What can I say here?: This is one of the worst Liam Neeson films I have seen; the storyline is one of those disaster, on top of another disaster films which the storyline; these explosion miners are trapped after a cave in they work for Katka. But they need this equipment delivered from this place to Katka in the off-season, so that means this route is going to be even more dangerous these big rigs to make this delivery and on top of that because it is the off-season it is going to be difficult to find drivers to make this journey.

Jim Goldenrod [Laurence Fishburne] finds them so including himself he has Tantoo [Amber Midthunder,] Liam Neeson [Mike McCann] and  Gurty McCann [Marcus Thomas;] they are brothers Mike is Gurty's guardian, because he is a veteran of the Iraq War suffering from PTSD and aphasia.] So after assembling this foursome, we have one more individual Tom Varnay [Benjamin Walker;] he works for Katka International Insurance Group, he is just there to observe as they have paid for this rescue mission.

Because this film is so poor the pacing is far, so far not the biggest problem in the world, meaning it is harmless, you know it knows what it is doing and just get on with it. Don't get me wrong throughout at some point or points there are good scenery or a underwater sequence as it relates to a rig sinking. But other than that you have to wait until roughly around the final quarter of this film for there to be more positive components; be it any of these action sequences with good art to them as well for one example in no particular order these rigs doing this bumper cars like action sequence on these icy surroundings or we have a drop of comedy Mike McCann punching GM George Sickle [Matt McCoy] in the face [ when you come to this point in the film; you will understand the serious yet delivered with a drop of comedy.] The character developments and the performances serves the purpose.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; yes as I am addressed there are some positives to this film, but then again this film is that poor that it is a counterbalance to any positives that this film has.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe [Season 2,] Episode 112: The Eternia Flower by AverageMansReviews

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe [Season 2,] Episode 112: The Eternia Flower by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing effects/other effects/transformation/drugs

“Don't do drugs": Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Moral message; these combined in one way or another; this is one of those public servers episodes; in this case as I have already made reference to "Don't do drugs." This Boy of The Year; Jonno is into this flower known as The Black Nightmare, his grower/dealer Count Marzo and his muscle/sidekick Chimera [ that gets called this is just an excerpt "Stone head" by Count Marzo once in this episode.]

I just had to mention this spanning across sequence [from left to right close-up, it's like you are walking, highly detailed of the highest order, it is truly eye-catching and then you come to Castle Grayskull.] Then we have one of those fade in, where we meet The Sorceress, Orko, Cringer, Prince Adam and Teela discussing basically the next step.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; now I should clarify on reflection I was going to give this episode 5/10, because it is sent out to fulfil its purpose and it achieves that, but mainly because of this artistic sequence and other contributing sequences at some points in this episode I had to award another mark.

Now I had a feeling that they had covered drugs before so I had a quick look around and it came with this; He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 2] Episode 10: A Friend in Need Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2017/07/he-man-and-masters-of-universe-83-85_8.html Just to cover my back, there may be others as well, it just came up with this episode and there is always a possibility that I didn't cover drugs in that particular review, I may have put the focus somewhere else or whatever the reason was or is, but either way here is just one anyway. I was just thinking I would say this just in case someone pointed out in the future at some point "There is another episode about drugs which you haven't mentioned."

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania I 31/03/1985 Match 5/Part 5 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects

Match/Stipulations: Junkyard Dog vs. the Intercontinental Champion Greg "The Hammer” Valentine [with "The Mouth of The South" Jimmy Hart:] Singles Match for the Intercontinental Championship

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 9/10

On Commentary: Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body” Venture 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 44/60 - this match is good

Comments: the match layout/match slot layout is one of those that is safe and reliable, meaning yes you can have slight variations of it; of someone coming down to the ring to point out either the injustice or another Referee comes down to the ring or something like that. But anyway you choose to do it; it does what it is designed to do by keeping both of these competitors looking strong either as Heel or Babyface and on top of that you get a crowd responds/participation.

Basic Result: Junkyard Dog picks up the W.

Background information: after this match; we have Monsoon and Venture taking a look/discussing the action replay and then Monsoon highlighting the Champions advantage in situations like this one, then he sends us back to Hayes; to introduce the next pre-recorded interviews/to build up the next match [back where we originally had them not in front of the WWF acronym] but whilst Hayes is doing this yet again we have "The Hollywood Fashion Plate" Freddie Blassie with his team of The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff with their big flags into and coming across the camera shot as Hayes is trying to read this autocue or whatever and to be honest this occasion looks genuine as in they are genuinely just coming through to get to the ring, but on the other hand and this is based on speculation mixed in with a little bit of fact this would be the third time that an act has at the very least tried to put off Hayes from doing his segment, but this time this one seems comical as I have already made reference to this tag team have big flags, so you can see them blocking Hayes vision momentarily with Hayes trying to remain professional without breaking on-screen character you can see him ever so slightly having to readjust, but then keeps it together. This is speculation again but I wonder if the locker room had a running joke, to just try and put off Hayes in some way, just because throughout this pay-per-view as I have made reference to he seems to be reading this autocue or something and I am just wondering if they had got fed up with his monotone segments, I should just point out these acts could have walked behind him, quietly through the camera shot like Steamboat does after his match and not in front of him into the camera shot, so as you can see this is speculation, but mixed in with observation.

Okerlund has an interview segment with The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff with "The Hollywood Fashion Plate" Freddie Blassie [Okerlund; has a slip of the tongue when he talks to Volkoff by calling him Comy-apologies if I have misspelt that, but quickly apologises and says, Comrade/this pay-per-view screening comes up; whilst Okerlund is still talking/moving on to Captain Lou Albano with his tag team the WWF Tag Team Champions The U.S. Express [Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo.] Then we this graphic of this match, you know the one that they have been using throughout this pay-per-view. Then we have Finkel doing his thing introducing these No1 Contenders with their manager, already receiving a hostile reception from this crowd, this foreign Heel tag team encourage it more by either doing their usual Heel stick it relates to Volkoff singing the national anthem of The Soviet Union [things being thrown into the ring] or/and The Sheik saying this on the Russia number one, Iran number one, USA [goes through this spitting motion.]

The WWF Tag Team Champions The U.S. Express [Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo with Captain Lou Albano] receiving police or/and security protection as they enter and go down to the ring with the entrance music playing, like when the Junkyard Dog made his entrance.

Like the Dog's the crowd are going crazy for this tag team and their manager with Monsoon highlighting this on commentary as well with "Madison Square Garden are on their feet."Finkel seems to be having technical problems with his microphone introducing the WWF Tag Team Champions and their manager, the microphone cuts out and back in again after Finkel does do a little something to it. This is just an excerpt; Monsoon makes a reference to this by saying "Formalities just out of the way with"

DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 45: Pick Your Poison by AverageMansReviews

DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 45: Pick Your Poison by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/medical

I only interest in Beth Kane/Alice and Dr Hamilton/Poison Ivy: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Action; so this review is going to be obviously about this episode, but just to change things up a little I was thinking I would shine the light on other things mostly away from these two characters, but at some point I will be bringing them up.

I don't care, no seriously I don't care about Wilder or Wilder/Batwoman situation or situations involving her biological family or the situation with Moore and the fact that she can't keep her underwear up and focus on what she needs which was Beth Kane/Alice; yes I would be exactly the same if this was a man done this kind of thing as well.

Dr Hamilton/Poison Ivy summons these many vines to keep Wilder/Batwoman in place whilst she and her stepsister [Beth Kane/Alice] escape in this RV; yes this may be a small sequence of events, but it is all good.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; I can tell you the remaining episodes of this Third and Final Season are generally speaking based on here now are going to be very difficult to watch without me getting outraged at some point about something or more than likely somethings

Airheads 1994 by AverageMansReviews

Airheads 1994 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/domestic violence/character on fire/dog urine.

Storyline/Character [Character developments]/Action/Comedy/Art/Performances: these components combined in one way or another; now after the lead vocalist/guitarist of this band known as The Lone Rangers Chester Ogilvie/better known as "Chazz Darby"  [Brendan Frasier] tries to get his band's demo heard by going in disguise, Palatine Records, but is quickly rumbled but before he gets thrown out again; he finds this Record Executive by the name of Jimmie Wing [Judd Nelson] but he refuses to deal with it based on legal reason of solicitation.

But after seeing what this radio station KPPX Rebel Rock did for Galactic Cowboys [on a quick side note looking down a webpage and another page; this is a real life band.] So Chazz Darby comes up with the idea to take the rest of the band Rex [Steve Buscemi,] bassist and Pip [Adam Sandler,] drummer [Rex and Pip are brothers] to see if they can do the same for them by playing their track live on the air at the KPPX Rebel Rock, but things go from bad to worse as they firstly break-in to this radio station, secondly interrupt Ian "The Shark " DJ at KPPX [Joe Mantegna] with Milo Jackson, the station manager of KPPX [Michael McKean] rapidly escalating things to finally The Lone Rangers take over this radio station. The pacing is smooth and fluently easy-going  based on there is always something going on somewhere; yes there are things that go on that I haven't mentioned.

The character types for this project are easy to identify and settle down with as for an example we have Rex taking the time to teach his brother how to be tough and all business holding his weapon and dealing with their hostages, instead of being his natural soft natured, not the brightest bulb in the box, but a nice guy for the comedy it is of the mature variety [let's be honest this entire film is of the mature righty anyway,] it ranges from this escalating situation and it's madness to cameos which I knew most of them they pop up in this film in some capacity and so much more like what this poor cassette tape goes through in this film.

In the opening credits we have this/these music related items getting used or played like for another example of someone is playing the drums with the title Airheads on it and the drummer begins to play the drums at first not touching the title, but eventually playing the sticks on this title separating the letters and spinning the drums [with Soundtrack Born To Raise Hell by Motörhead & Ice-T & Whitfield Crane] and right at the end of this film we get to see/hear The Lone Rangers perform this song [I would provide you with a track name, but on some research I was unsuccessful/meaning I couldn't find it] and making a music video at the same time with these two backing dancers  Kayla [Chazz's girlfriend/Amy Locane] and Suzzi [Pip's girlfriend/Nina Siemaszko] and now on to the performances there is excellent chemistry throughout this cast

This film receives: 10/10, this film is lots of fun: it is a easy-going film that knows what it is from beginning to end which is a goofy crime film, sadly I would like to take a moment to say this RIP to anyone that is connected to this film that is no longer with us, this film will remind us until the end of time that at one point you were here to bring your something regardless how big or little it was, it doesn't matter you brought it to the table to bring this film to life. But to continue the sadness this film has no Awards currently credit it to its name in any way which is a great shame, because as I have already made reference to it is harmless fun which should have got it some positive Awards credit it to its name be it a Winner or just Nominated it deserves or deserved a positive Award, but you never know someone from an award organisation may look on this film in the future and say "It deserves a little award for its popular culture representation of the 1990s."

The Accountant 2016 by AverageMansReviews

The Accountant 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/stabbing/self-harming/shooting/breaking/torture

Storyline/Character [Character developments]/Action/Comedy/Performances: these components combined in one way or another; now I know I don't discuss or give away everything about a project, but in this case if I leave out more than what I usually do; it is based on the fact that this film has been put together like a mystery; yes we get this family narrative from the beginning and now and again from Christian "Chris" Wolff's [Ben Affleck] memory recall about growing up with his military father/Colonel [Robert C. Treveiler] and his brother. Christian "Chris" Wolff is a high functioning autistic individual as you will see when you come to watch this film, which for an example you will see him dealing with this henchmen in front of his two clients [he is their accountant] on their farm Frank Rice [Ron Prather] and Dolores Rice [Susan Williams] watching him taking care of business from their pickup truck as Christian "Chris" Wolff has his back to them, but has this Thug #1 [Tait Fletcher] very much tied up and extracting Intel from him and let's just say putting him out of his misery with Christian "Chris" Wolff' looks back at this husband-and-wife [they don't move a muscle as if to imply  "What did we just see?"] he gives them a casual wave and carries on as if nothing has happened.

Much later on; Director Raymond "Ray" King [J.K. Simmons] is discussing things and we have this storyteller mental recap from his perspective with Treasury Analyst Marybeth Medina [Cynthia Addai-Robinson] in Christian "Chris" Wolff's home. The pacing for this project is on reflection something solid and reliable fit for purpose; meaning as I have already said, because it is put together as a mystery and it needs to put across that Christian "Chris" Wolff is methodical amongst other things because of his autism why not reflect that also in the pacing and so on of this 128 minute film.

Performances; they are solidly good throughout this cast; for a few examples Jon Bernthal as Braxton, Anna Kendrick as Dana Cummings and Alison Wright as adult Justine.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; now be for a continue I should just point out I have a disability myself cerebral palsy [brain damage from being born] and a mental illness [depression for easily double digits of years and made peace with it but I will have it for the rest of my life.] The reason why I have put this here is so it covers my back for what I am about to say next. In a very strange way around it I think this film was/is trying to say or imply regardless of disability/illness/other; people like Christian "Chris" Wolff or another character in this film or like myself we can still function to a certain extent.

This film has some Awards credited to its name; such as 5 Winners including positive Award; Young Artist Awards 2017; Young Artist Award; Best Performance in a Feature Film - Supporting Teen Actor Seth Lee. Negative Award Yoga Awards 2017; Yoga Award; Worst Foreign Actor Ben Affleck For Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice [this is listed here; so I have put it in here as I didn't want to mislead anyone.] 3 Nominations which for one example; Jupiter Award 2017; Jupiter Award;Best International Actor Ben Affleck.
