Warning: there is colourful effects/flashing effects/shooting/breaking/running over/suicide/medical

Politics is a dangerous career choice: Bobby Bishop [Charlie Sheen] is a special aid to the President of the United States [Sam Waterston] and Bishop finds himself in a life-threatening situation and the only one he can really trust is a ex-girlfriend and news reporter for the Herald Amanda Givens [Linda Hamilton] to get to the bottom of this situation, whilst Jacob Conrad [Donald Sutherland] tries to clean up this situation carefully and quietly as the President wants as Bishop and Conrad have a father and son like a relationship of sorts.

The pacing of this 103 minutes film is mobile; meaning generally speaking what with the storyline, on one hand safe and reliable character developments and performances, whilst on the other hand the easily predictable storyline and character developments put this all together including the pacing equals solid film [only if you haven't seen it before.]

Don't get the wrong the artistic visions such as the scenery including four just to examples; the sculpture of The Awakening [very basic description bits of an individual coming out of the ground; they are large and noticeable, so you won't be able to miss it, this individual is in the background one dialogue scene with Bishop and Given] and right at the end of this film we have this slow state by state sequence to reveal the Earth and outer-space

Likewise for the action there are these chasing sequences that all give this project some more good positive value, but this building/usage of this gift; its creator/controller The Agent [Stephen Lang.] This has to be given high praise for its imagination from an artistic also simultaneously as an action sequence. I can't tell you too much more than that, because it is a project in process at stages in this film, I can reassure you though you will see it at some point towards the very closing stages of this film.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; I mean after everything is said and done this mark best reflects this film, you know it knows what it is and it sticks to its plan.
