Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/vehicle crashing/burning/bodily functions/references of a homosexual nature.

Run trip to California: briefly; Woody Stevens [John Travolta:] unfortunately he is going through a divorce where he could lose everything, be it personally or professional, so he decides to get his boys together that he has grown up with: they are collectively known as the "Wild Hogs": a wannabe bikers group, they are all middle-aged so they may not have too many long journeys left in them.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 100 minute film is good; it knows what it is doing from beginning to end and just motors for it.

Character developments, comedy, action and the performances; well we have to go some many years back for this style of comedy where it is for in most parts linked to these four friends/bikers and these character types which are of good quality: for an example Dudley Frank [William H. Macy:] he is a computer programmer, that has issues with being socially awkward which could mean falling off his motorcycle or/and accidentally putting through this diner front door window trying to give the illusion of being a hard man and as he uses I am paraphrasing essentially here; he will blame it on the other guys in this scene at the time. There is good chemistry throughout this cast, everyone wanted to participate in making this film pleasant at the very least and I think they achieved that with flying colours

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; I mean is what it is; which is a solidly good film which yes is goofy and yes it doesn't have much of a repeating human factor I mean this would be the second time I've seen this film and it has been out since 2007 and is now 2025, I just wouldn't take this film too seriously and this film also does have an extra ending sequence down the left-hand side of the ending credits and finally this film does have some awards accredited to its name such as; 1 Winner BMI Film & TV Awards 2007 BMI Film Music Award Film Music Teddy Castellucci and 4 Nominees which includes but not limited to People's Choice Awards, USA 2007 People's Choice Award Favorite Movie Comedy
