Review Time:
5 things about this episode
Warning: there are flashing/colourful/other effects in
this episode.
Moral message: look both ways before crossing
the street
Haunted Forest/Blooper: this would be inside Lord Zedd's Dark Dimension, be it from an action
perspective or art perspective there is a lot here; Kimberly/The Pink Power
Ranger is performing this spinning circular movement with a two footed attack
at the end, on a quick side note and this is just speculation, but this is also
just based on my viewing experience. I wonder if this TV program has been given
a bigger budget to work with just because you see these kinds of action
sequences including other aspects of these episodes. But in the previous season
may be they had a limited budget; still came out with great creativity or
imagination but in comparison from the previous season to this current season
there is a massive difference.
Now just to
focus on the art for a minute; the monster with a tombstone for a head/body
that has a massive crack going from left to right lower down on his body with
an eyeball situated in this crevice this is great art. But here is the blooper
Lord Zedd doesn't make this monster large for the final action sequence for
this episode, instead an old monster gets made large which the Power Rangers
have already defeated with the Power Blaster [in episode 54 Trick or Treat.] So
how precisely was this monster going to defeat much more stronger Zords in the
Thunder Megazord with the Thunder Saber and White Tigerzord/White Tigerzord:
Warrior Mode? Basically if Lord Zedd wanted to give The Power Rangers another
victory over him he went the right way about it.
This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is lots of fun; in short in one way or another
this episode has lots to offer its viewers.
