Warning: I will be using one heinous word in this content, but
as you will see it as a case of if the word fits and if that is what this
character is then I can’t be held responsible for that.
Real Talking Time:
It was back on the big screen: this film remains to be a modern-day classic; let's
start with the cast: Nicolas Cage as Cameron Poe: basic description basically a
good guy that served his country and he has just finished paying is for us for
an incident, John Cusack as U.S. Marshal Vince Larkin, a U.S. Marshal: the head
control of these flights with these criminals on board, he is highly
educated, John Malkovich as Cyrus
"The Virus" Grissom: he has spent the vast majority of the right
behind bars, he is also highly intelligent, I wouldn't push him because he can
be very volatile, Ving Rhames as Nathan "Diamond Dog" Jones: he is
also a criminal that is also intelligent in his own right, that believes in
black power, a novelist and Grissom's right-hand man, Colm Meaney as DEA Agent
Duncan Malloy: he is arrogant, he wants to handle things his own way and will
butt heads with Larkin on a consistent basis, Dave Chappelle as Joe
"Pinball" Parker: he is a quick mouth criminal that takes
instructions from Grissom, Danny Trejo as John "Johnny 23" Baca: a
serial rapist, which Grissom is quite open about it; that he doesn't like
rapists, but there is this uneasy alliance, Steve Buscemi as Garland "The
Marietta Mangler" Greene: he is a notorious serial kille; also extremely
intimidating and intelligent to the level of psychological therapists of some
description, which now and again gives out these moments of wisdom or/and
advice which is serious but also perfectly timed to bring comedy as well, but
as you can see this cast is fantastically assembled and for the names I haven't
mentioned all of the cast bring something to the table and finally I can now
say this; this is one of those occasions where everything must have been
aligned to get all the names in one place at one time.
You
see with this cast that has been put together, we also have some excellent
action sequences; such as the puzzle explosion and then later on; makeshift
plan of attack with a pinch of comedy plan of attack, potentially bloodbath
sequence of events; where Grissom is giving this very quick plan of attack in
this; quickly put together construction of things that can be easily found; to
make a replica kind of; of this location they are now defending; so in a vague
description he is saying; this is the front and this is the back and a convict
asks what is that? Which Grissom says that is a rock [and then slowly move it
out of the way;] with this criminal realising his mistake and is ever so brief
silence of implying; time is of the essence and he didn't have time to clear it
out before constructing miniature location map.
You
see this film has so much to offer in one way or another; that if you haven't
seen it yet you should really or at least once-in-a-lifetime especially if or
when you have the opportunity to see on the big screen.
