Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: The Tragic Passing of Sabu aged 60 in 2025 by AverageMansReviews
Warning: obviously I don't mean any disrespect, but some point
in this content this will make perfect sense, I just wanted to make this really
clear at the beginning.
Sabu passes on at the age of 60: on Sunday 11/05/2025 it was becoming public knowledge
that this has unfortunately happened and obviously the first thing I want to
say is; I would like to send my condolences to his family, friends, colleagues
and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Terrance Michael Brunk a.k.a. Sabu.
Because
I have been around wrestling long enough I think for those that have been
similarly around wrestling long enough would also agree with this sentiment of
if a wrestling promotion/promoter understood the concept of what Sabu brought
to the table then, you would get the very best version of him, but for an
example if you watch and this is for the younger generations; don't watch him
within the WWE or the WCW the it does him a great disservice as based on my
viewing experience; they either wanted a tamer version of him or/and they
didn't know how to book him or/and manage him and this is nothing personal, I
am still talking about just the concept of Sabu.
Sabu's
wrestling style was of extreme, extreme hard-core, highflyer but also broadly
speaking reliably safe or as reliably safe as you know it can be and he always
gave you 110%, the guy didn't know the meaning of reverse and there was always
a very good possibility that he would steal the show with his passion,
enthusiastic nature and leaving everything out there in the middle of the ring,
even though 60 is still the top end of middle age, we should be grateful to
have and having the opportunity to experience him for as long as we did and if
there is one silver lining to this dark cloud; it is he has now been reunited
with his uncle The Sheik: he paid tribute to his uncle by pointing up to the
sky in a now legendary iconic stance at some point or points, which alive or nowhad died;
which trained his nephew Sabu: RIP Edward "The Sheik" Farhat 1926-2003 and now RIP Terrance
"Sabu" Brunk: you may be gone, but one thing is for certain you will
never be forgotten
