Well this garbage and I didn't even
get to be the end in its entirety: briefly; John Anderson Wade [Rutger
Hauer:] is a shipping and business guy after being betrayed by someone he
thought he could trust, he is now for revenge and his money.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 97
minute film is; well what you want me to say?; This film is completely boring,
okay in theory the script may have been okay [it is of revenge;] but the
execution of the project in its entirety is so, so poor. Because this project
has very little get up and go to it I found myself falling asleep and okay you
can clearly see this project has been produced on a budget.
Action and art; it is that kind of
stuff that you associate with an action futuristic world to move things going
on, the futuristic presentation; if I had to pick something to highlight as a
positive would be this; there is clearly artistic visions being used here.
Character developments and
performances; they are on both counts I would say reliable versions and solid
performances of what they are meant to be,
This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; yes I have highlighted some fragments of
this film that are positives, but all together and I don't say this often; but
this film is bad. It just seems to mash altogether with an outline of the
script that should have worked with very little pace to that point where I kept
falling asleep and eventually for whatever reason the film started jumping and
then stopped so they may have missed about a grand total of seven minutes at
the end; it was very much like the machine I watch these DVDs on was spitting
this film out, because it was that bad. I mean if you like Hauer by all means
check it out. But I would just recommend keeping your expectations incredibly
low, so that you're not too disappointed.
