Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/robotics/terrorism/burning/medical

It is a very good thing that we didn't have Hollywood in this battle against humans and artificial intelligence they would probably go on strike again: roughly [it is one of those storylines that is easy to pick up so in this case you would appreciate or probably appreciate me not telling you too much to begin with;] sometime later we have Sergeant Joshua Taylor [John David Washington:] he undertakes this mission to hopefully find his wife;  Maya Fey-Taylor/other name [Gemma Chan:] a known terrorist, the wife of Sargent Taylor and carrying their baby. But that is only the second part two this mission; the first part is; Sergent Taylor with this unit has to go into this location and find  Alpha-O/"Alphie" [Madeleine Yuna Voyles:] she has the ability to tip the balance of this war one way or the other.

Generally speaking: the framework is set out like a theatre production with different act names The Creator, The Child and The Mother; which is a smart and elegant way of doing things. I have to say the framework and pacing of this 133 minutes film is not only a long time, but it also feels like a long time as well which greatly impacts this film on the whole.

Art/Action/Comedy; yes you will get to see these visual and science fiction presents throughout; be it the landscapes and is highly futuristic/science fiction impacted world from I am going to say general shapes heads robots and explosive detonator robots [in hindsight these are my favourite; they are robots which basically are highly sophisticated barrels, which have a set time to run to their destination and take out their target; whomever came up with this idea; highly imaginative concept here] to NOMAD and for a very rough description by vague reference if the Aliens in the Independence Day franchise had this planet Earth would have been taken care of the first time around so there wouldn't have been a need for a second attempt. This film on two separate occasions has a very funny but outside the box comedy style; as we have animals basically helping to explode these explosive devices, I should very quickly state no animals are harmed whatsoever, because if they were I wouldn't find it funny.

Character developments and performances; on both counts they are solidly good; as I made reference to earlier the framework and pacing feels like a bit of a wait on mostly everyone's shoulders. I would like to think that Madeleine Yuna Voyles as Alpha-O/"Alphie" would be at minimum nominated for some positive awards based on this performance as she really does make this character her very own and she outshines everyone else which without giving too much away fits in perfectly as this character offers hope.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; as I have made it crystal clear it is just down to the framework and pacing to why this film doesn't make it into the beginning stages of my positive marking system, but at the very least I can say if you're into your science fiction films take a look at this one. This film has some awards already accredited to its name; 2 Nominees Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) 2023 HMMA Award Best Original Score - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Hans Zimmer and at the same award ceremony/event Best Original Score - Sci Fi/Fantasy Film Hans Zimmer
