Average Extra of: Madden - Official Teaser | Prime Video 2026: My Reaction by AverageMansReviews
Real Talking Time:
Warning:
there will be adult language references and censored adult language references
in one way or another in this content.
My reaction: straight from the outset I only watched roughly
speaking the 41 seconds one, which man you can tell a lot even from just 41
seconds or roughly around here.
Like
man this film is going to suck so hard it would give Bonnie Blue a run for her
money. Like if you close your eyes like 95% Nicholas Cage might just look like
John Madden, hell I am pretty sure I could get a blind person to feel around
the face of a Madden statue or art work and they could tell me that Cage as
Madden is nothing like, in fact if I was to be honest with you I would feel
much more comfortable suggesting that it is more offensive than anything,
because yes we know he was a large person, but this interpretation doesn't do
him any justice whatsoever.
Moving
on are you fudgin' kidding me?! You see even though we are just talking about
seconds here there is something strange about this official teaser or whatever
and it would be this we go for this content and something for most parts is
missing and that is Cage as Madden talking until it happens in this clip and
there is a very good reason based on my opinion why they waited so long, do you
want to know why?... Well allow me to tell you why... It is just one very small
detail, I am sure you won't even notice... it is just for you ever so small
detail that Cage actually sounds nothing
fudgin' like Madden actually the truth may as well be John Madden is
Nicholas Cage, because Cage based on this trailer sound like himself.
This
is absolutely terrible casting what the hell was someone thinking I mean Madden
was the voice of the NFL from 1979-2009 on various TV networks in that time and
on radio from the 70s-2018 and I began listening to his voice many years ago on
Monday Night Football towards the end of his TV career, I mean for fudge sake
he appeared in an episode of The Simpsons: Season 10, Episode 12: "Sunday,
Cruddy Sunday" alongside Pat Summerall giving us a rundown of the episode
and the football. So my point being here is; under no circumstance can you
screw up on Madden's enthusiastic booming, love for the game voice, but I stand
corrected because clearly you can screw it up and royally screw it up.
So
my prediction for this project would be; 3/10, I should point out I am going
under the theory of there may be some good sports action or/and comedy or you
know surrounding components which become an asset to this project, because Cage
certainly isn't one, basically you better get ready to line up your at minimum
negative nominee awards for this film.
