Review Time: this film is good.
Fundamental elements: there is a word [one word] or a number on screen, background music,
cultural elements, slow-motion effects time jumps and place jumps.
Action sequences: there are chasing sequences and weapons being used, these action
sequences give this title value.
Performances: generally speaking they are a mixed bag really, the only one that is
consistently good is Johnson this performer/character is a man that moves with
a purpose, a man with a plan and a man of action.
This film receives: 6/10, this review may look really brief that is because this is one
of those titles that knows what it is from beginning to end and it sticks to
that formula [without giving too much away] an ex-con seeking revenge, but to
leave things on a positive note if you are a fan of Dwayne Johnson, he does
make this film work with a large stage presence and other things, that
basically tells us he has the potential to do better film titles in his future
[I mean from the perspective of when this film was released.]
