Review Time
Warning:
there is colourful effects/flashing effects/terrorism/drugs/medical/references
to Russia, terrorism and underage
It wasn't me:
briefly; Secret Service Agent Pete
Garrison [Michael Douglas:] he until a short time ago was the Secret Service of
the President of the United States of America and the First Lady, but now is on
the run for a crime he didn't commit. Secret Service Agent David Breckinridge
[Kiefer Sutherland:] he is leading the chase and charge to capture Garrison,
and I am sure that there is nothing personal in it... Oh yes did I forget to
mention; they were once best friends until Garrison slept with Breckinridge's
wife.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 108 minute film is...
well this is going to sound confusing, but slow and steady with attempts of
being quicker than what it actually is... in hindsight you are very much aware
of the time not really moving.
Action;
there is plenty of chasing, gunfire and the only action sequence and tell you
to look out for is this type of chopper being taken care of and there is about
it really.
Character
developments and performances; because this film is a mystery all I can say
about them really is they are solidly good and the performances of those
character developments are reflected in the performances. But let's be
completely honest this film would have really struggled or really gone to
pieces without Douglas or/and Sutherland: individually or together they really
do try to keep this film upwardly mobile
This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; as I have already indicated
in one way or another everything just sticks to the script and consequently it
gets given the mark it does, I mean if you have seen it before I would
recommend watching it once, but it is very much one of those films that you can
only see once or like myself see it once every large gap in the middle, I think
I have seen this film may be three times and the last two times I think was to
produce some kind of content under a different name or now this name. It does
have 2 Nominees to its name; Golden Trailer Awards 2006 Golden Trailer Best
Thriller Black Reel Awards 2007 Black Reel Best Director Clark Johnson
