Average Extra of: Netflix Indicted By Texas For Cuties 2020 by AverageMansReviews

Average Extra of: Netflix Indicted By Texas For Cuties 2020 by AverageMansReviews

Real Talking Time:

Warning: this blog will contain criminal charges and an unpleasant thought; I have said this just to make an excellent point [you will understand when you get to that point in this blog.]

Well I wasn't planning to do this yesterday; but this topic quickly caught fire and came out of nowhere so here I am.

I mean anyone with a level head could have seen this coming down the pipeline at some point and to be honest I am absolutely delighted, but I sarcastically find it very amusing that Netflix are still defending this project because it has won an Award Sundance Film Festival 2020 - World Cinema - Dramatic Maïmouna Doucouré and they are really holding onto the narrative that it is a social commentary on today's world which unfortunately is the case in a large amount of situations, but from a street-smart individual as myself this defence is incredibly weak.

Do you know how stupid this defence is and sounds? Because we know it happens and you don't need to tell us average people that it is wrong, because guess what we know it is wrong hence why we don't actively take part in it, so stop encouraging people to see it that are concerned about these topics because you are actively or encouraging people to see the exploitation of children, the more I think about it the more I think this is just stupid on top of stupid, so you're going to make this film, about the exploitation of children and social commentary for people that are legal in concerned about these topics, that if they are concerned about these topics, they are not going to watch this film, based on the fact it is something they are 99.9% strongly against so in clarification [you have made a film your target audience isn't going to watch because they are against the topics you are highlighting in this film so whomever gave this project the green light in the first place has just successfully wasted Netflix's money and here is an unpleasant thought given those that actively seek this kind of material easy access to it on their platform so well done there Netflix.

I mean I have brain-damage, but usually a project of any description is made with a target audience in mind and as I have just highlighted the target audience for this film isn't going to watch it, okay some film critics of all backgrounds like myself may watch this film, there is a purpose to why we are watching it.

So yes I have seen this film and briefly it is unbelievably wrong, if I was in control of this project I would have used a lot of simulation shots [this basically means nothing inappropriate is seen on screen but there is enough to get the message over to the viewers and protect the performers in question, I mean I still wouldn't feel overly comfortable dealing with this project, but if it had to be done I would get on with it and make sure everything is clean and everyone is protected.

By the way it is incredibly dangerous for Netflix to have this mind-set or thinking process of "As long as it brings awareness, attention and an award we will give it the green light." I mean now they have no moral standing anything is possible, but these are the charges that Netflix are facing from Tyler County Texas USA;

The indictment states that Netflix has been charged with “promoting material in Cuties film which depicts lewd exhibition of pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 yrs of age which appeals to the prurient interest in sex.”

Even from an unbiased perspective or my own perspective, I can't see this ending well for Netflix. Because they are the ones that have provided their own evidence for their own downfall [meaning if they didn't give this film the green light, it wouldn't now be biting them in the posterior.] I know this is a far, far than comical situation but this entire paragraph is comical.

But we will have to wait and see what happens next; hopefully Netflix gets used to make an example of, because I am not a vengeful person but regardless of what society we are in; be it the past, present or future the way this film has been shot and so on has no place in our society, but now to make sure I am being fair and balanced as of this blog is soaring up over 5.64%.]

Playdate with Destiny 2020 by AverageMansReviews

Playdate with Destiny 2020 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Storyline/Art/Comedy/Action/Characters/Performances: it takes all of these components including the pacing and on-screen chemistry going hand-in-hand storyline it is excellent; it has been written and filmed in the genre of a bite-size Rom-com [Romantic Comedy] and the reason why I have said bite-size is because it only goes on for roughly 5 minutes, so this short project doesn't have time to waste so it smoothly and efficiently rotates with a good pacing from beginning to end.

Now as this short project is from The Simpsons franchise; yes the art is as always clean, engaging and of their very high standards [basically everything you come to expect from this franchise really,] in short because I don't want to give too much away Maggie quickly nicks Nelson Munns skateboard with Nelson landing with a bump and on his front [but don't worry he had the appropriate safety equipment on] with Maggie getting on this skateboard and going down and high up/off this skateboard ramp to get this other babies’ [Hudson's] attention.

Moving on to the characters/performances; the character developments are very easy to pick up on, because using a mixture of background music, body language, facial expressions, on-screen chemistry, mental imagery and sound effects including this educational toy that says "Y,Y,Y,Y," whilst Maggie presses the Y button to speak for her, it smartly tells the viewers what is happening between Maggie and Hudson.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; now usually I would use a phrase like "This is good" or something like this individually but as this project is a short project and everything about this title is going hand-in-hand I was thinking I would save it up to put here instead; basically this project is really easy to settle down with; it much to offer its viewing audiences.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 1,] Episode 3: A Most Excellent Roman Holiday by AverageMansReviews

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 1,] Episode 3: A Most Excellent Roman Holiday by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects

Storyline/Telephone Booth tracker: the storyline it is okay and where we have been in this episode is as follows; San Dimas, California, USA The Present to Latin, American, Circa - 1450 to Rome Coliseum, Italy - 44 BC to San Dimas, California, USA The Present

Unnecessary Roughness 10 yard penalty: this is a rule in the NFL and in a basic description; Bill & Ted are in The Coliseum to get them out of a tough situation Rufus blows this whistle and this yellow flag gets thrown [Rufus rushes into this scene dressed as a ref with his shades on] he makes this call and begins backing up this angry Lion whilst still backing up this Lion he tells them "To bail already." Eventually this Lion chases Rufus in The Coliseum; this is good action and good comedy here.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; there isn't anything majorly wrong with it; it is just not as good as the previous episodes.

Motherless Brooklyn 2019 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/medical procedure/Tourette Syndrome - to cover my back, I am 99.9% sure this is what it is, but I could be wrong.

Storyline: it is good; but here are two problems that go hand-in-hand the time length is way too long [144 minutes] and the pacing is far from quick so it makes this film feel longer.

Art/Action: the art is clear to see and to experience like this Bridge, after some research I believe it to be the Queensboro Bridge, by day or by night with its lights on or in a rough description our lead character/performer Essrog/Norton is drowning and then the scene smoothly move from that [the viewers still think they are watching what they were watching] to Moses Randolph/Baldwin swimming in this swimming pool where the elite of society meet up to relax, to talk business including possibly do some shady dealings and finally we have this blues band playing; this is all good art, I would say the art is the biggest positive to this project from beginning to end in its entirety; it transports its viewers from our world into theirs [the 1950's] from the outset until the closing credits in short it has lots to offer in one way or another. Moving on to the action there are weapons being used, combat and chasing.

Characters/Performers: including the on-screen chemistry this is all good from everyone involved, but Essrog/Norton has to be given a special mention for making Tourette Syndrome looking and feeling fluently natural.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; the only problems with this project are as I said earlier from the very beginning; the time length of 144 minutes and the pacing.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 1,] Episode 2: The Birth of Rock 'N Roll or Too Hip for the Womb by AverageMansReviews

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 1,] Episode 2: The Birth of Rock 'N Roll or Too Hip for the Womb by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects

Storyline/Telephone Booth tracker: the storyline is good and now on to the Telephone Booth tracker; San Dimas, California, USA The Present to Salzburg, Austria-1760 to Macon, Georgia, USA -1955 to Unknown Switzerland - 1300 to Macon, Georgia, USA -1955 to San Dimas, California, USA The Present to Salzburg, Austria-1760 to Macon, Georgia, USA -1955 to San Dimas, California, USA The Present [I need to just point out that the ending destination is speculation on my part, because this episode doesn't end in the present; it ends in The Circuits of History heading to Macon, Georgia, USA -1955, but it is common sense/an educated guess that Bill & Ted would end up in their own time period again at San Dimas, California, USA The Present.]

Little Richard: yes Little Richard [the rock 'n roll legendary musician] is the voice of Little Richard character in this episode.

And it's good!: I will describe one occasion and leave the other occasion, when these skills will come in very handy. We have Bill & Ted are playing this NFL Field-Goal attempt in the back of this Music Appreciation lesson; descriptions using two sets of hands and a bit of paper. Ted has to flick this little paper shaped like a triangle with his finger and thumb between the up-rights made by Bill's hands/fingers. I would get as much practice as you can in Ted the next time they'll be something on the line; this is good action.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; it is easy watching.

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 29 by AverageMansReview

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 29 by AverageMansReview

Just a heads up: I'm going to be a little bit more blunt than I usually am, yes as always no adult language.

WWE: well straight off the bat I can't wait until the day that Mr. McMahon is pushing up daisies. Before I hear or have anyone saying anything to the effect of "That is just wrong."To that I say politely "Please, please go and educate yourself about this donkey diarrhea pile known as Mr. McMahon."

I don't care what good this individual may or may not have done, the negatives massively way out the positives and the only way the WWE can move on in its entirety is if he steps down which you can ask any long-term wrestling individual the only way you would get him out of the Captain's Chair is if he was to die in it first.

Look in this Volume I will be focusing on something which has continuously annoyed me for countless years I hate this phrase within the WWE Universe "Independent Contractors." Because it isn't what it is a quick summary and in code language which isn't so subtle in fact everyone knows, it means the WWE have 99% of the control, frankly if Mr. McMahon wants to take his trousers down including underwear and take a massive dump on any contract he wants to he can do that or to be more precise he can interpret these contracts any way he sees fit to include or not things he doesn't want to.

So I'm going to be honest and say I don't rightly know where the characters/performers stand at this moment in time, because as I have just said it depends how this individual would like to interpret these contracts; so as it relates to their wrestling talent or on-screen personalities or others doing anything on a third-party outlet [Cameo and Twitch] yes the WWE has control over their wrestling personas that were created under this company and only using their real names if that is their wrestling persona within this company including everything as long as it is related to this company is forbidden without the green light from the hierarchy everyone with me so far?

Now this is where things begin to go unbelievably wrong in my opinion, so this company believes that they own these performers real-life names, now as I previously pointed out only if that is the character's name under the umbrella of this company should this apply, so if any WWE on-screen [individual of any position/role] choose to begin using a third-party outlet [Cameo and Twitch,] providing they don't mention anything about the WWE, that is their right to do so as Independent Contractors.

But no Mr. McMahon wants them to cease activity which doesn't have the green light from the hierarchy of this company first [of this Date: Friday 02/10/2020] and for those that don't will either get fined, suspended or terminated with WWE taking control of their Cameo and Twitch accounts in four weeks time and giving them a percentage which counts against their downsides guarantee [which basically means the money that talent can earn which the WWE would have to pay them anyway and once this figure is reached the WWE don't have to pay them anymore money.]

So as things stand that talent is changing their accounts to their real names just in case. But the thing is these so-called "Independent Contractors" still need to make money especially throughout this global situation, but there is one or two people that Mr. McMahon maybe fearing Joe Biden potentially the next United States President and former Presidential Candidate and Democrat Andrew Yang; Yang has been vocal about the WWE and this entire Independent Contractors, but not Independent Contractors situation. I am not going to be political, but it would be absolutely fantastic to see this company taken down a peg or ten, I should just dictate a disclaimer I am not trying to influence anybody's opinion, I am just saying it would be fantastic for any of these on-screen characters/performers to get better working conditions and rights, I really don't see why the WWE hierarchy cannot allow their wrestling performers and I stress the wrestling performers not characters or any other on-screen character to have their online third-party outlet, seriously let them have that space and money it is probably peanuts considering what this global company are bringing in [obviously I don't mean any disrespect to any online individual from this company, I was speaking factually so nothing personal.] I mean if Mr. McMahon was smart and in touch with today's world and if I was him I would be saying

"Sure, let them have it but don't use our characters, don't bring up any insider information like you don't like somebody, yes you can do a promo or shoot as your real life person and we can work it into your angle/feud on-screen, but you need our green light first, yes you can talk about wrestling and one final thing; every time there is a pay-per-view anywhere in our Universe you have to advertise it once at the start and once at the conclusion or if you forget we can give you a poster and you have to put it up on the wall or somewhere throughout your live-stream." Which I'm sure everyone would agree to this; I mean this is how you make your Independent Contractors feel happy, respected and apart of your company Mr. McMahon; instead of just mules which when they cannot give any more you just throw them out and get a new one, but then again your whole empire has been founded and built on this mentality in the first place.

If you don't think this is crazy this company are more than likely going to use different venues to film their wrestling content soon; yes in this global situation they are going to put their employees and independent contractors at risk of contracting it, it's not like you have had your third outbreak of this global situation at your Performance Center Oh wait you have two weeks ago. My very last point is this; with the level of control that Mr. McMahon wants you may as well make everyone employees, but he won't do that because that would cost him too much money in Health Insurance and it would give these wrestlers rights.

All Elite Wrestling: now as it relates to AEW I don't have much to say here as it relates to these topics; meaning they are more than happy to have their characters/performers do their own things and as it relates to this global situation yes I am aware they have had cases of this global situation. But here is a massive difference and why I am being relatively easy on them unlike the WWE AEW have been on top of this global situation from the very beginning, so they have done their best to protect everyone minus Chris Jericho be it from AEW's perspective or Chris Jericho's [his band Fozzy performing at Sturgis Bike Rally 2020 when there have been a massive number of confirmed cases of this global situation from this event] and just to cover my back before I finish I know as far as I'm aware so I could be wrong at this current point yes it is only the wrestlers that have another role in AEW that have Health Insurance from this promotion.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 1,] Episode 1: Sweet and Sour Chinese Adventure to Go by AverageMansReviews

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 1,] Episode 1: Sweet and Sour Chinese Adventure to Go by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: the rule about these reviews/blogs are as follows; no more than 3 to 5 things about one episode.

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects him

Storyline/Telephone Booth tracker: the storyline is good and moving on to the Telephone Booth tracker; this point like the warning this will be an ever present throughout this TV program where I will be keeping a rough and simple track of Bill & Ted's Telephone Booth; so in this episode it is San Dimas, California, USA The Present to Peaking, China-1295 A.D. to the middle of the China Sea to Venice, Italy-1295 to San Dimas, California, USA The Present. [On a quick side note the reason why I have said rough is because just in case I miss something or screw something up and or I may add little bits or say unknown when it is appropriate to do so meaning when it doesn't say; on top of that the reason why I have said just to instead of back to; is because knowing me, I am not good on dates I will probably get confused or once again screw it up at some point between to and back to, I was thinking I would just avoid that and just say to.

Keanu Reeves: is the voice of Ted “Theodor” Logan, but only for the First Season as well as the live-action version of this character for this film trilogy

Party On: Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted Logan have been given this punishment by Marco Polo in to paint his Ship and let's just say they do a loud job, meaning it is very eye-catching hence the word "loud" and you will see the words Party On over this Ship's sails in big green lettering with a black outline; this is good art.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good: I mean this animated TV series knows what it is and from this very first episode it pulls out the things that its fan base from the film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure 1989 would expect it to come out with.
