He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 2] Episode 10: A
Friend in Need by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: I don't know what to say about this episode really, because it essentially focuses on a message of "Don't do drugs" and that's about it really, so I am going to find it really difficult to stretch out this review a little.
No Skeletor: there is no appearance of Skeletor in this episode, I was waiting for
this to happen before I said this; now there are going to be some occasions
where this iconic character isn't going to be in this or that episode and how
can I put this politely; this TV program struggles without him big time, the
evildoer they replace him with [unless it is a cast character,] the replacement
evildoer is nowhere near the potential level of one of Skeletor's henchmen or
associates [and you can forget the replacement getting to Skeletor's level,
because it just isn't going to happen.]
So in a nutshell
without a recurring evildoer character, these episodes with a random evildoer
in them are so boring.
Ending message: is basically this; don't do drugs.
This episode receives: 20% approval, for a mixture of reasons
the first being no Skeletor and secondly I am really aware that this program
was made for children/teenagers, but what they have done in this episode is
basically the ending message has been stretched over the entire episode
