In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Redemption 2026 by AverageMansReviews

Andrade El Ídolo vs. Champion the Don Callis Family's: Mark Davis; Singles for the AEW National Championship: I just have a feeling they might pull the trigger and do a championship drop here and get people in attendance bouncing.

"The Painmaker" Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa; No Holds Barred Match: if it was just Jericho I would give the W to Ciampa, but as it is "The Painmaker" you have to go with him.

The ROH World Champion Bandido vs. Champ the Don Callis Family's; Kyle Fletcher Singles Match for the AEW International Championship; Everyone is banned from ringside: I can only see a good match yes absolutely, but also a retain as well.

The Death Riders': Jon Moxley & Will Osprey [with Marina Shafir] vs. The Young Bucks': Matt & Nick Jackson; Tag Team Match: let's just say it is going to be a really rough night for the Jacksons as to cement his alliance with his new faction Osprey will probably have a difficult choice to make; be a part of this beat down angle after the match or not, I should imagine he will, which should lead into our next match.

The Death Riders': Claudio Castagnoli & Pac vs. Champs Cope and Cage's: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage; Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships: to return the favour the Jacksons will probably be down at ringside or on commentary; to set up this mutual respect angle leading into The Jacksons taking on the champions at AEW All In; London; Wembley Stadium, Sunday 30/08/2026.

Maya World vs. Champ Hikaru Shida; Singles Match for the AEW TBS Championship: this is just an exercise in giving World experience and the rub; basically like the Knight and Omega situation.

Jack Perry vs. The Beast Mortos vs. Komander vs. "Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. AR Fox or Nick Wayne vs. the ROH World Television Champion Lio Rush or El Clon; Six-Way Ladder Match to determine the #1 contender for the AEW International Championship: I am happy with my selection, but they should really make it a Triple Threat for this championship including "Speedball" Mike Bailey and obviously including the champion at this time; Kyle Fletcher as well, especially if it is scheduled for AEW All In, but then again they still have plenty of time to potentially book and consequently stipulations or they could always do something more probable, but I will discuss that later.

Bang Bang Gang's: Jay White & Juice Robinson vs. The Dogs': David Finlay & Clark Connors; Double Chain Tag Team Match: I am going with a mass interference from both stables with someone debuting tip the scales for The Dogs.

The Conglomeration's: Willow Nightingale vs. Champ the Triangle of Madness'; Thekla [with The Sisters of Saint: Julia Hart & Sky Blue;] Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: unfortunately everyone knows that this feud is just a holding pattern for Mercedes Moné vs. Thekla for her championship at AEW All In, with Moné doing this save from beat down thing and yes I will be saying something similar in the next match slot as well

The AEW TNT Champion the Don Callis Family's; Kevin Knight [with Don Callis] vs. Champ Kenny Omega; Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: this should be a good match, but everyone should know that it is all about the closing angle; where the Don Callis Family goes this beat down on Omega, but here comes Bailey for the save with a steel chair in hand, to eventually set up; Bailey vs. Knight for his championship at AEW All In.
