Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/tourism/shooting/references to West Germany, the Holocaust, Jewish people and Israel

05 September 1972: briefly; it is the Summer of this year and there is this terrorist situation occurring inside the Olympic Village and those from ABC Sports and all of its crew tried to keep on top of that situation as things develop such as Geoffrey Mason [John Magaro:] he is the head of the control room as this situation develops.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 94 minutes film; well for a little while it is really slow and because of this; it does come across as disjointed, but when it picks up its feet and has discovered its identity; it moves much more fluently as it is trying to deal with things as they happen or as best they can.

Art; I like the set design of the old technology and how TV works and all this really.

Character developments and performances; on both counts they like the art trying to recreate these real people in this real-life situation, which I think they have really achieved here with excellent chemistry throughout this cast; as be it the character or/and performer and they seem to understand with great comprehension of gravity of this situation and what is required from this cast.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; now before I continue I would like to state the following is not against this film, but having said that now I will continue; for those people that lived through this situation you may or may not want or those affected by the ramifications of this event; you may or may not want to watch this film. But for those that are interested in biography or/and historic event films you may want to give this film will look.

This film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 11 Winners which includes but is not limited to Heartland International Film Festival 2024 Audience Choice Award Narrative Special Presentation Tim Fehlbaum (director) and 25 Nominees which include but also not limited to Golden Globes, USA 2025 Golden Globe Best Motion Picture, Drama
