28 Days Later 2002 Links https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2025/05/28-days-later-2002-by-averagemansreviews.html; So after
that: briefly; we meet Don and Alice
[Robert Carlyle and Catherine McCormack:] a husband-and-wife [to cover my back
it doesn't specify this; but I am going with it:] they are sharing this
location with some people, but things go south: this is their story.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 100 minute film is
good; even though for me it does need some time to find his rhythm; I know it
has a quick sequence very near to the beginning of the sequel; I am just
referring to its consistency.
Action
and art; as you would come to expect from this franchise; it revolves around
people running for their lives in a frantic manner as they obviously don't want
to be bitten/bodily fluid transmitted consequently infected/turned into a rage
zombie. But for me this usage of a military upwardly mobile helicopter to dice
these zombies like dicer is on one hand highly imaginative and creative and
spectacularly graphic and throughout this sequel these landscapes have been
given the real authentic approach as well.
Character
developments, performances and comedy; on both counts broadly speaking they are
all good; but having said that there are some better than others such as Jeremy
Renner as Sargent Doyle: a US Army individual that tries to do everything he
can to get these children to wear they need to be, he does have a sense of
humour as he pretends to bite one of his friends like a rage zombie.
This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; after everything is said and done this film/sequel finds itself in this section of my marking system and let's hope the sequel 28 Years Later released very soon in this year of 2025 can keep up the positive instalment to this trilogy. This film has some awards to its name such as 3 Winners which includes but not limited to Empire Awards, UK 2008 Empire Award Best Horror and 16 Nominees which also includes but not limited to BET Awards 2008 BET Award Best Actor Idris Elba as General Stone: he is the overseer of District 1. Shared with: This Christmas American Gangster
