Fantastic Four 1994 -- 1996 [Season 2, DVD 3] Episode 15: Inhumans Saga: Part 1: And the Wind Cries Medusa by AverageMansReviews

Fantastic Four 1994 -- 1996 [Season 2, DVD 3] Episode 15: Inhumans Saga: Part 1: And the Wind Cries Medusa  by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent.

Character developments: Ben Grimm/The Thing, there are in one way or another some form of character developments in this episode [I can't say too much more than that without giving too much away.]

Action sequences: there are many scenes or sequences, all of a high quality with many things happening in them, for one example we have Johnny Storm/Human Torch which at this point has been put in this harness [or something to that effect,] where if he attempts to flame on, he gets hit in the face with this water so I think he works out that for him to escape everything is about timing. Yes usually I wouldn't tell you this much about a scene or sequence, but as it is the only one I am going to talk about I may as well give you a rough outline.

This episode receives: 8/10, this is an excellent first part of three episodes in this storyline.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this sequel is good.

Fundamental elements: there are numbers and words on screen, voice-over elements, there are no subtitles being used when another language is being used, time jumps and place jumps.

Storyline: generally speaking it is good, but it does feel like this sequel is building towards another film title in the future [now it should be noted I could be completely wrong about this as in there is no other project to come from this franchise.] So I am basing just my opinion on how this film feels and looks when I watched it and nothing more.

Action sequences: here are just two examples of the action sequences, the first being the on water/underwater sequence involving three characters, [not giving too much away this action sequence is based around escaping from this situation] and the second is this head butting dinosaur and these two characters [I have just realized I have just chosen two escaping action sequences] and there are many other scenes or sequences in this title.

Character developments/Performances: now to be fair did we really have to have this computer nerd type of character in this sequel, I mean if it was the 1990's I would be okay with that, but when this review goes out it will be 2018, it has just come to me whilst I was dictating this review that this character development it doesn't irritate me, he is a nice guy and other things but it is and was one of those things that could have done with updating to the year of 2018, in a nutshell okay have this computer nerd which is frightened, but he or she has the best intentions of showing courage in a desperate situation, but sometimes gets things wrong [for one quick example he or she wants to shoot this gun, but can't do it because this character cannot work out how the safety works or hasn't learned how to do it yet because he or she is only half way through the book on gun handling or something to that effect,] just a little something to freshen up this type of character, this is not the only character developments I would have freshened up, there is one more I have decided not to put it in this review, because after dictating it the first time around, I realized it may or may not have gave a little too much away which as you should know by now it is something I don't do, yes a little bit here and a little bit there but not too much if I can help it, but moving on now to the performances they are all good.

This film receives: 6/10, I don't know what to say here about this sequel really, I mean it is good and just before I finish generally speaking there are some comical moments if my memory is correct in this title as well which I just needed to point out, but as I made reference to earlier in this review, this sequel feels like there is another potential sequel to come in the future so this title could be just the link between the first and the third title which if this is the case it does its job [I just want to highlight this once more I could be completely and absolutely wrong about another film title coming out at some point, but in my defence this is how this project feels and looks to me right now [or when this review goes out.]

Fantastic Four 1994 -- 1996 [Season 2, DVD 3] Episode 14: And a Blind Man Shall Lead Them by AverageMansReviews

Fantastic Four 1994 -- 1996 [Season 2, DVD 3] Episode 14: And a Blind Man Shall Lead Them by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is lots of fun, entertaining and it knows what it is doing from beginning to end.

Fundamental elements: there is background music, mental imagery with voice-over elements, time jumps and place jumps.

Artistic visions/Action sequences: now as it relates to this TV program it looks and feels different [in the defence of the previous episodes they look good and not forgetting its other elements as well,] but from now on this TV program just looks and feels different, I mean as it relates to the artistic visions I really did enjoy how they showed the skill set or gifts of this one individual and the action itself it is great to see this character do his thing.

Character developments: now this is one of those kinds of things where it gave me a very difficult choice to make between a 9 out of 10 or a 10 out of 10, but seeing this or these character developments of Ben Grimm/The Thing are a subplot to what is happening but it is of equal importance [that is all I can say really, I am not being lazy but that is as much as I can say without giving too much away.]

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode does have lots to offer its viewers including someone that will Deliver Devastation to the guilty and give the innocent a voice.

King Lear 2018 by AverageMansReviews

King Lear 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is good.

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, background music, time jumps and place jumps.

Action sequences: they are good.

Performances: they are of a very high quality, now there is a reason why at this point I haven't said too much about this title and it would be this; this project is set in modern times [present day when this review goes out.] But however the performances and the dialogue exchanges use Old English [if I have gotten that wrong I will just say from the time of William Shakespeare.]

I should just point out; if you have an understanding or enjoy this style of English being used you will enjoy this title, but if you don't have an understanding or have never come across this style of language [forgetting English for a second,] you may find it hard work, I feel I should quickly state that this is nothing against the performers in this project I am just saying from an Old English perspective for people that haven't experienced this before you may find it hard work.

I mean I am English and I have experience of this style of English and I still found it hard going, but that is enough of that, even though you may not understand the English or some of it being used the performances are able to tell you what is roughly going on anyway.

This film receives: 7/10, this project is and was a positive experience.

Mechanic: Resurrection 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Mechanic: Resurrection 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this sequel is good.

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements, with and without subtitles being used, background music, a word or words on screen I think I could be wrong, voice-over elements, time jumps and place jumps. Now it should be pointed out that this title does need some time to get going properly.

Action sequences: there are plenty of weapons being used, combat sequences, underwater sequences, but having said all of that I will be discussing briefly this sequence, the swimming pool sequence which yes it is good, but on reflection this was and is a silly place to put a swimming pool, I am not criticizing these scenes or sequence, I am just saying I am sure there is a safer and better places to put a swimming pool [that is all I have to say, because when you come across it in the film you will know what I mean.]

Performances: they are good.

This film receives: 6/10, now taking everything into consideration this sequel just about does enough to get given this mark as in if you haven't seen it yet, it is good enough for a one-time viewing, but maybe not a repeat viewing film [just based on my opinion.]

Faster 2010 by AverageMansReviews

Faster 2010 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is good.

Fundamental elements: there is a word [one word] or a number on screen, background music, cultural elements, slow-motion effects time jumps and place jumps.

Action sequences: there are chasing sequences and weapons being used, these action sequences give this title value.

Performances: generally speaking they are a mixed bag really, the only one that is consistently good is Johnson this performer/character is a man that moves with a purpose, a man with a plan and a man of action.

This film receives: 6/10, this review may look really brief that is because this is one of those titles that knows what it is from beginning to end and it sticks to that formula [without giving too much away] an ex-con seeking revenge, but to leave things on a positive note if you are a fan of Dwayne Johnson, he does make this film work with a large stage presence and other things, that basically tells us he has the potential to do better film titles in his future [I mean from the perspective of when this film was released.]

Fantastic Four 1994 -- 1996 [Season 1, DVD 2] Episode 13: The Silver Surfer & the Return of Galactus by AverageMansReviews

Fantastic Four 1994 -- 1996 [Season 1, DVD 2] Episode 13: The Silver Surfer & the Return of Galactus by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is highly entertaining.

Fundamental elements: there are mental imagery [of the last time these characters were on Earth] with voice-over elements, background music, place jumps and I think maybe one time jump [I could be wrong about this there could be none or more than,] I mean this in a good way; there is a lot happening in this episode so I wasn't completely focusing on this or I just missed it.

Artistic visions: there is so much imagination used in this episode, these are just two examples of what I mean; things coming out of the TV or how the Fantastic Four suit up to handle being in outer space.

This episode receives: 10/10, this is one of those occasions where I really don't want to say too much about this episode, but I can say this; this episode is lots of fun.
