Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/environmental/ breaking/burning/medical

Time is of the essence in the North Sea: briefly; we have maintenance taking place deep in the North Sea as something goes wrong, Chris Lemons [Finn Cole:] he is a relatively new diver, but he has been well trained by  Duncan Allcock [ Woody Harrelson:] he is a veteran and in fact after two decades this will be his last rotation, he in short ensures the other diver of their trio David Yuasa [Simu Liu:] he is another diver that once Lemons to focus on here and now and not the outside world, but I digress;  Allcock says essentially he is ready.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 93 minutes film is; well it does take some time to get into the swing of things, but during this incident and throughout as you would expect things move with gusto and purpose.

Comedy, art and action; we do have some comedy elements for one example an impression of Sir David Attenborough [for those outside of the UK; he has spent the vast majority of his long life of this content being first created he is 98 years old and he is the voice for the environment and the animals; he literally is the voice of documentaries as it relates to anything today in these two subjects and anything in between.] The art; is based around the experience style: meaning it now and again goes inside from the perspective of the divers or/and what it is like searching around or being in this situation; all from the comfort of the cinema or eventually from wherever you watch this film. For the action; we get to witness what Lemons has to do to get somewhere or see if it is possible for this machine to perform a rescue [which we also get to see from its prospective] or/and rescue attempt.

Character developments and performances; the character developments are all good, but it is the well rounded performances from everyone in the cast has these characters/performers; quickly and efficiently deal with this situation: I would like to think at some point in the not too distant future this film gets at the very least a nomination for Best Established Cast or something like this.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; it takes us through this unforeseen situation, with time being of the most importance, so when we are going through this incident time is of the essence as everyone that can pull together to resolve this incident can and does, so on a reflection I have decided to award this film title an extra mark, on top of that the person I watch some of this content with thought this was a excellent film. This film also has two extra sequences of events and it also has an award accredited to its name: 1 Winner Heartland Film 2025 Truly Moving Picture Award Truly Moving Picture Award Alex Parkinson (director)
