It is Bulma's Birthday: briefly; but that doesn't stop trouble in the form of Beerus the Destroyer [voiced by Jason Douglas:] he is the God of Destruction and alongside him is his associate Whis [voice by Ian Sinclai:] he fulfils his role to more or less what a butler should do when Beerus isn't doing his destroying thing, but he is fascinated on how cuisine has changed throughout these many years. But they are looking for this Super Saiyan to do battle with, because of Beerus' premonition, which leads us to Goku/Kakarot [voiced by Sean Schemmel:] he is a Saiyan that has defended the Earth many times and is their greatest defender, but he is excited for some strange reason to go up against the God of Destruction, I mean I know he likes a challenge, but this one might be one step too far.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 85 minutes film is good; right at the beginning of this film we do get in one way or another a lot of exposition, but after all that it is straightforward; still fun, but straightforward nonetheless as it focuses on this next threat to the Earth and yes I will bring up more about the character developments later on.

Comedy, art and action; we have Beerus struggling to get out of bed even with these specially designed alarm clocks going off with a massive explosion, with Whis trying to get him up, with eventually Beerus sliding down to the ground and then we have a teleporting journey, which it gets reference on how long this journey might take which is roughly and average time of Anime episode. Now obviously as everyone should know either by watching this franchise or knowing of its reputation, legacy and legendary status that the art individually or together simultaneously with the action is perfection. The scenery and/or landscapes are detailed yet quaint and also continuing the sentiment of what incredibly high quality this franchise has bring me on to his highly explosive action sequences: they can be so powerful as to destroy large chunks of a location, including they can go absolutely anywhere in the air, on the ground or underground; you may want to try and keep up with the high octane action.

Character developments and voice performances; on both counts these are all good; including the exposition from earlier on as this recap, but also building on progression as well, there is smooth and free flowing chemistry throughout this cast of voice performances.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; as I have already referenced, okay the storyline is straightforward, but then again as long as you/we have all of the hallmarks of this franchise in this project all is right with the worldAnd I had the privilege to go and see this film at the cinema. There is some extra bits and pieces in the closing credits section of this film. This film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 7 Behind the Voice Actors Awards 2015 BTVA; BTVA Anime Dub Movie/Special Voice Acting Award Best Vocal Ensemble in an Anime Feature Film/SpecialSean Schemmel Jason Douglas Ian Sinclair Christopher Sabat Kyle Hebert Laura BaileyKara Edwards Chuck Huber Sonny Strait Kent Williams. 4 Nominees that includes but not limited to Sitges - Catalonian International Film Festival 2013 Anima't Award Best Animated Feature Film Masahiro Hosoda
