Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business 1998 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/suicide/electrocution/medical procedures/cutting of the neck/breaking of the neck/knife in the neck/knife in the eye/character on fire/human waste/exploding character.

Storyline: the storyline and pacing are something safe and reliable; the storyline does this recap of the previous film installment [Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms 1998] and takes things from there and yet again it leaves things on a question mark.

Action/Comedy: there are some moments of when these two components go hand-in-hand, for one example Luc Devereaux/GR 44/Battaglia driving this ambulance to escape this hostile situation and runs over Cooper/GR 82/Campbell Vanessa Roberts/West looking stunned by this with Devereaux/GR 44/Battaglia turning to her and saying "He probably didn't feel it." with him turning his head back around to drive with Roberts/West still looking at him.

Action individually; there is weapons being used, combat and chasing.

Comedy individually; Devereaux/GR 44/Battaglia has taken/stolen these items on telling Roberts/West; she throws this bankcard out of this moving vehicle she is driving and then Devereaux/GR 44/Battaglia produces this money from somewhere hidden, Roberts/West takes it off him and thinks for a second and then gives him the look and body language of "Oh well we have it now."

Art: there are some scenes by night with lights, these train scenes and one very tiny sky element in a scene; these are good.

Characters/Performances: including the on-screen chemistry; well they are what they are; meaning they do their job and they are something safe and reliable; there is some natural chemistry when a family member returns on screen with Devereaux/GR 44/Battaglia or Devereaux/GR 44/Battaglia and Roberts/West [you know usually I would be a little bit more specific, but I would be giving way, way, way too much the storyline away here.]

This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; this title is solid it knows what it is and it sticks to it; if there are any fans of Burt Reynolds out there in Internet land he is in this sequel from Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms 1998 as well, but he has a bigger role in this instalment, so take a look at this film, but I would keep in mind my marking of this project because based on my opinion it is a fair outcome.
