CDI [Chicks Dig It;] it is a good thing that it got given a different name: Mason Pettits [John Cena:] is an lawyer, turned ex-Army Special Forces, discharged on medical grounds turned back into a lawyer, but he gets given an opportunity from an old likewise former Special Forces friend in Sebastian Earle [Christian Slater:] that owns and runs CDI [Contracted Defense Initiatves;] he offers Pettits $20,000 to protect this award-winning journalist as she interviews the President of Paldonia; this award-winning journalist's name is  Claire Wellington [Alison Brie:] she won the International Journalism and Editors Award, but she is also partly disgraced as a journalist as well, as she can check on her sources and basically the credibility of those sources. But she has this interview with President Juan Venegas [Juan Pablo Raba:] he doesn't give interviews, but comes over as a nice guy, but he also has a history with Pettits and Earle.

Generally speaking: the framework pacing of this 109 minutes film is... well it has a plan and sticks to that. We welcomed into this film by Mason with narration and seeing things from his perspective starting off as a boy and then so on for the opening section to this film. In hindsight this is where the positives of this film comes from as from an character, artistic, comedy and action perspectives come into play; where we get to experience a little bit of his life, this prospective is a clean and tidy representation of this outlay, including unfortunately someone vomiting on him and then when he joins the army, this is where the first person shooter perspective comes into play as he goes on these missions and finally we get to experience Mason falling out of this militarised chopper.

Now on to the rest of this film; it is very much filled up with the standard for this kind of film; the action and comedy is severable.

Character developments and performances; minus the positive bit I said earlier, the rest of it is paint by numbers and safe and reliable versions of what they are meant to be and the performances reflect that.

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed: as I have already indicated it knows what it is and sticks to the plan, don't get me wrong if you like either or both Cena or Slater take a look at this film, but I wouldn't expect too much and there is a something bloopers in the first section of the ending credits on the right-hand side.
