Warning/Disclaimer: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/homosexual slur/electrocution/torture/shooting/breaking/choking/decapitation/disembowelment/running/vehicle crashing. Disclaimer; if anyone should undertake these words of wisdom in this content go and seek the right professionals guidance before doing so and finally I cannot stress this enough, if anyone should take these words of wisdom on board with or without the consent of a professional of any background I will not take any responsibility for the potential outcomes. I will repeat that one more time, I will not take any responsibility for any potential outcomes, now I have made it crystal clear I can proceed with this content.

20 years later: nutshell; these two Central High; high school friends meet up days before their high school reunion. Calvin Joyner/other names [Kevin Hart:] at Central High he was very popular and all-rounder, including marrying his high school sweetheart Maggie Joyner [Danielle Nicolet:] speculation on my part I'm going to give her the title of successful business person, because unless I have missed something or we just don't get told but whatever she is successful in her own office, but nowadays Calvin is just an accountant. We now meet Bob Stone/other names/other characters [Young stand in: Sione Kelepi/Adult: Dwayne Johnson:] at high school he was far physically different from what he is in the present day, for him high school was not a good experience. But Calvin is completely unaware that Agent Stone is going to completely change their lives.

The framework and pacing of this 116 minutes film is good, don't get me wrong does follow a very simple yet very effective yet reliable yet timeless classic outlay of life changing experiences, richer for the experience of this event and you can change things around and be comfortable with the person you are that kind of thing [I will discuss this last bit more later on.]

Character developments and performances: as I have just illustrated the character developments follow a very simple and in short very effective outlay, generally speaking the cast performances are a reflection of their character types which means this is good with good chemistry. I am not being woke here, but I get the positive message about making changes and being comfortable with who you are, but you are aware as of 2016 or/and 2023 and beyond, this is a silly notion. Because yes I can lose some weight, I could improve myself but at the end of the day, I am still a person with brain damage. I mean I have made some kind of peace with being disabled, but it is the first thing anyone sees and because we are living in a very superficial society I stick out like a sore thumb. I am not being a cynical old goat, but for the sense of achievement and inner peace to somebody, it is better to say "Try and change if you want to, do what you can change and try to make peace with what you can't." So as you can see that kind of attempt of cheesy positive messaging rubs me up the wrong way and for those people now thinking or saying something to the effect of "Obviously this message wasn't meant for you." To that I would say "Caution you are now walking a very slim line between prejudiced and/or discrimination."

But now we come to some meat in this film, let's not kid ourselves here the driving force behind this film is a partnership of Johnson and Hart; so they chemistry is fluently there making everything run like clockwork, this is one of those films where I can easily say without this partnership this film would have just fallen flat on its face.

Action/Comedy: I will give you one lengthy sequence roughly; Calvin and Agent Stone discussing things and at the same time Agent Stone is setting up something, Calvin doesn't like what he hears so he blows their cover as there are other CIA Agents, which are looking for them; Agent Stone has to basically a spear [a running wrestling move,] out of the way of getting shot by these Agent. So our partnership is now taking cover behind I believe these cubical dividers, Agent Stone wants Kelvin to use his acting abilities that picked up from high school; improv a hostage type of character which Kelvin says no to it but in a lively situation Agent Stone just nicely yanks him up and goes with it using him as a hostage and shooting his gun. Obviously Calvin and every other civilian in this sequence is panicking, then our partnership takes refuge behind this printer, our Agent pulls out the ink cartridge and throws it up and towards these other Agents; Agent Stone is at the same time following his gun at this ink cartridge to create this black mist. Calvin tries to make a run for it, but Agent Stone scoops him what I think is a mail trolley, where Calvin is obviously still screaming, to somewhat speed this up a little eventually they get surrounded with Agent Pamela Harris [Amy Ryan:] she is the leading Agent responsible for bringing this case to a close, a little Agent to Agent back and forth, then off the back of that Calvin tries to get himself out of this situation, it doesn't work. But unknown to her and everyone else Agent Stone from earlier on had created a distraction which give it a couple of more seconds and it will be ready to go off, Agent Stone briefly informs by whispering Calvin with the most basic of details of if it works you will have totally boss story, but he declined; this distraction goes off and Agent Stone runs and pushes Calvin in this mail trolley through this window which breaks and potentially falling to their death, but with a little bit of luck they land on this inflatable advertising gorilla and then quickly make a getaway.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; it is a solidly good film, which if you haven't seen it yet it is worth a watch especially if you like Hart or/and Johnson separately or together, we also have a blooper reel at the end of this film. This film also has awards accredited to its name; 2 Winners Kids' Choice Awards, USA 2017 Blimip Award BFFs (Best Friends Forever) Dwayne Johnson Kevin Hart and Teen Choice Awards 2016 Teen Choice Awards Choice Summer Movie Star: Male Kevin Hart. 8 nominees that include also from the previous award ceremony/event Choice Summer Movie Star: Male Dwayne Johnson and Choice Summer Movie

Warning/Disclaimer: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/racism/references to white supremacy and sexual assault. Disclaimer: because of the sensitive world we are now living in; I would like to state that anything I say in this content is not deemed as racial, it is just the way things were back then so I wouldn't be saying it if it was their way in the first place.

Essentially what we have here is; a rip-off of the 1980's The A-Team TV program: in a nutshell; this Mexican community are under the control of Militia/"Sons of Texas" [a white supremacist group as well] led by Lamont Sperry [Marshall R. Teague:] he is an ex-Special Forces Commander which has done many illegal arms deals. Eventually this group of highly skilled individuals led by McQue [Robert Davi:] a cold individual that undertakes this mission for a certain amount of money and whatever Sperry is sitting on. Yes don't worry we may not have Ex-United States Army Special Forces 5th Special Forces Group Sergeant First Class Bosco Albert "B.A." Baracus/nickname “Bad Attitude" [portrayed by Mr. T. was also a wrestler] But we do have Dash Simms [Roddy Piper was also a wrestler:] a member of McQue unit for this essentially mercenary mission, he is specialty other then having similar skills to the vast majority of the rest of this group is driving.

The framework and pacing of this 81 minutes film is so boring, to the point where I was struggling to keep awake and whilst I am on this section what the hell was the black-and-white scenes for as it relates to the action? I mean in theory I get them, it is to signify or probably to signify a character in his either dying or dead with that blow. But that idea does not work when generally speaking you continue their action sequence which in turn makes these black-and-white moments looking and feeling; cheap, tacky, tedious and utterly pointless.

Action/Comedy/Art: in a nutshell and for an example; we have McQue on his motorcycle whilst Simms is driving his car [which on observation as I have just realised it also says on the number plate; I have also censored this; "Legit Bad Posterior"] so McQue is on his motorcycle whilst  Simms is driving with Jeremy Britt [Larry B. Scott:] he is the equipment and other things guy of the group that does not have weapons training of some description behind him. But back to this sequence; Simms shows off his incredibly quick driving talent/skills and at the same time we have McQue pulling wheelies; I think they are raising against one another, but speculation their main focus is to make Britt have brown underwear by the end of the journey just to go and get some pancakes; at one point or another there is in good camera shots, for an example; roughly from the shoulder of Simms, but this is a good sequence in its entirety.

Character developments and performances: they are what they are and their performances or a solid

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; even though I have pointed out some good things or/and solid things about it, I have to award this mark based on the facts the negative things about this film are really negative.

All Elite Wrestling's Tony Kahn and his outburst as it relates to NXT ratings on 10/10/2023 by AverageMansReviews

All Elite Wrestling's Tony Kahn and his outburst as it relates to NXT ratings on 10/10/2023 by AverageMansReviews

Warning Disclaimer: this is just opinion based, I haven't seen all of Kahn's messages on social media as it relates to this topic and finally I haven't watched this NXT episode.

I don't know Kahn personally: but what I do get from him is; and if you have ever supported a sports team or sports person you may understand this better than you think. Because it has been well documented that Khan is a sports businessman what with connections to the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars and in the English premiership with Fulham and not forgetting his own wrestling promotion of All Elite Wrestling. I very much understand what he may be meant [by my interpretation] "This week, 2 active decades-long ratings streaks from 2 great legends were ended With all due respect, until this week's head-to-head AEW on TBS vs WWE on USA, neither John Cena nor Undertaker had ever been on a WWE show with under 1 million total viewers + under 400k in the demo"

I think in this he meant; I mean if you are going to beat us, do it properly at least get over 1 million viewers comfortably and don't take any shortcuts by getting 2 legends to appear on your show that have not ever been a part of it.

Like I said earlier; it is very much like a sports team ethos of understanding the WWE/NXT showed Kahn maximum level of disrespect by not putting out a fully strength side of current or/connectable NXT talent instead they decided to go with a cheap and easy equivalent of 2-1 victory of roughly over 900,000 views to just over 600,000 views. For those that aren't into sports I know sports people have a strange mentality, but that is why I said at the time Khan has a valid point as in I get it.

What I would have preferred to see NXT do in a basic outline is something like this: NXT Presents In Your House: Reunion; to begin the show we have basically Erick Rowan coming down to the ring holding a lit lantern and axe and placing them in the middle of the ring with the spotlight on [obviously to represent Bray Wyatt and his Bludgeon Brother Luke Harper; yes I know they were all in The Wyatt Family, but I needed an item to represent Harper] then we have opening credits to this episode.

Then we could have for weeks previous have The Miz issue an open challenge to anyone in the back for a Singles Match [yes The Miz was a part of the reality TV version of this brand with his now wife Maryse.] But who should answer the call but Bronson Reed; Reed going over here.

Next; we have Cody Rhodes making an announcement that he is the GM for night and he will be very hands-on, in fact he will be sitting on commentary

Asuka vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Damage CTRL's: Bayley [with the WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky &  Dakota Kai] vs. Raquel Rodriguez Fatal-Four Way Match. Where obviously Sky and Kai at some point or going to get involved to take care of Rodriguez, which leaves somehow Perez to sneak a pin fall on Asuka.

Ricochet vs. Bron Breakker Singles Match; feud began on social media; Breakker dared someone to show up at this event so we could run right through them, with Ricochet replying I will see you then; with Breakker going over but I would want Baron Corbin to come out with a chair and sit on it and just watch this match unfold at the end Corbin standing up and giving a sarcastic slow clap, picking up the chair and going back to the locker room.

Moving on; I would have gone to Impact Wrestling and enquired about if he is still there using James Storm [yes he did have a very short stint in NXT in 2015] to build a feud about a month prior between himself and the NXT Tag Team Champions at this time; Tony D'Angelo & Stacks, but if Storm cannot find a tag team partner by this match [because they keep getting taken out by this duo] it will be a 2-on-1 handicap match for these championships. So it comes to this event; it will be a 2-on-1 Handicap Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships; we come to the closing stages of this match it looks like Storm could really do with a tag team partner; he comes Bobby/Robert Roode [Rhodes on commentary: I will allow this development] gets the tag from Storm to throw some punches and hit their finisher/Beer Money Inc. D.W.I. [Drinking While Investing] to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions; yes I have designed this feud like this because it has been somewhat documented that Roode has transferred to a backstage role due to injuries so I have designed it so that he doesn't take too much and to basically protect him. Which sadly comes with the announcement of his retirement after this match but at least he got to go out with his tag team partner and as a champion; with Rhodes coming into the ring to put over this fantastic tag team but also with the announcement of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2023 and the winners will become the new NXT Tag Team [Rhodes goes to back to the commentary table.]

Finally onto our main event; set the clock back a few weeks; Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser [with Giovanni Vinci] has been badgering the NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov for a championship opportunity, which he hasn't declined but he is a strategist and may be in the first week as in when the challenge is requested Dragunov goes to answer but pauses and walks away thinking, second week; video package promo same thing happens, but on the third week; he says sure but you will have to earn it first at NXT Presents In Your House: Reunion in a Ladder Match where there will be two contracts up for grabs; the first is your No1 Contenders Contract for the NXT Championship, whilst in the other is what I want in return. Kaiser: "Sure whatever, it isn't going to happen anyway."

So obviously on the night of this event Dragunov is victorious as the official General Manager for tonight Rhodes has one final official act to do and that is to read/make this match official; so he comes into the ring for the final time; Dragunov hands Rhodes the contract and with a mic in his hands; he begins to say; then puts his hand over the mic just to make sure; are you sure you want this Dragunov? Dragunov: "Yes." With Rhodes saying okay. It is official it will be the NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov vs. Imperium's WWE Intercontinental Champion Walter in a First Blood Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Where I know it is never for most of the time good for it Champion to lose, but when these two collide; it isn't such a bad thing as in either won could lose at any time to the other, but they are not harmed by this in the slightest. Because if you have ever watched at least one of these matches between these two wrestlers they usually beat the 10 Bells out of one another so the result is the result, but a loss to one another isn't anything to be worried about; Walter will win/retain his championship at this Premium Live Event.

Even though I haven't put an entire show in place I think you get the right idea of the kind of thing is that they could have/should have done instead of what they came up with on the 10/10/2023 episode of NXT and not being arrogant, but my rough outlay would have hopefully go over 1 million viewers and I mean this in the absolutely right way, because I really like AEW, but this is how you beat them properly I should quickly state in theory, you put out the best product you can on both sides of this divide and you see who is properly victorious and very finally; it is wrestling that wins. Because I can't state this enough and for those fans that went through this time period as well; it was just the worst having the WWE monopolising the business; in short they became lazy so more wrestling promotions that will keep the WWE focused on putting out better content the better.

All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite 25/10/2023 & its possible landscape shift by AverageMansReviews

All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite 25/10/2023 & its possible landscape shift by AverageMansReviews

Warning Disclaimer: some of this content will be based on opinion/speculation makes it with fact. Full disclosure; I am roughly aware of what is happening with this promotion I just haven't watched up to date content on TV just based on time, I am still watching it in chronological order, so I will get there eventually, yes I am very much aware that the time I get there; there will be new/old content to watch.

What is happening with All Elite Wrestling?: Now as I have seen online as it relates to Wednesday 25/10/2023 episode of AEW: Dynamite. I will discuss the fact first; Tony Khan could be just getting these big names in to inflate his TV figures, because their TV deal is going to be up for negotiation soon, which this is also a tactic that the WWF/WWE has used also.

Now having said that we enter into speculation/my opinion; I had been thinking about this for some time; but I am discussing it now based on if this is an indication of what is going to happen we got a clear indication of that here from this past week; which I could be completely wrong, but if they do this properly I know it works because the WWF/WWE as in the WWF era did this all the time. In theory they put a younger talent with an older talent in some way be it wrestler or/and manager to give them credibility as in subliminally they are associated with this individual that they must be worth investing in. So when it was time to put them in the main event slots they were already made products, which if given more time as in years upon years, this becomes a very fruitful circle of life and in hindsight I have just realised they could be trying to make the  AEW International Championship into their equivalent of the WWE Intercontinental Championship and for the younger generations back in this time period of the WWF; they made the WWF Intercontinental Championship vitally important, if you basically won this championship you were being groomed for the main event picture.

If any of this speculation/opinion turns out to be true; Khan needs to know about the pitfalls; if he is seriously considering this; he even believes in it or he doesn't do it, there is no half measures, he can slow down and keep plates spinning [like the WWF were masterful at doing this at one point in history for such a long time.] Even though I haven't watched it yet, as I have been transparent I have watched other people's content and without me actually seeing it I know what happened to the ratings drop of this episode of Dynamite Khan made this episode top-heavy which basically means in this case; he put his hottest talent on first in the AEW World Champion in MJF and connecting characters and after that people began to switch off or switch over because maybe or possibly they had the idea that they weren't going to see MJF anymore which is also compounded by of what I have heard he didn't as in Khan didn't have the right balance of the old guard with AEW originals/or the younger talent [on a quick side note; it is never a good idea to go away from the talent that brought you to the dance in the first place regardless of gender]/or the women's division yet again for I think the third time taking one step forward and then 10 steps backwards, which is unacceptable especially as I have already made reference to this is roughly the third time I am making reference to the women getting badly treated. I mean okay for the first time; you had to focus on the first-ever Forbidden Door, so I will give you that one just once [as it is a learning curve] but for the second and third time by my count it is now reaching unacceptable levels.

But I digress; as I discussed earlier the WWF were masterful at keeping plates spinning, so it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have gaps in the storyline from the perspective of maybe having a break from the storyline for a week or you know I have interviewed segments basically uses a variety in your stories including just giving it a week to breathe, so you can focus on other things and the final pitfall is; as I have already said in a roundabout way; Khan either believes in this way of doing things or if he doesn't don't do it. The reason why I have brought this up again is to make this very valid point; the WWF/WWE pulled the plug on this conveyor belt of talent way of doing things, where instead of putting over younger talent, Mr McMahon chose to stay with the present talent which soon became older talent which then became very old talent and as there was not anyone coming up behind them to basically replace them; we all know what happened; the most insufferable period of the WWF/WWE in its history.

If NXT are not careful things could go badly for Lexis King 2023 by AverageMansReviews

If NXT are not careful things could go badly for Lexis King 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Warning/Disclaimer: I am just going to say things as they are; but I will use creative ways to tone it down and disclaimer this has nothing, I will repeat that nothing to do with tribalism and finally I have never been likely to be a professional wrestler.

Brian Pillman Jr. came to the WWE/NXT to do this garbage?: Straight off the bat I have no problem with Brian Pillman Jr. now known as Lexis King within NXT/WWE leaving AEW for the land of WWE, but I have a massive problem with his entire character and current direction. Newsflash I really don't give two dumplings if he gave the WWE/NXT permission to do this whole current character hatred for living in his father's shadow [Brian Pillman Sr.] and never living up to it; so instead I am just going to take a dump on it and milk it for all it's worth. I mean when I saw one of the vignettes involving Sr. I was already beginning to stress concern but on seeing his debut online including just now watching his debut match at NXT Halloween Havoc Night 1 Tuesday 24/10/2023 I can now confirm that it was everything I was absolutely dreading.

I mean I hope I am wrong, but as I have been around wrestling for quite a few years since the late 1980's these heel character types don't have a long shelf life, especially when it isn't focusing on the individual, but the legacy of the individual in question. So what usually happens is; eventually the crowd will turn on this individual and garner go away heat. Especially in cases like these where they are taking a massive dump on the legacy of a legendary wrestler/character of their previous generation of their family in Sr. that is/was beloved.

In all honesty; I do feel like a bit of a idiot now, because Jr. in a debut always came across in AEW as someone like you know; I am aware of my background, but I want to do this wrestling thing as Brian Pillman Jr. having some similarities to my father and likewise making some references to my father, but on the whole standing on my own two feet.

But in NXT it couldn't be much more different even if they tried; as he has left the whole hard work and effort to be an individual to stand by himself he has chosen the seemingly quicker and easier way and that is to ironically live in his father's shadow by bringing him up every time [so far.]

I mean is extended [using the ring ropes] very similar to Randy Orton's DDT but very similar to a neck breaker finisher needs a lot of work or/better yet come up with something much better; because I just don't like it, it looks cheap and tacky and absolutely pointless.

Actually on reflection; he looks green as this here has gone backwards in his development, I know his appearances on AEW TV programming were rare, but he looked much more of a solid looking wrestler; it looks like he has just conformed to the WWE style of wrestling 101; so on one hand I hope everything turns out all right for him, whilst on the other hand; I was thinking I would just create this content just in case it goes as I think it will go to point out that I stressed earlier on these problems; you know what I mean when you have somebody going "I can see that happening" whilst you have the other person going "It is easy to say that in hindsight." But finally back onto his debut match/match slot I fear that that this persona is here to stay as we have both Vic Joseph and Booker T basically reinforcing them and yes I know it is his debut services to be expected, but for me it just has that smell of this character isn't going to last too long before it garners some form of go away heat as I have already stated.

Hackers 1996 by AverageMansReviews

Hackers 1996 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/racism/sexism/misogyny/animal biting/shooting

This film smells and looks like from the 1990's: in a nutshell; these bunch of computer hackers need to stop this computer program/virus from getting out; it is called Da Vinci programme; Eugene Belford/"The Plague" [Fisher Stevens:] the creator of this program/virus that alongside  Lauren Murphy [Alberta Watson:] they both work for Ellingson Mineral Corporation, but if these other hackers fail some of these hackers are looking at present strictures such as Dade Murphy/"Zero Cool"/ "Crash Override" [Younger: Dade Murphy/"Zero Cool": Max Ligosh/Older: Jonny Lee Miller:] as when he was younger he was already a very gifted individual as it relates to computers, but as this film will show let's just say he was a handful as a child, then we have Kate Libby/"Acid Burn" [Angelina Jolie:] she is also very gifted in front of a computer, but is also a personality a very strong female and there are other very gifted hackers, being chased down by the U.S. Secret Service Special Agent Richard Gill [Wendell Pierce:] he is the lead on cracking down on this bunch of hackers and others criminal hackers to bring them to justice.

The framework and pacing of this 104 minutes film, including the atmosphere is very much in tone of the 1990's alternative scene, so this is all good.

Action/Comedy: we have a sequence of events where we have Dade Murphy/"Crash Override" vs. Kate Libby/"Acid Burn" in this competition to see which one is the better hacker out of them; the competition is to pull the best hack on U.S. Secret Service Special Agent Richard Gill; so for an example and this is the cleanest example I can put here safely; Kate Libby/"Acid Burn" basically performs the insufficient funds destroying credit card, so Agent Gill gets embarrassed possibly on a date with a woman when his credit card get the old hand scissors cut routine right in front of him and his date; yes there are stakes to this competition as well.

Art: the computer components to this film and also when Dade Murphy/"Crash Override" and Kate Libby/"Acid Burn" in the swimming pool; over some ending credits so this is partly a small extra scene followed by then for some reason going back to the film then just having the ending credits roll, but I am getting away from my point these underwater close-up elements are also good art.

Character developments and performances: likewise this assembled cast of characters and performances are good as well; including these character developments of Dade Murphy/"Crash Override" that mentally sees the world slightly differently to everyone else as in his head; it runs like a mixture between TV and computer [ it is a mixture so at one point or another this will apply] or/and Penn Jillette as Hal; he works for  the Ellingson Mineral Corporation as a computer over is here of their system, if this name sounds familiar yes he is one half of the legendary magician double act Penn & Teller.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; even though I have rated this film as just over halfway, it is still very much worth a watch based on, this is back when we had projects like this one, where they were really onto something about computers being a massive part of our lives now [back then and potentially in the future which is the present and beyond.] Just in case anyone is wondering; I bet he can't find any other projects to support this prospective; just off the top of my head in case I have or missed any or am not aware of it, so in no particular order; Johnny Mnemonic 1995 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2018/03/johnny-mnemonic-1995-by.html, The Net 1995 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2020/06/the-net-1995-by-averagemansreviews.html , Under Siege 2: Dark Territory 1995 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2018/03/under-siege-2-dark-territory-1995-by.html, Shadow Conspiracy 1997 Linkhttps://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2023/01/shadow-conspiracy-1997-by.html, The Matrix 1999 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2021/12/the-matrix-1999-by-averagemansreviews.html, Disclosure 1994, The Lawnmower 1992 Man and Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace 1996

Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story 2023 [alternative name Gran Turismo] by AverageMansReviews

Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story 2023 [alternative name Gran Turismo] by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/bodily functions/vehicles crashing/burning/medical

From Wales to France with a little bit of ginger in the mix: in summary; Jann Mardenborough [Archie Madekwe:] a highly skilled Gran Turismo player with aspirations to be a professional racer, but as luck should have it you get given this opportunity to fulfil his dream, by Danny Moore [Orlando Bloom:] he is a motorsports marketing executive for Nissan, that comes up with the crazy idea to put in short a highly skilled Gran Turismo player in a racing car, based on an untapped potential market for Nissan, after receiving some backing under one condition, he someone to sign this off from a legal perspective as in they were highly trained to begin with, so that is what he does. He finds Jack Salter [David Harbour:] he is an ex-professional driver/trainer/mechanic with a grizzly comical sarcastic outlook, at first he declines based on basically he thinks it is stupid, but he changes his mind after he walks out of his previous job for being made to look stupid, he wants the final say, they runs this GT Academy with these 10 qualified GT highly skilled videogame drivers from different parts of the world including Mardenborough.

Generally speaking: the framework and the pacing of this 134 minutes film is good, but it does find another gear with Salter being part of the film, which he is as I have already indicated grizzly comical sarcasm that enjoys listening to Black Sabbath and don’t worry you will experience a little of Black Sabbath and for the action/art using the old yet reliable sports training montages never seems to get old as long as you know how to use them properly as this film does. Now this is where the art comes into effect at points through this film in a rough description Mardenborough could be playing GT at home and the car could be assembling well around him or/and disassembling later on but he is in the car [in his mind's eye remembering things] this assembling/disassembling is smoothly, immersive and captivatingly done, there is another driving/game sequence which has it's like comical undertone, meaning it is a serious situation, but it does have elements of the comical tone. I was just thinking I would make reference to this, it just in case someone came back to me and said you didn't make reference to such and such [well there you go.]

Character developments and performances; well I'm not sure if I have made this crystal clear yet, but David Harbour as Jack Salter should at the very least be in with a small shout of being nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting actor, he just takes this character and runs with it, yes there is free-flowing chemistry between him and Archie Madekwe as Jann Mardenborough and as a partnership they lead this cast flawlessly and behind them there good character developments and performances to match. Now I should explain my ginger reference Geri Halliwell/Geri Horner as [Lesley Mardenborough:] she is the wife to Steve [Djimon Hounsou] and the mother to Coby Mardenborough [Daniel Puig] and Jann. But for the younger donations are used to be known under a different alias "Ginger Spice" as a member of the girl/woman group Spice Girls [full disclosure I missed this, but the person to watch some others contend with point it out so the credit should go to this individual and on a quick side note this individual gives this film top marks.]

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; on reflection I have decided to award my full marks based on the impact of David Harbour as Jack Salter and there is a ongoing sequence through the first lot of credits.

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/mention or and to the Holocaust and defund the police/shooting/breaking/drugs/animal cruelty/burning

Why is this film bad? Oh okay I get it now it is a Happy Madison Production; enough said: basically let's just fast-forward 50 minutes of this 95 minute film. So in a brief very small nutshell; Owen Browning [Adam Devine:] is a bank manager and in about a week or less he is getting married to Parker McDermott [Nina Dobrev:] has kidnapped, because unknown to her; her parents are infamous criminals known as the Ghost Bandit a.k.a. husband-and-wife Billy and Lily Billy McDermott [Pierce Brosnan and Ellie Barkin:] owe $6 million to Rehan Zakaryan [Poorna Jagannathan:] she used to be partners with this husband-and-wife.

The framework and pacing well as I have already alluded to the script frankly everything else related to this film; is painfully tedious, trust me when I say just follow my instructions and skip 50 minutes of this film, it just isn't amusing actually I think I laughed once, simply based on the fact I couldn't believe what I was watching and yes I actually celebrated with the person I was watching this film when we actually had storyline development with structure and actual substance instead of babbling garbage which yes it made sense, but as a viewer I just quickly couldn't care, you know when you get to that point where, I just don't care, they could win the lottery or get blown up from a rocket from outer space, up to a certain point in this larger time frame of 50 minutes you just lose the willingness to care to the point where you question everyone of your life choices at this point which made you want to watch this film in the first place. But to be fair roughly after this time, it has a reliable framework and pacing, it gets up and going. But then again it has to because it doesn’t have long to fit in some solidly good stuff.

Art: I mean don't you were wrong throughout this film from time to time there is some good art from the opening credits with all of these familiar figurines of legendary characters being used in a wedding seating arrangement or/and these other outlays.

Action/Comedy: after the 50 minute mark we have some solidly good action and/or comedy we have gunfight in this wedding cake shop and because of its close proximity it is messy, Owen picking up the gun but he quickly realises it is a part of a cake or a later on we have him assisting his new family members in this robbery dressed as Shrek calling out Donkey for his soon-to-be mother-in-law to take over or/and later on in this sequence has this combat sequence with this large man who then go and save his life, because at some point he has a heart attack and finally we have a reference to James Bond and the fifth one which if you didn't know was Pierce Brosnan's time within this franchise.

Character developments and performances: well to be honest and this is nothing lazy, if this is what they were going for with these character developments which in turn and performances they got what they wanted. So I can't criticise it too much, even though for what they were going for they were safe and reliable versions of what they are meant to be and what they wanted by the looks of it.

This film receives: 2/10, this film is poor; yes much later on it kicks into life, but now I have been amicable about this film, can I just very much highlight that I would preferably like to watch paint dry then ever watch this film again and one final thing it has one extra credit seen on-screen on the right-hand side as the credits are coming down.

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/bodily functions/electrician/references to Russia and an old referenced Germany

War Games: briefly; recently promoted Lieutenant Commander Thomas "Tom" Dodge [Kelsey Grammer:] he finally has been given a Commanding Officer post aboard  USS Stingray, SS 161 and crew took command, even with his colourful history. But there are only two problems 1. The submarine is an old diesel submarine and it's best days are far, far behind it and 2. The crew has been hand selected by Rear Admiral Yancy Graham [Bruce Dern:] one of Lieutenant Commander Dodge's superior offices; he wants him to fail this mission badly as he was against Lieutenant Commander Dodge this post. So Lieutenant Commander Dodge has got to make the best of it and win and War Games.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 92 minutes film is good; you know; it is one of those outlays that is simple yet very effective and the impossible or need to impossible to screw up [meaning; the only way you can screw this up is by not having enough content/material to fill your product up with.] Which this film doesn't have that problem, because it also uses another reliable outlay of basically all of these misfits even the professional characters are classed as misfits based on the reliable fact; if you are going to use this outlay/character types and developments; you will need some sensible ones just to balance out your selection of misfits. We action with a little bit of art as these submarines underwater including a little bit of action for examples; when our submarine has to dive Lieutenant Emily Lake [Laura Holly:] she is the Diving Officer, but she is very inexperienced on real-life diving; so there is no better place for real-life experiences with the rest of these misfits. But on to the comedy; Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Buckman [Ken Hudson Campbell:] he is the boat's chef which for a little while he takes verbal abuse from one of his senior officers; Lieutenant Martin G. "Marty" Pascal, Executive Officer [Rob Schneider:] he is the secondary in command and would like to be transferred from this boat, but it was denied by his captain. But I digress; our chef decides to make things slippy so that when his superior walks away he falls on his back, or when he tries to climb this ladder he comes straight down or/and he gets rushed over by crew members getting ready for battle stations.

Later on; just for two more examples; E.T. Lovacelli/better known as " Sonar" [Harland Williams:] he is a Sonar Technician 2nd Class with two very unique skills; a highly developed hearing and impressions of wales which both of these skills will become useful; he can tell you want other people are doing such as what coins have been dropped on a different submarine and his wales impressions will get them out of hot water at some point throughout our mission.

Character developments and performances; the character developments of their character types are good versions of what they are meant to be and likewise, there is good chemistry between this cast.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; as I have alluded to in one way or another it does follow outlays, but good fun nonetheless and finally there is an extra sequence on the left-hand side with a very well-known band for this kind of film mixed in with the characters and also parts of the film as well.

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/homophobic slur/torture/shooting/suicide/animal cruelty

How far would you go to carry out an order?: Basically; Lieutenant/Junior Grade Daniel Kaffee, USN, JAG Corps [Tom Cruise:] a self-assured individual attorney that gets given the task to get these two low ranking Marines court case dealt with alongside his colleague Lieutenant/Junior Grade Sam Weinberg, USN, JAG Corps [Kevin Pollak:] he is here to assist in this case and then the final one in this trio is  Lieutenant Commander Joanne "Jo" Galloway, USN, JAG Corps [Demi Moore:] she is the one that called for help in this situation and she the highest ranking officer out of three of them. But as always not everything goes according to plan as between these three officers they really don't want to cross paths with Colonel Nathan R. Jessep, USMC [Jack Nicholas:] that is the superior officer Marine Ground Forces, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and his right-hand man First Lieutenant Jonathan James Kendrick, USMC [Kiefer Sutherland:] there is only one more thing that this man believes in other than the Marine Corps and that is God.

The framework and pacing of this 138 minutes film is progressively good as in it just needs to keep consistently moving forward. Which swiftly brings me onto the character developments and the performances, simply because if you don't now as in if you weren't born yet from 1992 this project is a courtroom drama so it needs a well rounded cast of characters and performances; the cast at minimum has to be a good performance and bring something to the table regardless of the size of the role. So the character developments are reliably good of what they are meant to be, but however it is at the performers to take them and run with them. For a couple of examples; Lieutenant/Junior Grade Daniel Kaffee, USN, JAG Corps and Lieutenant Commander Joanne "Jo" Galloway, USN, JAG Corps that may be on the same side, but to begin with they don't exactly get on so we have this kind of comedy and other similar tone comedy in other dialogue exchanges or/and we have Lieutenant/Junior Grade Daniel Kaffee, USN, JAG Corps trying to work out things with  Captain Jack Ross, USMC, Judge Advocate Division [Kevin Bacon:] a good friend of Kaffee, but in short a prosecutor for the other side and yes go  Galloway is also involved in one of their conversations and this is one of Nicholson's best performances as Colonel Nathan R. Jessep, USMC it is alongside his performances as Jack Torrance from The Shining 1980 and Jack Napier/the Joker from a Batman 1989; as somebody you don't want to ever cross especially in his territory as he has seemingly got all his bases covered and finally we even have time for one scene with Corporal Carl Edward Hammaker, USMC [Cuba Gooding Jr.] giving evidence in this trial.

Art: we have a little bit of art having pictures of these monuments/statues for an example The Washington Monument.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; this film is one of those films that you need to see once in your lifetime as I have already pointed out it has a very well established cast and this should be absolutely no surprise but it also has awards accredited to its name 10 Winners that includes ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards 1994 ASCAP Award Top Box Office Films Marc Shaiman and Chicago Film Critics Association Awards 1993 CFCA Best Supporting Actor Jack Nicholson. 30 Nominees that includes 4 from the Academy Awards Oscars 1993 Best Picture David Brown Rob Reiner Andrew Scheinman, Best Actor in a Supporting Role Jack Nicholson, Best Sound Kevin O'Connell Rick Kline Robert Eber Best and Film Editing Robert Leighton.

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/animal cruelty/medical

In confusion: Bill Gambini and Stan Rothenstein [Ralph Macchio and Mitchell Whitfield :] two good friends met one another at NYU and both got scholarships to UCLA driving through the South [Alabama,] but whilst picking up some groceries Bill forgets to pay for this can of tuna fish [he puts it in his pocket as he has pile of groceries in his arms;] sometime later they individually confess to this minor crime, but in the police officers in mind they are converting to murder or/and aiding and abetting. It is a good thing that Bill has a member of his family in the world of law his cousin Vinny. Vinny Gambini/other characters [Joe Pesci:] is an attorney, it should be pointed out a small claims attorney or just to cover back something to that effect, you know those ones that come out with those commercials; “Were you or someone you know injured at work?" Well give me a call and we will fix you up right away with it big cash settlement [with a very quick verbal disclaimer in some way or another saying; a big cash settlement is not guaranteed and then the end of the commercial. Luckily enough he isn't coming alone; he has a long-term fiancé Mona Lisa Vito [Marisa Tomei:] a strong minded woman, that is a hairdresser, comes from a long line of mechanics in her family and she is a long suffering fiancé, because they agreed after Vinny wins his first case they would get married.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 119 minutes film is in a nutshell solidly good, but to begin with it does take a good section of this film to get going. You seem the reason why I chose to do this content in a general speaking manner is because within the framework and pacing we have three running comedy for partly or throughout this film and other elements of comedy as well; we have Vinny or/and Vito unable to get a good nights sleep, because they keep getting woken up by different sounds, Vinny and Judge Chamberlain Haller [Fred Gwynne:] a judge which is very strict on things and he is trying to solve his own ministry of who is the real Vinny Gambini [he is unqualified to take this case] and finally Vinny is going to fight somebody for $200 at some point, he is just waiting for the individual to come up with the correct money.

Character development and the performances; the character developments are good versions of what they are meant to be, but however it is the performances of this cast that sells them to the viewers, so as you will see it later it isn't too surprising that this film got accredited awards for them. There are no weak performances from this cast at minimum they are solidly good or much higher; to be spearheaded by this trio of Pesci or/and Tomei or/and Gwynne; they all have either a little drop of friction when Judge Chamberlain Haller tells Vito to sit down or a lot of friction between Vinny and the other two individually, so yes this trio are the driving force behind the project.

This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; the only reason I took a mark off is because as I have already referenced the pacing and framework is a bit slower for at minimum the opening section. But it is most definitely one of those films that you need to see once in your lifetime and as I had to also made reference to; this film also has some awards accredited to its name. 5 Winners that includes Academy Awards, USA 1993 Oscar Best Actress in a Supporting Role Marisa Tomei and  American Comedy Awards, USA 1993 American Comedy Awards Funniest Actor in a Motion Picture (Leading Role) Joe Pesci. 6 Nominees that includes; from the same award ceremony/event as I have just previously mentioned Funniest Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture Fred Gwynne and Funniest Actress in a Motion Picture (Leading Role) Marisa Tomei

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/breaking/self harm/shooting/references to child abuse and domestic violence

This is an odd little film: this film is shot from the prospective of making a TV program; the host of an anthology TV series [Bryan Cranston:] simply put he is like a narrator/physical on-screen narrator. In my opinion he has the best comedy moment in this film; because it is simple yet effective to pull off, basically there is a moment in this film where he is in colour as it relates to the film and he realises that he shouldn't be there on-screen at that time. Conrad Earp [Edward Norton:] a legendary playwright and then we have Schubert Green [Adrien Brody:] the director of this project in black-and-white.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 105 minutes film is; well straight off the bat the first thing I should point out is; basically this project has been split down mainly into two rotating timelines; beforehand production and anything to do with that which can be signified in these scenes or a sequences being in black-and-white, meanwhile the actual theatre production in its complete form using normal colour. Moving on slightly with their framework and pacing; I am sitting here scratching my head, because much later on in a black-and-white sequence; as far as I can make out of putting your audience in this false sense of sleep or something like that, I think what they were going with here is; making your audiences go through this really slow film and on top of that to really push that idea we have this of something to the effect of; this chant of "If you don't fall asleep you can't wake up!" Which obviously then brings up the questions of; so you are deliberately making this film slow and in hindsight making it a chore to get through them? Why? Is it a inside a joke that we are not privy to?

I mean everything you need to know about this film is; the art of the colour parts of this film; the bed designs, the costumes and everything else, as we are being sit down in the era of the 1950's and not forgetting the spaceship this is all captivating and the strongest asset to this film by none. Don't get me wrong I am not disrespecting any of the cast because they all put in a good job, but because of the framework and pacing I felt really disconnected and made sleepy; but also drawn in by the art, it is a very mixed of things with this film.

I mean I am British so we understand deadpan comedy easily, but there is deadpan and then there is tumbleweed coming across the screen, other than the brief moment of comedy I mentioned earlier, this film is quite depressing and bleak.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; this mark is clearly to represent the positives of this film such as; all of the artistic visions of including the division between the two timelines in a nutshell one using black-and-white and the other not and the cast is all good. I mean for a moment I was going to go for a lesser mark, but then I went back to my original marking, because it just became really hard to justify it. So if you like weird films with a well assembled cast of names including a science-fiction theme, then take a look at this film, I should just say I like my weird films also, but as I have already alluded to in one way or another this film wasn't/isn't the most easiest to understand in its construction not by content. This film also has some awards accredited to its name; 5 Nominees that includes International Cinematographers' Film Festival Manaki Brothers 2023 Golden Camera 300 Main Competition Camera 300 Robert D. Yeoman
