Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/mention of prejudice comments/shooting/stabbing/impaling/cutting/drugs/man one woman violence/unwanted sexual advances/choking/strangling/ritual/human trafficking/biting/dismemberment/burning. I don't usually say this but in this case I will give you some extra advice this film is graphic, this is just a friendly heads up.

Move over John Wick it is my turn: basically; Kid [Young Kid: Jatin Malik/Older: Kidd/Bobby/Monkey Man [Writer one of them/Producer/Director of this film: Dev Patel:] as a child he witnessed bad things happening to a member of his family and now he is older he is looking for revenge.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 121 minutes film is really slow to begin with and I really don't like the yellow subtitles, as someone that is dyslexic they are to small and obviously when you have something yellow underneath them; well let's be honest as soon as I saw them, I gave up attempting to read them, so I was on my back foot for a little while, I could still get what was going on; but still this was not the most start to this film, including this film is a slow burner at the start. But after some time it eventually woke up and slowly got better and better

Comedy, action and art; now I am just talking about fragments of comedy here, this is not a comedy; John Wick gets a mention and in this action sequence we have this young girl screaming as this vehicle just stops in time not to run over. The action is wanted picks up into another gear I will warn you again it is graphic, but someone must have really like the John Wick franchise as we get those lengthy, engrossing sequences, which from an artistic perspective is firstly very smooth, but also chaotic and of course we have the cultural representation in this film; so there is plenty to see and experience.

Character development and performances; the character developments are good versions of what they are meant to be, but however it is the performances of this cast that give them this authentic presentation and feeling to them; but is special mention has to go out to Dev Patel for being an faultless lead role/cast leader.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; it may have its problems and be a slow burner, but once it is allowed to reach its full potential, this film has lots of hard-hitting action to offer its audiences. As of this content being first create, this film also has an award credited to it as well, 1 Winner SXSW Film Festival 2024 Audience Award Headliners Dev Patel (director/producer) Jomon Thomas (producer) Jordan Peele (producer) Win Rosenfeld (producer) Ian Cooper (producer) Basil Iwanyk (producer) Erica Lee (producer) Christine Haebler (producer) Samarth Sahni (producer) Anjay Nagpal (producer) Paul Angunawela (screenwriter) John Collee (screenwriter)

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/bodily functions/transformation/potentially inappropriate under age implications

What was this garbage?:  Episode in a broad sense; Storyline, Character [Character developments] and Art; really so what am I meant to do with this garbage, I mean it pick things up from where we basically left them, this feels like one of those occasions where I should just say I am dealing with what I am dealing with in front of me, so if it wasn't in this episode I wouldn't be discussing it, no way in hell would I be discussing it because it is just wrong. A part of the Kidd opponent for this match is this elderly man and I don't know what happens, but these this young girl from the ground suggests to bottle his smell so they can pass for being older, I am very much aware that they are making reference to his body odour; but I really, really, truly really don't like how he really likes this idea and we have this scene of him with these young girls with his arms around them. I really don't like this whole thing it is just wrong. Yes there are some good art in a scene/location; it will stick out like a sore thumb as it is really striking.

This episode receives: 2/10, this episode is poor; I don't care on whose idea this character concept was, but it won't be tolerated and the only reason why it this episode got off the bottom mark is because of this art and as you can probably tell I just want to get away from this episode as quickly as possible.

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: CM Punk & Jack Perry footage at AEW All In 2023; based on 27/08/2024 events & Drop It Now! by AverageMansReviews

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: CM Punk & Jack Perry footage at AEW All In 2023; based on 27/08/2024 events & Drop It Now! by AverageMansReviews

Warning/Disclaimer: I should be doing/producing other content, but I feel it important for me to share my opinion on this garbage, so as you can tell I am in no mood to mess around, so there will be adult yet softer version is of what I actually mean and I haven't seen the interview that Punk gave to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hours with Ariel Helwani  Monday 01/04/2024, in its entirety, but I have seen clips of it as it relates to Perry.

I am getting absolutely fed up of this manure: I want to start off with see Tony Khan this is why I stressed to you not to deal with anything to do with Punk, okay the guy may be a draw, but he has a reputation of torching anything standing around him if or when he chooses to burn it down.

But let's move on; what is becoming fudgin' obvious to me is that the WWE can say or do anything they like when they like, because they have their majority of the universe as an army on social media or/and they have like Helwani giving them the space and time to air their opinions so they don't have to do put it on their TV content, when they could just go to these outlets and voice their opinion. I mean as I am incredibly streetsmart, you have to give them credit for that, because it gives the WWE plausible deniability which everyone seems to be using in the WWE defence of essentially or something to the effect of "But at least the WWE didn't spend this amount of time on their own TV programming like AEW did" and as I just have illustrated they don't have to when they have these outlets and as I have just said myself it is very smart. Including the fact is they had The Pat McAfee Show where AEW got referenced in some way or another and if you didn't see this The Miz got asked if he would get the attendance tattooed on him, once again referencing AEW, so as I have made it public knowledge on social media instead of the WWE focusing on this milestone of WrestleMania, they chose to let's call it as it sit there and poke fun at anything to do with or related to AEW.

But through everyone I have been hearing their opinion the majority of you are purely focused on their AEW side of things where they are to blame. At least in my very basic content I can clearly point out that for the past week or more it is in fact the WWE that pushed incredibly hard and the majority of everyone is just lapping it up. I know before this we had Adam Copeland on Dynamite on Wednesday 03/04/2024 giving a rally of the troops, trying to calm down things and giving a response kind of promo and then a week later we have Will Osprey giving apt response to Triple H and there was a life lesson here for the younger generation; if you're going to sling manure, don't be too surprised if it gets thrown back it you. I will give you an adult version of events briefly Triple H made reference to wrestlers in a nutshell choosing a lighter schedule and consequently he doesn't want them in the WWE, so keeping keeping this aboveboard Osprey made reference to I am going to go with let's just say how Triple H finds himself in the position he is in.

Now I don't know too much about Osprey or/and Japan; but I do know that if you have trained or wrestled in Japan regardless of gender, you have to have something about you to stick at it, so indeed if these are Osprey's words are not being encouraged or told by Khan I can see why Osprey took a shot at Triple H and personally it just shows that the WWE and/or Triple H is not learning,

because this has been a long-running discussion topic, where I guarantee you that one point or another if you have been around wrestling long enough, you should have had this conversation about in mid-season or a lighter manageable schedule. I have never been a fan of wrestlers once again regardless of gender doing something like the WWE schedule, just less ring time so they could still be on the road doing segments just not so much ring time, I would prefer them to be used as professional athletes where this individual could have an injury, but if we take them of the ring rotation for a few weeks maybe the injury will calm down.

Let's move on to this footage; let's start by saying I implored Khan somewhere on social media to stop or just to cover my back I was meant to, I also understand by listening to Bully Ray that Perry in my own words rubs people up the wrong way and does himself no favours and even I have said Perry went into business for himself and jeopardised this whole massive event, but as of this incident Punk was 44 years old, so why didn't he just not approach Perry as he clearly throws a rabbit punch/possibly tab and possibly misses [which punk did not disclose, which in turn makes him a liar for not being completely honest] and then chokes Perry out a little bit. I'm going to say this I am not a fan of both of these individuals so I am not defending anyone here, but this behaviour is completely unacceptable on both parts and yes I have seen the extended version of events where Punk seemingly goes for Khan and for those people that are now questioning Khan when he says I was fearing for my life or something to that effect, on one hand that is a little bit extreme but on the other hand when you have a furious wrestler/mixed combat individual angry at you, then come back and tell me how you felt in this situation at the time.

What I would recommend from Khan now you have done this I would draw a line under this and whatever the WWE do or say next, just the bigger and better promotion, because yes I watch the WWE content or some of it and they just aren't worth it. Because quite frankly I mean if we were to talk about the WWE history and I will now if the toxic nature of the WWE Universe continues towards me, I will either just leave it or I will just be copying and pasting this or something to this effect and then leaving it; Maybe, you want to be looking at your own backyard before criticising another wrestling promotion, because AEW has done absolutely nothing wrong compare to the WWE having sexual deviant for decades as its leader. I am not a mark for AEW, because they have fairly criticise them before and I will continue to do so when I feel it is appropriate. But the level of criticism thrown at them before this is just insane, I am often thinking you are aware that the WWE before becoming what it is today, they had similar issues to AEW such as very hit and miss attendances, fair enough I am going decades back, but it happened, actually based on my knowledge I am 90% sure that the WWE pretty much has gone through everything you can go through to get where it is today.

Tribalism is a waste of time as I said to someone today on social media or here is the basic version; if I don't agree with you about Punk you are just going to hassle me so I will agree with whatever you say so you can go and masturbate over proving somebody wrong. If you have been following me long enough, you should know full well, as someone from the alternative way of life I don't tolerate immature people.

If you're old enough you will remember the 2000's and beyond for a long time, the WWF/WWE put out a lot of poor or infuriating content, because basically they had no major competition, so let me make this crystal clear I am delighted to have a thriving fudgin' industry again and for those that spend day after day on social media revelling in and purely showing nothing but hatred towards AEW, you need to get a life and that doesn't include some of you that pretend to want AEW to do well but spend 60% of the time dragging them through the mud.

I know I have made reference to this already; but it is excellent to finish on; AEW or/and WWE just drop it now, I know for a fact that the WWE won't drop it, In fact on Punk social media he is celebrating by putting up something to the effect of/to indicate mission accomplished, to be honest I can't wait until he either turns on the WWE forcing them to activate the behaviour clause in his contract, because that is the funny thing about dealing with a wild creature at one point you run the risk of them turning on their keeper if he retires again, either way can't come soon enough. So it will have to be you AEW Tony Khan to drop it; come on man just drop it your promotion is much better than this and you can do better by not saying or doing anything.

Recommendation of: NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Recommendation of: NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning/Full disclosure/Speculation: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/medical/blood. Full disclosure of course I know the results, but as you can clearly see I still watched this event and there will be some speculation in this content as well.

Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. Champs The War Dogs: Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker; Tag Team Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships: a little while ago I did hear that they were going to give Bron his birthright name of Steiner, is this still the case? Because they didn't keep making reference to it on commentary, I don't mind, I am just wondering when or if they were going to give him this name. As for the wrestling, as you would expect we have a blender of agility and speed vs. strength and power and it delivers, so including the opening package to begin this event. This match/match slot receives: 9/10.

Dijak vs. Josh Briggs vs. Champ Oba Femi: Triple Threat Match for the NXT North American Championship: it does feel like there was a botch here where we have the commentary team putting over this match is being contested under triple threat rules which means the referee is here to do the count indicated by Victor Joseph. But we have the referee in forcing a pin attempt to be stopped based on Dijak's foot being on the ropes and yes commentary pick up on this; Wade Barrett makes reference to this. I would have taken a mark of for this, but to counterbalance this; we have a lot of hard-hitting wrestling. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

Izzi Dame, Jacy Jayne, and Kiana James [with Jazmyn Nyx] vs. Chase University Thea Hail [Andre Chase, Duke Hudson & Riley Osborne,] Fallon Henley & Kelani Jordan: Six-Woman Tag Team Match: at some point in this match the screen does go black, but don't worry it does come back momentarily. This match slot is as my marking would suggest positive, it is a quick paced and fun paste match, with the other bits surrounding this match slot [scripted segment before and eventually after it.] This match/match slot receives: 9/10.

Roxanne Perez vs. Champ Lyra Valkyria; Singles Match for the NXT Women's Championship: for this Mania weekend, I wouldn't have chosen this match outlay, to quickly cover my back you can be this match outlay at any other time throughout the year I just wouldn't do it here, just because on their equivalent of Mania you want a hard-fought contest and yes there is some good bits and pieces, but after taking everything into consideration including in my opinion sucking out the energy of this event, just for the record I know why they did it, it is to protect someone from the loss, but by doing this as I have already indicated it really sucked the energy out of this event. This match/match slot receives: 6/10.

The D'Angelo Family's: Tony D'Angelo [with Adriana Rizzo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino] vs. Champ Ilja Dragunov; Singles Match for the NXT Championship: straight off the bat I have questions why have the entire family come out, surely it would have been better to have one or even none come out with him, as a baby face, you could say I am going to take care of business on my own or as a heel he could hey guys I have this [wink - as to put over if you see me getting into too much trouble you know what to do] and why are we having a similar wrestling injury angle as we have just had in the previous match slot, as I have just indicated previously you can do this kind of stuff and any time just not now. I am not enjoying watching these two spills to the outside over the ropes nearest the entrance [one each,] because they have them twice in quick succession I am confident in saying they are more than likely [I like to give myself some wiggle space in my speech] planned spots; but why? It also opens you up to the potential of unnecessary injuries and then we have the accidental [but accidental clothesline spot at the same time inside the ring,] I have seen many replays I think D'Angelo gets his clothesline in just in time, but it is difficult to tell [I was just thinking I would put this in place to cover my back,] we have Joseph referencing Angelo got him under the jaw, meanwhile on the actual replay as he is referencing this week and clearly see he takes a forearm shot to the face, I don't know if I have made this clear enough yet, I am really not enjoying this match. What a surprise after some head butts on the top turnbuckle on the bottom one closest to the commentary team both of these competitors spilled to the outside off the top turnbuckle again, this is complete garbage. Joseph makes a mistake with the competitors names but he also corrects himself, then we are on the outside again but this time this one makes sense, just to cover my back apologies if I have missed on occasion when they head out to outside of the ring, I think they have but I can't be sure and without giving too much away yes we have the option of interference, but it isn't taken so I have to ask again why is the family out here? And if they wanted to do this character/storyline wrinkle then it should only be in theory one member of the family. So things get stranger these two competitors help each other set up a table spot, then we have a collapsing reversal from power bomb attempt. For some strange reason the crowd are chanting this is awesome, I would disagree. Joseph put over on commentary there is a standing ovation, but based on my viewing it doesn't look like it, there probably is somewhere, but man this match slot is/was incredibly poor, to the point where the only thing it achieves is that; Angelo and the family have the potential of a good storyline and character performance incoming [this is speculation/mixed in with a tiny bit of evidence on my part] and the only reason this slot gets awarded another mark because of the bits and pieces after it as it. This match/match slot receives: 3/10.

Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes; Singles Match: Joseph makes reference to the fact that this would be the first time that two African-Americans have headlined a NXT Premium Live Event. Let's be positive first; by its storyline and feud it should be in the main event slot and who is involved. But having seen this main event once again I find myself with questions; like why did the general manager Ava give the referee instructions to be lenient? When this is meant to be your main event so this Singles Match is a waste of time. Speculation I didn't get that there may be an escalation of a feud, but they could have started with something like Counts Full Anywhere Match and escalate things from there, I mean having the referee get involved at points just felt disjointed, you either go with a singles match as a singles match or something else, you can't blur the lines like this, because you open yourself up to when does a referee get involved or not. The match itself comes off as a very ordinary match, with a very quick wrap-up to this match and consequently event, speculation again as if they were running out of time on this event, yes I am aware of sometimes they put up the ending credit to then surprise people of extra footage but there is nothing here, it is only because of the hosts of this event announcing the attendance record the this match slot gets next to mark. This match/match slot: 7/10.

The average mark of this pay-per-view is: 7/10, it is a good thing that this event ends when it does, because as my marking would suggest of each section this event hits a brick wall and never recovers back to its lively nature from earlier on and whomever had the bright idea to have basically two injured champions, to cover my back again in kayfabe or not, I don't know; it is really lazy storytelling especially when their match slot of back-to-back; in my opinion I think somebody tried to use the equality card, but as I have already said it just comes off really lazy storytelling or coincidental mess up, let’s even when not try to do that again or if you really have to, make sure one happens during the match itself, so it somewhat disguises your intentions, basically let’s be a bit more creative shall we, I mean just off the top of my head you could have taken some footage of them working out or something and because they were pushing themselves too hard something suddenly goes, I mean they just took me not joking about a minute to think of and obviously whomever they are feuding with see is this as a weakness, including the character wrinkle of the heel hasn’t done anything wrong, they are just using this opportunity which has come up, which means they also have plausible deniability and that is how you get to where you want to be, without two match slots feeling and looking similar.

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/bodily functions/transformation

Ikemen Muscle doesn't want to miss the Kidd's next match amongst other things: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Action, Comedy; roughly speaking; we are on Ikemen Muscle's plane with other wrestlers as generally speaking he is discussing things with his father; but whilst he is talking, he is also getting ready to depart this plane whilst it is still in the air; as he presses this eject button and this section of the plane opens up and off he goes still being inside the chair with a parachute coming out; I hope no one comes along and damages this parachute; oh never mind this jet comes along and damages this parachute, with unfortunately Ikemen almost certainly guaranteed to have a rough landing of some description.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; now after taking everything into consideration this mark is right.

4 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/bodily functions/transformation

Black 4. Kevin Mask doesn't look too well: Storyline, Action and Character [Character developments;] now Mask before this match with Black 3. Chijimiman; Ring 1 in the concluding match of this round, but because Mask was doing some extreme training before this match by doing a one-handed/on one finger and stand in a sauna until he went unconscious, he is in absolutely no shape for this match up, but he has the mentality of a wrestler as in I am in no shape to wrestle, but I'm going to wrestle anyway.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; this episode is solidly good.

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 2,] Episode 55: The Final Flush by AverageMansReviews

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 2,] Episode 55: The Final Flush by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/bodily functions/transformation/triggering warning for those or any of a transgender community. There is an adult reference used  yet censored in this content, but it is one of the rare occasions where it makes sense to be used as my opinion.

From me our newest broadcast colleague isn't working out: Storyline, Comedy, Character [Character developments] and Art; giving these recaptures of previous events such in the outlay of; Intergalactic Wrestling Federation Updates in the first Season felt and had the presentation of news headlines and being given that level of generally speaking seriousness; so they were a massive asset to this TV show. I mean I have given them time to sort something out to the point where; I think this is it; I think there may be an inside joke where they have half posteriored these segments and the joke being they have brought a character back in Monsieur Cheeks that if you don't know or couldn't guess by his name closely resembles a posterior.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; I know I haven't discussed this episode, but I was stuck between a wall and a hard place, because if I didn't bring this back up with a clear changes and as I have already indicated it just isn't working and it is so annoying, but this is one of those rare occasions where I will allow my mark to speak to me as it relates to this episode.
