The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud 2020 [alternative name Max Cloud] by AverageMansReviews

The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud 2020 [alternative name Max Cloud] by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/impaling/cutting/decapitation/disintegrating/disfigurement-remaining fragments/burning

Get ready and embrace the goofiness: Brooklyn in the 1990; after Sarah Noble [Isabelle Allen] gets brought into this videogame known as The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud or Max Cloud [I am taking an educated guess that this is at least one of the titles of this videogame, because we don’t see the opening sequence to this videogame] as this chef character known as Jake [Elliot James Langridge] by this very powerful witch; Space Whitch [Jason Maza,] it is a mixture between her, her friend Cowboy [Franz Drameh] and her dad Tony [Sam Hazeldine] that can control her/Jake in the real world using a joy pad or other accessory. But don't worry Sarah/Jake is not the only character going through this adventure, we need Captain Max Cloud [Scott Adkins] and other videogame characters/another player, to stop the evil Revengor [John Hannah] and Shee [Lashana Lynch.]

Like I said earlier get ready and embrace the goofiness, because this is precisely what you will have to do, because it is a more or less ever present minus a few moments here and there straight off the bat; Jake is hanging upside down with these white gloves on something like Mickey Mouse wears, quickly followed by meeting Captain Cloud; he has this entrance like this highly decorated, science fiction, adventure and action character with background music to match as he is trying to reach/talking to someone on his communicator from this dialogue exchange he/we find out they have crashed landed on Alpha Zed-3 [better known as Heinous is prison for the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy.]

Captain Cloud takes on these unwanted intruders he throws a dagger into the controls and begins putting foot to posterior; [where Jake/Sarah is hiding behind this open door after they warned Captain Cloud about the threats] Captain Cloud mimics the equivalent of something like the Streets of Rage, Street Fighter II garnished with a Mortal Kombat reference "Finnish Him!" it gets used more than once in this film.

Later on, I am going to make a basic reference to this, because it shows even the evildoers are in on the goofiness as well; we have Revengor in his lair doing his Brobeck's on a VHS via TV with a headband on and Shee refusing to talk to him whilst he is doing whatever he is doing.

The art is highly imaginative and creative be it these videogame graphics or this vs. mode or scenery; basically there is a lot to see and experience in this title.

The character developments and the performances are all positive; because having to keep a straight face whilst delivering some of these lines must have been really difficult, but ultimately lots of fun and just to finish off the pacing is quick paced which is very easy to understand why when you have all of this ongoing film doing its thing.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is lots of fun; the only negative thing I could say here is and this is nothing against the film, but if you don't embrace the goofiness this film may get under your skin and just to finish off there is no after a credit seen, but if you want to hear Captain Max Cloud say the final words to this film he says them here.

Bart Simpson: Do the Bartman 1990 by AverageMansReviews

Bart Simpson: Do the Bartman 1990 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/skeleton

Music video; for Bart Simpson: Do the Bartman by The Simpsons, but a little bit more specifically Bart Simpson [voice by/sung/rap by Nancy Cartwright.]

We meet The Simpsons; Homer [voiced by Dan Castellaneta,] Marge [Julie Kavner,] Lisa [Yeardley Smith] and Maggie [ voice by unknown] as they are heading in to Springfield Elementary to this Dance Recital which Bart will be involved in, with the community of other Springfielder, it starts at 7:30 PM which as usual Homer is less than enthusiastic to attend as at the very beginning of this video, he says something to the effect of so boring, my hearing is absolutely fine but I cannot hear what he says at the beginning with Marge doing her disapproving sound effect [funnily enough they say all this without their lips moving. On the inside we have Bart literally going up the curtain with excitement with this trick as he says before pulling this trick "Come on man I can't wait I love an audience."

Now as I have said or made reference to here The Simpsons & Bad Bunny: Te deseo lo mejor 2021 [alternative name Te Deseo Lo Mejor] Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2022/02/the-simpsons-bad-bunny-te-deseo-lo.html the reason why this music track has that Michael Jackson 1990s feel to it is because he was heavily involved in it for an example writing the song. So on one hand we have the future legendary The Simpsons combining with the legendary [musical icon, and yes I am not going to be referencing his personal life.]

So combining these two colossal entities you get something like this; which is instantly recognisable because of The Simpsons incredibly high standards of animation with everything that comes with that and this funky easy listening, catchy music thanks to Michael Jackson with his style of dance routines put into The Simpsons world and some extra characters [ I must stress this is speculation mixed with observation the characters I am making reference to are the ones that are standing together/leaning against this advertising board or leaning against this school sign promoting two nights event or one standing one way and the other standing the opposite direction they are right at the beginning of this music video these three characters are mainly Bart's backing dancers there are additional dancers, but these are the main three. This music video has a really good fantasy ending, meaning was that reality or fantasy from Bart's prospective.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is lots of fun; it will stand the test of time as it is a great piece of the 1990s wrapped up in roughly 6 minutes and on top of that it has 1 Nominee credited to its name; MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 1991; VMA; Best Special Effects in a Video rad Bird (special effects.) But now sadly I would like to take a few minutes to say RIP to anyone that has sadly passed on since the beginning of the Simpsons in 1989; you will always be remembered, because regardless when this animated TV show comes to an end you and everyone else have most definitely made a popular culture impact of the likes that would be very difficult for anyone to repeat again especially with your time length from the late 1980's to present

Toby Tortoise Returns 1936 by AverageMansReviews

Toby Tortoise Returns 1936 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/animal cruelty

The Rematch from: The Tortoise and the Hare 1935 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2020/10/the-tortoise-and-hare-1935-by.html but this time things will be settled in a boxing ring so in one corner we have Champion Max Hare [voice by Ned Norton] and in the other we have Toby Tortoise [Eddie Holden] and we also have the three Girl Bunnies back from the previous project as well [voice by Alyce Ardell,Marcellite Garner and Leone Le Doux; just to cover my back Girl Bunny would be their character names.]

This project goes on for roughly 7 minutes the storyline and the pacing is something safe and reliable, but it very much is a template of its predecessor obviously the change of sports from running to boxing brings a whole new comedy potential [but what I mean is it does it in the same tone] from the perspective of character developments, action and comedy.

I mean Max Hare is still so very arrogant, I mean if you want to go that way fair enough, but there are absolutely no signs of growth or learning from his previous encounter with Toby Tortoise, you know give me a sign that he has learnt something but no that is not the case here. So as I have already made reference to we have him not taking this boxing match at all seriously by using his speed to quickly get around his opponent and taking the time to laugh at his opponent with three girl bunnies or talking to the emergency service bunnies with him taking his paws out of his boxing gloves whilst his boxing gloves are still punching to tell them not now and paws/arms gesture of calling it/them off then going back to boxing and then going back to the three girl bunnies.

But in the interest of fairness and balance Toby Tortoise is a bit weird as all these animals seem to like this high society bird character Jenny Wren [voice by Martha Wentworth] these two characters come in contact in the real world when Toby Tortoise lands on her lap and she says "I like a guy that takes his time" with him replying "You do. Gee." With him getting up and giving off the attitude of he is really going to try and win now as it implies if he win this fight at the very least he might get more of her attention or more he might have sexual intercourse with her or a relationship, so he gets back in the ring. [You know this short project is meant for kids?; There is sexual undertone here as well just in case you were wondering if I was reaching here she is seductive character in the way that she speaks and I am smart enough to know this was a very different world back then.]

But that isn't the weird part when Toby Tortoise gets knocked down we see what is thought processes and he has a Sultan or a wealthy individual from this part of the world being served or/and dancers of Jenny Wren this question of “How you doing Toby-Woby?”

This film receives: 2/10, this film is poor; well there is no character developments as it relates to Max Hare as I have already referenced and is the predecessor has/had supremely much better content of action and comedy as it relates to a variety and I may as well add this again this entire Toby and Jennifer thing is weird, I have an open mind but this is just weird and yes we never find out if anything happens between these two characters.

Moonfall 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Moonfall 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/environmental/animal cruelty/kamikaze

If you can get through roughly the first 30 minutes the film is mostly solidly good: I will begin in present times; Brian Harper [Patrick Wilson] an ex-/shamed NASA Commander astronaut which has lost everything because of this incident on his last outer space mission [when you come to watch this film you will see this first] where he saves one of his fellow NASA astronauts in Jocinda "Jo" Fowler, but nowadays Deputy Director/acting Director of NASA [Halley Berry.] But a grand total of roughly 11 years and 6 months later they and the world have unfinished business with what happened, but this time they come with Dr. KC Houseman [John Bradley] yes I should point out to those people that have seen this film I know he isn't a doctor [he brings this up at the closing stages of this project.]

As I have already indicated the first section or more of this project is really tiresome and it does go on for more than 30 minutes, but the reason why I have gone for this timeframe is because okay we need some of this content here but not roughly 45 minutes or slightly a little bit more, I should now take a split second to point out that this film goes on for roughly 130 minutes.

The pacing, the character types and the performances really don't help much, besides Holdenfield [Donald Sutherland] he has a small role but it is very easy to get drawn in by his dialogue exchange with acting Director of NASA Fowler. The rest of them are solid versions of what they character types should be for an example Dr. KC Houseman an highly intelligent person which also acts as predominately the comedy relief.

But when this film wants to kick in a much higher gear the pacing, character types and performances are reliably good.

Continuing when this film is in this match higher gear it really does show what this film is capable of be it this outside the box method to get space rocket/shuttle into air with one damaged engine containing Harper, Fowler and Houseman, for some strange reason after this sequence even the disaster sequences look better or in the Moon or anything here is action, treat for the eyes and all-round excellent content here.

But then again this film shoots itself in the foot by leaving things open for a sequel and without giving too much away it uses the kind of opening that if you have a guaranteed sequel by all means do it, but if you cannot get the green light or do not have a guaranteed sequel in place man your viewing audiences are going to be disgruntled [yes I am putting it very politely] sometime down the line; Because there is potentially supremely better content to be used in a sequel, let's just hope they don't do what Independence Day 1996 and Independent Day: Resurgence 2016 which as you can clearly see is 20 years between original and sequel, because yes this film is good, but it is hardly a future classic in the making.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; well considering at one point it was going to get a 1/10, a 6/10 is a fair outcome and trust me when I say this it is all about the strengths of this film as I have already referenced them in this review, but the only thing I can't really make too much reference to is this beautiful back story; yes I can mention it and pointed out but that is as much as I can say about it, so let me finish this review on a positive note if you are really and I do mean really into your science-fiction or disaster movies, give this film a look, but you will have to be patient with it.

The Simpsons & Bad Bunny: Te deseo lo mejor 2021 [alternative name Te Deseo Lo Mejor] by AverageMansReviews

The Simpsons & Bad Bunny: Te deseo lo mejor 2021 [alternative name Te Deseo Lo Mejor] by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects

Music video; for Te Deseo Lo Mejor: by the musician [Bad Bunny sung /as Bad Bunny; yes this music video/project is in the language of Latin America Spanish and yes if you have the subtitles on you will get some English subtitles for the plot, but not the music. The storyline is Homer Simpson [voice by Humberto VĂ©lez] has got addicted to liking things on his Phone, so much so it costs him his family, so he has to get them back with Bad Bunny's assistance.

Everything about this music video/project is solidly good, you know because it is The Simpsons project it is easily identifiable, get your attention and consequently easy to settle down with for roughly 2 minutes. We also have the standard, but enjoyable action and comedy flavour of The Simpsons as well for one example Homer entering this Bad Bunny concert [The Springfield Cinema/sometimes live events venue] and he crowd surfs to conveniently this empty seat right next to March Simpson [voice by Claudia Motta] and because we are at a concert they have to communicate in one way or another without speaking and that does include Bad Bunny is very small time later.

This film receives: 6/10, this is good; I mean this project is solidly good, the music trek is pleasant, but it is no Bart Simpson: Do the Bartman 1990 that was and is catchy I mean I can still remember bits and pieces of it I mean it was done in a similar model to Michael Jackson back in the day. Additional after listening/watching this music video Michael Jackson does indeed get references "If you can do the Bart, you're bad like Michael Jackson"or "Eat your heart out Michael." I had forgotten this, but I should have remembered anyway because as I have already said it is time in a very similar model to Michael Jackson back in the day on more research Michael Jackson was heavily involved in this music track in one way or another, So it stands to reason why it has he is flavour all over it, but let's keep in mind roughly at the time I was only 7 years old at the time

DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 48: Toxic by AverageMansReviews

DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 48: Toxic by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/torture/disfigurement

Thanks for popping through Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Action and Art; these combined in one way or another. Yes generally speaking this episode is good, but what was the point of Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy being in this live action TV program? On reflection it makes this blog of mine look really stupid now Average Extra of: DC's Batwoman 2019 Season 3 Trailer Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2021/10/average-extra-of-dcs-batwoman-2019.html you see this is one of those occasions where I would have been much less irritated if we hadn't seen her, because it would fit in better with the Season storyline if they had just up with Dr. Hamilton as Poison Ivy [ before I get someone triggered] I mean it from the perspective of well they had been going with the narrative of someone taking over as insert name here or using their accessory or other so it makes much better sense to carry on like that and as I have already made reference to it and now look stupid because I was very much under the impression because silly me I saw Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy as a big deal and one of the elite of Batman's enemies, without a shadow of a doubt should have been given an entire season and not forgetting without being sexist or a chauvinist it has been ramped down my throat for almost 3 Seasons yet again I was under the impression that this TV program was heavily geared towards femininity and other elements of our society, so why give this elite enemy a small part.

They really did go out of their way to take the shine off Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy, you see whenever she speaks in previous episodes she spoke properly, articulate with purpose. Even though she is doing wrong she makes a persuasive argument, but where I gave her high praise in the previous episode review I have to now say she is a good character which is a massive drop from where she was in previous episode review; DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 47: Meet Your Maker Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2022/01/dcs-batwoman-season-2-episode-45-meet.html finally we have Wilder/Batwoman vs. Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy this is action sequence is a good action sequence taking place inside Gotham Dam and roughly at the three-quarter stage or later and breakaway to in a nutshell have Fox/Batwing flight with these vines and make the dam secure and then we go back to the final bit of  Wilder/Batwoman vs. Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; on the whole this mark is a fair conclusion but at the end of this Third and Final Season I will come out with a separate blog, because that way I cannot break my 3 to 5 things about one episode I am just saying this now just to point out that I am very, very much aware that this TV program has massive problems, yes even though that the episodes may have positive marks, it's like they are slowly edging towards the conclusion of this TV program and they just want to get through it, don't worry the feeling is mutual.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania I 31/03/1985 Match 7/Part 7 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania I 31/03/1985 Match 7/Part 7 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects

Match/Stipulations: Big John Stud [with Bobby “The Brain" Heenan] vs. ”The Eighth Wonder of The World “AndrĂ© the Giant: Career VS. $15,000 Body Slam Challenge with Andre The Giant; Additional where if Andre can't body slam Stud he must retire, Stud just has too last until the match time expires, but if the Giant does body slam Stud he gets $15,000

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 6/10

Match Storyline: 6/10

Crowd Participation: 9/10

On Commentary: Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body” Venture 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 42/60 - this match is good

Comments: this match/match slot is good. First things first we have Monsoon calling this sports bag with the WWF acronym on/on each side which Stud carrying to the ring with $15,000 in it. But Monsoon calls it exert "A little WWF briefcase." We have manager cam back again as we keep that eye on Heenan's reaction to what is happening at that specific time.

This is very much a case of when you get these wrestling type together of two hasses [this wrestling terminology means an individual or in this case individuals that are large with a simple/nothing technical move set, but hard-hitting/power moves,] but however the crowd made this match/match slot feel like a big deal, I mean it is a big deal anyway, but you know what I'm trying to say the crowd participation is vitally important here based on the grounds as I have already referenced there is limited wrestling here so with the crowd participation being engaged and positive they very much cover up any weaknesses that this match/match slot has.

Basic Result: “The Eighth Wonder of The World “AndrĂ© the Giant picks up the W.

Background information: after this match; Monsoon and Ventura take a look and discuss the replay after this still talking about what they have just seen and then Monsoon sends it to Okerlund to get a live interview with The Giant and then Okerlund sends it back to Monsoon; Monsoon and Ventura are still talking about what they had seen and then Monsoon sends it to Hayes [which Hayes again begins talking before Monsoon finishes handing it over to him] to introduce the next be pre-recorded interviews Okerlund of the next match/match slot.

Now you know there is an ongoing theme of trying to put off Hayes as it relates to him reading these autocues and the wrestlers or on-screen characters being fed up or irritated with his monotone/robotic nature and yes usually I would say speculation ended still is speculation, but in this case it is bluntly obvious that they are trying to put him off talking about the first of our two rock and wrestling matches [for those younger people out there in Internet land this is and was a thing; in short this was the big boom in professional wrestling] but I digress; The Fantastic Moolah kisses him with him saying "Good gracious" the WWF Ladies'/Women's Champion Leilani Kai does the same as they are heading down and into the ring [Hayes trying to remain professional with Moolah's lipstick on him] he continues talking to them "Or good luck something like that. " So he sends us to these interviews we see Hayes being professional but cracking a smile.

After this we go from here to Finkel to do is thing with Wendi Richter with her manager Cyndi Lauper, David Wolf [Wendi Richter's normal manager] and another person jogging to the ring with security escort
