Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 3,] Episode 120: A Brush with Destiny by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/transformation

Kimberley may be leaving for France: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Action and Art; these combined in one way or another; Kimberley's mother has met a nice Frenchman, they are getting married and emigrating to France, which leaves Kimberley anxious and concerned about her present and future as the Pink Power Ranger she is having nightmares about it which a little bit of it may come true for a little while, but don't worry Kimberly I am sure everything will work out in the end.

Kimberley does combat with the Artistmole she uses her Blade Blaster to take down this monster to return the other Power Rangers and Ninjor colour system [to make them whole again with their life force] and whomever came up with this paint effects either the only one that can physically touch him is Kimberley/the Pink Power Ranger or these other paint effects; excellent imagination was used.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; it is a solidly good episode and it is a good progression as well.

Rito Revolto: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Action; these or combined in one way or another. Rito Revolto is doing the destroying thing of somewhere around Angel Grove the Power Rangers with new Zords [Ninjazords.]

Rito Revolto is the brother of Rita Repulsa; a basic description of his appearance is of a skeleton with a army hardhat and likewise army camouflage patches of it a limited amount on his grey body with shoulders on the side which have skulls on either side; this is excellent art. He does have fears and highly trained combat skills in this section I am making reference to he sums his flamethrower with 30 million BTU's [on a quick research this stands for British Thermal Unit] Which it has been designed in the model of The Ghostbusters Proton Packs, it looks excellent when he uses it on the Red Ape Ninjazor, but there is one final thing I should tell you about Rito; how to put this nicely and generally speaking he isn't the most brightest bulb in the box.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; from beginning to end it has so much to offer its viewers.

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 1,] Episode 1: A Legend Reborn by AverageMansReviews

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 1,] Episode 1: A Legend Reborn by AverageMansReviews

The Rule of these episodes reviews: as usual the 3 to 5 things about one episode applies and you will notice a change I will keep the old style just to finish off old episode reviews and then when that is completed I will switch over to this slightly adapted version.

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/transformation/bodily functions

Episode advice: this Anime/Manga TV show uses the outlay of continuation a lot, so it is important that you watch these episodes in the right chronological order, because some of these wrestling matches overlap episodes and yes we do get a recap thing, but I will discuss that later on and finally if you're interested in watching this TV program just watch the intro it tells you everything you need to know.

The dMp [Demon Making Plant] vs. The Muscle League: Character [Character developments,] Storyline and Art; what we have here is a parody of wrestling in varying degrees, but before I continue I should cover my back by saying that this is an English interpretation of Anime/Manga so these characters names may have been changed like for an example Harabote Muscle is Vance McMadd and I don't know if we are going to meet his children, I have just put them in here to lay out the cards from the very beginning and I have researched some of this; but I digress a little bit more specific; the NWO [New World Order] vs. WCW [World Championship Wrestling] with the Lead Director of IFW [Intergalactic Wrestling Federation] Vance McMadd [Vince McMahon; when this was first being dictated he is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WWE; World Wrestling Entertainment and Vance McMadd has two children Ikemen Muscle [Shane McMahon and Jacqueline Muscle [Stephanie  McMahon.]

In short The dMp defeat The Muscle League, basically because The dMp are much younger than the veterans of The Muscle League, so it was decided that Kid Muscle son of the legendary King Muscle, would travel from his home planet of Planet Muscle to Earth to take on The dMp, but he won't be doing this on his own. But there is one massive problem he is only a bit like his father, yes he is his father son with his looks and mask on; it is a family tradition to wear a mask, similar to a Luchas wrestler's way of life, but how can I put this nicely he is hardly serious for most of the time, he is still at high school or their equivalent and a coward, don't get me wrong when push comes to shove he backs it up and briefly the 3-D effects of this mask going round and round in this light on this stone or something like that stand, before King Muscle puts it on Kid Muscle looks very good.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; it sets everything down and gives you a little taste of things to come, it just depends if you are into wrestling not, if you are this will suit you down to the ground or you are into Anime or Manga give it a go, but if not still give it a go but I am aware you may not like it or you may like it who knows.

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Double or Nothing 2022 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Double or Nothing 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Buy-In; Hookhausen [Hook & Danhausen] vs. Tony Nese & Mark Sterling; Tag Team Match: my pick is Hookhausen [Hook & Danhausen.] This duo have so much potential, but however I would slowly build up over time and avoid putting a rocket to their back, just based on at this current time there is quite a few tag teams around the AEW World Tag Team Championships, I would prefer them to build up their reputation and gimmick, so that when it is time for them to enter the picture they are given the role of outside possibility dark horses, that kind of angle so that everyone knows their reputation precedes them, but they have never been in this Championships position before.

Anna Jay vs. Champ Jade Cargill [with The Baddies; Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet;] Singles Match for the AEW TBS Championship: my pick is Jade Cargill. Obviously this is speculation; but I think it would be a good time to put Anna Jay with another two female wrestlers so we can have a trio on trio feud, so going with the safe and reliable beat down saving angle with these other two running down to the ring.

ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe vs. Adam Cole; Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament Final Singles Match: my pick is Adam Cole. I want to give him a credible reason to be back in the AEW World Championship picture, so this would do that, I suspect they are going to use the template of Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh; consequently Adam Cole picks up the victory, so that Samoa Joe continues this feud with them.

Britt Baker, D.M.D. [with Rebel & Jamie Hayter] vs. Ruby Soho; Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournament Final; Singles Match: my pick is Britt Baker, D.M.D. in short for the same reason as her real-life boyfriend. I do see anyone from Baker's side of things getting involved at some point or points during this match.

Serena Deeb vs. Champ Thunder Rosa; Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: my pick is Thunder Rosa. I see Hikaru Shida screwing Serena Deeb out of this Championship opportunity, I would prefer something like on the blindside of the referee.

Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland vs. Team Taz [the FTW World Champion Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs with Taz] vs. Champ Jurassic Express [Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus with Christian Cage;] Three-way Tag Team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships: my pick is Jurassic Express [Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus with Christian Cage] with Jungle Boy perhaps using heel tactics to retain, I am not necessarily turning him heel, I am just trying to illustrate he is desperate to pick up the W. consequently retaining with the other two teams continuing their feud.

Jericho Appreciation Society [Chris Jericho, Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager] vs. Eddie Kingston, Pride & Powerful; Santana & Ortiz Blackpool Combat Club [Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley with William Regal;] The Anarchy in the Arena match: my pick is Eddie Kingston, Pride & Powerful; Santana & Ortiz Blackpool Combat Club [Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley with William Regal. This is just the beginning so expect blood this match is going to be absolutely mayhem, let's just hope that everyone gets through this relatively unharmed.

MJF vs. Wardlow; Singles Match; if Wardlow wins he is released from his contract with MJF and allowed to sign with AEW, but if MJF wins Wardlow is permanently banned from signing with AEW: my pick is Wardlow. He has proved himself in this feud to be a big deal, so let's just get this done and just for the record I don't expect MJF to go quietly either.

House of Black [Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews & Brody King] vs. Death Triangle [Pac, The Lucha Brothers; Penta Oscuro & Rey Fénix with Alex Abrahantes;] Six-Man Tag Team Match: my pick is House of Black [Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews & Brody King.] Expect weirdness; let me now be a little bit more specific, I think this is where they will pull the trigger on Julia Hart joining the House of Black, because this would be a pay-per-view so it would be a good time to do it.

American Top Team; Men of the Year [the AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page & Paige VanZant with Dan Lambert] vs. the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti & Frankie Kazarian; Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match If American Top Team win, neither Guevara or Kazarian can challenge for the TNT Championship as long as Sky is champion: my pick is American Top Team, Men of the Year [the AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page & Paige VanZant with Dan Lambert,] on both counts it is a good way to promote either new names and/or new feuds

The Hardys [Jeff & Matt Hardy] vs. The Young Bucks [Matt & Nick Jackson with Brandon Cutler;] Tag Team Match: my pick is The Hardys [Jeff & Matt Hardy.] This match is going to be lots of fun, in fact all of these matches in this blog are going to be lots of fun, but in this case it is just going to be a case of  The Hardys [Jeff & Matt Hardy] being put over as this is their first pay-per-view together under the name of AEW.

CM Punk vs. Champ "Hangman" Adam Page; Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: my pick is Champ "Hangman" Adam Page. I do have this feeling that someone is going to either debut or return and even before you think it, I don't know about Kenny Omega, because when he went off he had a list of injuries requiring surgeries so as far as I am aware he is recovering or at minimum working on his comeback at some point, so Pages will keep this eye on the ball to pick up the win, but at some point down the line we will have a trios singles match for the AEW World Championship where Punk will become the new Champ, but whatever happens down the line Punk will become the Champ after this pay-per-view. But it has to be said that Page has definitely shown he is a main event player, I knew this anyway because be for this he showed potential, but the difference between then and now is we now know he is a main event player, in fact he is AEW's Shawn Michaels.

Full disclosure: on Friday 27/05/2022; I just went looking for the matches for an up-to-date version you know so I could just finish this blog, but some complete heel had already put up the results of those matches announced/booked at the time, so I have just gone with as if I didn't know and yes when I last looked at this page it looked as if someone had tried to change the page, I know YouTubers produce videos like this which I have no problem with, because they make it perfectly clear in the title and the thumbnail so it is the individual's choice to press on the video. But when somebody deliberately updates a web-page; before time and incidentally if it should happen that you or anyone updates things before time as long as you give a spoiler warning, I also have no problem with you, but in this case there was no need to do it and as I have just said this individual was being a complete heel.

On Saturday 28/05/2022 someone has put it back to the way it should have been until after this pay-per-view. On Friday 03/06/2022 the person that put up the results the first time around was wrong in some cases of what I remember.

Additional Match/Result:

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing chopping/be heading/decapitation/burning/medical/torture

Assemble for the forth and in some cases for the last time time: continuing from where Avengers: Infinity War 2018 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2022/05/avengers-infinity-war-2018-by.html if you want to catch up, finished the remaining characters such as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man/Howard Potts [Robert Downey Jr.] and Nebula [Karen Gillan] are stuck on the ship running out of oxygen, whilst on Dimension-616 Earth/Midguard Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow is trying to keep things in order with Steve Rogers/Captain America [Chris Evans] doing group sessions for people are just into their new way of life. But suddenly Scott Lang/Ant-Man [Paul Rudd] comes back from the Quantum Realm which he has been stuck in for over 5 years, but to him it was much shorter but nonetheless he comes back with an idea which may in theory just work.

The pacing for this 181 minutes film is generally speaking good, meaning it is a bit slow, but after some time it slowly gets better and better. I do understand this slow big portion; it is heavy on the dialogue exchanges and it is an excellent thing that over many years or in comparison a short amount of time [depending on when they got introduced into the MCU; Marvel Cinematic universe,] these character developments/performers/performances have been slowly nurtured by everyone concerned be it the script writers or the director or the performers themselves [or just to cover my back anyone else I have missed.] But having said all this there is still one character/performer who sticks out like a sore thumb and that is surprise, surprise Carol Danvers/Vers/Captain Marvel [Brie Larson,] don't get me wrong she has a moment with Peter Parker/Spider-Man [Tom Holland] where she is showing signs of momentarily being charming and funny, but is it me or whenever minus this moment is there a weird atmosphere whenever she is in this film giving or sharing dialogue, full disclosure I have seen so much content to support what I am saying here, what I can only describe or best describe as in a short description with her doing the media circuit with her co-stars for this film it is just awkward on a grand scale [if you want to know more about my opinions on her, in the previous film review of the link I have put up, I am also linked in some other relating blogs.] But mostly minus her this is a cast performance as everyone else hits it out of the park with fantastic ease as they have characters arguing at one point Tony Stark and Steve Rogers or Dr. Bruce Banner/Hulk [Mark Ruffalo] and Rocket [voiced by Bradley Cooper] as in a nutshell they go to seek Thor [Chris Hemsworth] at New Asgard [Midguard.]

On finding Thor he is somewhat hairier and not exactly in the same physical shape that we have come to expect, so Dr. Bruce Banner/Hulk tries to be supportive but at the end of it Rocket just points out we have beer on the ship. This is an excellent time to point out that Thor is the comedy factor, don't get me wrong there are other comedy contributions, but Thor brings the comedy to the table and no if you're wondering it doesn't devalue or turn him into a joke, it is perfectly within his nature to do this considering what is life has been like up to this point and for another comedy, but without giving too much away we have this selection of characters talking about theories of time travel, makes for an interesting insight, which for most of my life, it sounds like I could be wrong, but as I have been thinking about this; I will take this opinion under advisement, but as I have recently just said I have been thinking about this, so what I have decided to do is go with the rules of time travel which depending what universe I am in watching basically, is the rules I will be using.

The art and action is of the most highest calibre; the scenery is truly eye-catching and captivating, including make-up and wardrobe Winner Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2019; Saturn Award; Best Make-Up John Blake Brian Sipe or Nominee Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Awards 2020 Nominee Costume Designers Guild Awards 2020; CDG Award; Excellence in Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film Judianna Makovsky; be it time travel or Ant-Man/Giant-Man [everything that comes with him] or The final battle sequence winner takes everything. Even Pepper Pots/Iron Lady [Gwyneth Paltrow] lines up to put foot to posterior [I should just point out I am not being a sexist here, just pointing out that everyone that could suit up did.] In this massive life changing action sequence we have this really serious game of we need to keep the Gauntlet which has the 6 Infiniti Stones away from Thanos [voiced by Josh Brolin] whilst simultaneously fighting him The Black Order a.k.a. the Children of Thanos and the Outriders and it is safe to assume any other forces at Thanos disposal. Which no surprise this Won awards like Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2019; Saturn Award; Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture or Nominee Academy Awards, USA 2020 Nominee Oscar Best Achievement in Visual Effects Dan DeLeeuw Russell Earl Matt Aitken Daniel Sudick.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is lots of fun; yes as I have previously stated this film is a little bit slow and yes it wasn't lost on me that they briefly discuss what happened to Dr. Bruce Banner/Hulk from the previous film to this one, but fingers crossed that they bring it up in Marvel Studio's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law 2022, just for a little bit more substance here. But generally speaking this mark is a fair outcome. This film has so many awards accredited to its name 70 Winners for an example AEAF Awards 2019; AEAF; Feature Film VFX - Gold Weta Digital and 132 Nominees for an example BAFTA Awards 2020; BAFTA Film Award Best Achievement in Special Visual Effects Dan DeLeeuw Daniel Sudick Matt Aitken Russell Earl, it does have for some negative awards credited to its name such as Nominee Golden Schmoes Awards 2019; Golden Schmoes Most Overrated Movie of the Year and for some strange reason this award is accredited here; Columbus Film Critics Association 2020 Actor of the Year (for an exemplary body of work) Scarlett Johansson For Captain Marvel , Jojo Rabbit and Marriage Story.

At the end of this film; roughly around the closing credits we have this entire sequence this part of the MCU  has come to a close, obviously they will use this event as in what is in this film to build upon in the present and moving on, but this entire sequence of seeing these performer name with characters in action or seeing these performers on screen with light hitting their bodies so it lights up a bit with their performer name and signature; this is a classy way to bring things to a close. I was thinking I would leave this review like this and in the word of Stan Lee "Excelsior!"

The Reptons: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Arts, Action; these combined in one way or another; Kobra Khan is seeking the assistance of Prince Adam/He-Man it is the difference between life or death for is people known as Reptons, but in his Land Shark he finds Prince Adam, a little later becomes Prince Adam/He-Man, Cringer but likewise a little later becomes Cringer/Battle Cat, Duncan/Man-At-Arms, Orko and Attak Trak; a truce is agreed upon just until this situation is over with. I wouldn't trust Kobra Khan as far as I could throw him which wouldn't be that far, but there is one moment where it looks and feels momentarily honest and true, that is until we get this inner monologue from him and just to cover my back I know he is not the only character that does this inner monologue. I really like this underground landscape of the Reptons home; it has this presentation and feel to it as this home is massive and made from likewise massive bricks or square or any shape that is required of stone of an ancient civilisation to it. Prince Adam/He-Man turns himself into a human drill, by throwing The Sword of Power up to chop down this massive icicle which is conveniently basically of a drill accessory, so with this icicle he drills all the way down into the centre of Eternia to release molten lava to restart the eternal flame which keeps the Reptons warm, so that they don't go into hibernation forever and potentially die.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; it is something different which is a positive obviously, but as this was the final episode of this TV series, it would have been good to have Skeletor in some capacity. This TV program has Awards accredited to its name; 1 Winner Troféu Imprensa, Brazil 1986; Troféu Imprensa Best Cartoon (Melhor Desenho Animado.) 3 Nominees for an example; Young Artist Awards 1986; Young Artist Award Best Family Animation Series or Special. There is only one way I can finish this TV series and that is by is this it for Prince Adam/He-Man and the planet of  Eternia and its inhabitants good or evil? In the words of Master Yoda [Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi 1983] "No, there is another."

Replacing Beast Man: Character [Character developments,] Action, Art and Comedy; these combined in one way or another. Beast Man points out to Prince Adam/He-Man where this invention by the name of The Anger Beam is [which is situated up this tree, because Beast Man put it there to begin with under the instruction of Skeletor, this device was invented by Maddok.] The reason why Beast Man does this is simply this; he wants to stay in service to Skeletor and not be replaced by this device. So Prince Adam/He-Man inadvertently takes care of this for Beast Man; inadvertently, because Prince Adam/He-Man is trying to protect these creatures and stop Skeletor from his latest scheme.

He-Man jumps/climbs up this tree to retrieve this machine, has a little bit of discussion with Skeletor and in summary it is focused on sending back this device to Skeletor, whilst they are trying to make a quick getaway in The Collector and Prince Adam/He-Man is climbing down this tree, at the same time bending it back to be used as a catapult, he situates this device in this potential birds nest, but in this case it is full of these angry bees, Maddok had sent out the beam for the is bees to be affected whilst they made a quick getaway. But Prince Adam/He-Man sends this device and these angry bees back to Skeletor; Prince Adam/He-Man hits his target of The Collector makes a hole with Skeletor, Maddok and Evil-Lyn being swarmed by these angry bees.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; after everything is said and done this episode is a solidly good episode which has a good selection of Eternian creatures for us to see and experience.

Given Spikor power boost for these games: Storyline, Characters [Character developments,] Comedy and Art; in one way or another these all combined; this race known as the Bendari The Seekers of Truth have come to Eternia, because they basically have no good vs. evil on their planet, but they want to understand it. So they have come here to pick the strongest one on either side at that time. The Rules are as follows; these competitors have to follow this very basic compass attached to their wrists [an arrow] to pick up these yellow balls and press on the button to collect 200 points, there is one red ball which is worth 2000 points and after all these balls have been collected we add up the scores to find out the winner, the evil can use anything or anyone at any time [anything goes for them.] But the good, can receive assistance but however whomever gets involved replaces the person that they are helping. Bendari comeback a day later to find for the good there is Fisto and for the evil we have Spikor. You see whilst the Bendari were away in that time period at Snake Mountain Skeletor has this invention by the name of the Evilgizer; its function is to increase the persons powers whomever steps inside it which of course appeals to  Skeletor's disciples [on a quick side note I know in the intro to this TV program it calls them the forces, but if we were to be honest they aren't his forces they are his disciples minus Evil-Lyn which she is his right hand person/General, but she knows deep down and Skeletor knows it as well that if there was a better or an opportunity to stab him in the back she would.] But I digress we have in no particular order just in case I get it wrong Beast Man,  Spikor and Mer-Man all having these massive grains on their faces as to illustrate one's they have the power they could easily overthrow Spikor. But that all changes when Skeletor points out the reason why he didn't do it is because it has side effects, so Beast Man and Mer-Man quickly bailout on the idea so they fall back to give the illusion that Spikor has stepped forward. Now either in this sequence of events or slightly later on to see this Evilgizer in action is excellent art, starting with Skeletor using his Havoc Staff,

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; it has lots to enjoy, but we don't get to see any form of repercussions mentally or physically for Spikor, yes I know  Skeletor could have been either not willing to do this so he could have been lying or just lying to keep them in check so they don't overthrow him, but either way or anyway it would have been nice to have a better conclusion then the standard Skeletor getting angry thing, I'm sure that they could have put or mixed something in here.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe [Season 2,] Episode 127: The Ancient Mirror of Avathar by AverageMansReviews

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing effects/other effects/transformation

Moss Man: Storyline, Characters [Character developments,] Action and Art; these components combined in one way or another; in this episode this new character is going to be extremely useful. But Melaktha [Eternian archaeologist] doesn't seem to like him much until he saves his life, isn't that always the way someone doesn't like you much until you save their life. But I have to say with only a small amount of episodes left, it is just a shame that [I haven't seen the upcoming episodes yet,] but for here and now we won't get to spend a great deal of time if at all with Moss Man as he has these abilities such as when he goes to sleep, he can transform into anything plant-based for an example like in this episode when we first meet him seaweed or telepathy with anything plant-based [similar to when Beast Man and his abilities to control beasts/talk to beasts using telepathy, but at least Moss  Man asks or talks nicely so it isn't a controlling relationship] and he can also transform down into vines to do get through things or move himself from one location to the next as long as he can reach with his vines to begin the transfer from one location to the next. To be honest they should have really brought this character in much, much, much so much more sooner than this episode. I mean he even helps Prince Adam/He-Man in these horrific weather conditions as Prince Adam/He-Man holds up this ship out of see so Moss Man can plug up this sinking ship they were sailing on, well I say he helps which he does, but he asks the seaweed via telepathy if they can help them plug up this whole which of course they are more than happy to oblige them, as this seaweed curls itself around and around which with round this whole gets smaller and smaller and then it puffs itself up so it will hold until they get back to the dock; this looks highly imaginative.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; after everything is said and done this mark is a suitable outcome, as I have previously stated I think they have really missed a trick with introducing Moss Man so late on in this TV series, on top of that once again I haven't seen the episodes after this point yet, but without giving too much away yet again they have missed a trick with introducing this mystical artefact [the mystical artefact is the title of this episode] way too late in this TV series, but I just want to state for here and now I hope but probably unlikely they will do something with Moss Man and this mystical artefact in the last few episodes, because if they don't there is so much wasted potential here.

Avengers: Infinity War 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Avengers: Infinity War 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/decapitation/breaking/medical/impaling

Assemble for the third time: everything in this Universe/Dimension has been leading up to this point in Dimension 616 Earth/Midguard Thanos [voiced by Josh Brolin] with his infinity Gauntlet on is on the search for all 6 Infiniti Stones, with whose The Black Order a.k.a. the Children of Thanos [highest skilled warriors] and the Outriders and what does Earth have to protect it? Some Avengers that are far from being in the same library in the same dimension, some relatively newbies in Dr. Stephen Strange/Dr. Strange [Benedict Cumberbatch,] Peter Parker/Spider-Man [Tom Holland,] not forgetting The Guardians of The Galaxy misfits apparently been led by Captain Rocket/Rocket/Rabbit [voiced by Bradley Cooper,] Dr. Bruce Banner [Mark Ruffalo] which is having Hulk issues and finally the King of Wakanda T'Challa/The Black Panther [Chadwick Boseman,] so the battle line has been drawn let's begin.

The pacing for this 149 minutes film is flawless, because as I have already made reference to when you have been slowly but surely building over many years to this one point which firstly I have no doubt it has been hard work, but  secondly for here and now it should be a lots of fun, to see how these layered characters interact with their own high levels of character developments with their in some cases long-term performers or their newly performers just slotting in and picking up the baton and carrying things on. On a quick side note there is only one that has had problems with gelling or carrying on from where the previous characters or performers have took the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe] is Carol Danvers/Vers/Captain Marvel [Brie Larson] and just before I go back to this review I am aware I am being very kind when I say had problems; this would be an understatement, I am discussed this point previously in Average Extra of: Captain Marvel 2019 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2019/03/average-extra-of-captain-marvel-2019-by.html, Average Extra of: Avengers: Endgame 2019 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2019/04/average-extra-of-avengers-endgame-2019.html and Average Extra of: The MCU Are Potentially Heading Towards A Universe Shattering Of Problems Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2020/07/average-extra-of-mcu-are-potentially.html and I know for here and now I know she isn't in this film, But it is very much still a valid point that she is the only one that hasn't slotted in and willingly just gelled into the MCU.

But I digress these performances were flawless this is just very much a cast performance; for an example People's Choice Awards, USA 2018; Winner; People's Choice Award; Favorite Female Movie Star Scarlett Johansson and Nominee Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle Awards 2019; CIFCC Award; Best Ensemble Cast Sarah Finn. So mixed in with these characters developments and performances is this appropriate comedy level for these ongoing developments, for two examples we have Thor making reference to Rocket as a Rabbit, when clearly he is a  Raccoon [to be a little bit more specific a genetically engineered Raccoon] and touch of improv from Dave Bautista as Drax as it relates to finding Gamora [Zoe Saldana.]

The action and art are truly captivating as from scene to scene there is just so much to see and experience regardless if we go from one situation to another or back and forth or to a different situation, they just very clearly know what precisely they wanted to achieve be it a small moment in time or a massive action sequence for an example Wakanda location of this conflict between Good [T'Challa/The Black Panther his army, M'Baku; Winston Duke, the Jabari Tribe leader and some of The Avengers for one name Steve Rogers/Captain America; Chris Evans]  vs. Evil [The Black Order/Children of Thanos; for one example  Proxima Midnight; Carrie Coon and the Outriders; this section got some Nominees MTV Movie + TV Awards 2018; Best Fight Scarlett Johansson Danai Gurira Elizabeth Olsen Carrie Coon Black Widow, Okoye, Scarlet Witch vs. Proxima Midnight and Visual Effects Society Awards 2019; VES Award; Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature Florian Witzel Adam Lee Miguel Perez Senent Francisco Rodriguez "Wakanda" alongside this sequence we also have this science/medical procedure.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it is full on from beginning to end it doesn't stop and yes we have one extra scene right at the end of the credits. This film has Won 46 Awards; for an example Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2019; Saturn Award; Best Supporting Actor Josh Brolin and Nominees 79 Awards for an example Academy Awards, USA 2019 Oscar Best Achievement in Visual Effects Dan DeLeeuw Kelly Port Russell Earl Daniel Sudick.

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing effects/other effects/transformation

Are The Gatekeeper and Zagraz The Comets Keeper identical twin brothers?: Characters [Character developments,] Blooper, Action and Art; in one way or another these all combined; now let's get down to business in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe [Season 2,] Episode 121: The Magic Falls, here is the link to this episode if you are interested https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2022/04/he-man-and-masters-of-universe-season-2.html, but in short we need this character called The Gatekeeper [voiced by Alan Oppenheimer] but lives in the mirror in this mountain he has the ability to go/take people to different dimensions. Whilst Zagraz The Comets Keeper [voiced by John Erwin;] has the ability's to control these comets, including this young one by the name of Squiggles. On some research before someone points it out, I have just remembered that Zagraz The Comets Keeper [voiced by John Erwin] hereIn the UK order of episodes; He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 1: The Cosmic Comet, Here is the link if once again you are interested in my thoughts on it https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2017/06/he-man-and-masters-of-universe-83-85.htmlBut I have slightly digress, even though I have pointed all that out in the interest of fairness and balance I have to make this point which is very valid. Back in the 1980s animated TV shows were made by cell by cell hand drawn, Which they could put in little details and the animation itself would stand the test of time, but however it was so expensive, so they had to reuse them as much as they could to keep the cost down.  Zagraz with his comets put on this performance for Prince Adam, Teela and Orko including an encore; this is all good.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; the more you watch this episode the better and better, it has lots to offer its viewers.

Oh Cringer: Action, Character [Character developments] Art and Comedy; all these components combined in one way or another; Orko is sparring [boxing] with the standard threat of if I ever see this individual again [in this case Angast] I will give him one of these and one of these; suddenly Orko sees this silhouette of this individual on the wall, instantaneously becomes frightened simultaneously saying this individual's name and quickly heads for a hiding place in this tall extensive pot in fact he magically puts the lead on top, the viewers can see Prince Adam dashes to from a different part of the Throne Room to see what is going on [we see a little bit of Cringer's claw the camera spans more across to see Cringer making finger puppets by candlelight; he is crouched down making this silhouette looking happy with Prince Adam saying his name in such a way that it indicates, that he has been caught doing something he shouldn't really have been doing with Cringer saying Hello Adam giving a little wave, I was just [Cringer clearly trying to think of an excuse] with Prince Adam saying " You were just scaring Orko" [Prince Adam's eye nearest the camera winks] with Cringer giving a very soft and sweet yes, fun wasn't it. With everyone in the Throne Room laughing besides Orko which he appears out of this expensive pot with his arms crossed and looking not amused with the lid on his head.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; the more you watch of this episode the better and better it gets to the point where this mark is the outcome

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing effects/other effects/transformation

The Valley of Echoes: Storyline, Art, Action and Character [Character developments] all of these components combined in one way or another; we have Orko, Teela, at this location being joined by firstly  Ram Man, then Cringer/Battle Cat and Prince Adam/He-Man in short on this rescue mission for Duncan/Man-At-Arms;  Ram Man notices these tracks and unfortunately this group has to go through this foggy and infamous location [infamous; for anyone that goes through it gets lost in it for its overwhelmingly negative impact on those that dare to tread here.] It could be a familiar voices to entice you more into its grip or for an example Prince Adam/He-Man having to momentarily face is fear when this mirage of Skeletor appears [big head/ face, a pale/vague form of his usual colour system] and I am paraphrasing here I have finally defeated you as a hand comes out to reach/our hero putting up a fight crying out No/grab/hold Prince Adam/He-Man with Prince Adam/He-Man By doing their standard super strong character thing of expanding to break free out with a cry of Noooooo! Consequently this mirage gets torn to shreds like paper.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; the highly imaginative and creativity used in this episode is why this episode receives this mark, I mean generally speaking putting the art to one side for a moment, this is a solidly good episode but as I have just referenced the art pushes this from a good solid episode to a excellent episode.

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls 1995 by AverageMansReviews

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls 1995 by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/animal cruelty/bizarre birth/bizarre animal and human lovemaking element/animal feeding/human feeding/torture/medical/disembowelment

The Pet Detective is back, but this time nature goes wild: after this tragic accident in the Himalayas a parody of Cliffhanger 1993 opening sequence. Ace Venture/Equinsu och; interpretation White Devil [Jim Carrey] and Spike [Binx the Capuchin Monkey] are found by Fulton Greenwall [Ian McNeice] in this monks monastery; known as the Ashram, he has been essentially being given these instructions by Vincent Cadby/Equinsu och [Simon Callow] to offers Ace $20,000 to find this missing animal, but Ace first time around declines Ashram Monk aka The Grand Abbot [Arsenio 'Sonny' Trinidad] interjects and discusses things with Ace; but Ace is yet to attain omnipresent supergalactic oneness. So thinking on his feet The Grand Abbot has a very ceremony to say there is basically, a few moments later Ace asks "What about my medallion of spiritual accomplishment?" Which again The Grand Abbot thinks on his feet [he has seen this as an opportunity to get Ace out of the monastery, but Ace doesn't pick up on this in the slightest even though it is transparently obvious that is what is happening here, even with the monastery having this celebratory party on his departure going through this crowd on his way out] and gives him his with Ace pointing out "This took 80 years to achieve" so in a nutshell with this supreme sacrifice Ace takes this case.

The pacing for this 90 minutes film is quick and easy to settle down with, I don't mean any disrespect with the following, but because the storyline is essentially the same as its predecessor Ace Venture Pet Detective 1994 if you want to know my opinions on it Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2019/02/ace-ventura-pet-detective-1994-by.html. When I say essentially the same I mean from the perspective of a storyline that works with let's not beat around the bush here Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura Pet Detective puts in a legendary and synonymous performance as he makes his character and these entire films work with enthusiasm and a free-flowing nature that is bouncing off the wall, but in both of these films he can also be seen to be serious when it is time to be.

Yes we have some new comedy material like for some examples; having one thing to do before he leaves the ashram monastery, which I am sure many people have thought about doing this or taking this husband's wife offer about enjoying the finer fruits [as she is wearing animal fur] so Ace punches her husband and wears him over his shoulders/neck and does this catwalk at this soirée of  Vincent Cadby and we also get some references to the board game "Monopoly" because this husband looks like the Monopoly Guy a.k.a. Maguire; the Skinny Husband [Michael Reid McKay] if you were wondering the real name of the Monopoly Guy is Rich Uncle Pennybags/Mr. Moneybags/Mr. Monopoly.

We have recycled comedy material from the first film title such as a reference/impersonation of James T Kirk from the original Star Trek performed by Ace [Jim Carrey] or a modified piece of comedy material from the first film to fit in with this sequel, where Ace in the first film in short survived/combat with a shark in this second film he survives/combat with either an alligator or a crocodile which on an observation it looks like alligator or crocodile is easier to handle as it tries to get away but Ace pulls it back into the water to continue the fight, which in comparison is just about right dealing with a shark would be slightly worse than dealing with an alligator or a crocodile.

But there is one fight which Ace very much comes in second place to, it is when he has no other choice but to take on Wachootoo Warrior/Wachootoo Prince [Tommy Davidson] which may not be the most tallest, but as Prince Ouda [of the  Wachati] points out to Ace early on in this fight; that he is a much better fighter than you which Ace replies Doy [this is to mean; thanks for pointing out something that is really obvious as Ace gets dragged back in by Wachootoo Warrior/Wachootoo Prince him hooking his head inside the top of Ace's mouth quickly after he says what he says.

Art; the scenery, landscapes, costumes and live animals are all good, the character developments and the performances are likewise all good, they are what they are meant to be, as I have already referenced this is Jim Carrey at his comical best.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it is a right laugh. This film has also Won or Nominee for awards 7 Won and 6 Nominees ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards 1996; ASCAP Award Top Box Office Films Robert Folk American Comedy Awards, USA 1996; Funniest Actor in a Motion Picture (Leading Role) Jim Carrey. But this is where I have to be fair and balanced this sequel also has some negative awards accredited to its name such as; Winner The Stinkers Bad Movie Awards 1995; Most Painfully Unfunny Comedy James G. Robinson and Nominee at the same award ceremony/event Worst Actor Jim Carrey and for some strange reason this award is here as well. Kids' Choice Awards, USA 1996; Winner Favorite Movie Actor Jim Carrey For Batman Forever [Edward Nygma/The Riddler,] I am just criticising why this award is under this title not the awarding of it, because it is/was without a shadow of doubt deserved.
