Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2001 [alternative name Wo hu cang long] by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there is flashing effects/animal cruelty/drugs/stabbing/impaling/cutting/burning/medical
We need to find out who is the
assassin: briefly; we have Li Mu Bai and Yu
Shu Lien [Chow Yun-fat and Michelle Yeoh:] that are trying to figure out the
identity of this highly trained assassin.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 120 minutes film is
good; now I should warn you that I did watch this film at the cinema which it
was well worth the experience, but however it was entirely in subtitles and as
I am dyslexic this does present somewhat of a problem, I can keep up with one
or two people generally speaking, but if there are more and the dialogue is
quick I will give it my best, but I will lose some things hence why the first
section is smaller than I usually do. But putting them to one side; as I have
already said it is good; as it has a sense of it is always go somewhere with
some enthusiasm.
Art,
action and comedy; for the younger generations that probably haven't seen this
film yet; visual/combat combined are truly mesmerising as we have sequences
rooftop to rooftop, including a little later right after this fall on action
sequence, we have the classic comedy moment where the part of the scenery falls
down or/and later on we have this one-on-one action sequence taking place in
these trees.
Character
developments and performances; the character developments are of the reliably
good versions of what they were going with here, but it is down to the
performances of this cast; yes I may not be able to read that well, but I can
read body language, physical cues, mannerisms and all of that with great ease.
So obviously with this being stated; there were strong performances and
consequently really flaunt back and forth chemistry; everyone connected to this
film is should be incredibly proud of what they did bring this project to life,
because this is one of those movies that will stand the test of time and I mean
this in the right way; how a foreign film can break out into the mainstream and
as you will see pick up either award or/and nominees.
This film receives: 10/10, this film
is top-notch entertainment; even though I clearly had a viewing experience
issue it for obvious reason, I can still regard it as a film that you need to
see once in your life time, for its complete viewing experience as it is truly
mesmerising with its outstanding and perfection action sequences and it has
many of on many awards such as 101 Winner that includes but is not limited to
