In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Fyter Fest 2019 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Fyter Fest 2019 by AverageMansReviews

Before I begin: I should just point out to dictate this blog when it is appropriate or necessary I am still doing research and to save me bringing this up again in the future, because this company and everything to do with this company minus a handful of names is new, I will be researching or watching other people's material to learn more as I go along.

Kylie Rae vs. Leva Bates: my pick is Leva Bates.

SCU vs. Private Party vs. Best Friends, Winner advances to All Out for a shot at a first round bye in AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament: my pick is Private Party, they should go far in the world of tag team wrestling with All Elite Wrestling [if I could give them some career advice from now until you both hang up your boots, briefly just stay clear of a certain Universe, they use Kryptonite on tag team wrestling.]

Michael Nakazawa vs. Jebailey Hardcore Match: my pick is Jebailey.

Christopher Daniels vs. CIMA: my pick is Christopher Daniels.

Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho vs. Nyla Rose Three Way Match: my pick is Yuka Sakazaki, I have seen all of these women on the pay-per-view on AEW Double or Nothing 2019 and all three of these characters/performers have the potential to win this match in one way or another, they will probably have Nyla Rose win here to show her strength and she is a dominating force that kind of thing, but I am happy with my choice here.

Hangman Page vs. Jimmy Havoc vs.
Jungle Boy vs. MJF Four Way Match: my pick is Hangman Page, I am in two minds here, this choice or Jimmy Havoc. I went for this choice because maybe they want to book Hangman Page to look strong heading into AEW All Out 2019 when he goes head to head to face Chris Jericho for the inaugural AEW World Champion

Cody vs. Darby Allin: my pick is Darby Allin, looking at the bigger picture it would be a wise move for this character/performer to pick up the W. here. Because it would give him some credibility straight out the gates and this is another character/performer that could go far in All Elite Wrestling

Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela Non-Sanctioned Match: my pick is Jon Moxley; Joey Janela is another character/performer that could go far in this company but for here and now what they should do [this is just speculation] in this match is both participants take a beating from one another but Moxley just about picks up the W. by doing this or using this formula it is one of those occasions where taking a loss isn't so bad because it makes the individual/character look strong and against anyone else he is going to be a very tough and a handful for anyone the steps into the ring with him on a quick side note, I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw some form of blood in this match.]

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks vs the AAA World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers & Laredo Kid Six-Man Tag Team Match: my pick is Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks, well simply put I was going to go the other way but after finding out the AAA World Tag Team Championships changed hands [Sunday 16/06/2019,] I am going with the option which are not holding these championships at this moment in time [just to cover my back, when this review is being dictated.]

Last updated: Sunday 30/06/2019 change to match Allie in for Kylie Rae, I have no idea what happened here and there was a stipulation added to Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela, but I wasn't going to bring this up because I made a change to this blog on the day of its uploading, because of the first point in this paragraph I was thinking I may as well put it here as I am here.

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 6 by AverageMansReview

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 6 by AverageMansReview

So this is what is next for the WWE: I may as well begin with this question/comment does anyone else find it slightly amusing that the WWE have put the heads of their previous competition in control of their two main brands Paul Heyman [ECW/now in control of RAW] and Eric Bischoff [WCW/now in control of SmackDown Live.]

The more I think about this; the more I am leaning towards this isn't going to work [but in fairness and balance for the WWE I hope this works,] I mean in theory it should work and I am not backtracking on my previous statement. But on one hand you have three heads that used to rule the world of professional wrestling, so you would think the three of them working in the same company would bring fear into any new competition that stood before them [and just for the record yes I'm aware that Heyman has a long association with this company.]

But on the other hand I'm going to say they use to rule the world of professional wrestling on their own individual turfs. But the key thing is they used to, I want to make this crystal clear I am not saying that they cannot bring anything to the table because individually they can with so much knowledge and so on. But what I am saying is this; like it or not professional wrestling has changed so much over time that having three people of the same or similar mind set is probably going to come up with the same ideas [I need to point out that I am just speculating here so I could be wrong and I want to highlight this once more I hope this works out for the WWE.]

Extreme Rules 2019: well straight off the bat I have already talked about this a little in the previous blog The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 5 so I will leave the link down below. But for here and now based on what is on this card this pay-per-view seems to be in trouble already.

Alexa Bliss vs. the SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley: in short I don't see a change of champion here, so what happened to this no more automatic rematches thing? Oh yes including this very small, very tiny detail these two characters/performers are on separate brands

Samoa Joe vs. the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston: again in short I don't see a change of champion here; I don't know what to say about this match, briefly to begin with yes absolutely this has every right to be a fantastic match. But here are the problems and I know I am not the only one pointing these out, once again we have a situation where these characters/performers are on separate brands [so once again I could be wrong here but I'm guessing that this version of the Brand-Split is pushing up the daisies now,] but there is more Joe can lose the United States Championship and be rewarded with a WWE Championship Match [the more and more time I spend thinking about this; the only possible and positive reason for this; would be Joe is to be the next WWE Champion, but as I have already said I don't see this happening here so this decision makes no sense, I would like to see Joe to hold a top championship at some point.] But I continue why didn't the hierarchy of this company come up with this storyline where Joe is so angry at losing his United States Championship that for a little while [roughly 10 days on RAW and SmackDown Live or anywhere if they wanted to get creative,] Joe attacks The New Day or any member, any number of them, until Kingston asks "Joe what do you want for these attacks to stop?" Joe replies "This is simple I want you in a Ladders Match for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules, which Kingston accepts with one added stipulation "Just you and me one-on-one" which Joe agrees to. Okay this idea may not be something that this company may want to do, but more importantly I have gave a storyline, a match, a stipulation and substance behind this situation so what else do the WWE want, in fact I would have had Joe attack Kingston after his Steel Cage Match at WWE Stomping Ground so Joe could send a strong message to begin with.

Tony Nese vs. the
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak: I have a feeling you know what I am going to say here, well I have two things. The first thing is this; once again what happened to this no more automatic rematches thing and the second thing is this; I don't see a change of champion here either, even though I don't have access to The WWE Network, I am just going to come out and say it; it would be foolish and short-sighted for there to be a change of champion here, because it would somewhat devalued the champion and this championship in this match, but then again I am talking about a company that are masterful experts at short-sightedness so what do I know.

Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans vs. the Universal Champion Seth Rollins & the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch Winners Take All Mixed Tag Team Match: straight off the bat yes I don't see a change of champions here. But just to give you a heads up again I'm just going to tell you as it is, so with that being said anything to do with this match, stipulation or situation it is completely and utterly diarrhea, let's just quickly point out what happened to this no more automatic rematches thing [yes different stipulations] but in essence we have two automatic rematches here.

So precisely what happens if for some reason the hierarchy choose to make new champions here? [Corbin or Lesnar and Evans] it doesn't matter your audience or fan base or apparent Universe are going to be far, far, far, far so far away from happy that you may as well book first class-tickets down to Jacksonville and into the territory of All Elite Wrestling, I am being comical yet very serious here.

There is absolutely nothing to gain here, but everything to lose and just for the record there is no way even if I was given a lot of money to make this match and then to deal with the consequences after it and then leave the company that is just no way I would do it.

Because even though this match hasn't taken place yet I can see it now in my mind and it doesn't look good. I mean why is this company continuously backing itself into a corner where if they don't get it right [basically keeping the fans happy,] everything is just going to crumble underneath them. So I will warn this company right here and right now if these two champions don't come out of this pay-per-view as champions the backlash is going to be so strong that I don't know where this company go from here [I know this company has a lot of money,] so they will keep going for years upon years. But let me put it this way if you want to torpedo your TV ratings and crowd attendance go ahead make new champions here I dare you. Now it seems a good point just to point out that if you are keeping score I don't see any championships [based on this blog at this point] changing hands so what is the point of this pay-per-view?

The Undertaker & Roman Reigns vs. "The Best in the World" Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre Tag Team Match: I mean if there is any justice in the world The Undertaker & Roman Reigns should win here and bring an end to this situation. Now keep in this thing of just telling you how it is; this brings me swiftly on to this match. What a waste of time this is, let's look at the bigger picture for a second you have a legendary character/performer in The Undertaker and two characters/performers in their prime where if they were built correctly in storyline they should have individually a championship around their waist or fighting for the same championship or even for the tag team championships [oh I have just realized I have just said three bad words in this company tag team championships apologies for that] and then we have "The Best in the World" this thing needs to stop now, the hierarchy are taking away good opportunities from younger talent which spent years working their posterior off to get somewhere just to lay down for the bosses' son, before I continue I just want to say that The Undertaker will then, now and forever be a legend and a cornerstone of this company and a highly respected individual in this industry, but he cannot go on forever.

So this company needs to focus on instead of then and now [in the case of The Undertaker,] they need to be focusing on forever as to keep this company going,] they need to be willing and saying to their younger talent "Show me what you have and we will stand by you or them." I am sure that the younger talent are showing them what they have to offer, so my previous statement was specifically aimed at the hierarchy of this company.

All Elite Wrestling: I don't have too much to say about this company, because they are doing everything right, they are making lots and lots of noise in the right way and they just need to continue in what they are doing and before I finish this blog, I am not biased as it relates to this company. But honestly they are a completely different company to the WWE on every single level, so yes at some point in the future, if I find something to criticize I will do so. But at the same time this company cannot do anything wrong based on logic and reasoning this basically means because the WWE standards are so low consequently, they have conditioned their fan base to accept low standards. So if All Elite Wrestling had an off day, it is still supremely higher than anything the WWE could offer, my final thing is this; see what happens when you offer wrestling fans wrestling first without the WWE environment and garbage on top of that.

Gotti 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Gotti 2018 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this project is good

Fundamental elements: there are breaking the fourth wall elements, words and numbers on screen, cultural elements, voice-over elements, slow-motion effects, background music, no subtitles when another language is being used, time jumps and place jumps.

The movement of this project is a bit here and there to begin with, but it settles down after some time.

Storyline: it is based on real-life events.

Action sequences: in short there are weapons being used and combat.

Artistic visions: there is a song being sung at this wedding reception this entire sequence sounds and looks good

Character developments/Performances: the majority of this cast [minus two characters/performers,] do a solid job with the material given to them and their performances. But Travolta as our main character/lead role, when this project settles down gets the opportunity to be the Maestro in this title as this character has a certain aura around him to be respected, as he takes this lifestyle seriously in his prime, but when he is older he has a fire in his belly not to die [I can't tell you too much more than that, because it does get covered in this film.] This is one of those times where I can say this; without Travolta in this project this film would have struggled that is for sure.

Keach also puts in a good performance fulfilling this role and Travolta and Keach have good chemistry as well.

This film receives: 6/10, this title knows what it is doing from beginning to end and it sticks to it, but as I have said in this review it does need some time to settle down.

Lock Up 1989 by AverageMansReviews

Lock Up 1989 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this title is good.

Fundamental elements: there are slow-motion effects, cultural elements, background music, quick moving effects, mental imagery, time jumps and place jumps.

This is one of those titles that uses really prominent background music.

Storyline: generally speaking it is okay, it serves its purpose but without giving too much away the viewers never find out what happened to the second main character/performer.

Action sequences: there are weapons being used, combat, American football, exercise and chasing.

Character developments/Performances: the character developments are something solid, reliable and good. I mean they are what they are for this type of film as in if you have seen prison films before you know what to expect from this film, but in fairness and balance as I have already said they are good.

The same can be said for the performances there is good chemistry or friction between these characters/performers [depending where you are in this title is depending what you get,] they are all good as well.

This film receives: 6/10, this film knows what it is from beginning to end and it sticks to it.

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 5 by AverageMansReview

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 5 by AverageMansReview

Now after some last-minute planning: I decided to watch some RAW roughly [Monday 25/06/2019,] so I could include this in this blog. Now from an overview perspective it was okay mixed in with okay but it could go south any second that kind of feeling and whilst I am on this subject, I valued my sleep more.

Let's get real WWE: really WWE, really you are exploiting another real-life situation for your own gains. This is not surprising, because this is what the WWE do, yes I am referring to Rollins and Lynch's relationship, yes I am a little bit angry about this and the only reason I am not more angry is because as I have already said this is what the WWE do.

So we are having the Main Event of WWE Extreme Rules 2019 [to cover my back I just want to say card subject to change but this is probably the Main Event Match] as Baron Corbin and Lacy Evans vs. the Universal Champion Seth Rollins and the Raw Woman's Champion Becky Lynch with the stipulation of Winners Take All Mixed Tag Team Match. Now for some strange reason I am getting the feeling of déjà vu here in these two ways, didn't we see this already where the women took on the women and the men took on the men for their respective championships [in more than one match each for these championships] and secondly didn't we see a similar stipulation of this nature being used at the Main Event of WrestleMania 35, I must stress in this situation there was a detail put in place where if Evans and Corbin loses they cannot ever challenge for their respective Raw brand championships again [I'm guessing this only applies as long as Rollins and Lynch are champions this time around? I should just point out this is only speculation mixed in with common sense, but I could be completely wrong about this.

So I have one massive and when I say massive I mean the size of Galactus rhetorical question "How is this going to sell tickets seriously?" It isn't, because there is no way, absolutely no way or once again just to cover my back there should be no way that the hierarchy can be considering making new champions here, so by using this stipulation or stipulations in this match they have already told us the result, so why pay for something that we already know the result to.

I mean if the hierarchy were that adamant/desperate to have this match I would have kept the second stipulation and modified the first stipulation to something like this: if a champion gets pinned they lose their championship. You see on using my way they could have disguised or made an effort to disguise the result better, so in theory it could have been possible for one champion to lose their championship. Yes I still think the result would be the same but I'm not talking about the result, I am talking about disguising the result so people may want to watch their product or having taken two seconds to think about it; if they really, really want it to be creative they could keep the second stipulation, but put these two championships in a ladder match where the first one to bring down a championship providing it ends up in their respective genders hands they win that championship and the other championship gets automatically returned to its holder, so it could create some friction between these two teams or something like that or if they wanted to think outside the box in the match they could have Lynch going for the Universal Championship, in a scramble to pass it off to Rollins to end the match, just because they are a tag team and consequently by her actions she saves/defends her championship as well.

UK TV: now this is what I really wanted to talk about, in short the WWE and Sky Sports have decided to go their separate ways with BT Sports/BT Box Office picking up the rights to show RAW, SmackDown Live and their pay-per-views.

This is a great move for Sky Sports and BT Sports for very different reasons, now as far as I'm concerned the WWE are a sinking ship and the way they do business on any level is something I have grown to dislike. I'm just speculating here but on one hand from Sky Sports perspective maybe it was a good time to cut ties with the WWE and on the other hand this is good for BT Sports/BT Box Office to improve their numbers.

I know nothing about business [I dropped it when I was in college many years ago,] but I am not sure how this new partnership is meant to be beneficial for the WWE, yes obviously this deal is an outlet for them but in the bigger picture it is like they are giving up the UK market with their actions basically saying "We are done with this part of the world let's explore new options."

Now if it should happen you think I am being too harsh or anything to this effect; All Elite Wrestling being business partners with ITV4 [ITV Box Office or Fite TV in collaboration with ITV Box,] as you can see I have done some research but as of this blog and here and now with doing a little bit of research I can't tell where their pay-per-views are going to be based from a viewing perspective. Maybe when their TV programming begins later this year things will become clearer [on a quick side note I would massively prefer them to be on ITV Box Office, because I can watch them in bed, I have no problem with paying for them it is just if they are online it makes it impossible for me to view them, because of my physical situation.

But the potential for All Elite Wrestling to take over the WWE's UK market/fan base is from a WWE perspective is a frightening inevitability or if they haven't thought about this yet it should really be dawning on them about now.

I'm not against the WWE, because the more places that characters/performers have to perform is good for business. But having said that I am happy to see them go from my TV, I can catch up on anything I want from this company from online sources so I don't have to watch their main two brands and I would happily by many billions upon billions upon billions upon billions of miles without question pay more to see All Elite Wrestling's pay-per-views on ITV Box Office over the WWE Network [to be fair minus anything to do with NXT or if they show WWE Studio projects.]

Lockout 2012 by AverageMansReviews

Lockout 2012 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this title is good.

Fundamental elements: there are words and numbers on screen, voice-over elements, quick moving effects, mental imagery slow-motion effects, time jumps and place jumps.

Storyline: this storyline is good.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: briefly at first there are weapons being used, vehicles, flying/outer space machinery, chasing sequences and outer space sequences. Now to be a little bit more specific here are two things for you to look out for; there is a small elegant element that shows imagination, it is a quick and efficient way to get a gun off a bed and the second is this long jump/fall of sorts which at some point this parachute comes into play this also shows imagination as well.

Continuing with this imagination theme it brings me onto the artistic visions such as these things like this motorbike or this chopper which is massive with heavy firepower at its disposal [by the look of it, I do believe we only get to see a small percentage of its full potential and just for the record I am having an educated guess here that this is a chopper, it has a colossal science-fiction twist to it. So I could always be wrong,] moving on to these space-crafts [used in the outer space action sequences,] they have laser-fire and what we see of them; they seem to be agile.

Character developments/Performances/Comedy level: generally speaking the character developments and the performances of this cast are good, the partnership of our main two characters/performers well there is very good friction and chemistry between them [depending where you are is depending what you get in this title.] The comedy level comes from our lead character/performers in the form of his dialogue or dialogue exchanges, for one example he says "I can't believe I am getting beaten by a guy called Rupert."

This film receives: 7/10, this is one of those films that if you were to get a take away out and sit down and watch this title, you will be entertained whilst you eat your food.

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 by AverageMansReviews

Heavy Machinery vs. the
SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan: my pick is Daniel Bryan & Rowan, simply put at this precise moment I cannot see Daniel Bryan & Rowan losing their Championships.

Big E & Xavier Woods vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn: my pick is Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, the only reason I could give you for this decision is because the hierarchy of this company want to keep this feud/whatever this is going for some strange reason. I don't see why they couldn't give this match some value by adding a stipulation of a No1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Ricochet vs. the United States Champion Samoa Joe: my pick is Samoa Joe, I don't like how this match came to be, it smells of desperation so I have a feeling that the hierarchy have just booked this match to take up another spot on this card, I should just point out this is nothing against these two characters/performers, it is just I have learned how this company thinks or at least an educated guess.

Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak vs. the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese Triple Threat Match: my pick is Drew Gulak as a guess, he looks like championship material

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre: my pick is Drew McIntyre, as I said in another blog [The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 4 which I will leave the link down the bottom,] briefly it would be 50-50 booking and I can see "The Best in the World" Shane McMahon getting involved somehow.

Alexa Bliss vs. the SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley: my pick is Alexa Bliss, basically as time goes on I just can't see Bayley winning here I expect Nikki Cross to accidentally get involved to protect her friend [I discuss this more in The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 4 as well, in fact from here on out if you want to know more about any of these upcoming matches press on the link at the bottom.]

Lacey Evans vs. the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch: my pick is Becky Lynch; I couldn't care less about this match.

Dolph Ziggler vs.
the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston Steel Cage Match: my pick is Kofi Kingston, in short I can't believe we are getting this match again.

Baron Corbin vs. the
Universal Champion Seth Rollins Special Guest Referee: my pick is Seth Rollins; I am just going to say it as it is why have we got this match again?! Because I think it is a stupid decision, there is nothing to gain from this decision or situation besides more overwhelming negativity which if this is what they were going for please continue, it is quite clear even before the Special Guest Referee situation was put in place, this rematch was going to be painful to watch again anyway and because you have situated it in the main event slot you are and were telling us something is going to happen, because you need that headline to finish on, but now including this stipulation you have guaranteed something is going to go down so the New Universal Champion is Brock Lesnar.

I mean if this is the case Mr. McMahon better start building that arc right now, because those oncoming seas for this company are just going to get harder, but at least they will have plenty of seats to go inside that arc just use the empty ones from this pay-per-view there are plenty to go around.

It is getting really difficult to look forward to these  pay-per-views, forget me paying for them, I am just strictly talking about looking forward to them in general, for a very brief example but a very valid one I am really, really disappointed I will be missing AEW Fyter Fest 2019 [yes I will be doing a prediction thing on that as well,] but my point here is this I should be having the same feelings for this company and no it has nothing to do with the fact that one is the new kid on the block.] It has much more to do with the fact that I feel I belong there and valued and wrestling comes first.

Morgan 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Morgan 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this title is good.

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, slow-motion effects, mental imagery, cultural elements, background music, yes to subtitles being used when another language is being used, time jumps and place jumps.

Storyline: it is okay, I mean it knows what it is and it gets on with it, let's just say this; in short this is one of those endings where it is designed for a sequel, but based on a very quick research there doesn't seem to be one [to cover my own back I'm just going to say when this review was dictated.]

Action sequences: there are weapons being used, combat sequences, exercise and chasing.

Character developments/Performances: generally speaking on both counts they are good. But now to be a little bit more specific these character developments of the lead character shows [without giving too much away,] the potential outcome of a sentient being which is not regarded as a sentient being to begin with, but has had some but not much of a nurturing environment/engagement.

This film receives: 6/10, this mark is fair based on my viewing experience.

Primal Fear 1996 by AverageMansReviews

Primal Fear 1996 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this title is excellent

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, cultural elements, slow-motion effects, background music, no subtitles being used when another language is being used, place jumps and time jumps.

Storyline: it is good and it knows what it is from beginning to end

Action sequences: there are weapons being used, helicopters being used, combat and chasing sequences.

Character developments/Performances: generally speaking the character developments and the performances of this cast are good. Now on to Gere and Norton their character developments/performances firstly the character developments are ones of in one way or another dominator and submissive [I should just point out in a non-sexual way, I have just used these words because it is a great way to talk about their character developments and chemistry without giving too much away] and yes I would say when it is time for Gere's character to be submissive it qualifies just based on what he is up against the power of dominator vs. submissive has changed between these two characters/performers even though his character is still on the same level.

Now on to the performances; Gere's is self-assured and arrogant, but more importantly plays the main stable role between these two performers, there is two other recurring characters/performers that will experience some of what Gere experiences as well [McDormand and Linney.] Now onto Norton because the previous three performers are stable it gives Norton license to go through these metamorphosis which on one hand looked to be slightly uncomfortable yet on the other hand seemed to be a natural switch from one to the other [that is as much as I can tell you; you will understand when you come to watch this title,] but in short Norton's performance is of a high caliber [for an example Golden Globe Winner Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture Edward Norton, there are other Winners and Nominations to go with this project as well, yes I researched this.]

This film receives: 8/10, now I watched this title with another person and we came up with the same mark.

The Score 2001 by AverageMansReviews

The Score 2001 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this title is poor

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, cultural elements, slow-motion effects, no subtitles when another language is being used, background music, time jumps and place jumps.

The movement of this project is so slow, it makes this film really hard work to watch.

Storyline: it is so dull, yes there may be a little bit at the beginning and roughly in the section quarter things happen, but for a large amount of it as I have already said it is so dull and on top of that it leaves things on a question mark of "What happened next?"

Action sequences: briefly at first there are weapons being used, combat and chasing. Now at the beginning section of this title we have one of our lead role's looking down through this instrument attempting to unlock this safe and much later on we have the same lead role in a nutshell stealing this object I would say this section of this project is good to be fair and balanced, but at the same time I need to point out that my interest in this title at this point it had left the building.

Artistic visions: there are music/singing elements in this project they are good of what we hear of them

Character developments: generally speaking they are the standard for this kind of film. The performances are from an overview perspective difficult to call, because minus one character/performer, they range from poor to mixed but there is friction or chemistry between these characters/performers at the same time at some points as well.

The one character/performer that offers a higher standard would be Edward Norton as these different characters he seems to be able to switch comfortably, quickly and completely into these different characters, as one character he does create friction, he does have a moment or seems of chemistry I would say this character is not here to make friends, but as his other character he needs more assistance and guidance and he does switch into another character for one scene [I am having an educated guess here, because there were no subtitles and I don't speak this language, but I think he was asking for directions or something like this.]

Maybe if this film was quicker in any way shape or form it wouldn't have left most of these performances exposed, [this is just speculation] I have to say maybe simply based on the fact we don't know how this film would have turned out if it was quicker but then again I am just working on what is in front of me at this time, so in theory maybe if this film was quicker it would have gave me a lot less time to pick up things or get bored.

This film receives: 2/10, no way should this film have been roughly speaking 124 minutes long, straight off the bat they could have easily taken off somewhere between 24 minutes to 34 minutes just to give this project a sense of get up and go. Because as this film is [or you may have got the hint,] that this film has no life to it [minus a little bit at the beginning and until roughly the final section.] I mean I could justify a slightly higher mark, but it is never a good sign where I had got to the point where I just wanted this film to end so I went for this mark.

Review Time: this sequel is mixed

Fundamental elements: there are words and numbers on screen, cultural elements, voice-over elements, mental imagery, no subtitles when another language is being used, slow-motion effects, interpreter elements, time jumps and place jumps.

The movement and everything connected to this is all over the place for roughly the first 65 minutes, basically when a character/performer makes a physical appearance with a voice performer as well this sequel stabilizes between it works to moving with some gusto and this does include when he's not in the film [I will discuss this more later on in this review.]

Storyline: now when I began this review it has only been maybe six hours roughly since I have seen this sequel and I can't remember too much about this film and I am not going to make any excuses here. But let's keep in mind what I have said about this project already in this review.

But now I have said that it doesn't help that Optimus Prime gets his own storyline section which without giving too much away takes him away from the film on Earth and I'm just going to say it as it is; I know nothing about Quintessa, I was hoping we were going to meet the Quintessons which if this is the case [I am speculating here mixed in with seeing this film they are moving on to a bigger character in the next sequel,] which if this is what they are doing not only haven't we seen or felt the presence of the Quintessons but the Quintessons are so much fun in an tremendously evil way, I cannot oversell this; if these characters were given to films roughly 100 minutes each as a Part 1 and Part 2 there is so much they could do with them and not forgetting the Sharkticon as well.

It should be noted; I had to go and make sure that this planet was real in this Universe [the planet of Quintessa or New Quintessa from time to time,] this would be where the Quintessons live [I was getting a little bit confused,] between this character and the planet I have done a drop of research and I still have no idea who this character is.

But moving on as I was saying; not only have we not met these characters they are also screwing up the back story of this legendary fear bringing character for the next title as well which based on my knowledge of this generation would be virtually impossible to do or you would think so.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: well because of the slow-motion effects being used at some point in some of the sequences, the action sequences are a mixed bag it's like when Bumblebee partially uses both of his modes to drive and use his weapon with these characters/performers onboard in a chasing sequence, this small section of this chasing sequence would be good if they didn't use these slow-motion effects [there are only a limited occasions, where I can justify these slow-motion effects] and it is when Hot Rod uses his weapon/gun these would show imagination and of course there are plenty of weapons being used, Polo [sport,] combat, Fighter Jets and things of this nature as well. But generally speaking the action sequences are much, much better when the slow-motion effects are not used, because when they are used minus the Hot Rod weapon/gun they destroyed any natural flow to the scene or sequence or the film.

Moving on to the artistic visions, well to start with Dragonstorm he is big, scary looking, but also beautiful, [you won't be able to miss him] and we have this consistent character playing this Pipe Organ or singing opera music.

Character developments/Comedy level: the character developments range from terrible to something safe and reliable. What have they done to Hot Rod, he doesn't even look like Hot Rod, he doesn't have the stage presence of Hot Rod and he has never, never, never, ever, never ever spoken French with a French accent or English with a French accent; Moving on to Grimlock, so we are not getting  him speaking in this title either or any of the Dinobots. Well you may as well not have them in these projects, because by them expressing themselves with voices is a massive part of who they are either individually or in a group collective [it has been a while since I have seen the previous film title, so to cover my back I can't remember them speaking but I could be wrong.]

You know when you finish a document or blog or whatever you are working on and realize something. Well something dawned on me after originally uploading this; to the point where it was bugging me because I could remember it and I was pretty sure we have seen this character in the previous film title [Transformers: Age of Extinction 2014] which after doing some more research/jogging my memory which we had in one way but not, they had given Galvatron a transformed similar, vehicle mode which [minus the trailer and not the same colour system,] but the important thing it should belong to another character in this title [Transformers: The Last Knight 2017] with a trailer On realizing this no wonder I couldn't recognize this character, because this character may look identical but is a completely different colour system and character to his legendary identical, in fact now I know who it is; this was a completely boring and lazy way to bring this character into this franchise and the way he leaves is just as lazy, they made a complete mess of this character "I was really like I don't know anything about this character."Yes even though they used this character's name in this title at some points [update at the bottom of this review.]

The human character developments are also something safe and reliable, there is this culture clash between two different standards of living/love interest thing going on.

The comedy level is based in the dialogue/dialogue exchanges, but there is visual/listening comedy elements as well, the comedy builds the chemistry/friction between some of these characters/performers.

Voice performances/Performances: now these voice performances and performances are good, there is friction/chemistry between these characters, it does depend on what you're watching at that specific time, is depending what you get. Now without giving too much away this sequel does feel more enthusiastic during Hopkins's physical involvement in this project, he does stabilize this sequel with being charismatic and the inclusion of Cogman voiced by Jim Carter. Briefly it goes from it works to being of a positive nature or somewhere between these two points even after Hopkins fulfils his storyline. Cogman in his own right is a fully rounded enjoyable character and he does a lot for this project as well, it just seems like after these two characters individually or together are in this sequel is more consistent as I have just said it goes from it works to being something of a positive nature or something between these two points [how to put this nicely; it is nothing like the first 65 minutes.]

This film receives: 5/10, now taking everything into consideration this mark is about fair, don't get me wrong this project does have problems; please, please, please, stop using those slow-motion effects in the action sequences they haven't been fun to watch in this franchise [minus some elements which I have referenced in this blog] so please just stop using them, nurture the characters better in any way shape or form [instead of either messing up these well-known characters or giving us these cliché character developments/human personality traits and everything that comes with that, please freshen these up] and whilst I'm on the subject based on here and now, it would be nice to see a live-action Transformers film title that ran less than or on the nose of two hours long and no more [which on a quick side note I haven't seen this film yet but just out of interest and based on some more research Bumblebee is less than two hours long,] but back to this project I have highlighted some things that this sequel has got going for it, so this mark is a fair conclusion.

Updated: Monday 24/06/2019: now after watching this episode The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 2, Part 2, Volume 5, Disc 2] Episode 56: The Key to Vector Sigma: Part 1, I have come to realize that I didn't know anything about this identical character in this film, because yes I still stand by what I said about them being lazy on how he came to be in this title and taken out because this identical character does not have the same color system to what he should be, but after watching this episode the character I was getting confused with was the leader of the Stunticons [Motormaster,] because in fairness to myself in his transformed mode he looks very similar to identical to Optimus Prime and his identical as well.

So I apologize for this mistake, but it would have really helped if this live-action franchise use the source material to a higher standard or any standard would have been nice for two quick examples; this live-action franchise should not have gone from Megatron to Galvatron and then back to Megatron again and on top of that give Galvatron this transformed vehicle mode in [Transformers: Age of Extinction 2014] I have no idea where this came from now it should have been a beautifully powerful/posterior kicking ‎Laser Cannon.

Let's just say I have colossal problems with this live-action franchise and as of this review I am hoping Bumblebee 2018 in short is something better.
