Saturday Night Live UK [Season 1,] Episode 2: Host: Jamie Dornan & Music Guests: Wolf Alice by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there is mature to adult themes in this content, flashing effects/colourful effects/Nazi salute and reference to Swastika/burning including at some point me just telling it as it is with very little verbally any filter, but clearly remember to use some censoring of language I will also be making reference to a point in history just to make a valid points, an illegal sex acts and a convicted sex offender, male mutilation and reference to male chemical castration

The Face of Comedy Award: Bristol Airport [short description: musical skit about British/Irish people going on holiday to in this case Spain; essentially taking home with them, which in a nutshell makes it pointless going on holiday and they even make reference to this as well in this skit.

Fast food wrap roughly set in the 19th century [short description: musical skit about these workers working in the workout was on an assembly line for just a very small section of putting this container together.]

The Face of Tragedy Award: The MI5 Headquarters, London, 1997 [short description: involving Prince Andrew and the recently deceased Princes Diana [in reference to a skit from last weeks episode entitled The Last Supper with David Attenborough,] including reference to Elizabeth II and we get to see Sarah Ferguson and Peter Mandelson [short description: this agency has called in Prince Andrew with the idea to make Prince Charles more likeable; they need to make people around him more unlikeable; so they hand Andrew a massive folder of what they have planned.] Okay what brain-dead spastic came up with this idea? Because not only is it tone-deaf to these real-life current situations, everyone knows it is an unwritten rule in comedy, you don't touch an historic deaths in comedy unless you are somewhat involved ie Jewish and the Holocaust, even though I am fully aware they have linked the previous Attenborough skit to this one, you just don't touch Princess Diana and dying in any way shape or form.

Then we have Jamie Dornan; doing his opening monologue and apparently talking about one of his interests which is rocks that look like that look like potatoes and then being interrupted; I don't care if this is real or not, I know; I know there are two Irish people doing this back and forth which I made reference to earlier being okay in reference to Jewish and all that, but having one moment talking about the Royals and then Irish people talking about potatoes is just bad comedy; I mean why don't we go one step further and talk about the potato famine? [For most people like can't pick up subtext; I am very much being sarcastic.]

Hostage relationship status [short description: the kidnapper is sending out a message about the person he has as a hostage; but the hostage is worried about labels and where she is with this relationship.] Okay this is just cringeworthy and surprise surprise it just isn't funny.

A Battle Within [short description: we are on this film set where a soldier/mother and son are reunited, but this female performer keeps forgetting the family dynamic and basically wants to have sex with him; they try resetting the scene a few times, but then they try with a new female performer that just runs in and jumps on to our soldier, but he says it is essentially okay because he likes this one.] Well want someone to tell me in this context what is so funny about incest, yet again I find myself calling this TV show tone deaf, because on one hand everyone seems to have forgotten Harvey Weinstein and on the other hand, if this were the man groping a woman it wouldn't be funny, but as long as it is a man; that is okay... double standards much?

Weekend Update [short description: a comical look back over recent news stories; everything is going well until the Hand in Hand bit and anything after this is just terrible; yet again it seems to virtual signal that women are okay and men at the problem.]

Beanz Bros [short description: we have these two family members that are serious about beans on toast, like their nan is to make, then this skit takes a dark turn, she is now a convicted criminal and at some point these family members make reference to chemical castration just so that the genes don't carry on.] This is just fudgin' stupid, I don't know what else to say really other than man this is just fudgin' stupid and so immature.

Meal with Rugby legend Jason Roberts [short description: we have these two couples; while having Jason Roberts rugby player and the other having this male individual that could have gone pro if it wasn't for his knees, in fact Roberts makes reference to the fact he hears the knees reference consistently, so this individual mutilates his testicles to give himself a made up injury.] So how is this remotely comical? This is just manure!

This episode receives: 2/10, this episode is poor; I mean wow what a bunch of manure this was, okay there are some positive and bits and pieces that on the whole get a pass, but on the briefly scanning through this content I have noticed an ongoing theme of it is more than acceptable to poke fun at historic references or gear things towards men being the butt of the joke or castrated or mutilated somehow, but they won't go after any of the modern worlds call values.

Such as one example I know we are only two episodes in but so far I have not seen one sketch seen like this hypothetically; briefly a person walks into the post office; wearing a red hat, the person behind the counter says hello there Red Hat, the following day the same person walks into the post office this time wearing a pink hat, but the person behind the counter says hello there Red Hat, the person leaves the post office, the person behind the counter receives a warning, the following day the same person walks into the post office wearing a green hat, the person behind the counter says hello there Pink Hat, the person leaves the post office and yet the person behind the counter receives another warning, the following day the same person walks into the post office wearing a orange hat, the person behind the counter says hi Green Hat with fear in their voice, the person leaves the post office comes back the next day to find a new person; but this person is very much in, out and done with everybody which comes off rude, which is person with multiple hats doesn't like wants to complain to the manager; the manager comes out and gets told his employee has been incredibly rude the manager asks how? This person with daily hat changes says by not acknowledging me as a person, in a fit of rage their hat falls off, to be picked up by the person that originally worked at the post office and handed back to the person; with these multiple hats with saying underneath we are just people.

Obviously if you are smart enough; this sketch scene is about pronouns and how they are being used as weapons, even when in this scene someone was trying to respect their previous wishes [yes I even confuse myself dictating this scene keeping in mind the previous day's colour of hat so if it is slightly off that is why.] I used hats because you can see hats, but you can't see pronouns.

But I can guarantee you they won't, because for them to do that they would have to look at themselves in the mirror and acknowledge that this modern culture is complicated and ridiculous and I know at least two of their cast are from the rainbow community, so they won't mock or attack this modern culture.

I watched someone else's content on this program last night they were basically referencing it as edgy and that is their opinion and they are welcome to it, what I would call it as pandering, virtual signalling hollocks, with this expression of "You go woke you go broke" I really can't see them getting a second season, based on the fact based on the same content I watched they were stupid enough to point out the writers have already gotten a warning to tone it down already.
