28 days later: briefly; Jim [Cillian Murphy:] he wakes up in hospital
to find that the world is a different world, full of rage zombies, luckily he
finds Selena [Naomie Harris:] she is a chemist and a battle hardened
survivalist to this landscape; this is their journey.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 113 minutes film is
for heavy amount of the time incredibly slow, don't get me wrong yes it does
pick up right around say just before the final quarter, but other than that it
is slow as hell.
Art
and action; we do have a little bit of pleasant scenery such as for an example;
this brief yet eye-catching bed of flowers as we are on our journey in his taxi
to our destination, yet again yes these rage infected zombies look really
authentic and gruesome. Later on the action sequences are chaotic as obviously
they want to stay alive, but I hasten to add because of the pacing issue from
earlier you may be a little like myself finally we have gotten something of
great substance to highlight, mixed in with better late than never with a
little of when this film ended?
Character
developments and performances; the character development are very typical of
the horror zombie apocalypse genre; so on both counts they are solidly good
versions and representations of those character developments consequently
performances.
This film receives: 7/10, this film is good, all I can really say is; it is
a good thing that this film has a positive final section or there or
thereabouts. The person I watch some of the content with, found this film to be
boring, but then again, this individual is not a big fan of zombie films to
begin with. This film has some awards accredited to its name and no they are
not all positive such as; 10 Winners that include but not limited to Black Reel
Awards 2004 Black Reel Film: Best Breakthrough Performance Naomie Harris and
Fangoria Chainsaw Awards 2004 Chainsaw Award Best Wide-Release Film. 32
Nominations that include adults are not limited to from the same award
ceremony/event Best Actor Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actress Naomie Harris
and Worst Film
