The Duke 2020 by AverageMansReviews

The Duke 2020 by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/racism.

The Duke of Wellington portrait by Francisco Goya: this portrait is central to this film; our backdrop to begin with is Newcastle in the early 1960s, we meet Kempton Bunton [Jim Broadbent] and his long-suffering wife Dorothy Bunton [Helen Mirren] and their family, the pacing is generally speaking something like this; first section is good, middle section, it goes through this lull and in the third and final section it is good again.

Kempton is not a bad guy but he stands up for what he believes in be it the elderly paying their TV licence or standing up for his fellow worker, so trouble or prison time is always not too far away from Kempton. Dorothy is a no-nonsense, she is a straight talking woman/wife and mother, because she is a matter of fact person she doesn't want to talk about the tragic death of their daughter Mariarrm Bunton [apologies if I have spelt her name incorrectly] that is a cleaner for Mrs Gowling [Anna Maxwell Martin.] This is a cast performance being all good, but they are being led by this excellent partnership of Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren with individually or together has this good comedy flavour in this project when it pops up or makes itself known; which they are both up for at least an award each as things stand; AARP Movies for Grownups Awards 2022; Movies for Grownups Award; Nominee; Best Actress Helen Mirren [same award event/ceremony] Best Actor Jim Broadbent and individually they should win both of these, because that is how excellent they are in my opinion, you see without them and yes this is just speculation on my part, but however this film would have potentially really struggled without them, that is how much of a driving force/impact they have on this project.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good: now minus the pacing after everything is said and done it is a pleasant little film, in total it is up for 4 Nominees, but as I have already referenced 2 in this review I will leave things here.

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects/white supremacy/racism/white on black violence/ homophobic references/hanging/shooting/medical

Black-and-white: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Action these combined in one way or another. Because Abar/Sister Knight has taken a lethal amount of Nostalgia medication which on top of that is not designed specifically for her it is designed for her grandfather Will Reeves a.k.a. Hooded Justice this medication is designed for only him [yes you'll see another version of Hooded Justice in this episode and yes indeed there is another, but let's focus on the African-American one shall we.]

So she is going to experience a lengthy trip as she and we the viewers get to see and in her case feel her grandfather's life up to this present time. When we delve into these memories this episode is mostly like 90% black and white and these moments of colour this is all fantastic visual work and moving on to the action New York Police Officer Will Reeves/Hooded Justice [I know that these points he isn't in his usual costume and head/face covering, but work with me here.] He really does put foot to posterior.

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is top-notch entertainment; because of this episode's content I should point out that when I say this episode is top-notch entertainment this is just a marking expression and nothing more. It really does unfortunately cover how things were and in some cases still are to this very day, but to finish on a positive I really do like the entire art of this episode; it is easy to settle down with highly imaginative and clean and tidy.

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing effects/other effects/transformation

The Duplicating Machine: Storyline, Action, Character [Character developments] and Art; these combined in one way or another. Duncan/Man-At-Arms has created this machine and it does what exactly it says in its name so Skeletor and Whiplash steal this machine literary from under the nose of Duncan/Man-At-Arms and other surrounding characters from his laboratory in the Royal Palace of Eternia, by burning a hole from underneath around this machine with this trusty Heat Gun fired by Whiplash and it conveniently lands on this [we don't have a clear view] but I'm going to speculate and say trolley or something to that effect so Whiplash can and does push it so that they can make a quick getaway.

Skeletor uses this machine on himself to create these many upon many little versions of himself better known as Skeletoids these look excellent and the same can be said for Prince Adam/He-Man and is too little clones.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; after everything is said and done this mark is a suitable outcome, but having said that I do think they missed an golden opportunity here to have a three on three combat sequence with Skeletor and two of his Skeletoids vs. Prince Adam/He-Man and two of his He-Man clones, not even a little battle I mean it when have had to be a long one, it could have just been a little one, just as they do they're viewers " we couldn't miss this golden opportunity to show you this in all its glory even for a little scuffle."

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: NWA/WCW Starrcade '83: A Flare for the Gold 24/11/1983 Match 1/Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: NWA/WCW Starrcade '83: A Flare for the Gold 24/11/1983 Match 1/Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Chosen by: Me; I have never seen a Starrcade pay-per-view, so I was thinking I would start at the beginning.

Briefly things to know: this pay-per-view begins straight away at the beginning of this match

Warning/Disclaimer: there is flashing effects/colourful effects. Disclaimer I have never been or likely to be a professional wrestler.

Match/Stipulation: The Assassins [Assassin #1 & Assassin #2 with Paul Jones] vs. the Mid-Atlantic Champion Rufus R. "Freight Train" Jones & Bugsy McGraw McGraw: Tag Team Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 5/10

Match Storyline: 5/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: Bob Caudle & Gordon Solie 6/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 6/10

Recommend Watch: 5/10

Match Total: 37/60 - this match is good.

Comments: this match is what it is as you can see by these attribute marks. Solie mispronounces Tony Schiavone, by saying Tony Shthoney when he says and exert "Barbara Clary and Tony Shthoney will be interviewing competitors and fans alike."

A cameraman drops his camera too quick from this shot as we are watching this match from a certain perspective [you are basically looking for Jones going in for a pin and suddenly the camera shot drops and then we quickly go to a different perspective.] Now I really don't like this sounds of these ropes and no I am not a professional wrestler and I am very much aware this was back in the 1980s. But still when these wrestlers run off these ropes or anything like that; you will hear this noticeably unpleasant sound as if the ropes are just about coping with what they are being asked to perform.

I have two final things to say; the first thing is the the Mid-Atlantic Champion at a brief glance looks like a good championship by design and after doing some brief research yes it looks good with a basic description a brown strap and five plates four plates of the places it represents and bigger plate in the middle that has Mid-Atlantic Championship on it and finally I have a feeling that the crowd participation is going to be a massive plus to the all-round spectacle of this pay-per-view and viewing experience as you can see already they are already getting 10/10, I know it is the first match, but in the interest of fairness and balance and not discrediting or devaluing this match but it is just a tag team match and the crowd participation is as I have already said 10/10.

Basic Result: The Assassins [Assassin #1 & Assassin #2 with Paul Jones] go over here.

Briefly things to know:

* Bob Caudle & Gordon Solie: fallout of this match, introduced themselves and talk about this pay-per-view.

* Tony Schiavone: the first member of our interviewing team; interviewer reporting from the dressing room throughout this pay-per-view

* Tom Miller: ring announcer introducing the next match

New approach: I decided to change these sections to slimline these blogs, I had the idea relatively early on in my previous pay-per-view review Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania I 31/03/1985, but I had already began this pay-per-view, so I said to myself after this pay-per-view we will slimline it somehow and I came up with this idea soon after to somewhat speed things up a little. Don't get me wrong I am not a lazy content creator, but it was taking me too long in the previous way of doing things.

Watchmen [Season 1,] Episode 5: Little Fear of Lightning by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects/white supremacy/animal cruelty/shooting/decapitation/drugs

Origin of Detective  Tillman/Looking Glass: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Action and comedy; these combined in one way or another. It clearly shows how this character has turned out the way he is today, sit your time machines back until Hoboken 1985, this yellow bus with these religious people to try and convert these patrons inside this carnival/themepark, this is where we meet young Tillman. But however after this incident it completely changes his life. Present day he now wears reflectatine in his cap when he is just Detective to Wade Tillman stop psychic blasts, but when he is his alter ego Looking Glass, he uses this material to head and face.

Because he is extremely, extremely security conscious he runs lots and lots of security drills on his house, to the point where his security system breaks down as you will see in this episode, he tries to turn it off but because it has been overused with too many security drills the only way he can stop it is by destroying it, so he phones up for a replacement from this security business [ExtraDimensional Security] where this telephone operator I am paraphrasing here enquires how many times have you been running security drills? Which as I have already said lots and lots it should only be done every six weeks and the new one will get to him by next Thursday. Which this is just too long for Detective Tillman, so he will pay for overnight delivery and conveniently gets them to throw in another roll of reflectatine. So on one hand he gets to quench his thirst to be extremely security conscious and on the other hand he gets sent the material to fit in his cap and head/face covering; this is a win-win for him.

This episode receives: 9/10, this episode is excellent; after taking everything into consideration this mark is a easy outcome for this episode, it just has a real identity of what it has been sent out to do with the right amount of content lots of it, but allowing you to breathe as well,  basically not overloading the episode itself.

Dog 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Dog 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning/Disclaimer: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/medical/animal cruelty/shooting/drugs. Disclaimer I am not a medical professional, so any reference to PTSD is basically what I know about it or how it represents itself in this film.

This is far from an out and out comedy: this film focuses on  U.S. Army Ranger Staff Sgt Jackson Briggs [Channing Tatum] has he has got to go and take Lulu [Britta, Lana 5, and Zuza] a Belgian Malinois military working dog to this funeral for her previous handler and his friend Sgt Riley Rodriguez [Eric Urbiztondo.] But between U.S. Army Ranger Staff Sgt Briggs and Lulu they have individually massive problems; U.S. Army Ranger Staff Sgt Briggs simply put has debilitating concussion and is doing this task to hopefully get his Captain Jone [Luke Forbes] to basically support/back him to say he is okay to continue his military life in some capacity, so he has to do this job to maybe get his Captain and Lulu has very clearly PTSD the dog version.

The pacing is fundamentally sound, this is one of those occasions where it knows what it is doing and gets on with it. This film is about the military or anyone that has served their country as it relates to knowing when or if it is time to rotate back to the real world and move on to the next stage of their life and yes unfortunately it does show and talk about what happens to people or dogs that cannot or struggle back to the real world, which swiftly moves me onto the standout performances of this film even though it is a relatively small part Noah [Ethan Suplee] with Nuke, Lulu's brother [Noah and Nuke are ex-service personnel of the same squad as Briggs and Lulu, unfortunately after a quick research I did not find or could not find Nuke's real name apologies for that.]

But through Noah and Nuke screen time either individually or together they show and in the case of Noah he talks about in a nutshell am paraphrasing here, it can be done to live in the real world and I should point out Noah has young children, I bring this up because it shows that in some cases potentially dangerous dogs can be re-educated to be themselves again, in fact Noah gets a hug from Lulu which shows her core nature before having PTSD, when she was originally serving her country with Rodriguez, Briggs and Noah as Lulu and Noah clearly remember one another with this Lulu hug.

Yes I did say this film is This is far from an out and out comedy" but having said that, this film does have some scenes of comedy which are good, but they are mostly in the trailer [depending on which trailer you have seen, I am speaking generally;] they are good and the same can be said for the character developments and the performances; there is good chemistry between U.S. Army Ranger Staff Sgt Briggs and Lulu.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; it transparently highlights that more should be done to help our servers personnel including the four-legged variety [I say the next bit without no judgement or anything like that,] but it also as I have already made reference to highlights whenever these service personnel get the feeling or it is time to rotate back to the real world, taken as a sign whenever it comes my service time is up and if it is necessary I need to go and seek some kind of assistance so I can move on to the next phase of my life I should take it or separate myself from the person I was in my service time to the person I am and want to be again, I just want to finish off by saying again there is no judgement here.

Emma 1996 by AverageMansReviews

Emma 1996 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is animal cruelty

Way before dating websites there were matchmakers: early in the 19th century we have our lead role Emma Woodhouse [Gwyneth Paltrow] which she is of high society so she leaves a luxurious lifestyle with hobbies and interests and when she is not doing them, she is being a matchmaker to her friends and family. The next two individuals which she will aim her cupid arrow at is Harriet Smith [Toni Collette] and Mr Elton [Alan Cummings.]

This is one of those films that I don't have too much to say about it, the pacing is fluently mobile, don't get me wrong this film is good, but at the same time this project is a period drama/romantic/comedy so there is a lot of dialogue and talking about one's feelings using English from this timeframe. The comedy briefly ranges from inner monologue from Emma Woodhouse's perspective, speaking negatively about somebody or awkward silences and one time of breaking the fourth wall.

The art from the globe and any of this artistry or to the costumes and landscapes and so on this is all good. Likewise the character developments and performances are all good, this is a cast performance everyone gels and has good chemistry.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good: it is a pleasant little film, this film also has awards credited to its name. Three Winners, for an example Academy Awards, USA 1997; Oscar; Best Music, Original Musical or Comedy Score Rachel Portman. Nominees 7 [at the same awards ceremony] Best Costume Design Ruth Myers. But it is now time to leave on a joke/blooper; after watching a perhaps good amount of this film, the person I usually watch films with, did some research on this film, because this cast looked young. Because I was under the impression I was watching the now I know to be the 2020 remake, but as you can clearly see I was wrong we were watching the 1996 version, but never mind, I hadn't seen this film before. In hindsight I should have picked up on this based on the cast wasn't the same.

Mickey's Delayed Date 1947 by AverageMansReviews

Mickey's Delayed Date 1947 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there are flashing/colourful effects

Your late Mickey Mouse: as this project is roughly 7 minutes long, consequently the pacing is designed just to move quickly and efficiently, let's move on; so Mickey Mouse [voiced by Walt Disney] and his loyal and date saving dog Pluto [voiced by Pinto Colvig] as they have both asleep, suddenly the telephone goes off; it is Minnie Mouse [voiced by Ruth Clifford] to find out where Mickey is because he is late for their date, so he rushes to meet her in a panic.

This project is very easy to settle down with, the art/animation is warm and welcoming as for an example we have Pluto asleep and in a dream bubble he is dreaming about him having a bone.

Mickey is looking sharp for his date with Minnie when he leaves his house, but what a shame when he meets her he has gone through a less than straightforward journey to get there [Mickey hayling for a cab and instead of it stopping for him; it drives through a puddle so Mickey gets read] to get their quickly, but don't worry he is able to still pull it off because Minnie pointing out what a cute costume he has on with Mickey basically going in with the attitude of yes I meant to come out like this.

This film receives: 8/10, this is excellent; the only thing I didn't like in this project was this tall hat sequence with Pluto; Pluto goes to pick it up with his teeth and for some strange reason it ducks out of the way so it does this sequence of every time Pluto goes in for it moves somehow out of the way. I mean it would have made better sense if a window was open and every time Pluto went to pick it up a gust of wind would blow it to a different place; I mean this I can get and understand

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: I need really haven't been keeping up with this company, I know little bits and pieces the Cody Rhodes situation and these matches may be in the wrong order.

Rey Mysterio [with Dominik Mysterio] vs. The Miz [with Maryse:] Singles Match: my pick is The Miz. I did hear many moons ago, so just to cover my back this could be just speculation on my part now. But I was under the impression they were thinking or going to split up this father and son Tag Team. So why not either begin it here with Dominik accidentally hitting his father or they could just speed it up, by him turning heel on his father here, or then again I could be completely wrong here.

Ronda Rousey & Naomi vs. the WWE SmackDown Champion Charlotte Flair & Sonya Deville; Tag Team Match: my pick is Ronda Rousey & Naomi. The only thing I have to say here is this is some really stupid booking here. Based on the grounds either way [unless I have missed something which just in case I will apologise here; apologies,] so on either team you have one wrestler/character returning to in ring competition so they have just guaranteed someone is going to be losing on their return; smart bookings... Not! I can guarantee you it will be Deville that takes the pin-fall to protect Flair from the loss heading into WrestleMania 38/2022 with her Championship on the line against Rousey which Rousey will become the new WWE SmackDown Women's Champion.

Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven vs. Nikki A.S.H. vs. Alexa Bliss: Elimination Chamber Match for a WWE Raw Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania 38/2022: my pick is Alexa Bliss. This is sling shot booking so whomever returns to in ring competition instantly gets where they need to be on the card and Bliss vs. the Raw Women's Champion Lynch at WrestleMania 38/2022 where Bliss is also the new Raw Women's Champion is a hard reset on both of these Women's Divisions for the next year of TV programming [hopefully] if we do get this match up/stipulations I have suggested I would really like it to headline WrestleMania 38/Night 1 on Saturday 02/April 2022. I should point out I have just found out they have gone for Rousey vs. Champ Charlotte Flair for the WWE women's SmackDown Championship for this main event slot, I can see why this is understandable it is a big match.

Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss [with Happy Corbin;] Falls Count Anywhere Match. My pick is Madcap Moss. Well they have telegraphed something is going to go down here by using the stipulation of Falls Count Anywhere Match it is designed to protect in this case McIntyre from the loss and it gives Corbin the licence to get involved at some point; why can I see this feud ending at WrestleMania; a 2-on-1 Handicap Match with McIntyre going over [if this does materialise you can take this as my prediction.]

Goldberg vs. Champ Roman Reigns [with Paul Heyman;] Singles Match for the Universal Championship: my pick is Roman Reigns. Everyone knows that Goldberg at this stage of his career cannot do long matches and he needs to be with somebody that will cover up his weaknesses so Reigns will do this, I just wouldn't recommend going for a cup of tea, because you may miss this match or another way of looking at it is; the entrances maybe longer than this actual match.

The Viking Raiders [Erik & Ivar] vs. Champ's The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso;] Tag Team Match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships: my pick is The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso.] Let's be positive for a second this man looks good and is should be good, but I can't see The Viking Raiders [Erik & Ivar] toppling the Champions here.

Lita vs. Champ Becky Lynch; Singles Match for the WWE Raw Championship: my pick is Becky Lynch. No disrespect to Lita it would be good to see her as a Champion again, but as I have already made reference to in this predictions and previous predictions Lynch will not lose her Championship until this year's WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory vs. Riddle vs. AJ Styles vs. Champ Bobby Lashley: my pick is Bobby Lashley. If I was booking WrestleMania, I would want him going in as WWE Champion and dropping it to Rollins [yes once again if this match does materialise in the future you can take this as my prediction:] I just couldn't leave Lashley out of one of the main event matches of WrestleMania, especially when this wrestling company are now and have been using him as he should have always been treated on his return to this company as a big deal.

Additional; on keeping up-to-date with or trying to keep up-to-date on the Cody Rhodes situation. I understand that Lesnar most probably will be going over here and picking up this championship to set up WWE vs. Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38/2022 winner take both Championships. On one hand this really does not appeal to me, either outcome just no thank you, hence why I have stuck with Lashley here at this pay-per-view with a very slim hope heading to WrestleMania as WWE Champion. But on the other hand if we are going to have this/do this can we please, please, please, please make this the final encounter for these Championships, the more I am thinking about it the more this would make sense for the biggest in all of professional wrestling WrestleMania.

The Greenwood Centre for Cultural Heritage: Storyline, Action, Art and Character [Character developments:] these all combine in one way or another; Detective Abar is back here again, but this time as Sister Night. She breaks in this location [basically under a false claim she radios in to Squad that there has been a break-in at the Greenwood Centre for Cultural Heritage the Silent alarm has gone off and she is going to check it out, but it is her breaking into this location.]

So after this she in a nutshell goes to this computer to pick up this new information on her family three in the shape of an acorn in a section name Greenhouse, where you plant [put this acorn in this tube in] this highly sophisticated hologram three comes out and you get this computer telling you about your family tree. In this case Detective Abar/Sister Night finds out more about Will Reeves her grandfather and his unfortunate background.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good: so yes this episode is good, it keeps things going, but by this TV program's incredibly high standards this episode feels slower compared to all of the previous episodes

Uncharted 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Uncharted 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/cutting

I have a job opportunity for you: I will begin in New York Nathan Drake [Tom Holland/younger Nathan Drake better known as Nate; Tiernan Jones] works in this bar as a bar attendant, but I would recommend keeping an eye on your possessions whenever he is around; you see his hands are much quicker and slippery than your eyes are. He gets approached for this job opportunity from Victor Sullivan better known as Sully [Mark Wahlberg.] But after Nathan declines the first time around, he finds Sully's business card in his pocket; Sully has quick hands as well. Nathan agrees to this job not for the financial reward; yes that would be nice but to find out what happened to his older brother Sam Drake [unknown apologies for that/younger Sam Drake; Rudy Pankow.] Finally for a little piece of advice you should watch your back when it comes to Braddock [Tati Gabrielle] and/or Chloe Frazer [Sophie Ali.]

This is just a solidly good film the storyline and pacing, the action, comedy, art, character developments, character types and performances; follow a safe and reliable format; be it Nathan Drake having this action sequence with The Scotsman [Steven Waddington] and the comedy being Nathan have no idea what The Scotsman has just said based on the fact he is speaking heavily Scottish. Or another sequence of action but also mixed in with comedy and art is where we have Nathan and Sully chasing down Chloe; this sequence of events is enthusiastic and it looks excellent as well as it begins if my memory is correct with this rooftop sequence [apologies if I am incorrect about this] but regardless this sequence looks excellent, in fact from an artistic perspective; this film has plenty to offer from a visual perspective.

As I have already also made reference to the character developments, character types and performances are good; they are very much like their character types.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; I mean this film does precisely what it is designed to do, which is do all of the foundation work for possibly a sequel, this is just a friendly heads up there is an extra scene after the title "Uncharted" before the closing credits, I should just cover my back by saying I don't know if there is or isn't any more after scene or scenes, because I had already left, so if you want to go and watch this film and if there is, please get back to me and tell me all about it.

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/medical/stabbing/shooting

So Beth Kane/Alice is going to be killed off by the end of this TV program then: Storyline, Character [Character developments:] Comedy and Action these all combined in one way or another; I should quickly state that this is not a spoiler and it is just speculation on my part, but if you have been with me long enough you would know or will now I have been speculating this since Season 2 for example DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 23: Bat Girl Magic! Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2021/08/dcs-batwoman-season-2-episode-23-bat.html I mean if you can read what you can hear and see, it is annoyingly transparent that by the end of this season that Wilder will have everything she ever wanted a family, a girlfriend and possibly a good career. Dr. Hamilton [after being saved by her stepsister Beth Kane/Alice; Beth Kane/Alice pushes Dr Hamdan out of the way of a fatal shot or something] and dedicates the rest of her life to her clinic possibly renaming it The Kane's Clinic after her stepfather and to stepsisters.

I mean if I am anyway near the right ballpark I will be absolutely fuming, because throughout these three seasons they have tried to drill into our heads that Beth Kane/Alice is a villain, but this is simply not the case I mean throughout season 1 when it was appropriate I highlighted Beth Kane/Alice has done or going to do terrible things which I never condoned, for an example DC's Batwoman [Season 1,] Episode 8: A Mad Tea-Party Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2021/02/dcs-batwoman-season-1-episode-8-mad-tea.html but in a nutshell her family gave up on her and left her behind at 12 years old or somewhere around here if my memory is correct, so she had to survive any way possible. I mean if you read the entire season 1 of reviews this fact and family or stepfamily don't take any responsibility for this which irritated me so much.

But as it relates to here and now I just wanted to bring this up now so when or if it happens I can use this review as reference that I said it way before it happened. I just think it is incredibly fuming, frustrating and sad that this TV program pushes i its agenda yet puts mental health and the fact that if you do anything wrong with or without mental health influences [I should quickly state; it depends what the individual or individuals have done] but in the context of this TV program; Beth Kane/Alice cannot move on from it because as this TV show proves they [meaning these characters will put it back in Beth Kane's/Alice's face when it suits them.]

But let's be positive for a minute; Beth Kane/Alice doing the empty drink straw sucking thing over this important dialogue between Wilder, Fox and Moore this legendary inventor Kiki Roulette and Beth Kane/Alice taking all of this seriousness out of this situation with this beautifully timed sound effect/activity.

Later on there is this lively simultaneous action sequences yes I am classifying this as one action sequence, because they are simultaneous these are good, I will tell you the teams; we have Wilder/Batwoman, Dr. Hamilton and Beth Kane/Alice dealing with one situation and then we have Moore Fox/Batwing dealing with another situation.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; but it clearly suggests that after everything is said and done at the very least Beth Kane/Alice isn't going to have a happy ending and yes I would really like to be wrong about this, I mean at this point I will take a her being alive and free, but not able to come back to Gotham City

Don't I recognise you from somewhere?: After Marianne Graves; high society lawyer [Goldie Hawn] stops to pick up some petrol/gas she recognises the gas pump attendant Billy Ray; various aliases due to being in a witness protection programme but real name Rick Jarmin [Mel Gibson] her ex-fiancé which she thought he was dead based on the grounds she attended his funeral. But after this complete accidental reunion; now their lives are in real danger as there is these two people looking for them in Eugene Sorenson [David Carradine] and Albert Diggs [Bill Duke] for revenge as it relates to Eugene Sorenson for spending the last 18 years in the United States Penitentiary Hodolin-Pennsylvania and a cleanup Albert Diggs so these two individuals can begin new business with the Colombians; yes Eugene Sorenson is wanting to get back into business of drugs, but I am basically pointing out where the focus lies first one is for revenge and the other is business.

For this 110 minute film; the pacing is always moving what with this action/buddy comedy approach and chemistry between our lead partnership feeling free-flowing and natural with likewise good performances [all the performances are all good you know they are what they are.] But back to our lead partnership of Rick Jarmin/Mel Gibson and Marianne Graves/Goldie Hawn; it takes this partnership to be as I have already said free-flowing and natural for it to be a good film, on reflection it heavily relies on this fact, so much so if this partnership didn't work this film would have fallen on its knees, but luckily it works.

Now there was a specific reason I pointed out a high society lawyer as it relates to Marianne Graves/Goldie Hawn, because they have also gone with the characteristics/personality of someone that is completely out of the depths to deal with these ongoing situation changes, be it action on and or in the air or anything else she is completely out of her depths.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; this is one of those films that knows what it is doing and consequently it knows what it can offer its viewers which is a solidly good crime, action and comedy film.
