Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/transformation/drowning/squatting/terrorism/torture/disfigurement/medical

007 is imprisoned and tortured for information: briefly; James Bond 007/other character [Pierce Brosnan:] after a long time he is traded back to the UK in a trade deal with North Korea, he is now disavowed 00 Agent, which means he can now go and track down the traded individual and terminate their life, on this personal mission, he meets Jinks/other name [Halley Berry:] to begin with it is unknown what she knows, but she is going to be a very interesting person to work with

Generally speaking: art; it has to be said the opening sequence coinciding with the soundtrack with this James Bond sung by Madonna entitled "Die Another Day" is god awful and I mean the whole lot of it; it just screams out tacky and a hot steaming pile of garbage [Madonna has a role in this project as well as Verity: as a simply put a fencing instructor.] The storyline/script is; well it is difficult to say really, because the storyline/script as a isolated aspect may be something safe and reliable and consequently goodand in conjunction with possibly excellent character developments as we get to see Bond go outside of his usual character boundaries as they 007 Agent in theory; because in reality; it is a completely different story; from the aspect of the framework and pacing of this 133 minutes film, the character developments and by and large performances; don't actually help to bring this storyline/script to live in the slightest; but then again I have to see things as they are; not as I want them to be or in this case what they could have been and with that being said; yet again that entire lot of those aspects I have just mentioned; makes this film in a nutshell such a chore to get through.

Action and art; on both counts the biggest asset to this project by some distance is any kind of action sequence with a machine or a vehicle involved they could be anything from any thing coming out of the air or a chasing sequence in two vehicles in these icy surroundings and anything else in the middle or literally anything else; they look good.

Character developments, performances and comedy; the character developments are; well on both counts because in one way or another be it the character developments; being really straightforward, even with this big reveal type of angle when it comes around I am just so switched off by this point that I couldn't care less, then vast majority of these performances range from poor to going through the motions and the best following their character model/outlay, basically there are only three good character developments and performances and all of these characters work for MI6 in the form of M [Judi Dench:] she is the head of MI6, Q [John Cleese:] he is quartermaster and armourer, basically modern language that tech guy for MI6 and finally we have Miss Moneypenny [Samantha Bond:] she is M's secretary, she really likes Bond and for a good bit of comedy towards the end of the film she tries Q's tech, but for the rest of the film and indeed for the rest of the cast the chemistry may as well be announced dead on arrival, everyone else seems to be going through the motions but there is actual nothing there and for a film that goes on for as I have already indicated 133 minutes this can be quite painful watching.

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; to be brutally honest I have always found not only this film to be insufferably boring, but Brosnan as James Bond as on current listing of authentic Bond's to be the worst in history; but having said that if my memory is correct, I think I only like one of his titles as 007: GoldenEye 1995 as on a little bit of research it has a very strong cast built around him; such as Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp: she is a masochistic henchwoman that tries to kill Bond that never gets to finish her orgasm and yes she is a pilot to. But back to this film; it does have some awards accredited to its name; 6 Winners: Positives: which include but not limited to Image Awards (NAACP) 2003 mage Award Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture Halle Berry and 36 Nominees which also include but not limited to Golden Globes, USA 2003 Golden Globe Best Original Song - Motion Picture Madonna (music/lyrics) Mirwais Ahmadzaï (music) Song: "Die Another Day" and Negatives: which also include but not limited to Razzie Awards 2003 Winners Razzie Award Worst Supporting Actress Madonna and Nominee which also includes but not limited to The Stinkers Bad Movie Awards 2002 Stinker Award Worst Song or Song Performance in a Film or its End Credits Madonna
