The Hitman's Bodyguard 2017 by AverageMansReviews

The Hitman's Bodyguard 2017 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is good.

Fundamental elements: there are time jumps and place jumps, words and a number on screen, cultural elements with other languages being used, with and without subtitles being used I think [I say I think because I have a feeling there are some moments where subtitles are not being used, but in fairness to myself the text for the subtitles is small,] so if you are not a strong reader like me you will find this difficult to keep up with, slow-motion effects, mental imagery and there is background music which sometimes works with the scene or sequence it is a part of or sometimes it is okay or somewhere around this word meaning, yes it is there and that is about it really or it does very little for the scene or sequence it is a part of [let's just say I keep changing my mind on this element over the last few days, since I have seen this title, so instead of me changing what I have said here, all I am going to say is once again is this; my mind keeps changing.]

Now slightly moving on in a nutshell all of these performances are good, but this film does feel like it needs Reynolds and Jackson working off one another, for this title to have any kind of atmosphere or forward momentum.

Action sequences/Comedy level: there are weapons being used, combat sequences and chasing sequences, they all give this title great value in one way or another and the comedy level ranges from okay to funny.

Performances: as I have already said all of these performances are good, Reynolds and Jackson individually do a good job or slightly carry this film when they are on their own and it feels like the film slows down and it shows, don't get me wrong, you see I am trying not to be too critical. Because it does feel like Reynolds needs Jackson and Jackson needs Reynolds to balance out this film, to create some friction to create consistent interesting dialogue exchanges to create consistent comedy moments and many other things, in a nutshell this film feels as if it has just woken up when you get these two performers consistently on screen for the first time in this project.

This film receives: 7/10, generally speaking this film is good but it does need some time to warm up [I was informed that there was a blooper right at the end of the ending credits, so I went back and looked after dictating this review and yes there is and whilst I am on the subject yes I did go back and re-dictate some elements of this review, but the marking has stayed the same.]

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B, 2] Episode 12: Origin of Iron Man: Part 2 by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B, 2] Episode 12: Origin of Iron Man: Part 2 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:  this episode is excellent.

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements [for one example because this is the second part, they do this recap thing of the previous episode,] there are cultural elements, place jumps and time jumps and not forgetting background music.

Character developments: now before I continue I would like to say I could be wrong on what I am going to say next, but at the same time I am a little bit confused. Now I have gotten that out of the way with in Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 8: Origin of the Mandarin, the Mandarin meets apparently Fin Fang Foom for the first time [he is silver and not green,] but without giving too much away move forward to this episode we get shown these two dragons, one silver and the other gold, they are replicas of Fin Fang Foom which are not alive like me and you [the reason for this is a good one and it makes sense, but I am not going to tell you,] now slightly moving on to Living Laser, now this character first appears in this TV program in the episode Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B, 2] Episode 10: Iron Man to the Second Power: Part 2, but the problem is in Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B,2] Episode 11: Origin of Iron Man: Part 1, it does feel like this was meant to be his first appearance, based on the facts the Mandarin releases him from his statue state [or something like a statue, he is just stuck in one position until the Mandarin releases him.

Storyline/Origin storyline: these elements are very good.

Action sequences: these are entertaining.

This episode receives: 8/10, now if the truth was known I have re-dictated most of this paragraph, I originally said this episode feels closer to an 8 than a 7, but taking two minutes to think about it Fin Fang Foom with or without his brothers [that is what he calls them,] he has always been seen as a big deal but now he has two brothers, it looks like and feels like he has more to work with, so if they use these characters consistently in the future episodes there is a good percentage that says these three characters will be a great source of entertainment to any episode in the future of this TV program [yes I did replay some elements of some episodes including this one to make sure or I think I have gotten the information right that I have used in this episode, about the previous episodes.]

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B, 2] Episode 11: Origin of Iron Man: Part 1 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Fundamental elements: I think there are voice-over elements, time jumps and place jumps and there is background music as well. Now for two minutes let's put to one side the storyline and the origin storyline, this episode does feel like it should have been the first episode and the second episode, because I have to be honest this episode is good but then again it does feel somewhat late.

Storyline/Origin storyline and character developments: all of these elements are interesting including how Tony Stark reflects on these previous events in the present day.

Fin Fang Foom: this character puts in a very good showing in this episode be it in the action sequences with Iron Man or communicating with the Mandarin or anything else.

This episode receives: 7/10, yes this episode is good as I have already said, but the more I think about it, the more I think they should have done this kind of episode or episodes when the episode number was still in single figures, earlier would have been better [yes there are voice-over elements I went back and checked for these elements and other elements at a different time.]

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B, 2] Episode 10: Iron Man to the Second Power: Part 2 by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc B, 2] Episode 10: Iron Man to the Second Power: Part 2 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed

Character developments:  the thing between Blacklash, Hypnotia and Dreadknight is so boring and I think there are some other members of the Mandarin's followers or forces or whatever you would like to call them that are at some points in different previous episodes are on the side of irritating or boring or somewhere between the two, in fact, the Mandarin ,M.O.D.O.K. Justin Hammer, Living Laser, Grey Gargoyle and  Fin Fang Foom [yes I am aware that this character is not a member of the Mandarin's forces, I have just simply put in here because he is associated with the Mandarin and yes I had to go back and make sure we have seen this character, because we haven't seen much of him,] but they are the only ones which are not beginning to irritate me in one way or another and whilst I am on the subject Julia Carpenter and Wanda Frank are trying to get along in this episode, but I don't think it will last for too long.

Action sequences: these elements are good for one example the underwater sequences are well put together and the rest of the other action sequences give this episode some value.

This episode receives: 5/10, now whilst I was watching this episode and dictating this review I was thinking about giving this episode a 6/10, but the more I thought about it the more I became comfortable with the mark I have given, simply because yes this episode has much going on, but then again when it came to dictating this review I had forgotten bits and pieces of it or putting things in the right order or something to that effect, so I went with a 5/10 or to put it another way this episode isn't boring, but the character developments are boring or to be fair not well timed, maybe they should have left these character developments or friction bits and pieces to another episode.

On a side note, from today I will be withdrawing the small details, like for an example if subtitles are not used for small, brief dialogue exchanges in another language I will not put them in my reviews, unless it becomes a recurring theme in the dialogue exchanges of decent amounts or something to that effect or if I miss dialogue exchanges or anything, this in itself is no big deal. Because hopefully with not being concerned so much about the small details [unless I really feel it is necessary like for an example in the film title Sniper: Ghost Shooter 2016 they use subtitles but I think they are speaking English at the same time in one scene,] I can focus on other things in the project in question

Sniper: Ghost Shooter 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Sniper: Ghost Shooter 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is garbage.

Fundamental elements: there are time jumps and place jumps, words and numbers on screen, cultural elements with subtitles or without subtitles or I think speaking English but still using subtitles or an interpreter, slow-motion effects and quick moving bits and pieces, voice-over elements and background music which does nothing for me whatsoever.

Now if the truth was known, I kept replaying some elements of this film and could have continued doing it, but I gave up, the fundamental elements including the movement of this title is really hard work to watch and there are some weak dialogue exchanges as well and on a quick side note I was more than happy to take a long break whilst watching this project.

Action sequences: there are plenty of weapons being used, explosions and this kind of things, the only small element of the action sequences I did like were looking down the sight of sniper gun [or I think that is what they are called.]

Performances: these are difficult to describe, because yes they can range from anywhere from really poor to poor to now and again being okay or somewhere around this word for maybe a moment or a scene or sequence.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is not enjoyable to watch, yes there are action sequences with plenty of weapons being used and yes there may be some references or adaption’s to bits and pieces or something to that effect which come from different film titles [in the dialogue,] for one example I think one of the sayings that gets used in this title is this or roughly to this effect: "Say hello to my Russian little friend, " this has been adapted from the legendary film title Scarface 1983 "Say hello to my little friend," but it should be noted I may have gotten the interpretation slightly wrong but I think you get the basic idea and whilst I am on the subject I can't remember if I have said everything about the fundamental elements, but then again I don't discuss everything in the first place. So finally in a nutshell if I have the choice I will not be seeing this film title again, it is garbage.

Antwone Fisher 2002/2003 by AverageMansReviews

Antwone Fisher 2002/2003 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this project is good; I just don't have too much to say about it.

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements, time jumps and place jumps, weapons being used and I think some voice-over elements [I could be wrong.] The movement of this title, well it knows what it wants to do and gets on with it.

Performances; they are all reliably good from beginning to end

This film receives: 7/10, this is a good film, on a side note there is one point in this title that doesn't get explained that well in a nutshell and trying not to give too much away it is where a character is meant to show up, the audience will feel like we have just missed out on a conversation or argument or some kind of dialogue exchange up to this point in the film and even right towards the end of the film, we only get told why these two characters have a problem or working through this problem and not this dialogue exchange which the viewers have missed or think we have missed.

Code of Honor 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Code of Honor 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this project is briefly poor, but at the same time it had somewhere between a little to some potential to be a reasonable film.

Fundamental elements: there are time jumps and place jumps, slow-motion effects and quick moving elements [for an example going from room to room or something like that,] mental imagery a flashback thing being used I think and the background music is noticeable. Now the fundamental elements to this project are tedious and annoying and I was happy to take a break whilst watching this project including replaying some elements of it as well, in a nutshell this film is just hard work to watch.

Performances: in short they are poor.

Storyline/News reports or any TV elements: now this is where this film could have maybe been potentially better, than what I have told you so far, the storyline holds together really well it makes sense and there is a twist at the later stages [that is as much as I am going to tell you,] but taking two minutes to think about it whilst dictating this review, I do believe that the timing of the twist was a little bit wasted, maybe what they should have done was bring it forward by somewhere between 10 to 15 minutes in the film and give it time to develop to give this title a rounder ending, because as it is, it leaves a question-mark and I wouldn't mind this kind of question-mark thing if this title was less irritating [what I'm trying to say is; if you are asking your viewers to sit through this title, it is one of those occasions where a complete ending is your viewers reward] don't get me wrong this storyline as I have already said makes sense, but things do feel a little bit rushed the closer the viewers get to the ending stages of this title, moving on the news reports or any other TV elements give this title some value as well.

Action sequences: these elements also give this project some value, they are of a reliably decent to good standard there are plenty of weapons being used, combat sequences and other things of this nature.

This film receives: 2/10, simply put yes as I have pointed out in this review this title does have or had some potential in one way or another to be a reasonable to somewhere just below good or somewhere around this word but the reason why this project gets this mark is because the fundamental elements mixed with the performances drain the fun right out of this project.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 9: Iron Man to the Second Power: Part 1 by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 9: Iron Man to the Second Power: Part 1 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements with another language being used without subtitles, there is background music being used [and I did replay some elements of this episode.]

TV/Communication: I do really like these elements, whenever they are being used, because they are reliably interesting with bits and pieces of news or conversations or something else [on a side note it is always interesting to see the President of the United States of America get involved in one way or another.]

Action sequences: they are all good.

This episode receives: 6/10, now I would usually give you a big speech but in this case all I am going to say is this; this episode is good yes, but it feels closer to 6/10 than a 7/10.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 8: Origin of the Mandarin by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 8: Origin of the Mandarin by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: generally speaking this episode is excellent.

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, time jumps and place jumps and there is background music as well.

Storyline/Origin storyline: this storyline for this episode is good and the origin storyline is very good and really well put together [if you are wondering what origin storyline I am talking about, just read the title of this episode again.].

Mandarin's rings: now yes I had to replay some elements of this episode again, for some different reasons but in this one example there is a sequence where the Mandarin doesn't have his rings on when he should and there is another occasion where somehow he has got his rings on over this armour, but somehow when this armour comes off his rings are still on this armour and underneath on his fingers as well.

Wanda Frank and Julia: these two characters together just irritate me, I mean individually Julia is slightly less annoying than Wanda in fact Julia is a mixed bag one moment she seems okay and the next minute she is annoying. Now when I first began reviewing this TV program of what I could remember I did think Clint Barton was going to be irritating, but on reflection he isn't as annoying as I remember, at this point I would say that Clint Barton is just being himself.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode has been difficult to mark, because yes there are two characters that irritate me, but at the same time the storyline and the origin storyline with the action sequences and other elements are just too good for me to give this episode anything less than the mark I have given it.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 7: The Defection of Hawkeye by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 7: The Defection of Hawkeye by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Storyline: this storyline for this episode is good.

Voices: I don't think I will be bringing up this point again, it is a little bit boring, because I have mentioned it enough and at this point we are not even into double figures yet as it relates to the episode numbers [I could be wrong about these voice changes, but when I have put them in their individual reviews all I can say is this; something doesn't sound right.]

Action sequences: these elements are entertaining and on reflection, because of the action sequences it was easier to go with the mark I went with at the end of this review.

This episode receives: 7/10, now over the recent reviews as it relates to this TV program it has been somewhat difficult for me to think of the right mark for these episodes and yes I was thinking about briefly giving this episode another mark, but then again I did think I was being a little bit harsh, because generally speaking this episode has a really good idea of what it is doing from beginning to end.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 6: Enemy Within, Enemy Without by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 6: Enemy Within, Enemy Without by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed.

Storyline/Origin storyline: this storyline for this episode is good, it seems to know what it is doing and gets on with it, the origin storyline of M.O.D.O.K. [Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing.] is also good.

Voices/Out of sync: now on both counts on these two elements I could be wrong, but in my defence I can only really talk about what is in front of me and that goes for every review I have released in the past, present or future,  the voices of some characters in this episode have changed. Now slightly moving on the sound effects or the dialogue exchanges or absolutely anything look and hear either roughly in sync or slightly out of sync or slightly more noticeable to be out of sync [how can I put this; it is one of those occasions where the viewers get the feeling that something isn't quite right or something to that effect.]

This episode receives: 5/10, now I was thinking about giving this episode a 4/10, because we still have the irritating friction between Wanda and Julia which is wearing so thin but to be fair this episode does have enough about it to get given the mark of 5/10.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 5: Rejoice! I Am Ultimo Thy Deliverer by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 5: Rejoice! I Am Ultimo Thy Deliverer by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements with another language being used without subtitles being used and as I have maybe said in a previous review and it relates his TV program there is background music being used, but it is something you are going to like or going to put up with or you are not going to like it, but for me it is there and it does nothing wrong at least it goes well with the scene or scenes or sequences that it is a part of.

Character developments/Voices and clothes: Wanda Frank/Scarlet Witch in a nutshell I don't like this character in anything she does whilst I am on the subject her uniform or whatever it is when she is the Scarlet Witch is just annoying and tacky, don't get me wrong Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman has her moments of being annoying as well in fact when these two characters are being annoying together for whatever reason they just take so much fun out of the episode, it could be the past or present or future episodes [if I don't like it now my opinions are not going to change] when individually or together these two characters get irritated or unhappy their level of maturity [as it relates to their character developments is really off-putting.] I prefer female characters that have a bit of inner strength or something like that or to be honest anything like this to them which these two characters are missing, moving on I think there are voice changes [I could be wrong but they don't sound right] and character quickly changes his clothes.

Action sequences: in a nutshell they are all really good.

This episode receives: 7/10, in a nutshell with taking everything into consideration what with the action sequences including this character who goes by the name of Ultimo [because of this character I changed my mind about the mark of this episode] I feel comfortable with this mark, this episode feels slightly closer to a 7 than a 6 out of 10, but it was a close call and yes I replayed some elements of this episode to make sure I got them right in this review.

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 4: The Grim Reaper Wears a Teflon Coat by AverageMansReviews

Iron Man 94 -- 96 [Disc A, 1] Episode 4: The Grim Reaper Wears a Teflon Coat by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is good.

Character developments/Voice: I am really hoping they pull back on this element a bit, because yes I do understand its purpose but it is going to become irritating eventually. The viewers can sense that there is some kind of friction between the female characters as it relates to Tony Stark in one way or another and considering I don't think too much of Wanda Frank/Scarlet Witch and in the interest of fairness and balance my opinions of Clint Barton/Hawkeye are currently mixed [when this episode goes out.]

Now I could be wrong, but there could be one or two scenes in this episode where a character's voice changes and it isn't a small change either

Action sequences: they are all entertaining.

This episode receives: 7/10, good episode but could do less focusing on the friction between female characters and focusing on what is happening in the episode [the elements you will see in this episode are not that bad in the first place, but there are enough of them for me to give this episode a 7/10] but less seeing it would be nice or maybe build up the character developments using body language, sensing friction or something like this in the future episodes, then eventually see it between whatever characters you have been building this tension with, to leave this review on a positive note there is this very good armouring sequence as Tony Stark goes from a man to Iron Man and some elements seeing his other armour as well [I did replay some elements of this episode including the voice thing and yes this character's voice changes at some points.]
