Sonic with his helicopter pal better knuckle up to go another round with  Dr. Robotnik/Doctor Eggman: we meet Sonic the Hedgehog [voiced by Ben  Schwartz] as he is trying his hand at the crime-fighting thing as Blue Justice which based on what we see hasn't been going according to plan. But unknown to him Dr. Robotnik/Doctor Eggman [Jim Carrey] thanks to his new associate Knuckles the Echidna/Knuckles [voiced by Idris Elba] has found his way back to Earth as this new evil partnership are both looking for these crystals by the name of The Chaos Emeralds. But don't worry Sonic has his Number 1 Fan beside him in Miles "Tails" Prower [voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey] and yes there is one extra scene in the credits. The pacing for this roughly 122 minutes film is good, this sequel does everything it is meant to do, as in moves things on in the storyline, introduces new characters or/and develop them with the returning characters which the returning characters are being developed as well, as this film is computer animation mixed in with live-action the computer animation as it relates to Sonic's appearance has been smoothed around less pointy [it seemed like his blue and other colours look less of a separate entity and more of a natural finish then presentation.]

There is so many good things in this film; here is a rough selection of things; Sonic vs. Knuckles [any sequences of them,] Sonic and Tails team up against these other characters/performers in a dance off to save themselves.

Jim Carey as Dr. Robotnik/Doctor Eggman; should absolutely once again win or get at the very least nominated for some awards for this role again; he is Dr. Robotnik/Doctor Eggman, he has just made this iconic videogame character into this iconic film character and I know this is just the second time for Jim Carey in this role, but he is just taken it and ran with it. As he is spent quite a lot of time on this Mushroom Planet on his own minus Agent Stone [this Stone] and not the character with the same name [Lee Majdoub.]

Dr. Robotnik/Doctor Eggman has clearly gone even more eccentric and he even has a good taste in music as he likes a band from my alternative lifestyle Pantera [track name Walk without the lyrics] he has just finished building this really eye-catching and captivating robot, I can't remember what he says here it is roughly something, something playlist and this begins to play and he dances around in front of the person known as Agent Stone; top class performance from Jim Carey and the other performances be it voice or performances they are all good.

This film receives: 7/10: this film is good; after taking everything into consideration, this mark is the outcome; yes you still get the Sega thing at the beginning of this film and the recap of this film in computer game format at the end of this film.
