Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/domestic violence/shooting/stabbing/cutting/drugs/torture/burning/medical

Who is White Rivers?: Straight off the bat because this film uses a mystery outlay I will be using their character names which they have even though at one point or another they use other names. So there's this Virtuoso/The Virtuoso [Anson Mount] last job didn't exactly go according to plan, within a small time he gets given another hit to carry out by The Mentor [Anthony Hopkins;] the majority of this film focuses on this mission.

The pacing, of this 110 minutes film on a very basic level to begin with is solidly mobile, but however including everything such as the pacing, the framework, the character developments and the performances on a certain aspect without giving too much away. But having said that it will become very crystal clear if or when you choose to watch this film.

Now when we deal with The Virtuosos we have this inner monologue including talking in the third person, yes just for the record I know these are two different perspectives and yes this is what we have in this film, where at some point or another it will switch between one to the other and back again. It got tedious and tiresome after some time, in the interest of fairness and balance, maybe it was to try and show that an element of complete militarisation or/and either way to be honest that being in this life for too long messes with your head. But even though I have now been fair and balanced I should just say it got tedious and tiresome.

Whilst I'm here I may as well carry on with the character developments and performances generally speaking their all good on both counts. But I have to point out, highlight and give massive praise to Anthony Hopkins as The Mentor; even though his role is limited he still makes a gigantic impact. As this character he tells this very dark and real-life story of his character of what he and the father of The Virtuoso where ordered to do Lieutenant and that his father had mentally gone to pieces. Because of the dark nature of this story I am not going to leave any of the content of it. But I can say that; Hopkins as this character what, he had to do back then, but also what he carries with him to this very day. As they say in the context of films, TV and any other project within Hollywood “You can put in one lifetime performance, but class is permanent and what we have here is Hopkins putting in a class performance on reflection I think I am going to award another mark to this project based on this scene.

Action/Art: these are solidly reliable, you know weapons being used and combat that kind of thing, but I have to highlight one sequence of events because we also get a little bit of art as it takes place when it is snowing and there are trees, so we have The Virtuoso vs. Deputy [David Morse]

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; after everything is said and done this project find itself at this mark, if they're already fans of Anthony Hopkins take a look at this film but as I have already referenced it does have a limited role and just to finish off there is this lovely dog in this film: named Dog in the film but his real name is Willow the Old English Sheepdog [just to cover my back he is at the very least either this breed mixed with another perhaps, I don't know dogs that will I know averagely at best, I mean I just had to ask the person I watched this film with what this breed was and mixed in with some research we got there.]
