Real Talking Time:

My reaction: I have just watched the 107 seconds version of this trailer; it was fantastic; it did everything that you expect a trailer to do, capture your attention straightaway with a bit of the storyline, hard-hitting action and highly engaging at throughout. I know this is a retro trailer, but it is so fantastic that it deserves to be spoken of; so based on this trailer; these two worlds collide Eternia and Etheria: where we experienced this massive array of characters and battling for Good vs. Evil in all its splendour. One of the main reasons that I wanted to talk about this trailer is because; actually it is very sad really; because even in 1985 we had the idea that men, women or indeed others could work side-by-side, without this divisive attitude and yes I am very much aware that She-Ra was and is going to take over from He-Man, but of what I remember you see the writers and everyone else was by today's standards incredibly absolutely smarter than the standards of 2026 and beyond unless things change. Of what I can see; they didn't want both of their franchise lead characters to be nailed on perfect, they wanted them to be given the burden of their choice of to do right or wrong, be strong or intelligent, be the candlelight that their societies/worlds needed them to be and more importantly it is okay to be different and ask for help or/and stand up for yourself

Without sounding preachy; because that is definitely not my way; but I am just disappointed that looking back over this movie trailer which is at this point of this content being first created over 4 decades old and whatever positive steps we made in the 1980s or at any point in the 1990s has been slowly eroded away with this more divisive than ever attitude of pick your lane/group and stay in it and I know it wasn’t completely perfect obviously not, but it felt more like we were slowly, incredibly slowly making more right steps in the right direction for the vast majority at that time or at times in history.

This prediction of this movie is: 9/10, yes I have seen this movie now and again throughout my life, but at this point not for a long time so this prediction still is valid and I like to do is give myself a little bit of wiggle room hence why I didn’t give full marks.
