Power Rangers Zeo [Season 1,] Episode 8: The Puppet Blaster by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/other effects/transformation/robotics/shooting/short-circuiting

They basically have reused this idea in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie 1995 Link: https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2019/01/mighty-morphin-power-rangers-movie-1995.html Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Action; briefly the leader/King of the Machine Empire; King Mondo comes up the idea to use this children's entertainer robot; Puppetman to hypnotise the children of Angel Grove and then the world.

Later on Tommy/Zeo Ranger V Red called upon their latest new weapon system in their fight against evil; it is called Defender Wheel; it gets a sky drop entrance from Tommy/Zeo Ranger V Red's Zord;  Zeo Zord V/SkyPhoenix; basic description it is something that Hot Wheels [the toy company] would be proud of as it is basically a mixture between a big wheel/tyre in its holder and a giant exercise wheel for small pets and in this case Tommy/Zeo Ranger V Red is playing the role of a small pet; the holder is red whilst the tyre is black; as it builds up speed to hit its target likewise in this case it would be Puppetman whilst the other Zeo Rangers stand either side. Even though I have slightly mock this; it is description and how it functions; it is something uniquely fresh and hard-hitting, so I like it a lot.

This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; this should be no surprise; it does feel like that this episode storyline deserves to be in a much earlier season of this TV program. But don't get me wrong as I have already discussed/point out when it comes to the art and action it is really highly imaginative and creative [on a quick side note the reason why there is a gap with the link is because it changes the text around it for some reason.]
