DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 48: Toxic by AverageMansReviews
Review Time:
5 things about this episode
Warning: there is flashing/other
effects/torture/disfigurement
Thanks for popping through Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Action and Art; these
combined in one way or another. Yes generally speaking this episode is good,
but what was the point of Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy being in this live action TV
program? On reflection it makes this blog of mine look really stupid now
Average Extra of: DC's Batwoman 2019 Season 3 Trailer Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2021/10/average-extra-of-dcs-batwoman-2019.html you see this is one
of those occasions where I would have been much less irritated if we hadn't
seen her, because it would fit in better with the Season storyline if they had
just up with Dr. Hamilton as Poison Ivy [ before I get someone triggered] I
mean it from the perspective of well they had been going with the narrative of
someone taking over as insert name here or using their accessory or other so it
makes much better sense to carry on like that and as I have already made
reference to it and now look stupid because I was very much under the
impression because silly me I saw Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy as a big deal and one of
the elite of Batman's enemies, without a shadow of a doubt should have been
given an entire season and not forgetting without being sexist or a chauvinist
it has been ramped down my throat for almost 3 Seasons yet again I was under
the impression that this TV program was heavily geared towards femininity and
other elements of our society, so why give this elite enemy a small part.
They really did go out of their way to take the shine off Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy, you see whenever she speaks in previous episodes she spoke properly, articulate with purpose. Even though she is doing wrong she makes a persuasive argument, but where I gave her high praise in the previous episode review I have to now say she is a good character which is a massive drop from where she was in previous episode review; DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 47: Meet Your Maker Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2022/01/dcs-batwoman-season-2-episode-45-meet.html finally we have Wilder/Batwoman vs. Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy this is action sequence is a good action sequence taking place inside Gotham Dam and roughly at the three-quarter stage or later and breakaway to in a nutshell have Fox/Batwing flight with these vines and make the dam secure and then we go back to the final bit of Wilder/Batwoman vs. Dr. Isley/Poison Ivy.
This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; on the whole this mark is a fair
conclusion but at the end of this Third and Final Season I will come out with a
separate blog, because that way I cannot break my 3 to 5 things about one
episode I am just saying this now just to point out that I am very, very much
aware that this TV program has massive problems, yes even though that the
episodes may have positive marks, it's like they are slowly edging towards the
conclusion of this TV program and they just want to get through it, don't worry
the feeling is mutual.
