Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/robotics/terrorism/burning/medical

It is a very good thing that we didn't have Hollywood in this battle against humans and artificial intelligence they would probably go on strike again: roughly [it is one of those storylines that is easy to pick up so in this case you would appreciate or probably appreciate me not telling you too much to begin with;] sometime later we have Sergeant Joshua Taylor [John David Washington:] he undertakes this mission to hopefully find his wife;  Maya Fey-Taylor/other name [Gemma Chan:] a known terrorist, the wife of Sargent Taylor and carrying their baby. But that is only the second part two this mission; the first part is; Sergent Taylor with this unit has to go into this location and find  Alpha-O/"Alphie" [Madeleine Yuna Voyles:] she has the ability to tip the balance of this war one way or the other.

Generally speaking: the framework is set out like a theatre production with different act names The Creator, The Child and The Mother; which is a smart and elegant way of doing things. I have to say the framework and pacing of this 133 minutes film is not only a long time, but it also feels like a long time as well which greatly impacts this film on the whole.

Art/Action/Comedy; yes you will get to see these visual and science fiction presents throughout; be it the landscapes and is highly futuristic/science fiction impacted world from I am going to say general shapes heads robots and explosive detonator robots [in hindsight these are my favourite; they are robots which basically are highly sophisticated barrels, which have a set time to run to their destination and take out their target; whomever came up with this idea; highly imaginative concept here] to NOMAD and for a very rough description by vague reference if the Aliens in the Independence Day franchise had this planet Earth would have been taken care of the first time around so there wouldn't have been a need for a second attempt. This film on two separate occasions has a very funny but outside the box comedy style; as we have animals basically helping to explode these explosive devices, I should very quickly state no animals are harmed whatsoever, because if they were I wouldn't find it funny.

Character developments and performances; on both counts they are solidly good; as I made reference to earlier the framework and pacing feels like a bit of a wait on mostly everyone's shoulders. I would like to think that Madeleine Yuna Voyles as Alpha-O/"Alphie" would be at minimum nominated for some positive awards based on this performance as she really does make this character her very own and she outshines everyone else which without giving too much away fits in perfectly as this character offers hope.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; as I have made it crystal clear it is just down to the framework and pacing to why this film doesn't make it into the beginning stages of my positive marking system, but at the very least I can say if you're into your science fiction films take a look at this one. This film has some awards already accredited to its name; 2 Nominees Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) 2023 HMMA Award Best Original Score - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Hans Zimmer and at the same award ceremony/event Best Original Score - Sci Fi/Fantasy Film Hans Zimmer

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW World War 3 1995 26/11/1995 Match 7 Part 7/Conclusion by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW World War 3 1995 26/11/1995 Match 7 Part 7/Conclusion by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning/Just a heads up: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/medical. Just a heads up everyone should know by now, I don't allow adult language in my content, but I know how to work around it.

Match/Stipulations: World War 3 Match; 60 wrestlers divided into 3 Rings, over the top battle royal for the vacant WCW Heavyweight Championship, where both feet must touch the ground; in Ring 1; The Dungeon of Doom's The Yeti, likewise Ring 2; The Dungeon of Doom's The Giant, Ring 3; Hulk Hogan and when Rings 2 and 3 are down to 10 wrestlers, they are all put in Ring 1 and once again likewise that goes for our commentary teams

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Slot Storyline: 5/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: [Ring 1] Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel," [Ring 2] "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & Eric Bischoff and [Ring 3] Chris Cruise & Larry Zbyszko 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 5/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 40/60 - this match/match slot is good.

Comments: well this main event slot was certainly something, these attribute marks are a fair reflection on this slot. Now I have officially seen this concept for myself as in the match/generally speaking of World War 3, it does have two problems in this case; the first problem is; I empathise with the three sets of commentary teams, but having said that on reflection. I know they can't really foresee what is going to happen in a match of this type, but you would think they would and this is speculation on my part because I don't know what they did. But you would think they would all get together and at least have a 30 minute conversation on how they see it going or something to that effect. In a rough description of the kind of; Schiavone first time around makes a blooper about explaining the 10 wrestlers left stipulation in Ring 2 and 3 then later on he tries again and corrects himself, later on we have Heenan calling Big Bubba Rogers the completely wrong name and when I say completely the wrong name I mean it is not allowed in this company as it belongs to the WWF/E something to the effect of Big Boss Man or just to cover my back I am going to say Boss Man, but likewise later on he sets himself up again to use the correct name of or inversion Big Bubba Rogers, Cruise makes reference some kind of reference to not knowing two wrestlers that have just been eliminated or a likewise something to that effect. Basically in its entirety I am now just wondering if the commentary teams should have been somewhere sitting together [I know I have seen the outlay of this event, that would have been difficult to achieve.] But you can't get the feeling that even though I may have gotten these things in the wrong order I am discovering my back either way, next time they should come up with a better strategy/outlay to get a better rapport with one another And I should  very briefly point out we have a multi-screen of three on our TV screens until  it goes down to one ring.

The second problem is; and I have to be completely honest this is unforgivable. The closing outlay to this match is baffling now let me make this crystal clear the only reason I find it baffling and I really, really fudging dislike it. It's because this is the inaugural of this match stipulation or/and stipulations. So for seasoned wrestling fans or anyone surrounding or in the business, if this happened in any other year, I really wouldn't have a problem with it. But as it is the first time showing off this stipulation I am of the belief that you want everything to go according to plan and essentially praise the stipulation/stipulations for resolving the ongoing saga before it

Yes I am fully aware that this is a spoiler version, but I'm not going to directly tell you the outcome because I try not to give that fully away anyway. But when it happens you will be saying; Wow they really pulled that manure here and now? I will make reference to this one more time, if it happened at any other time we wouldn't be having this discussion, I mean what were they thinking? Especially when we have been experiencing this kind of shenanigans throughout this match slot anyway and the final cherry on top of this manure cake is where we have this interview segment which I will discuss a little later in agreement that something clearly went wrong, but the referee; Randy Anderson basically didn't see it and yes I don't care if this is a continuation to progress in storyline, as I have for you made reference to it was built up as essentially a problem solver and yes I know there are some of you out there; that would say it resolved a problem and yes this is true, but it reflects badly on this newlyformed stipulation as it didn't fully resolve the situation previously.

Basic Result: "Macho Man" Randy Savage is your new WCW World Champion

Basic walk-through of this event:

* Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talks about what they had just seen and the controversy surrounding it whilst it is all going down in the Ring 1

* "Mean" Gene Okerlund: Interviewer Hulk Hogan in the middle the ring agreeing with Hogan that something went wrong including bringing Hogan having words whilst Okerlund is holding the mic with the new WCW Heavyweight Champion Savage in a nutshell am paraphrasing he will bring the evidence tomorrow on WCW Monday Night Nitro.

* Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary on-screen to have a discussion about what they are just seen and Schiavone to bring this pay-per-view to close and if you're wondering strangely enough we didn't see any action replay's of this closing section of this main event, I mean the replay facilities must have been malfunctioning or broken, alongside the entrance theme music of "Ooooooh Yeeaah!"

This pay-per-view receives: 6/10, this pay-per-view is good; I can't say too much here, other than this pay-per-view was heading for a higher marking, because at minimum positive. But you come to this main event and they completely blew it and everyone that has been around wrestling long enough you should know this expression very well "It is how you leave them at the end" or something to that effect, consequently this pay-per-view marking took a reasonable hammering.

The highest ranking match on this card based on attributes would be: The Four Horsemen's "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Sting: Singles Match with 50/60.

The lowest ranking match on this card based on attributes would be: The Four Horsemen's "Cripple" Chris Benoit vs. WCW the United States Champion Kensuke Sasaki [with Sonny Onoo:] Singles Match for the United States Championship with 38/60.

Comments: well this main event slot was certainly something and without giving too much away, without sounding or being arrogant these attribute marks are generally speaking for anyone that has seen or hasn't seen this main event is probably a fair assessment, if you want to know anymore please head over to the Spoiler Alarm Version.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW World War 3 1995 26/11/1995 Match 6 Part 6 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects

Match/Stipulations: The Four Horsemen's "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Sting: Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 8/10

Match Slot Storyline: 8/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel" 8/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 8/10

Recommend Watch: 8/10

Match Total: 50/60 - this match/match slot is excellent.

Comments: this match/match slot definitely did what it was designed to do and that was to get the crowd up for this match/match slot and the upcoming main event which is next after this as well. This match is spilling over into and one point or another in one of these three rings; everyone from these two wrestlers, to the crowd to our commentary team picks up their game for at least a notch or more. I think I get what happens next, but having said that I still think it is a little weird. For some strange reason we have Col. Robert Parker and Sister Sherri coming out on what seems to be a date night in kayfabe, I think the general idea is; two people on a date night going to watch some wrestling, which this makes sense. But why didn't they make it a pay-per-view narrative instead of this odd appearance and then checking a little bit later on in this match slot when they are sitting on these chairs in the open interview section where we have seen these interviews take place throughout the night. Like I said I get it, but it is also a bit weird and on top of that it takes a little bit of focus away from this excellent match/match slot.

Basic Result: Sting picks up the W.

Basic walk-through of this event:

* Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talks about what they had just seen over video replays with Sting's theme music "Man Called Sting." Our commentary team appear on-screen to talk about the main event which is coming next, Schiavone sends us to a video package recapping everything on how we got to be in this situation

* Video package once again of a higher quality recapping with voice-over, but also delivering a major stipulation; so not only is it; World War 3 Match; 60 wrestlers divided into 3 rings, over the top battle royal for the vacant WCW Heavyweight Championship, we now have one giant in each ring to begin within Ring 1; The Dungeon of Doom's The Yeti [on a quick side note and a little bit of research they use this name, but when he makes his entrance amongst the other wrestlers he clearly has been already repackaged by appearance of The Super Ninja; very basic description you are looking for  a yellow crescent moon or something to that effect on his repackaging that is him and yes I know Penzer says his name and he does get referenced on commentary, but if you needed some reassurance that is what you're looking for] Ring 2; The Dungeon of Doom's The Giant [of course they made reference to him being the son of AndrĂ© the Giant] and Ring 3; Hulk Hogan

* "Mean" Gene Okerlund: Interviewer Hulk Hogan where Hogan makes reference to the stinky giant again, amongst other things

* [Ring 1] Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary appears on-screen with the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship building up to the main event

* [Ring 2] "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & Eric Bischoff: Commentary appear on-screen, where they continue building things up, but Rhodes makes a blooper where in a nutshell am paraphrasing here, he wants to send it to the ring but Bischoff corrects him, basically pointing out we need to go to Ring 3 first, but I think we can put this down to Rhodes being enthusiastic for this main event mixed with partially forgetting.

* [Ring 3] Chris Cruise & Larry Zbyszko: Commentary appear on-screen, where they continue building things up

* David Penzer: Ring announcer says the stipulations and then introduces the competitors

* [Ring 1] Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talk about the competitors

* Michael Buffer: Ring announcer says outlines this main event but says three rings, 60 men and then for some strange reason three rings again [I don't know if this was written for him this way for possibly dramatic effect or if it was him making a blooper] and amongst other things before and after this with yes he is legendary and synonymous final speech and finally pyro/fireworks

* [Ring 1] Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary finishes building up what is imminently going to take place.

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: CM Punk Behaviour Clause in his Contract? Sold Out in his Return to the WWE in 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: CM Punk Behaviour Clause in his Contract? Sold Out in his Return to the WWE in 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: what I will be discussing in this content has not been confirmed, but it has come from higher ups within the WWE, so obviously it has not been confirmed, but not denied either at minimum I would be sitting on the fence and saying there is probably a good percentage of truth to what has transpired, I just can't say with 100% certainty as of this content firstly being created.

CM Punk has a behave clause?: I can't be the only one that finds this contract clause very interesting indeed? Because it has been indicated that generally speaking that Punk has been well-behaved so far in his return to the WWE, some have indicated a wait-and-see attitude, while it has been said I am paraphrasing here of he has to be on good behaviour. I mean I have never heard of this clause; on one hand I have to commend the WWE for including this clause, just in case if Punk decides to drop another infamous promo/pipe bomb [in a wrestling sense.]

Now I know I will get some form of backlash for saying this but never mind; it does look and very much feel like Punk has sold out, I should very quickly state that the other person that has said this meant it at a different time before me, but I'm saying it now based on this turn of events; as in Mr Straight Edge [Punk] used to say and do whatever he likes, basically rage against the machine in fact he wasn't just raging against the machine a little while ago, okay it was a different machine in All Elite Wrestling, but it was still raging against the machine, so I know it was in kayfabe where Punk on Monday 27/11/2023 he said he has changed, but I am not buying what he is selling.

So if Punk ever gets out of line, all the WWE has to do is pull on his lead which sounds like a perfect metaphor for somebody that has sold out which conveniently leads me back into this promo and what he referenced at the end of it; where he  said I'm back, I am not here to make friends, I am here to make money [full disclosure; I watched the highlighted version and the full segment but I fast-forwarded the full segment to get this excerpt right,] I mean if you have been following me long enough, you should know by now I have as much time for Punk as I have for Scott Summers/Cyclops -X-Men reference.

I mean for me; Punk is another Jeff Hardy but completely different obviously, they could have been on their generations version of Mount Rushmore, but in one way or another they have never even learnt to play the game as in some cases you don't have to like the person you are working with or for, it is all about how you manage yourself either how you put that across to other people or having addiction issues and somehow always getting chance after chance to prove yourself again.

I mean I have to be somewhat professional here and regardless if I don't like Punk he is a needle pusher/draw and he has the right to finish off his career whenever that may be, but having said this I am somewhat curious/interested to see what this behaviour clause is in black and white and what it details and all of that; that is if it ever comes to light or/and used in any fashion.

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: Ric Flair's reaction/public statement to his highly inappropriate AEW Rampage Promo First 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: Ric Flair's reaction/public statement to his highly inappropriate AEW Rampage Promo First 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Related content: Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: Ric Flair AEW Rampage Promo First Appearance that will Hopefully/Needs be cut if AEW have any sense 2023 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2023/11/reactionary-to-wrestling-news-of-ric.html

Just a heads up/Warning Ric Flair response is most definitely far from good: at one point or another I will probably use adapted adult language to what I actually mean. Now it should be noted I was going to focus on different content today, but when I found this out from reliable content creators, it kind of dramatically changed that again [if you are wondering yes yet again I was really going to do other content] and I will be using a pinch of speculation, at some point but it will make perfect sense when it comes up.

In response to the controversial promo Flair had this to say: "I Am So Tired Of Hearing All This Negativity! I Don’t Need To Work, And I Don’t Need The Money. Can’t I Simply Enjoy Being By My Dear Friend @Sting’s Side For The Next Few Months Without So Much Hatred? I Know I’m Old, But That Doesn’t Mean I Can’t Enjoy Life! I Have Earned The Right To Do Whatever I Want & I’m Exactly Where I Want To Be! I Appreciate Everything @TonyKhan, But I’m More Than Willing To Walk Away If I Am Embarrassing You And Your Company. All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry!"

My response is this: What the fudge Ric?! Allow me to tear you a new posterior hole with a pipe bomb [in a wrestling terminology;] the negativity you are receiving is completely 100% justified considering it is now almost 2024 and your outlook and behaviour including alleged behaviour will no longer be tolerated and who are you kidding? Everyone knows and I do mean everyone knows you need to work, because you can't let go of wrestling hence why you had another retirement match in 2022 and I guarantee you, I don't even know you personally but if Tony Kahn gave you the opportunity to wrestle again you wouldn't say no and whatever you're getting paid from Khan I am sure you aren't saying no to that kind of money. So let's not talk garbage shall we? If you wanted to be by your friend's side you should have not opened your archaic and unacceptable material, because let's be honest you have made his retirement journey all about you; haven't you? I mean if you call that being a friend who needs enemies, right? So you acknowledge your getting old, so on the most simplest level forgetting the history for a minute including alleged history, you thought it was acceptable that is 74-year-old man on a national TV program inviting 18-year-old-27-year-old women back to your room was acceptable? I am not being agest here, because perhaps some people with this age gap get along and are happy, but I am more interested in the public image perspective here and then we bring back your history and alleged history it looks so wrong and if you can't understand that then you shouldn't be anywhere near wrestling.

You can absolutely enjoy your life that is your right to do so on your own time, when you represent a wrestling promotion, they expect you or should expect you to act better. Now we come to the big problem of this public statement; you feel like you have earned that right to do whatever you like and want, as I have just alluded to you complete arrogance mother lover yes you can do that on your own time, but where do you get off taking a massive dump in someone else's backyard? What with making Khan looking like a complete fool [don't get me wrong I have said this many times I like TK,] but he is being patronised by Flair for the remaining of this public statement here and yes this apology is insincere. So in a polite fashion my response in finishing this section is; just fudge off Flair and just go home.

Khan how are you going to deal with this situation?: Speculation I would like to think, he is taking a little bit of time to talk to the right people from a legal standpoint, you know making sure from a legal standpoint I can fire or suspend Flair without any legal ramifications [I just say suspend, because just maybe Sting really wants him there at his last match, to show Sting respect so it has nothing to do with Flair really and then after Sting's last match Flair is gone.] But I want to be wrong here; I have a suspicion that TK isn't going to handle this how it should be handled as a owner/a leader of wrestling promotion, which as I have made reference to in the related content section will create some problems, but back to here and now really destroy this whole inclusivity, we do not tolerate any sexual misconduct and this promotion is a decent place to work. This whole entire message and ethos is essentially a bunch of hypocrisy if Flair was to remain, potentially let's not forget fuelling the flames of discontent between some AEW fans including possibly that consequently may feel disillusioned by AEW promoting in a nutshell and I don't mean that disrespectful inclusivity and other things and choosing when to act on it or not, which I don't speak anyone but if that is how they could be potentially feeling I couldn't blame them, because they would be right, which means TV ratings will go down and then it would make a big problem into a colossal problem.

I mean I like TK as I have already said and AEW; but at this moment in time and over recent times they just can't seem to stay out of trouble, I mean I'm pretty sure someone; anyone must have warned TK about CM Punk, he didn't listen and everyone knows Flair comes with lots of baggage and this point has been proven again. I mean at this point in time you may as well bring in Hulk Hogan and Mercedes Moné [a.k.a. Sasha Banks; I know as of this content being created there is the possibility she could be going back to the WWE,] but I digress she is here; because of what I saw in a video clip as she didn't handle a situation very well, so wherever she goes now I just deem her as a problem, after this video clip I didn't want her anyway near AEW.

My final point is; anyone that is against or/and heavily criticising AEW; this is just going to feed them, I can't blame them I mean if TK doesn't show any form of leadership or signs of strong management, it is just going to be open season for any criticism or/and any form of undress be it behind the curtain or in the crowds, social media and/or TV ratings.
