss everything in every project I review.

Dialogue exchanges/Action sequences: they are of a high quality from beginning and the action sequences are fun as well [like these Sentinels flying through the air in the present day.]

This episode receives: 8/10, if the truth was known I was going to give this episode a 7 or an 8 out of 10, in fact I had to re-dictate some bits and pieces of this episode, I did change my mind, because yes this episode has lots of things happening, but I am genuinely concerned if everything is going to be covered or dealt with before the closing credits of the final episode, but as a single episode as I have already said it has a lot of things happening which are highly entertaining.
