I consider this to be a dropped ball by the WWE: before I continue I should just do a little bit of housekeeping; yes
in the first link In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Fastlane 2023 I
outlined the option that made absolutely perfect sense to do so and in the
second link Recommendation of: WWE Fastlane 2023 yes I have given this
match/match slot a high marking of 8/10.
So the only reason this content right here has been created is based
on the grounds that as I have already indicated I consider this to be a dropped
ball from the WWE, as I made reference to in the predictions content there were
just way too many positives to do this title drop/change here in a nutshell
they have nothing to lose but everything to gain by doing this.
This would be the first major slipup in this ongoing title reign where
they have designed a perfect time to drop the championship but didn't pull the
trigger where I have lost count/lost interest in the WWE Universal Championship
for the same reasons and before anyone brings up the WWE Intercontinental
Championship Imperium's Walter he makes people look better during and after
their feuds it is up to this WWE hierarchy creatively to how the wrestlers get
treated afterwards. Speaking of afterwards, I can pretty much guarantee you
that was the end of Nakamura's push, based on what I saw online a clip of Raw
Monday 09/10/2023 when Nakamura attacked Ricochet; this usually indicates a end
for now at the very least/beginning of a new one and I mean no disrespect to
Ricochet, but what a massive drop down for Nakamura.
The harsh but also fair assessment of both main brand championships
is; if the WWE hierarchy creatively are not careful they will have no one but
two championships in a situation where; if there is not a massive payoff like
someone brand-new or likewise a big name then we will be looking back at these
moments in time going; was that it? That is what you were waiting for? What was
the point of that? When for an example we have Nakamura right here/there? And
let's not forget here is really earned his right/chance to represent the main
roster with a main brand championship you know what I'm trying to say here is
he has done his time and earned his stripes.
Before their time is done they should really team up Nakamura and
Asuka; and call themselves The Unfortunate Souls but in Japanese which in
Japanese is Fukōna tamashī-tachi wa itta [to cover my back I should just point
out I used Google translate] because yes they have won championships on the
main roster, but their main purpose is to put championships around their waist;
one each and hold them for a long time; make their individual reigns eventful
and now I will not have Nakamura physically attack women, but he can do
everything else from distracting them to sliding in a chair for Asuka to use,
use his mist if Asuka as used/mist with hers and vice versa for Nakamura.
The reason why I have chosen that pairing name; it's because within
this company so far individually on the main roster they have never really been
given a long and fruitful push which is unfortunate because they are in their
own rights excellent wrestlers/people hence the word souls.
But back to here and now; I know I have already made this reference,
but it is also a good reference to finish on as well; I hope whenever Seth
Rollins drops this championship it is worth dropping it to someone deserving or
momentous, because I will be looking back at this point in time and questioning
it if it isn't.
