Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/vehicle hit/vehicle crash/drugs/mental health component/child abuse/drugs/medical and at one point or another I will be using censored adult language references

Why are we here again?: Briefly; Jeremy and Verity Crawford [Josh Hartnett and Anna Hathaway:] he moves around for work and she is an established novelist and at one point they had two children, but when Verity is incapacitated, her husband and more importantly her publishers need somebody to fulfil the rest of her contract obligations, so this is where Lowen Ashleigh [Dakota Johnson:] she is a published writer in our own right, but no way to the level of Verity, so after a little bit of persuading she takes on the job.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script, exposition character developments, character developments, the framework and pacing of this 117 minutes film is for a good chunk of this film a interesting take and positive take on things and it's outlay of contributing elements i.e. exposition character developments/character developments which as I have already referenced is an interesting and positive take including psychological representation as well but I hasten to add they also become formulaic after some time as well.

Art and action; by far the biggest assets at this project is predominantly the backdrop and location with all this foliage and nature aspects, the action well they do their job, so consequently it is for all intents and purposes serveable.

Storyline, script, character developments, performances and the voice performances ; but now to be brutally honest comfortably before and throughout the final quarter of this film; it is where everything goes into the wood chipper and spews out massive amounts of bile and top grade donkey manure; yet again we have another movie based off a novel of the same name that shouldn't be turned into a movie.

Because as someone with mental health issues and having experience of mental health issues since the early 1990s, I can no longer stand watching any projects which are simply glorifying any form of mental health, because what's those in Hollywood don't seem to understand or better yet do not care is the expression of "Monkey see, monkey do" and I am specifically talking about this trio of broadly speaking good-looking people, without giving too much away making the choices that they do which is best for them sociopath, psychopath or as long as they get ahead that is all what matters; basically and they wonder why having a mental illness of some degree has become a popular thing nowadays, so this character types very much quickly get flushed down the toilet alongside my large dump after having a Chinese takeaway, because of this trio having some kind of mental health issues individually or altogether their chemistry is nothing more... than animalistic sexual urges and for the novelist where this source material comes from or anyone that has adapted this individual's source material into this movie is trying to imply any other level is trying to push the narrative that there is much more here than this... is frankly talking out of their posterior and what would support my opinion here is... the chemistry between this trio doesn't have a natural spark or/and free-flowing essence, the voice performance by Verity/Hathaway is excellent though.

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; after everything is said and done it comfortably finds itself in this section of my marking system, but I hasten to add I have a feeling if this film continued anymore than what it did... if anything the markings were going down and in full transparency at one point it was looking to be reasonably high... I was so hoping that this film was going to be something like Misery in basically if you think about it it does have some of its bullet points, but instead got another film similar to The Housemaid 2025 which we just didn't need
